"Sango…." Shippo said, her name for a long time and he rolled his eyes when the said woman didn't get up fast enough.

"Alright, alright I'm coming, I'll be right there," Sango said, walking to the kitsune who was stuck in between the couch.

"How did you manage to get yourself in this predicament?" Miroku had asked, holding his cup of tea that his beloved had made, also raising a black brow to question the kit who was glaring from under the spot he was trapped in.

"I don't know, just get me out!" the kit balled his hands and his legs flailed crazily, demanding them to lift the couch up and moved so he get out. Sango covered her mouth to not laugh when she watched his tiny fox feet wiggling continuously.

"I wonder if I sat here, would his eyes pop out like one of the angry squishy things that people use when they are upset," Miroku said, putting a finger to his chin to think about it. Sango giggled and shook her head.

"Shippo wouldn't like to be treated as such, isn't that right?" she said smiling.

"Get me out of here!" the kit wailed and groaned when he slammed his small hands on the wooden floor to make his point. He didn't want to be eating dust bunnies from under there. His nose wrinkled and twitched. Oh no, he knew what was next.

"Achoo!"

Sango and Miroku heard the kitsune sneeze and the quickly settled on lifting the couch and once he was free from the crushing couch.

Shippo came out from under the couch and he was coughing wildly. The two adults exchanged worried looks and rushed to help the boy. "Shippo," Sango said, seeing his face turn red.

"What is it," Miroku had asked, but the kit waved him off with a waving a fist in the air, all the while coughing and turning redder than red.

"Shippo…" Sango whispered in fear, what will Inuyasha say. Her eyes widened, it appeared that the kit would faint, what will Inuyasha say! She began to panic when the coughs subsided.

"Stupid dust bunny…." the kit had said.

He just saw them outside of her door. He was just checking on some "emergency" that an elderly lady had just on her floor. He was happy that he'd be able to see her, truthfully he was grinning in happiness just to see her, but that all too soon faded away.

He was angry. No. He was furious. Hands clenched tightly, shaking madly at his sides, he growled. How could that mutt think of kissing her like that. He had just seen him kiss her.

His blue eyes widened, could it be that they were….he shook his head. "No, don't think that, he probably did it to...damn that mutt," he muttered under his breath.

For months he tried to woo her and make her fall for him, but she would just smile in his way, nothing more. Bringing his clenched fist down on the marble table beside him, he growled in anger.

"Damn you Inuyasha," he seethed, snarling in animosity with his teeth gritting like a wild wolf. He hit the marble table once more, but then his posture changed when he noticed Kagome walking into her apartment, but she noticed him before walking in.

She flashed him one of her smiles that would make him smile in return, but he didn't return the smile at all. His eyes were glaring daggers at the hanyō he wanted to fight so badly at the moment.

When Kagome had closed her door, Inuyasha turned around and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He didn't miss the look of triumph on his damn face. Kouga growled,"What the hell are you doing. Stay away from my woman," growling louder when the hanyō didn't bother to turn around to listen.

"Are ya listening you mutt, I said to stay away from my Kagome, because she is-" Kouga was cut off and to his surprise as well.

"Not yours ya mangy wolf," Inuyasha now had his hand holding Kouga by his neck, and just three feet above the floor, his claws just puncturing the wolf's skin only a little.

Kouga tried to claw his way away from him, swiping his own claws at his face, but his hands wouldn't even reach even an inch near the hanyō.

"Nice try, but guess what wolf, you lost a long time ago," Inuyasha said, narrowing his eyes at Kouga that he released - well threw to the side - and made his way to the elevator. "Don't'cha forget it."

Kagome walked in and took off her shoes and placed them next to the door. She made her way to the coat rack and hung her brown jacket and then wrapped her scarf just over it.

"There we go," she muttered, making sure that it wouldn't fall off like the last time. Her clumsiness almost caused her to have a huge bump on the head, when she slipped on her fall scarf before and luckily managed to fall on her rear.

She

Kagome sighed happily and she bellyflopped on her bed, then snuggling her face into her purple pillow.

She was exhausted, partly because of waking up so early in the morning, the other half was because of the chilling-death cold of the winter.

Sighing into her pillow, she closed her eyes just for a few seconds, but sleep over took her energy and she fell. It wasn't until a few minutes after she heard a knocking on her door.

Definitely in a bad mood after being awoken by the noise. Kagome hated it when someone would wake her up. Ah, the memories of when she was in junior high and high school, being woken up by the cries of her brother - when he was younger - and the stupid pink alarm clock.

"I'll be right there," she said, but she covered her mouth when she yawned tiredly.

When she opened the door all her wariness waned away and was replaced by sheer dismay and utter displeasure. "What are you doing here Naraku," she said in monotone.

"Seeing you of course, my how have you grown, I see," Naraku said, his red eyes staring at her with complete lust which made her cringe in disgust.

"Well, it was not nice seeing you, good bye," she closed the door on him, unfortunately for her, he stops it with his foot.

Damn it.

"That wasn't nice," he says softly. Kagome glares at him,"Don't you come in here or I will purify you."

"My, I'm sure you boyfriend doesn't even know he's dating a miko, one of the last ones and you've been hiding really well haven't you," he retorted with a wicked smirk.

"And I don't want to become a damsel in distress so leave now before I seriously get angry," Kagome tells him, she hated the way he looked at her. It made her feel very uncomfortable.

"Ahh the old firey and dangerous Kagome, I wonder where she had gone," Naraku steps up to take a lock of her hair. In instinct, she brought her foot up and hits him in the groin.

"She never left," the raven haired girl says hazardously, slamming the door on his face once again. This time it hit him and sent him flying backwards into the hall.

Kagome huffed and soothed out her clothing,"Now…time to catch up on next weeks paper. I hope Sango doesn't kill me if I have it delayed."

Author's Note

Surely you know that if Inuyasha is a half demon, Kagome must be a miko, I hope you liked it. I'm sorry for the delay, days ago there was an earthquake before I came back to the city that never sleeps, and I was scared to death. Nothing happened to anyone, I'm sure of that, and my flight was delayed a day though. Stupid snow storm… anyways, thank you for reading!

Now, I'm sorry I can't reply today, I have to go to sleep now. It is currently O.O 8:30 - night of course - too early I know but my flight came around three in the morning and I went to school right after arriving, but I did sleep a few hours, but now I'm exhausted. Don't forget to check my profile to see which story I should update next. Until then minna-san!
