AN:

The third of four Extra/Deleted Scene inputs. Enjoy!

Special shout outs:

Guest: Consider your first suggestion received and being applied. As for combining chapters, I'm a firm believer in cutting chapters as soon as they stop flowing, and I'm sorry it's more difficult/time consuming for you to read, but the past couple of chapters aren't supposed to be chapters. They're extras, little blips I didn't deem important enough to make into full chapters. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, but if it's any consolation, after the last extra/deleted scene, the CoS chapters are relatively lengthy. Thanks for the suggestions!

To all my reviewers: you guys rock, thank you for the continued encouragement, it means a lot!

To all you non reviewers:you rock too, and I'm glad you're still reading!

Lillian had learned rather quickly that Devon was a heavy sleeper, a heavy sleeper, and always extremely reluctant to wake up. She was so reluctant, in fact, that Lillian had taken to getting up an extra half an hour earlier than needed in order to make sure the other girl was up in time to eat breakfast before classes started.

Waking up to the alarm she had set the night prior, Lillian let out a startled yelp when she opened her eyes only to find Peeves' head where her ceiling should have been.

"May I inquire," Lillian began after the initial shock, "As to why you are hovering above me at six-forty-five in the morning Peeves?"

"I couldn't help but to notice your roommate is rather difficult to wake up in the mornings. I've decided to offer you my assistance."

A brow quirked, Lillian's eyes narrowed at the still hovering ghost, "Nothing cruel."

"Ah, negotiation," Peeves grinned.

"No, this isn't a negotiation. This is you agreeing to my terms or not helping at all."

Peeves let out a gusty breath before sitting back and hovering above the foot of her bed, legs crossed as he watched her push back her covers and sit up.

"Sassy."

"Nothing cruel, Peeves. Your reputation precedes you, so only harmless tricks, or no tricks at all."

"Define harmless, Miss Black."

"No pain, just enough to wake her."

"Deal." He extended a hand, mischievous twinkle in his ghostly gaze, "Shake on it?"

Lillian smiled, a wicked, brilliant thing that was an all too familiar sight to Peeves; for he had seen that same smile on her father's youthful face many times, years ago. "Not falling for that one Peeves, but what's your game plan to wake sleeping Beauty?"

"Plan? Oh little Black, I've got many, many game plans." He chortled with unbridled mischievousness.

To all my reviewers, followers, first timers, and old-timers, I hope you enjoyed!

Until next time,
