A/N: Hello, everybody. I'm back! Anyway, I'm really sorry about the long update. *panting* Gee, I'm really glad that the weather is getting warmer. Don't you? By the way, I have it all ready for chapter 28 which we are now up to. In this chapter, the Springfield Isotots will be playing against the Shelbyville Raptors in the championship game. Another thing, I have two more chapters left until the epilogue. We're getting closer and closer to completion! I'm so excited! But I'm nervous about this chapter. Will the Springfield Isotots win the championship game or will they lose like last time? Well, you're about to find out in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!

Chapter 28

Victory shall be Ours!

We were all cheering for Rod and Todd once they came into the dugout. Most of all, I was very proud of Todd.

"Oh my God, Todd!" I exclaimed happily, as I came over to him. "You were outstanding!"

"We want your autographs!" chanted Sherri and Terri, as they both jumped up and down in enthusiasm. "We want your autographs!"

Suddenly, Milhouse came over to Todd and patted him on his back.

"Welcome to Hollywood, Todd." he said proudly.

Todd couldn't help but chuckle a little. Then, he saw Lisa coming over to him as she wiped her nose with the sleeve of coat once more.

"You've made a female baseball coach happy, Todd." said Lisa proudly.

"Coach Lisa, were you crying?" asked Todd.

Lisa chuckled a little and answered, "No, Todd. I was just so proud of you and Rod singing together."

All of a sudden, we heard Mike clap his hands.

"Ok, kids. Grab your three cookies because the championship game is gonna begin shortly." Mike announced.

We did what we said and went over to collect the cookies from Mike, except Todd.

"Hey, Todd. I'm gonna be in the bleachers with Daddy." said Rod. "Good luck and make us proud."

Once Rod started to leave the dugout, Todd called out, "Thanks, Rod! We'll do the best we can!"

Then, he turned around and saw us eating the cookies. Todd took a cookie from the silver tray that Mike was holding and shoved it into his mouth.

Once he swallowed, Todd went over to a corner and kneeled down. I realized what Todd was going to do and I quickly went over to him.

"Todd, what the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked seriously.

"Uh, Jesus, hallowed be Thy name. May our feet be swift; may our bats be mighty and may our balls be plentiful." prayed Todd loudly.

"Come on, Todd. This is absolutely no time for praying. The frigging game's gonna start soon." I replied impatiently, as I tapped my foot.

Todd ignored me and kept on praying out loud.

"Jesus, please give me and my teammates the ability to defeat the Shelbyville Raptors." he prayed loudly. "We've been practicing very hard every day, especially my good friend, Bart."

My eyes widened in shock when Todd mentioned my name in his prayer. Without looking back, Lisa, Mike and everyone else stared at Todd who was still praying.

"If we win, then I would still like to become a baseball player instead of a priest." Todd prayed loudly. "Ok, I guess that's it. Amen."

Todd stood up and then stared at us for a moment. We were all shocked and didn't say anything until Martin broke the silence.

"Todd, I don't believe it." he said, as his eyes widened.

"What the hell were you doing?" asked Nelson in shock.

"I, um, well, I was, uh…" stammered Todd nervously.

"Come on, Todd. Spit it out!" Janey said impatiently.

"I was praying for us to win." Todd spat out. "Didn't you guys hear me?"

Before one of us could answer, Shelby barged into our dugout and clutched Todd by his baseball uniform and held him up to his face.

"Loud and clear." sneered Shelby mischievously.

"YOU!" I barked furiously, as I pointed my finger at Shelby.

"Well, well, well, look who it is. If it isn't the Springfield Isotots." chuckled Shelby mischievously to us.

"You let Todd go right now, Shelby!" demanded Lisa, burning with anger. "I mean it!"

"And what are you gonna do if I don't?" asked Shelby, with a smirk on his face.

"We'll iron you!" hollered Sherri and Terri.

"I'll chop your head off and use it as a soccer ball!" Allison yelled.

"Please help me!" begged Todd.

"Oh, that's it!" growled Nelson angrily.

He stomped over behind Shelby and gave him a wedgie as he screamed and lost his grip on Todd.

"Now that's the Nelson Muntz I know!" I said proudly.

"Shelby won't be bothering you no more, Flanders." Nelson said to Todd.

"Let me go, ya stupid idiot!" grunted Shelby.

Todd ran over to me just as Shelby wiggled free and marched over to me as he fixed up his underwear.

"Listen here, tubby. This ain't over yet, because we're still better than you." Shelby growled, as he poked his finger into my chest.

"Oh, really? Well, this is our final game and we're gonna do it fair and square like last time." I taunted madly.

"You're going down, Simpson." replied Shelby.

All of a sudden, I began to lose patience as steam poured out of my ears and my head.

"In your dreams, you psycho bitch!" I snarled furiously.

I jumped on top of Shelby and we began to brawl.

"I like catfights now." said Ralph.

"One plus one plus three is five, little Shelby's buried alive!" chanted Janey in a sing-song voice. "He's so neat, he's so sweet. Now the rats have Shelby to eat!"

"Give it to him, Bart!" cheered Milhouse.

Shelby and I were on the floor and the next thing what happened was that we were strangling each other. But without noticing, Lisa and Mike quickly ran over to us.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Guys, guys!" hollered Mike in shock. "Break it up!"

"Stop this right now!" cried Lisa, as she lifted me off of Shelby and held me back.

"Let me go!" shouted Shelby, as he tried to break free from Mike's grip. "I almost had him!"

"Get your goddamn hands off of me!" I screeched, as I tried to break free from Lisa's grip.

"Bart, stop! You have no idea what you're doing!" cried Lisa, as she kept on holding me back.

"Oh-no! Bart's having a panic attack!" screamed Todd. "I gotta do something!"

Then, he saw the silver tray on the table. He quickly went over to it and there were still some cookies on the tray and grabbed one swiftly.

"I know exactly what I'm doing, coach Lisa! Now let me go so I can…" I hollered, but my sentence suddenly got cut off.

"Have a cookie, Bart!" said Todd, as he shoved a cookie into my mouth. "It'll calm you down!"

All of a sudden, I chewed onto the cookie as Lisa released me. Once I swallowed the cookie, I sighed in relief and then looked at Todd.

"May God bless you." Todd said.

"Oh, grow up!" I said, looking all agitated, as I rolled my eyes.

Milhouse went over to Lisa and tugged onto her coat which got her attention.

"Coach Lisa, how long is the game gonna last for?" asked Milhouse curiously.

Lisa stared at us for a short time and replied, "Excuse me for a minute."

She walked over to a bulletin board and took a piece of blue paper off and read it for a minute.

"Well?" Martin said impatiently, as he tapped his foot.

Lisa cleared her throat and then said to us, "According to the schedule, the game is supposed to last for three and a half hours."

"Ay caramba!" I exclaimed. "That's a long time!"

"I could play the sax longer than that." Allison replied.

Lisa rolled her eyes at us and said seriously, "Moving on. We need to win this game and I know you guys have been practicing very hard since we started."

All of a sudden, we heard the Isotots commentator talk over the boom speaker.

"Alright, folks! We are now sending out the Springfield Isotots and the Shelbyville Raptors onto the field!"

"Ok, this is it, everybody." Lisa said in enthusiasm. "Are we ready for this?"

"We sure are!" we all said.

"Hands in." said Lisa, as she put her hand in.

We all put our hands in and we raised them in the air as we announced triumphantly, "Go, Springfield Isotots!"

"Let's do this!" shouted Nelson.

"Victory shall be ours!" I hollered.

"Now get out there and make your coach proud!" Lisa shouted happily.

We all ran out of the dugout and onto the baseball field along with the Shelbyville Raptors as we heard the crowd cheering wildly.

Martin picked up the bat from the home base and watched Shelby throw the baseball up and down, waiting to pitch.

"And now we have Martin Prince up at the bat." said the Isotots commentator.

Shelby pitched the ball over to Martin as hard as he could.

"Here comes the pitch!" the Isotots commentator cried.

Martin hit the ball and began running straight to the first base as he dropped the bat.

"Look at that, folks! Prince is going to first base!" shouted the Isotots commentator.

Martin made it to the first base as he slid roughly.

"And he's safe!"

"Woohoo!" Martin cheered, as he jumped in the air.

Next came Ralph as he ran to the home base and picked up the bat.

"Up next is Ralph Wiggum at the bat." the Isotots commentator announced.

Shelby pitched the ball towards Ralph, but he swung the bat too late and missed.

"Strike one!" called Mike.

All of a sudden, a white butterfly landed on Ralph's foot and he stared at it.

"Ooh, a butterfly!" exclaimed Ralph, looking all surprised.

Before Ralph could bend down to catch the butterfly, it flew away just as he heard a whistle.

"Pay attention, Ralph!" Lisa called.

"Sorry!" he called back.

"Heads up, Springfield baby!" laughed Shelby, as he began to pitch the ball towards Ralph.

This made Ralph mad and shouted, "I am not a Springfield baby!"

Miraculously, Ralph hit the ball on time and started running as Martin began to run to the second base.

"Wow! This is unbelievable! Prince is going for the second base and Wiggum's running to first!" exclaimed the Isotots commentator, looking all surprised.

Martin crashed down at the second base just as Ralph slid to the first base.

"Both players are safe." announced the Isotots commentator.

"Ok, that's good." I said, as I felt sweat running down my back.

"Great job out there, guys!" cheered Lisa proudly.

I took a deep breath and ran to the home base and grabbed the bat.

"Now it's Bart Simpson at the bat." the Isotots commentator said.

Shelby pitched the ball straight at me, but I swung the bat too early and I missed.

"Strike one!" yelled Mike.

"Come on, Bart! Get a homerun!" Todd cheered.

"What the hell are you waiting for?!" hollered Allison.

Shelby chuckled as he pitched the ball at me again. I was about to hit the ball, but I was sweating all over the place and swung the bat too late and missed again.

"Strike two!" Mike announced.

Oh my God! One more strike and I'm out! I thought anxiously. What am I gonna do?

All of a sudden, I heard Babe Ruth's voice in my head.

Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Follow your heart, kid, and you'll never go wrong.

I replayed that in my mind so I could always remember it.

"Game over for you, Simpson!" laughed Shelby evilly.

He pitched the ball once more to me. I wasn't going to give up just yet. Instead, I tightened up my grip on the bat.

"That's what you think, Shelby!" I announced fiercely. "Eat my shorts!"

I hit the ball so hard and started to run without stopping.

"Whoa! Look at him go! Simpson's running like a mad dog!" the Isotots commentator exclaimed.

As I ran through the bases, I saw the ball fly into the air like it has been shot from a cannon.

"It's going, it's going and that ball is gone!" yelled the Isotots commentator in enthusiasm. "Holy crap, now that's what I call a 3-run homerun!"

Martin, Ralph and I ran to the home base one at a time and we heard Lisa and the others cheering for us.

"Great shot!" exclaimed Martin proudly.

"You're amazing, Bart!" said Ralph happily, as he slapped me on my back.

"It was a piece of cake, guys." I replied proudly, as I wiped the dirt off from my baseball uniform.

"Cake?!" Ralph cried in enthusiasm. "Where, where?!"

"It's an expression, you idiot." I said, as I rolled my eyes.

A half hour later, it was the Shelbyville Raptors' turn. Janey locked eyes with Shelby as he tightened his grip on the bat. Then, she pitched the ball towards Shelby and he hit it as the ball went flying in the air. Shelby began running towards the first base without stopping.

"I got it!" cried Terri, as she reached her mitt up.

"No, I got it!" Sherri cried, as she pushed Terri away. "Back off!"

Before the twins could start a fight, Terri caught the ball and pitched it over to Nelson when Shelby slid towards the first base on time.

"You're lucky that you're safe, Shelby, but when we win, you'll be crying like a little baby." said Nelson, joking around.

"Hey, shut the hell up!" yelled Shelby, looking all agitated. "Were you born in a barn?"

"No. Were you born in a dumpster?" Nelson said teasingly.

Suddenly, another Shelbyville Raptor player came over to the home base and picked up the bat.

"Don't try anything stupid." Janey said to the Shelbyville Raptor player.

Janey pitched the ball over to the Shelbyville Raptor player, but he hit the ball over to the right side.

"Foul ball!" Mike called.

He then tossed the ball over to Janey and she caught it on time.

"Come on, Janey! Don't let the other team win!" cheered Lisa.

All of a sudden, Janey quickly shook her head and once again pitched the ball over to the Shelbyville Raptor player, but he swung the bat too early and missed.

"Strike!" hollered Mike.

"That's my mommy!" Ralph said happily, as he pointed his finger at Janey.

"I'm not your mommy, Ralph!" called Janey, looking all agitated.

"Focus!" shouted Lisa.

Janey looked back at the Shelbyville Raptor player and pitched the ball once more. The Shelbyville Raptor missed the ball again as he swung the bat too late.

"You're out!" declared Mike.

"In your face, Shelbyville Raptors!" cackled Janey.

As soon as the Shelbyville Raptor player left, another one came up to the home base and picked up the bat.

"One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready because you suck!" Janey hollered, as she roughly pitched the ball towards the Shelbyville Raptor player.

As a surprise, the player hit the ball so high, he began to run!

"What are we gonna do?! What are we gonna do?!" screamed Sherri and Terri, as they ran around in circles, panicking.

Lisa had to think fast. What if that player hit a homerun and took the lead from us? All of a sudden, a light bulb appeared from the top of Lisa's head!

"Sherri! Terri! Use the buddy jump!" Lisa said quickly.

"Are you crazy?! There's no such thing as a buddy jump!" Terri whimpered.

Lisa saw Shelby running to the third base and the Shelbyville Raptor to the second base as sweat ran down her back.

"Just do it!" commanded Lisa.

Sherri and Terri looked at each other for a second and then Sherri climbed onto Terri's shoulders as Terri held her sister's feet.

"Three, two, one! Go!" they counted down.

Terri threw Sherri high in the air and the crowd gasped, including us.

"Madre de Dios!" I exclaimed.

"What kind of a move is that?!" asked Shelby, as he ran through the third base and straight to the home base.

"Come on, Sherri. Please catch it." said Terri nervously, as her fingers were crossed.

"Come on, Sherri! You can do it!" Milhouse cheered.

Just as we were beginning to think that all was lost, Sherri caught the ball with her mitt miraculously!

"I got it!" shouted Sherri proudly.

All of a sudden, she began to fall down to the ground!

"Oh-no!" she screamed.

Terri quickly held out her arms and luckily, she caught Sherri just in time before she could get hurt.

"Oh my God! Now that's what I call a special buddy jump!" announced the Isotots commentator happily.

Suddenly, Sherri and Terri saw Shelby running closer and closer to the home base. Sherri quickly pitched the ball over to Todd and he caught the ball and tagged Shelby out.

"You're out!" Mike yelled.

We all began to cheer.

"Yeah! We're doing better!" cheered Milhouse happily.

"Oh, yeah! Now what?! Now what?!" laughed Lisa.

Shelby pushed himself up and said to Todd, "This is not over yet, Flanders! We're still number one!"

"Yeah, well, keep dreaming!" Todd declared.

Almost three and a half hours later, I was sitting on the benches with all my friends. I could see the scoreboard and our score was tied with the Shelbyville Raptors. It was 19-19.

"Ok, everybody. The game's almost over and you have been doing an excellent job out there." announced Lisa seriously, as she came over to us.

"Coach Lisa?" moaned Ralph, as he held his stomach.

"What is it, Ralph?" asked Lisa, as she sighed.

"I can't play because I'm too juiced again." explained Ralph, as he held up a bunch of empty orange juice boxes.

"What?!" we all cried in shock.

"Ralph, again?!" I screamed.

"What are you crazy?!" exclaimed Todd.

"Just play without me." Ralph moaned.

Suddenly, without warning, Ralph fell off the bench and fainted!

"Ralph, no!" cried Sherri and Terri.

"Aw, crap! Without Ralph, the game's over!" screeched Milhouse, as he buried his hands into his face.

"We're gonna lose like last time! I just know it!" Martin wailed.

"Guys, guys, let's just calm down now." said Lisa calmly, but her tone was firm.

"We can't calm down, coach Lisa!" shouted Allison.

"Can't you see we're in a middle of a panic attack here?!" yelled Janey, panicking.

"I think I need a lawyer." replied Nelson nervously.

"What the hell are we gonna do?!" I yelled.

"It's hopeless! We're dead meat!" Todd wailed.

We all broke into war cries as we shouted and it was very loud than the crowd in the bleachers. Lisa's anger began to rise and could not take it anymore as she finally lost patience.

"SHUT UP!" Lisa screamed furiously at the top of her lungs, as she stomped her foot.

We all stopped shouting and stared at Lisa startled and we became dead quiet, stunned.

Once Lisa quickly calmed down, she stated calmly, "Thank you."

We looked at each other and didn't say anything else.

Lisa took a deep breath and began to walk up and down as she said seriously to us, "Look. It's the final round of the game and we're tied with the Shelbyville Raptors. We have to find a way to win before it's too late."

"Like what, steal home?" asked Todd.

All of a sudden, Lisa's eyes widened in shock.

"Steal home." she murmured softly.

Without warning, she snapped her fingers and exclaimed, "Todd, that's it!"

"What? What did I say?" Todd said curiously.

"Huh? What?" murmured Ralph, as he stood himself up. "What'd she say? I didn't hear it."

"Todd, if you steal home, we win the game." replied Lisa, as she quickly placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Oh, come on, Todd. Don't listen to coach Lisa." I said, as I rolled my eyes. "It's not gonna work like last time."

"Yes, it will, Bart." Lisa said to me. "Just remember; The first pitch is for the runner to get the timing down at the last minute."

"Maybe I can do it." Allison chimed in.

Todd exhaled and said, "Alright, I'll do this for my mothers."

"But what if we lose?" asked Ralph nervously.

Lisa stared at us for a minute and then answered, "Then we'll have to say goodbye and go through our separate ways."

"Are you out of your mind, people?! There's no saying goodbye and we are not going through our separate ways!" hollered Todd, as he stood up on the bench. "Nothing is over until I say it's over! Allison and I are gonna get out on the field and kick Shelby's butt right now!"

There was a moment of stunned silence until Janey started slowly clapping her hands. Then, Milhouse started to do it along with Sherri and Terri, Nelson, Allison, Martin, Ralph, Lisa and me.

"Yeah, yeah, that's right!" said Todd, as a smile came up upon his face. "Now we're talking!"

"Now that's the Todd Flanders I'd like to see!" said Lisa proudly.

"Come with me, Todd." said Allison, as she held out her hand. "We have a game to finish!"

"With pleasure!" Todd replied, as he took Allison's hand.

Then, they both ran out of the dugout and onto the field.

"Good luck out there!" I called.

Once Todd grabbed the bat from the home base, he locked eyes with Shelbyville Martin as he tossed the ball up and down.

Then, Shelbyville Martin pitched the ball at Todd, but he hit it over to the left side.

"Foul ball!" shouted Mike.

"Are you kidding me, Todd?!" I called, looking all agitated. "You can do better than that!"

Suddenly, Todd began to sweat. He looked at Shelbyville Martin again as he prepared to pitch the ball once more.

He quickly shook his head and got a hold of himself.

"Two can play at that game!" declared Todd.

Shelbyville Martin pitched the ball again and luckily, Todd hit it and began to run!

"Alright, Todd!" cheered Allison happily, as she jumped in the air.

Todd ran to the first base and then straight to the second base as fast as he could go.

Meanwhile, Shelby was trying to catch the ball that was flying in the air as he ran around.

"Come on, come on!" Shelby exclaimed nervously.

Todd quickly turned his head around to look at Shelby, but then back to the second base.

Just keep running, Todd. he thought to himself.

Then, the baseball dropped down to the ground as Shelby failed to catch it. Then, he picked it up.

Todd panted as he got closer to the second base.

"You can make it, Flanders!" cheered Nelson loudly.

"You're almost there, Todd! Don't stop!" Lisa shouted in enthusiasm.

With another pant, Todd immediately dove for the second base just as Shelby tossed the ball over to the Shelbyville Raptor player.

"Please make it, Todd. Please." begged Milhouse softly, as he had his fingers crossed.

All of a sudden, Todd landed roughly at the second base just seconds before the Shelbyville Raptor player could catch the ball.

"Flanders is safe." stated the Isotots commentator.

"Yes!" I shouted happily.

"Coach Lisa, what do I do now?" called Todd, as he pushed himself up.

"Just stay where you are!" called Lisa. "Don't do anything yet!"

"Ok!" Todd called back.

Allison went over to the home base and picked up the bat.

"And now it's Taylor up at the bat." announced the Isotots commentator.

Allison smiled and winked at Todd.

"What the hell is she doing?" I asked impatiently.

Allison exhaled and then pointed to the bleachers.

"What?! Taylor's pointing to the bleachers!" cried the Isotots commentator.

All of a sudden, the crowd began to clap and stomp their feet as they went wild.

"Unbelievable! They're on their feet here, stomping and clapping at the same time!" the Isotots commentator exclaimed.

Allison rubbed her foot gently against the dirt and tightened up her grip on the bat.

"Taylor waits at the plate." the Isotots commentator said.

Todd took two steps away from the second base sideways, but Shelbyville Martin noticed him.

"Shelbyville Martin is at the belt, but Flanders is away from the second base."

Then, Shelbyville Martin looked back at Allison and prepared to toss the ball over to her.

"Now, Todd!" yelled Lisa.

"Here comes the 1-1 pitch." said the Isotots commentator.

Todd began to run to the third base just as Shelbyville Martin pitched the ball straight at Allison.

"I think this is it, guys." Martin said anxiously.

"Go, Todd! Go!" I cheered loudly.

Instead of swinging the bat, Allison shortened up the bat and bunted Shelbyville Martin's pitch.

"Taylor bunts!" cried the Isotots commentator, looking all stunned.

"Ay caramba." I said quietly, looking all surprised.

"No one messes with the Shelbyville Raptors!" screamed Shelby madly.

Shelby charged towards the ball frantically while Allison ran towards the first base and her baseball cap fell off without noticing.

"Let's go, Allison!" Lisa cheered excitedly.

Todd ran closer and closer to the third base while Shelby picked up the ball and tossed it over to the other Shelbyville Raptor player as he prepared to catch it, but Allison made it to the first base before the player could catch the ball.

"Taylor is safe." announced the Isotots commentator.

Todd ran past the third base and began running towards the home base.

"Flanders is around third!" exclaimed the Isotots commentator excitedly. "He's gonna try to steal home!"

"If he makes it, that's my brother!" cheered Rod happily.

All of a sudden, Todd noticed Shelby catching the ball from the Shelbyville Raptor player as he got closer to the home base.

"Oh-no! I'm not gonna make it!" cried Todd.

"My purpose in life is to witness this moment." I replied nervously.

"Oh, dear God, I can't look!" whimpered Milhouse, as he turned away.

"Me neither!" screamed Nelson, as he covered his eyes.

"Us too!" Sherri and Terri hollered anxiously.

"Come on, Todd. You can do this." Lisa prayed out loud.

Todd huffed and puffed as he ran with all his might towards the home base while Shelby prepared to throw the ball.

"Here comes the throw!" the Isotots commentator announced.

"Please, please, please, please, please, please…" begged Ned quietly, as he had his fingers crossed.

Shelby threw the ball at the home base, but Todd slid his foot at the home plate just in time!

"He slides! And he is…" the Isotots commentator shouted.

"Safe! Safe!" announced Mike, as he whipped his palms apart.

All of a sudden, I checked the scoreboard and our score was 20-19! We all began to cheer.

"Yeah!" I cheered happily, as I threw my fist in the air.

"Huh? Did I make it?" asked Todd, as he looked all around.

Then, Mike helped Todd up from the ground and said proudly, "Yes, you did, son."

"The Springfield Isotots win it! The Springfield Isotots win it!" cheered the Isotots commentator happily. "Oh my God, the Springfield Isotots win the championship game!"

"Yes! I did it!" cheered Todd happily, as he jumped in the air. "I stole home!"

Suddenly, we ran towards Todd as we cheered for him.

"Yeah! We won the game!" shouted Nelson happily. "We won the game!"

"You did it, Todd!" Rod cheered happily.

Sherri and Terri carried a bucket of green tea behind Lisa, carefully not to spill.

"Special delivery for the world's best baseball coach!" said Sherri and Terri happily.

Together, they poured out all of the green tea over Lisa as she laughed.

"Way to go, Todd!" said Janey proudly, as she hugged Todd tightly.

"I knew you could do it!" Allison said happily, as she hugged Todd next.

Todd broke free from the hug and ran over to me, threw his arms around me and hugged me very tight.

"We did it, Bart!" Todd laughed happily. "We did it!"

I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, so I gave him a hug back.

"No, Todd. You did it." I chuckled proudly.

Suddenly, Lisa came over to us as tears streamed down her face. I could tell that she was crying all over again.

"Uh, coach Lisa?" I said, as my smile faded away.

"Why are you crying?" asked Todd.

"First of all, I'm crying tears of joy." sobbed Lisa happily. "Second of all, the way that you stole home was unbelievable, Todd. I thought you weren't gonna make it, but you did!"

"Oh, come here, you." I cackled a little, as I gave Lisa a hug.

All of a sudden, Shelby stomped over to us and he looked mad.

"That's not fair! You cheated!" Shelby yelled angrily.

"We didn't cheat, Shelby. Cheating is a sin. We played fair and square." said Todd honestly, before turning to us. "Right, guys?"

"Yeah!" we answered honestly all at once.

Suddenly, Shelby reached out to grab Todd by his baseball uniform, but he never got the chance to as I punched him right in the face and he fell to the ground backwards.

"Aargh! You stupid bastard!" groaned Shelby furiously.

"That's enough with that." I said, with a smirk on my face.

Then, we all laughed for a moment.

"Good guy wins, bad guy loses." said Ralph.

Shelby pushed himself back up just as his friends came over to him.

"We demand a rematch now!" commanded Shelby angrily.

"Sorry, Shelby. But the game's over. Look." said Lisa, as she pointed to the scoreboard.

Shelby looked at the scoreboard for a long time until his eyes began to bulge and steam poured out of his head and ears.

"God damn it!" barked Shelby furiously, as he threw his baseball cap to the ground. "We were so close to winning!"

"Well, if that's the case, then I'm gonna go celebrate with my friends." stated Todd.

"Yeah, smell ya later, you ugly bitch." said Nelson.

Everyone else and I started to leave the field without turning back.

"Hey, where the hell do you think you're going?! I'm not done with you yet! Come back here!" shouted Shelby.

"We're done with you, Shelby!" I shouted back.

We all made it back to the entrance of the stadium, all talking at once.

"Well, now that we won the championship game, where should we go to celebrate?" Allison replied curiously.

"I know! Party at Luigi's!" yelled Milhouse happily.

"Oh, yeah!" we all cheered happily.

A/N: Woohoo! I'm so happy that the Springfield Isotots won the championship game! Well, chapter 28 is finally over and once again, I am extremely sorry about this long update. You know, once I finish this second story, I think I'm going to take a break from it. I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and please review! (Or don't.) I can't promise you when chapter 29 will be up, but all I know is that this story is almost over and I can hardly wait!

THANK YOU & T.T.F.N.: Ta-ta for now!
