Well I would say what it was, but I'll let you guys read for yourselves where Zelda, Link and Midna are going to meet XD
Thanks to Arison Nakaru, Winter Arctica and Zelda's Spirit93 and the anons that unfortunately I know as: "need help", "Zeldafan55", and "huh" for their ideas for this chapter.

Chapter 28: So what now?
"In Din's Name..."
Purple laced blue eyes continued to stare up at the ceiling, the wolf on top of the tight ropes, both have seemed to have noticed her too when their almost glowing eyes stared down at the brunet, but for the moment, the only thing that the princess would only see is the ill state that her friend is in.
"Midna..." She whispered, her eyes wincing slightly when she saw the small Twili try to lift her head, but she ended up just falling back onto Link's back again. Zelda had to shake her head from the action, she instantly stood from her seat. Link made a small motion with his head to his side, the princess's gaze followed where he indicated, and saw a small open passage on the farthest top corner of the bar.
Zelda gave a quick nod and scanned the room, seeing the other occupants of the room were busy with their own things, even Shad, who now dug his nose back inside the book, he held a quill, quickly writing his notes on a thin notebook.
At the corner of her eye she saw Link continue his way towards the passage; she waited patiently, in case if she spoke with Telma about the passage, she would most likely tell where it is and point in that direction, thus spotting Link. Once he was practically already on the other side, the transformed Hylian made another motion before moving his way in the seemingly dark passage.
With his disappearance, Zelda made her way towards the bar tender.
"You okay sweet-pea, you look pale?" Telma asked; gazing over Zelda's features.
"I'm alright, I was only wondering, you said that there was a passage towards the castle am I correct?" At that the red-headed bar tender nodded.
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"It's that I need to make my way to the castle without gaining attention." The brunet admitted, not necessarily completely lying. She did need to leave the bar without anyone seeing her.
"Honey, it's connected to the waterway, it hasn't been used for quite some time, possibly years. Not to mention it's raining, shouldn't it be best to wait it out?" Telma asked raising a slender brow.
"It's fine, the thing is it's an emergency I must attend to, and it requires me to go to the castle." Zelda blinked, wondering if this small truth stretch would convince the bar owner, and would allow her to pass through. But Telma let out a long sigh, that wasn't good...
"Honey, I understand you must be desperate to return to the castle, but surely it can-"
"I'm afraid it cannot." Zelda interrupted, causing her to blink at the slight harshness she added in her words. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...-"
However Telma smiled. "It's understandable, you must be desperate."
"Yes, that's it." Zelda admitted softly, a large worried smile brazing her lips.
Telma matched her smile. "Alright, I'll settle a small group-" But the princess cut her off again.
"No. No, it's alright, I need to work in secret; alone."
There was a pregnant pause, Telma stared at the younger woman, there was something going on, and most likely it was something that the royal didn't want anyone to know. It did make her wonder, just what in Hyrule is the royal hiding?
"Alright, if you say so sweet pea. There's an opening above there that you can go through, the waterway is a bit rough so be careful." The bar tender warned.
Now that made the princess grin. "Thank you. I will."
Zelda didn't waste any time as she gathered her stuff and cloak and continued her way up towards the passage way. She had to use the nearby table to reach above level floor. With a small jump and the use of her upper body strength she managed to reach the upper floor.
Aldro watched the royal go to the top and disappear through the passage.
"Where is she headed?" The knight asked turning to the red headed woman.
"To the castle." She cleaning a cup with a white handkerchief.
"Alone? Shouldn't we follow her?!" The male asked worryingly.
"Yes..." Telma admitted, "but we cannot disobey the princess's decision."
Now that made Aldro lower his head. For goodness sake, out of all the times, why did the law have to occur now... with a long sigh he sat back down on his chair.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure the princess will be fine. I can tell she has a warrior's heart." Ashei said, bringing the bottle down on the table.
"How can you tell?" The dark haired knight faced the armored female.
"When you've trained hard almost your entire life and meet others who do the same as I have, you start to realize the type of stance of others that shows their training and strength. The princess isn't weak, you can tell that she's been trained for this." The female blackett said, closing her eyelids and leaning back to her chair.
"Are you sure?" Shad asked, bringing his head from the book and facing his companion.
Ashei didn't even open her dark eyes. "Trust me on this guys, she's going to be alright."
Aldro blinked in confusion at her words. This woman didn't know a single thing about the princess, yet she is openly saying to him not to worry...? Just...
"Trust me." Ashei said once again her brown eyes still hidden behind her eyelids.
Aldro looked down; in all honest sense, he really didn't know what to think...
0o0
It was cold to say the least, yet the princess didn't even shiver at the the temperature's touch on her skin. She's been in and out of the center of Snowpeak in the heart of a storm. If she could handle that, she can handle this.
Zelda barely managed to catch up with her transformed companion inside a magenta, red and gold colored room. Her eyes scanned around, noticing the mess of gold and other jewels scattered on the floor, with parts of the ceiling fallen as well. Ornamented with ripped scarlet curtains and spiderwebs on almost every corner of the small room.
Zelda had to blinked a few times the moment she saw what looked like a golden statue sitting on a red velvet and wood throne-like chair.
"Link." She whispered, catching the wolf's attention who looked away from the statue to her.
"Another one? Doggie is she a friend of yours?" A muffled voice asked, causing the princess to almost jump out of shock and bring out her silver dagger. But Link stood right besides her, nudging his head at her leg gently.
Zelda faced the wolf incredulously, before he motioned his head towards a certain direction. Purple orbs turned towards the gold statue, before those same orbs widened in surprise as the rupee blue eyes glowed into a faint red and dimmed for every word he spoke, certainly because he wasn't able to move his own lips, the jewel eyes glowed to indicate his speech.
"My name is Jovani." He stated his eyes glowing again. "I... became consumed by greed long ago, and sold my soul to the dark creature that did this to me..."
Zelda blinked, she could have sworn when saw as if the jeweled eyes desperately wanted to cry, despite nothing coming outside of them. However the next thing he did shocked them the diminutive, golden man began bawling.
"I can't Move...! I can't go see my girlfriend...! My pet cat Gengle is frozen on my head!" Zelda eyes could only water just by the sound of his voice.
"My goddess..." She whispered.
"I don't think I can't be anymore miserable...!" If Jovani could move, he would crawl into a ball and just sob, and sob...
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Zelda asked, momentarily forgetting about Midna. (NOTE 1)
There was a stale silence. "You... w-would help me?" He snuffled.
Both the wolf and disguised princess nodded. Though neither can see it, they could almost sense a bright smile on him. "Then would you be able to find and defeat 20 Poes that lurk in the dark for me? I think if you do that, pieces of my soul and real body would be free. I beg you can you do it for me?!" He pleaded his voice strong with hope.
Neither of the two resented to help so both nodded.
"Oh Thank you! Here I'll help you get out of here, it's raining right now, so I don't think you can go outside directly. I'll open the door to the underground waterway for you two...-" He quirked his blue jeweled eyes now shinning a type of green light. Then suddenly a nearby red and gold treasure chest opened automatically.
"Once the rain stops, you can come back in here by digging around the front wall where the cats gather... understand, Doggie and uh...?"
"Sheik." Zelda answered.
"And Sheik. Thank you both." He said desperately, seeing both the wolf and the women already make their way to the chest.
-Zelda should I go first?- Link asked, knowing that the golden man wouldn't be able to understand him at all.
Zelda half nodded upon seeing the darkness that crept down the red chest.
Link then climbed up at the corners of the scarlet chest; he sunk in and fell through the red chest. The brunet lowered the side of her head, placing her Elvin ear close to the dark depths and waited. After about three seconds, she heard a loud splash; Link didn't reply but the sound of more splashes occurred right after.
Knowing that Link was okay down there, she mimicked the same action; the royal brought in her arms close to her body just before she dropped in feet first. The drop was dark enough that the princess couldn't see a thing, and the smell of mold and mildew was strong, and small droplets of water sprinkled over her frame as she fell closer to the bottom. But it wasn't long until Zelda was able to see light at the bottom.
The water level reached down to her waist just when a mass splash her in the face, causing her to slide downwards to her right, it wasn't soft either as she felt her back getting rippled with cracks and bumps along the concrete slide. And the timing was very unexpected when suddenly she felt her head submerge under ice cold water.
Fear plagued her as the princess frantically swatted her arms around. However, something quickly grabbed a hold of her by her vest as she was dragged up to the surface. Before she even knew it she was grasping to an edge, slouching over it for a quick breath.
-Are you okay?- Link asked worryingly coming close to her, nudging her with his snout.
"...Yeah." Zelda coughed, before pulling herself out of the water. She barely got to her hands and knees to cough up any water that managed to slip in her throat when a small thud landed to her side.
"Midna..." Zelda blinked seeing the weaken Twili on the stone floor, she didn't stay there, she slowly moved to the fallen Twili, carefully extending a hand to her.
"-Please..." Midna panted softly, the effort to speak was obviously costing her energy.
Link closed in to the two females, worry evident in his furry face.
"-Please tell me... how do we break... the curse on this one?-" Midna asked barely lifting her head towards the princess.
Zelda softly sandwiched Midna's shaking hand between her own.
"-This... is the one...-" The Twili coughed, struggling to muster her words, her eyes gazing to Link weakly. "-You need him... to save your world. That's why... Princess... please.. you must him Link..."
Link arched his eyebrows in worry, seeing the Twili in such a state. He let out a small whine in worry. It's the first time Midna ever said his name like that.
Zelda felt the tears burn in the back of her eyes. But she didn't dare let them lose, she couldn't, not now... She closed both violet laced blue eyes and turned towards the wolf. Noticing that his attention remained on the Twili.
"...Please..." She whispered desperately at the princess.
Zelda slowly opened her eyes. "Alright..." She whispered, slowly letting go of Midna's hand and held it front of Link, swaying it slowly side to side over Link's form, her tri-force glowing gently. She cold feel the mass of energy inside of Link, at the peak of the energy, her hand remained still close to his head.
*It's strongest at his forehead...* She thought, before a small cackle of energy hit the base of her spine. Her eyes widening at the feeling, her frame almost shivering at the dark mass of energy that almost struck at her once again, she retracted her hand from the wolf as he was made of fire. This is definitely not the work of twilight curtain...
She opened her eyes; looking at her now wolf companion.
"What binds him is a different magic then what transformed him when he first passed the curtain of twilight. It is an evil power." Zelda explained, her purple eyes moving back at Midna.
"Our world is one of balance. Just as there is light to drive away darkness, so too, is there benevolence to banish evil. We need to head for the Sacred Grove that lies deep within Faron Woods." The maiden said, closing her eyes slightly recalling the small memories of the Forest Temple and Rosy.
"There should lie the blade of evil's bane that was crafted by the wisdom of the sages and forged by the original Hyrule's hero. The Master Sword." (NOTE 2)
-How would that help us?- Link asked, his eyes momentarily moving the princess.
"The Master Sword is a sacred blade that evil can never touch. Evil cloaks you Link like a dark veil... and that blade is the only thing that can cleave it... Link, you were chosen by the goddesses." Her eyes trailed to her own hand before revealing it to both.
"Just like I have been as well."
-Triforce...?- Link mumbled, before moving to his paw, the faint dark gold color of the three triangles still remained there, visible to anyone's eyes.
"Fine... Link, Zelda... you guys can... get to the woods on your own right?" Midna asked, her voice severely much weaker than before.
The Hyrulian Princess faced down at the smaller being. "Midna..."
"I have one last request, Zelda... can you... tell him where to find the m-Mirror of Twilight...?"
Zelda breathed in heavily, her purple eyes wide and round from the question. "Midna..."
Her eyes trailed to Link, who gave her a confused look.
The princess sighed deeply, lowering her head. "I believe I understand now just who you are... Despite your mortal injuries you act in our stead..."
"These dark times are the result of our deeds, yet it is you who have reaped the penalty. Accept this now, Midna. I pass it to you..." She said one last time before shutting her eyes softly, conjuring her own energy outside of her.
Midna gasped seeing the soft light energy that suddenly started to evaporate from the princess the small beads of the light moving and sticking onto Midna. Midna could vaguely see the golden Triforce on the brunet's hand glow, passing on the power of the goddess's protect to her; at the same time making Midna glow in a soft white light.
"No...! Link! STOP HER!-" The Twili cried, feeling her energy come back to her.
Link eye's widen the moment he saw the smaller being float up above them; seeing the princess giving Midna one last smile before she herself stared to glow, but unlike the twilight being, Zelda stated to fade instead of getting more solid.
"z-Zelda No!" Midna screamed, feeling the tears wanting to fall out. She floated higher as her small hand slipped out of both of Zelda's with the power that she was bestowed upon.
Before anyone else knew it, a bright light covered the entire room. Link blinked harshly just before the light dimmed down, now seeing Midna lower back to the ground, her original pigmentation returning like when she first appeared before him. Her strength whole.
Midna's single visible red eye open before her. She felt her body feel numb with regret and sympathy.
*Why did you do it... Zelda...?* She thought sadly, her eyebrows arching in worry.
She vaguely felt the wolf nudge her. Red orbs stared at her hand before she gripped it and twisted her features for a moment.
"-We go back, Link! Back to Faron Woods!-" She spoke fiercely, looking at the wolf.
The Twili was about to jump onto the wolf, had it not been for the light that shone before them.
"What in the-?" But Midna never got to finish her sentence the moment the light dimmed down, on the floor. There on the stone floor remained a single white owl. The familiar blue hinted feathers long strand of feather connected to a single silver hoop that stayed visible to the duo.
"-ZELDA!-" Both screamed darting towards the transformed Hylian. The white owl was unconscious, her laced purple eyes closed.
-Is she okay- Link asked desperately. Midna picked up the bird gingerly, feeling the bird's chest move slowly, but steady. Making the small girl let out a large sigh of relief.
"She's okay." Midna smiled, hugging the small bird softly. Link also gave out a long sigh of relief, that's good news... Navi floated towards the snowy white owl, hovering over her.
Link tilted his head, even as a wolf he tried to smile, but it came out rather sharp and gummy, but he didn't care. The little blue sprite always came around when someone was injured, and he appreciated it greatly that Navi was around Zelda when she needed it.
"Let's take her the spirit's spring." Midna stated giving Link a knowingly look. Link didn't bother to hesitate when the girl jumped onto his back with Zelda in her arms before she teleported them outside. The rain had gradually stopped by the morning.
"Let's go." Midna started, the wolf never hesitated and ran forward.
But a harsh almost threatening rumble stopped both of them. Both head faced towards castle town, but when they did a large dark golden barrier blinked before them.
Midna's and Link's eyes widened at the sight, seeing that the golden barrier solidified, becoming so that no one would be able to enter inside.
-What in Hyrule...!?- But no one answered that question when the barrier glowed one last time before remaining in a solid state.
No one can enter or leave the castle now...
Midna felt anger course through her small body, as a small fang remained itself matching with her tightening fist. She wasn't the only one as Link growled with rage at the barrier.
"This is not going to happen." Midna said to herself, the grip over her fist lessening, her single eye looking down at the resting owl.
*We'll help you Zelda... that's a promise...* She thought hugging the owl a bit more tightly. Link gave the Twili a small look, noticing the sadden expression on her face. But she quickly shook it off before positioning herself better on his long back.
"Let's get going."
-Right!- The wolf agreed taking a small dash ahead.
0o0
Link managed to get over the bridge of Hylia before Midna conjured enough strength to transport them to Lake Hylia, where the wolf made another dash towards the spirit's spring.
-Lanayru...?- The wolf started walking a bit around the lake's edge, but so far nothing happened.
"Spirit of the spring, we need your help? Please... the princess of Hyrule needs it." Midna called out, using the spirit's title for extra measures.
But still nothing occurred. Link barked loudly,
-PLEASE!- He shouted. -We need your help! Zelda Needs Your Help!- He shouted, his patience running thin. He's always been patient when it came to almost anything, but with Zelda's condition he would have no prolongation to Zelda's needed aid at all.
Finally, a blinding light appeared before them. The familiar golden orb floating above the spring before quickly but elegantly the spirit revealed herself.
"I'm sorry... let me help you." She said as three fairy-sized white orbs and headed towards the three. Once upon contact they entered inside the trio. Link instantly felt of buildup of energy course inside of him, and any pain that he contained simmered down to nothing.
"It shall heal any injuries that you may have come across. As well as protect you for a short amount of time before your journey. It's by far the most I can do at the moment." The spirit snake said, lowering her golden head slightly.
"When the king of the darkness attacked, he weaken my power, I still need some time to recover my energy." She admitted her gaze never leaving the mortals. Instantly Link lowered his own, feeling a bit guilty at his hasten actions.
"Shall you ever need any time to heal, do not hesitate to visit me or the other spirits to heal you." She said softly before evaporating from the two's eyes.
Link gazed up at Midna as she did the same. "How do you feel?"
-I'm good...- His sharp blue gaze turned to Zelda, who still was accompanied by Navi.
-I don't know about her though... how long until she will wake?-
Now Midna did't have an answer for that. She honestly didn't know, but she hoped it was soon, she didn't know if she would be able to last long until her friend would wake.
But in truth, she felt rather guilty, she practically took everything that Zelda had to give, yet she didn't want it... If she could she would return everything that Zelda gave her, her protection, her light back in a heartbeat.
But the question remained as to how would she be able to do so...?
-Midna...?- Link called his blue eyes boring to her red one.
-Should we get going?- The wolf asked, tilting his head.
"Yeah..." The twili grabbed a hold over Zelda's now tiny frame in her arms and jumped onto Link's back.
"I'll transport you to Faron Woods, it would be much quicker that way." Midna said, and with a quick snap of her fingers Link felt his entire body dissolve into tiny bits and before anyone even knew it he was already in a warmer and dryer place than in Lake Hylia.
...
No mater how many times he walked through this forest, there was never a time when there didn't remain how many forest animals or new monsters that would be inside this lush green place.
Link took the small chance to get to look at the formed tree again. In all honest sense, when he first came to this place, he didn't actually get the chance to actually take a good look at the intricate design that the forest temple had to offer. If anything it was actually rather beautiful and had the right to be admired at to a fault.
However that admiration had to come to a stop when a loud squeak pleading for help came to his side. A mass of gray jumped right in front of transformed hero; only for Link to actually realize it was a monkey. But that's not what really caught his attention, it was the group of what looked like wooden... puppets...? Surrounding the the poor monkey.
The monkey cowered down in desperate attempt to hide from the puppets.
The wolf took a small gander just when he saw why the monkey lowered down in deference. Those wooden puppets had glowing red eyes that shouted death, and sharp un-orderly teeth and claws that looked like it would rip the skin off of any animal that it took a bite/scratch out of.
Link took immediate action and charged at the puppets as soon as one of them lifted a claw. Neither of the wooden foes saw it coming before a sharp set of fangs bit into the first one. Unlike all the other foes that he faced before, these didn't release any form of blood, in fact nothing was remained inside them. They were hallow, and his bite simply left bite piercing inside their empty shell-like bodies.
With a single bite the one that Link sunk his fangs into had already fell limp in his mouth, he opened his jaw and let it fall to floor, however unlike the blood, the wooden puppet did start to burn into nothing like all the other monsters he and Zelda faced before.
With the loss of one comrade the other puppets sprung into action and directed their attacks to Link, but the transformed Hylian didn't stop there when he suddenly spun around, similarly like when he does his spin attack; his powered mouth and leg muscles struck down the wooden puppets. Neither one of the soulless puppets had stood a chance against his attack.
Link walked very slowly at the still scared monkey, but upon a few more steps he saw the red rose on the monkey's ear.
-Rosie?- He asked tilted his head in confusion.
At the sound of her name she looked up, only to give a small squeak. -I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!- She squealed returning back to her previous stance.
-Don't worry, I won't hurt you, or eat you...- He said almost grimacing at the word.
Now that made Rosie stop quivering and look up at the transformed Hylian.
-Huh? You won't?- She tilting her head at the wolf, noticing the blue eyes of the wolf. -Then... where you the one to saved me?- She asked looking more into the wolf's body, Link nodded.
-Thank You!- She squeaked.
Link tried to smile, but when the monkey took another step back; he quickly closed his mouth, forgetting all that she would see are the sharp wolf fangs.
-Sorry- He said, lowering his head slightly.
-No worries- She said, still taking a small step back. -Anyways, you look rather familiar...- She said still looking at the wolf, mostly at his eyes.
-And you smell a lot like that green Prince that helped me and my friends- She said taking a small whiff of him. (NOTE 3)
Now that made Link laugh, though it did sound weird and sounded like a series of snorts and whines inside the attempted laugh, causing Rosie to tilt her head in confusion.
-You thought I was a prince?- He asked still chuckling.
Rosie took a small step back. -Wait you were him!?- She asked her gold eyes wide.
Realizing what he said the wolf stopped laughing, and stared at her.
-Whoops... well uh, yeah I was, well... am- Link said sheepishly.
Midna sighed rolling her eyes. "Way to go hero." She said a small smile on her face.
Rosie took another whiff and stared at him before she managed to connect two and two. -You Are Him!- She squeaked happily jumping.
-This is so cool! I never got to thank you enough for yours and that princess's help!- Rosie said still jumping, not realizing just how accurate she was with Zelda's title.
-It wasn't a problem, I was happy to help, how is everyone anyways?- He asked.
-Everyone is great, and Leri, our Alpha, is great, he's been much better since you helped him- She said happily. -And guess what! He asked me to his mate! I was so happy that I can scream!- She did a single flip to show her enthusiasm. (NOTE 4)
Now it was Link's turn blink in surprise. -Wow that's amazing Rosie, I'm happy for you-
-So am I! Oh, um... Listen, let me tell you something else, There's a really pretty wooded area on the other side of this cliff! I climbed over there, but when I tried to get deeper into the woods, THOSE guys attacked me!- She started looking over her shoulder.
-I wonder what in those woods anyways?- She pondered looking back at the transformed Hylian.
-I'll go check it out, I need to see something anyways- He said already making his way, -make sure to stay out of trouble Rosie, It was great seeing you again- Link finished already walking towards his way.
-It's great to see you too! Make sure to come visit us anytime- Rosie yelled waving a hand at him.
Link nodded and continued his trail.
"Just what were you guys talking about anyways?" Midna asked leaning into close to Link's head, making him remember that unlike Zelda, Midna didn't understand animals, unless they were originally Human or Hylian. (NOTE 5)
-Just what was going on a bit about life in the forest- He said, making Midna leaned back with a dull expression.
"You pretty much make friends wherever you go, don't you."
Link only shrugged.
0o0
"Who would have thought there was more to this forest huh?" Midna asked taking a small look around the small gorge that remained behind them. But Link hardly paid much attention when he saw the next howling stone.
-Hang on a sec- He said to the small girl before sitting right next to it.
The soft sounding music blew along with the wind as his ears caught the sound of it. Carefully he howled, matching the pitch as the sounds appeared. When he opened his eyes as expected he saw the strange view of a parallel universe. The golden wolf sitting across from him, waiting.
Link recalled hearing the same tune in his mind before presenting it verbally to the other. Link didn't know why, but he felt happy when sung this one. The other two that he howled before were more solid, and almost emotionless, but this one. Actually brought his spirits up, he wanted to smile.
Link didn't even realize the song was over until he heard the golden wolf speak again.
"Let teachings of old pass to you... take sword in hand and find me..." And with that the wolf jumped from the cliff and disappeared from view.
The first thing Link saw was the smirking face of the Twili.
"No matter how many times you try, it still sounds funny when you howl."
Link rolled his eyes, he's not going to brother with her at all. She seated herself back on his back before they walked through the dark tunnel next to them
...
Okay, if Link thought that the Faron woods was pretty green and wooded, he was wrong by a long shot.
"It's amazing..." Midna complimented, her red eye glowing at the hidden forest.
Link nodded in agreement as he drank in the appearance of the rich green color of the forest. He has never seen such a beautiful trees and grass like this before...
His ears catching the sound of a lovely melody. -You hear that?- he asked the Twili his blue eyes facing her.
Midna nodded, finding herself humming to it softly.
"It's calming..." She whispered, closing her eyes just to listen to the serene music.
But he didn't stay there as he made his way towards the front, barely hearing the sound of birds and other creatures that lived in this area, mixed the soft wind blowing through the tree leaves. That was until he saw it, another howling stone.
*Another, here...?* Did that shade want to teach him more lessons?
But either way Link made his way towards the stone and sat on his haunches, listening to the tune.
The sound was beautiful... gentle and sweet but at the same time, powerful. Link concentrated and brought his different vocals and sung the same tune to the stone as best as possible.
Midna stiffen at the music. Hearing the all familiar tune of the song.
*Why is... how...!?* Her eyes widened, her gaze facing back at Link. How did he know that song...? Why does the stone...? So many questions coursed inside her head, even when she lowered her attention to Zelda, who still remained unconscious, but thankfully still breathing and without an injury, but...
The sound of childish giggling made her and Link look up ahead. There in front of them looked like a smaller, clothed version of those heartless puppets that they encountered before. Except this one was ornamented with a long pointed hat and what looked like some kind of long instrument and lantern.
Link growled, hearing the wooden child giggle again. But neither Link or Midna were expected what happened next from the young skull kid...
"Let's play a game."
...
Okay that's, that
The chapter was originally going to be longer, but honestly if I wrote anymore I think it would have messed up the flow of the story in my opinion. So I left it right there.
Don't worry before all of you guys say anything why is Zelda an owl and not gone from the story, well. That shall be explained later.
And Yes! I brought Navi back. To be honest I actually forgot about her. lol
But she shall be mentioned as much as possible in the next chapters, believe me it will get good :D
Again, thanks to all those that helped me for the idea of where the three should meet, I really appreciate the help ^^
Now here we go, the...
NOTES:
(1) HOW DARE YOU ZELDA! You Can't Forget About Midna
lol
Just had to react before someone else did XD
...
(2) Before anyone can say I have changed the wording of the original lines (I did say that I was going to change the lines now)
Also I feel like Zelda should know about the original hero. And besides, Skyward Sword Link did forge the Master Sword, so yeah. Beside I don't recall the sages forming it with their wisdom and such unless there is a game that explains that, I dunno.
...
(3) This happened in the game, if you guys talk to Rosie again after she explains about the Sacred Forest, and the puppets attacking her. You have the option of speaking with her again, she will indeed tell you this (or at least something similar lol)
~I'm using a walkthrough as I write this, because honestly I hardly have any time to actually to play the actual game anymore.
...
(4) I wanted to add that, it didn't happen in the actual game, but I felt it would be funny to add that XD
...
(5) This will be explained later in the story, don't worry. But here's the gif, Midna can only understand humans/Hylians, Link and Zelda (even when they transformed into their animal modes, well because they were originally Hylian.
Don't worry, like I said, it will be explained later. lol
...
Okay, that's pretty much I have to say, the next chapter should be out soon, so, wait for that. I hardly have much time this year, school is really being a bust. But I should be able to get this through soon.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed this, see you guys next chapter
