I HAVE BEEN GONE SO LONG!

Sorry for not updating in so long but I had a really busy last few weeks or months whatever you prefer. So a little updating so you don't get confused.

After doing a little research on the turtles in human form I have decided that I will turn Leo's hair to black since that is what most people do and it seems more fitting as well.

So, yeah. Great to be back and enjoy the next chapter.

Chapter 28

"SARAH! Let's Go! We need to get there before all the good dresses are gone!" Amy calls from my living room where she is waiting so we can go shopping for our outfits for the dance. We had only about a 5 days till the dance and Amy wanted to go and get the dress as quickly as possible. We have known about the dance for about a week now and only today do we have the chance to go shopping.

"Alright! I'm coming!" I said grabbing my purse and heading to the living room.

We called a taxi and arrived at the mall in record time since Amy pretty much made the driver speed (which is kinda impossible in this city).

"LETS GO!" Amy pretty much carried me into a fancy dress store which we spent the next 3 hours in. The store was clearly made for formal dresses. There were spring dresses, winter dresses, ones for the fall, weddings, funerals, parties and the fancy dances. Amy was all over the dresses. She grabbed ten at a time and went into the outfitting room to try them all on. She never seemed satisfied. I on the other hand took my time looking at every dress and only taking them off the rack if I truly liked them. At the end of the three hours and had chosen a pink strapless dress the frilly bottom. The top is completely bedazzled and is white while the bottom has several layers of different shades of pink. I have no idea where she found it but she does look good in it.

I on the other hand had found my dress long ago. I didn't want anything frilly or exotic colors. So I went through the store for about an hour before I finally picked out the perfect dress.

The dress is white with hints of gold as well. It has one sleeve that goes all that goes past my wrist. I goes to about mid-thigh and is skin tight. On the shoulder there is the design of a golden flower that has small petals falling down onto my chest. The dress has some folds in hit just after the chest but it keeps tight the howl way through.

I was in complete love with the dress and had quickly tired it on to get the proper size before I bought it. Unfortunately because of my quick pick I now had to wait for Amy who was trying on her 17th dress.

"Amy, hurry up." I complained as I sat on the ground outside of the changing room.

"Okay, okay. What do you think of this one?" She asked stepping out of the changing room. She was now wearing a strapless pink dress that was very frilly at the bottom and was tight around the chest.

"To frilly," I saw looking away. It's true it looks like a tutu almost.

"Are you sure?" Amy asked a looking at herself in a mirror.

"Yeah. Go try on this. I found it, I think you will like it. Then you can pick out the dress you like from the 17 you have tried on."

"Fine," Amy huffs and walks back into the stall.

"Is she done yet," asks the lady who is in charge of the fitting rooms.

"Almost. I am making her try on this dress and then she has to choose or I will for her."

The lady groans and lays her head on the desk. I am pretty sure she hates her job and having Amy here is probably making it much worse.

I sigh and lean against the wall waiting for Amy to put on the dress. After a few moments the door opened making me look over and a huge smile formed on my face.

The dress went to just above her knees but wasn't frilly or tight, it was in the middle. The dress was attached to a golden ring that clipped around her neck nicely. The top of the dress was black with tiny hints of pink sparkles. A hot pink strap was wrapped around her waist the bottom of the dress was also black but was in layers. As the layers moved down they rotated between black and pink.

Amy's face was all red as she looked at herself and I knew that I had picked the right dress.

After Amy decided that she liked the dress we went up to the lady at the desk and gave her the other 17 dresses before walking off to pay for Amy's.

"Now we just need accessories," Amy said excitedly as we walked out of the store and into the rest of the mall.

"No, now we need food." I said looked at my phone that told me it was 12:15.

The food court was very crowded today and we were lucky to get seats. We decided to take turns getting food since we didn't want our food taken so we were not finished eating till about 1:25. As we ate Amy and I chatted about what accessories we wanted for out dresses. Amy was completely going with the colors of black, gold and pink for hers while I wanted to keep my colors are silver and gold.

"So 'munch, munch' who are you going to the dance with?" Amy asked while eating her burger.

I froze and look down. Since Luke going to be in Japan a lot longer than he intended. So can't go to the dance. Which means I am pretty much dateless at the moment, which is a bad thing.

"Not sure. I might just go alone." I said shrugging my shoulders.

Suddenly a purse hit my head making me shout in pain.

Grabbing my head with a small tear of pain in my eyes I glared at Amy. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"No girl goes to a dance without a date."

"I went without a date to the Halloween dance."

Another hit to the head. "That was different. Now, you need a date to this one."

"What if-" I stopped when Amy raised her purse. "Alright, alright. Who do you have in mind then?"

"I have an idea, but I am not telling you yet," Amy said smirking evilly. I sweat dropped knowing when Amy got an idea that made her smile like that, it never ended well for me.

After several hours of shopping we finally got back to my place.

I let out an exhausted grunt and laid down on the couch face down.

"How was shopping girls?" My Dad asked from what sounds like the kitchen.

"Iphs waphm horphm," I say but clearly doesn't sound like English to them.

"She says "It was horrible," Amy translates to my parents.

"Oh."
