So now things escalate further.

Burokori had finally touched ground after a somewhat long and boring flight through the sky, wondering which direction Vegeta would most likely be eventually arriving from. The market place was somewhat quiet, not surprising for what time of day it was on the planet. Most Saiyans would either be out on missions, at home, or in a bar of some sort, preparing for the next day. Burokori had been walking at this point, coming to a stop in front of a bench. She thought about sitting down before deciding not to.

She had so many questions! What was that strange powerup that he and that Kid had did the other day? How was he so strong? Would he...Would he teach her how to do that?

The warrior belatedly realized she had been pacing back and forth as she ran the questions through her mind. Perhaps she was getting overly excited. He didn't seem willing to fight her at all. If she didn't know any better, she'd think he was somewhat trying to avoid her, she reflected, a hand against her chin in thought. But she was genuinely interested in finding out where all his strength came from. Honestly, she didn't think she'd ever end up fighting another Saiyan stronger than herself. Many elites were wary whenever they were graced to be in her presence, and her sometimes overly belligerent personality, which would make someone like Nappa a saint in comparison, didn't help matters. Sure, Nappa looked plenty strong, but she was confident she could take someone like the Saiyan general, were they to ever cross paths.

But Vegeta was a different matter entirely. Never had she fought someone that was so much stronger than her and nearly brushed her off as well. That fact made her a bit irritated and a bit tingly inside all at the same time.

She hadn't really felt like that since meeting Paragus.

Briefly, she wondered how Paragus and their kid were doing. Perhaps her son would be even stronger than Vegeta?

Thinking of Vegeta had her feeling annoyed again, as she wasn't even sure when he was to show up in the marketplace. Her pacing not having stopped, she froze suddenly after hearing the roar of what sounded like huge vehicles. She slowly looked up, noticing a fleet of too large ships adorned with a logo similar to the now deteriorating Planet Trade Organization.

Is this why Vegeta hadn't shown up yet? Was it because of these ships? She wasn't in the mood for distractions, so she quickly ascended with the intent of getting closer to investigate.

"Okra..." Vegeta called out to her as if he was the parent prepared to scold a child.

She knew this was her fault, but for Vegeta to immediately call her out on it? He didn't fathom how much that grated on her nerves at that very moment.

"What?" She ground out aggressively, hesitating for the first time to look Vegeta in the eye.

"What did you do?" He demanded almost without emotion. He couldn't be bothered getting more angry than he's been getting the last couple of days. Seeing what looked like not just a fleet, but an armada of ships that had Cooler's name all over it just could not rile him up any further. Okra had done a good job of that beforehand.

Deciding not to egg her on, but also not backing down, Vegeta hovered closer to where her form floated, staring down the idling fleet of ships. He watched her intently, arms crossed and waiting for a reply from her.

Okra glanced in his general direction without turning her head and balled her fists. "What do you want from me? Haven't you humiliated me enough?"

This was reminding him of when he first attacked Earth back when he was younger. Okra isn't the only one who's taken blows to her pride. But for her, this was probably something new and alien.

But that was besides the point. He could try dialoguing with her at a more suitable time.

"You're evading the question," he retorted, ignoring her complaint. Okra sighed in defeat. Just yesterday, she was the one in control of this situation, or at least had a handle on it. Now everything was spiraling out of control. It seemed even though Broly's blood was powerful, it was distorting much of the decisions she could have had better results with just common sense.

"I...told Cooler off when he contacted the palace."

Instead of growing angry as she'd expected him to, he instead began to laugh.

"That was unbelievably stupid," he chastised, but the declaration was offset by the proud smile on his face and his closed eyes. She looked away pointedly, not looking for her own son to validate her decisions.

"Well then, at least you pissed him off with pride. I would have done the same thing," he added before bringing his fists level with his hip. "I don't know about you, but I'm going to make sure Cooler doesn't have a round trip back to his home."

Okra grunted in agreement and nodded her head.

"We'll talk after this is over, alright?" Vegeta amended, not sounding nearly as miffed as earlier. Perhaps the prospect of fighting Cooler had lightened his mood. He flew off before Okra could reply. The queen rolled her eyes in annoyance before following.

It was perhaps midday when Raditz finally announced his presence at the home of his parents. He still lived there in a sense, but because he'd been recently promoted to second-class, much of his time was spent off world.

"I'm home!" he shouted, barging in without so much as a warning. Bardock and Gine were still seated at the table when he entered the kitchen.

"Raditz," Bardock greeted with an almost imperceptible nod. Gine's greeting was more showy as she rose from her seat to pull him into a hug.

"Mother!" he complained loudly. "I'm a warrior! I don't need you babying me," he asserted, though his face was flushed from embarrassment. Gine didn't seem to notice his discomfort though she did let go of him and settled on holding his shoulders.

"Oh, c'mon, Raditz, we haven't seen you in almost a year! And you're still thirteen," she reminded with a smile. "Pfft, warriors don't get hugged," he grumbled stubbornly, before not too roughly removing Gine's hands from his shoulders.

"So what's up? Did I miss anything?" He asked idly, heading straight for the food preserver unit, to see if his favorite dish was in it.

"A lot," Bardock understated, not yet bothering to elaborate. He would tell him about Kakarot later. "It's good news. Frieza's dead."

Raditz froze in his rummaging through the storage unit, turning his head a bit, showing that he had been stuffing his face, earning a glare from his mother.

"What did I tell you about putting your food on a plate?"

"But I bet father still doesn't do that!" He complained, making Bardock frown. Did he just snitch on him?

"Why you little-"

"You were saying, Bardock?" Gine effectively cut off Bardock's angry rant. Gine rested the side of her head on one hand, already ignoring Raditz, who ended up putting his food on a plate anyway.

A/N: Gonna stop the chapter here. The next chapter is guaranteed face bashing and what not. Taking care of some things irl, so I couldn't manage to make this chapter longer. But yes, Raditz is not forgotten and he will eventually meet his younger brother from the future who is now older than him.
