Me: Yey! I'm still alive and kicking!
LOTR: We finally managed to finish a story.
Me: And now, here to continue with this one.
LOTR: I doubt we can finish this on by April 10.
Me: Yeah... T_T I need to go summer schooling and I have to postpone writing this fic again! Just when I finally got my grove on!
LOTR: Yeah. You were staring at the monitor for almost full straight 3 days and still you haven't got started.
Me: Oh just a question! Do you guys think I should put fighting scenes for the other characters or just the fight scenes of between Laxus , Lucy and my super villains?
LOTR: She's a little weak at making fighting scenes, but for our readers. I'll push her to her limit. *holds a whip with an evil smile*
Me: *Shivers* Just put it on the review. The most votes win.
Me & LOTR: STANDARD DISCLAIMER APPLIES!
(A/N: If you want to see how Cancer uses his scissors as boomerang, get a scissor, with two hands try to spread or pull apart the two handles to their limit. That's what it looks like. If you want to know how Cancer uses his scissors as weapon or how he attacks, get a scissor, hold it like you normally do when you try cutting paper with it. Spread the legs, not too much only as far as your comfortable with. Stab it on something, must not be meat/any flesh and most preferably just do it on air and just imagine that you stab something, then while still inside of what you stab, close the legs like you cut a paper. For more gruesomeness, twist it then pull it out. Happy Nightmares!)
The group was half way to their enemies hide out. Camping at a forest, Pyre, Wendy, Charles, Happy, Natsu, Gray, Mina, Bixlow, Freed, and Laxus have already journeyed to the land of dreams while Pantherlily and Gajeel kept watch on a tree branch.
"Something's bothering you. Wanna spit it out?" Gajeel grumbled as he felt the anxious cat tensed beside him.
"Spit what out?"
"Don't deny it." His eyes shifted to his companion." I can smell it from a distance. It's reeking out the whole area."
"I-" the exceed was cut off when all of the dragon slayers keen senses picked something out.
All of them bolted upright and woke up their sleeping companions. The leaves of all the trees and bushes surrounding them rustled as unseen beings moved quickly in the silhouette of the shadows. Everyone tensed up and took a fighting stance. Their look out had no visual of their enemies. But the scents they picked up were familiar to the dragonslayers…..except for the dragon and the lightning dragon slayer. Little scurry movements circled them until a clap echoed through the night. All the movements ceased, most of the Fairy Tail mages held their breathes, a new but familiar scent added into the mix that made everyone that could smell it jump as the sound of footstep coming towards them floated to their ears. The two look outs jumped down from where they were perched as they felt the murderous intent in the air. They all turned towards the direction of the sound as the moon's pale light revealed the unknown newcomer.
"Well, well, well….." The owner of the voice spoke with sarcasm. "My lords sent me to do a little pick up duty and what do I find?" Gold locks swayed with the wind, spreading her sweet scent into the air. Pale scarred skin shone like silk as the shadows that hid her features was slowly dispersed by the light. Black ruffled skirt swayed at her every movement, a short shorts under it with black see-through stockings that reached at her mid thigh. She stopped and stood by a rock, her hands sophisticatedly on her hips as she put her weight on her left leg. Her black leather key pouch was attached to a brown belt that she wore on her skirt. Leather black one inch-heeled boots broke every sticks of dried branch that was on her path. Her top was consisted of red-violet spaghetti strap shirt, black short sleeve leather that went under her breast with the black strap of her bra showing going around her neck. Dark silver gray Enigma insignia was stamped over her pink Fairy Tail insignia. She had a smug look in her face and the once bright, warm, caring chocolate brown eyes had changed into dull, cold, calculating velvet and crimson. "I find a small buffet of prey camping out into the woods." Lucy chuckled darkly as she conjured three black keys from behind her. "I open thee, Gates of the Bull, Crab and Maiden! Taurus, Cancer, Virgo!" A flash of light and the sound of a doorbell with a poof of smoke, the three spirits appeared. Usually they would say something to their master but none of them spoke. Instead they stared at their master's opponent with dull eyes as black scales appeared on the crook of their necks, cheeks, foreheads, hands and legs. It was apparent that they were corrupted like their owner."Choose your opponents." Taurus struck the ground and crack started to crawl on the ground forming a letter Y, severing Gajeel, Lily, Charles and Wendy from the group. At the same time, Cancer threw two of his scissors and it pierced the ground, separating Mina, Gray, Happy and Natsu from the group, while Virgo just stood still and understood that the leftovers was for her. Tension was in the air as all of them took their battle stances. The exceeds sprouted their wings. The black cat had transformed to his massive form, his trusty sword in hand. "Kill." With that word all her spirit disappeared and reappeared in front of their chosen opponents.
Gajeel, Panterlily, Charles with Wendy vs. Taurus
Charles had hastily flown the sky dragon slayer into the air as Wendy casted all of her offense and defense buff spells to the three of them. Taurus had charged and swung his humongous axe, Pantherlily had blocked it with his massive sword. Both animals were pushing their blades on each other's throats. It was quite a scene to behold that made Lucy giggle. A battle between expert masters, between the mastery of the weapons of their choice. The inhumane power and strength of Labrys against the agility and endurance of the Musica, animal versus animal.
As they pushed back and forth, the black exceed caught a glimpse of the spirit's eyes. There was nothing in them but dark void that seemed to hypnotize him, draining his strength from his body.
"Iron Dragon's Demon Pillar!" The iron dragon summoned a metal pillar from the ground and it hit the bull square on its jaw, making him fly, landing a few feet from them. Angered, the animal spirit thrown his axe at the exceed and the dragon slayer. The two had jumped back and avoided the giant axe that had landed beside the pillar, but the bull had anticipated the move. The corrupted spirit launched at the axe. He jumped, using the handle of the axe like a diving board and it boosted him sky ward. He was so high up that he had managed to grab the ledge of the iron pillar and used it as a boost to reach his intended target who was currently distracted when an arrow had came out from behind her, narrowly missing her left cheek by an inch.
Everything was going so fast, too fast for the white exceed to take in. Last thing she saw was the bull had jumped from the iron pillar towards her, she was about to pull her cargo farther from the spirit's reach when an unexpected premonition shot on her mind. It was about Lucy, She was on her knees. She looked like she was praying, 13 orbs with yellow color but velvet and crimson swam with it creating a swirl of colors. The orbs were placed in a form of a wide circle, it glowed and dimmed. Out of nowhere, a gigantic golden dragon appeared at the center. Screaming smoke came of the orbs and the dragon inhaled them. Its bright, golden scales turned dull. The scales that she had seen from Lucy's spirits appeared at the same exact places at the dragon's body. Slowly, a black ring appeared on its neck. The beast roared in agony as the black collar became darker and more pronounced. A battle cry made her snap out of that state and tried to turn but it was too late.
The bull had managed to grab hold of the cat's right wing, out balancing the exceed. The corrupted spirit yanked the sky dragon slayer's hair and headbutted the poor girl. The pain surged on her head as she felt her skull cracked from the force, disorienting her. The bull then threw her to the ground, the back of her head hitting a rock rendering her unconscious. After he threw the mage to the ground, the spirit grabbed the exceed's face, threw her on the surface of the pillar so hard her forehead started to bleed at the impact. The bull was able to maneuver his landing to a tree and used it as a catapult making him fly again and landing beside his axe. He yanked the axe free, steam came out of his nose as he readied to himself to attack.
Gajeel growled at the spirit and advanced at him. "Iron dragon's-" Before he could say it, the bull had swung his axe at the dragonslayer's mouth making the dark haired slayer bite the weapon. Grabbing the head of the axe, the tainted spirit tried to push it to the slayer's mouth causing Gajeel to bite harder until the axe started to crack. The iron eater's tongue slithered on the blade, the taste of spirit metal was one of the rare tastiest metal he had ever eaten. He remembered how he accidentally ate the maid spirit's chains. It was savory with the tang of metallic flavor but most of all, it had an other-worldly flavor in them. But the bull's axe had a different taste. Something bitter, slimy and sour was dancing with his taste buds. Concentrated on his opponent, the bull spirit didn't caught sight of the black cat charging at him. But as the cat charged, something glistened from the bushes. Realizing what those were, his body reacted for a split second.
"Gajeel!" The cat had taken flight and swiftly appeared behind the dragonslayer, shielding his comrade with his body. Distracted by the sound of flesh being pierced by metal, the slayer tried to glance back only to have the unconscious body of the muscled cat to fall on him. Pushing him forward, surprised, his hold on the axe slipped. Without even thinking he activated his Iron dragon's scales. With a sadistic grin, the bull pushed the blade in the dragonslayer's mouth. The blade tore the cheek muscles, blood oozed from the dark haired mage's mouth. Pain and horror spread inside him as his cheeks tore at the sharp blade. Half-way through, a blue blur managed to knock the slayer's fall sideway, preventing any more damage to take place. Gajeel landed on his side and cradled his torn jaw as blood flowed like a stream, agony kept shredding on his face. Happy's face lay flat on the dirt, a black arrow protruding at his side. "Sshhiit!" his words slurred as the wound prevented him to speak clearly, pain stung him at every letter. He ransacked his head for an explanation. His iron scaled should have prevented this to happen. But why didn't it? He raised his hand and clenched it, his color did not change, that meant his scales didn't activate when he wanted it too.
"Oh yeah, just a fair warning!" the spirits owner shouted who stood by and watched while everyone battled for their lives. "Their weapons are coated with poison which turns all dragon based magics and attacks into bullshit! Hahahaha….."
With his free hand, he tried to sit up. So that was what I tasted. He frowned at the realization. His hand landed on his partner who had returned into his small cat form. About to berate him for being stupid, he looked at his unconscious partner only to stare wide eyed. Arrow were sticking out of the cat's body, blood had already dyed the green grass and soil into deep red. The slayer squinted his eyes and growled at his enemy, anger and hatred started to fuel him to fight harder. His opponent slowly walked towards him, a gleeful, murderous smile gleamed from the bull's face. He tried to push himself up. The iron dragonslayer was going to put up a hell of a fight and nothing could stop him, with the exception of a ear shredding noise that made him lie back down in pain, arching his back from sheer agony, both of his hands on his ears, not caring that his saliva and blood was drooling out of what was left of his cheeks.
Mina, Gray, Happy with Natsu vs. Cancer
Mina had casted her own buff spells to four of them. Baby violet runes were written on their bodies. The circle of runes was written on the back of her hand. (12 runes in a form of a circle like a clock). All of them stared at the silent crab spirit, his usual scissors have changed. They were now more claw like, he was holding them by the joint. The legs of the scissors were pulled apart to their limit.
"We'll take the skies." Natsu yelled at his comrades. "C'mon Happy!"
"Aye, sir!" the exceed replied as he swooped the fire dragonslayer up onto the air. Before the cat could even fly higher than the trees, something whipped past them causing the blue cat to pause from ascending farther. "What was that?!"
The pair's eyes followed the flying object until a tanned hand had grabbed it. "Ebiii…." Slowly, the sunglassed spirit crouched down, both hands pulled back. With expert hands, he swiftly let his scissors fly, using it like boomerangs. The two scissors-turned-boomerang flew, following the two on the air.
"Natsu! Happy!" Gray yelled worriedly as he looked up the duo, zigzagging in mid-air, trying to evade the homing projectiles. At the edge of his eyes, he saw the spirit had appeared in front of him, he was holding the scissors normally, with his adam's apple in the middle of the spirits scissors.
"Stop gawking like an idiot, dumbass!" Mina scolded as her hands shot from behind him. One of the twin swords were in the middle of the scissors, preventing them from closing. Cautiously, he glanced down where the other sword was, the crab had another scissor poised to stab the spreaded legs of the scissors, his hold on it was the same one as he held the ones on his throat, on his side. The sword was also in the middle, preventing it from stabbing and closing on his flesh.
The crab smiled and jumped back away from the two. He converted the two scissors into boomerangs and threw it at Natsu and Happy, this time he pulled two more out of sleeves and changed them to boomerangs, throwing it to the two in the air.
"Ice make: Saucers." sending the ice projectiles at the tainted spirit. "Ice make: Sword." Conjured a sword made out of ice, then launched at the enemy. With a flick of his hands, the tanned spirit summoned two scissors holding them normally. Cancer's fast hands managed to cut every single ice projectiles, pieces of shattered ice blocking his vision. Out of the pieces came a sword that tried to pierce his forehead but managed to block it by clamping it with his scissors and pushed it upward. The hair cutter smiled in triumph until a pain surged from his side. The female mage in front of him smirked, wanting to know what the pain was, he looked down to see a tip of an ice sword emerged from his flesh as gold glitters and dusts leaked out of his wound. The crab spirit snapped his head to his female opponent and caught a glimpse of one of his boomerang scissors and smirked.
Mina's instinct told her that there was something on her back, so she changed the hold she had on her other sword so that it pointed straight to the ground. The script mage spun around, her hand outstretched with the other sword's right edge pointed at her while other left edge pointed away from her. The high note sound of metal hitting metal radiated the battle field as a boomerang scissors bounced and buried it's blade to a huge rock behind the black haired mage. With her off guard, he slashed his scissors on the side of her neck making her cringe and yelped in pain. Something from a bush in front of her came flying out and hit her square on her right shoulder. "Gaaahhh…" droplets of blood traveled down her clothes, soaking it. Quickly, she jumped to the side, Gray, who was behind the spirit, kicked him hard and made the tainted spirit tumble forward. Before he hit the rock, he managed to turn, and with a flick of his wrist, threw a scissor on Gray like a dagger. It had hit him on his left rib. He clutched the wound and staggered back. The wound bled profusely, the tingling sensation of the wet substance trickling down his skin accompanied the pain that was starting to curl at his insides. Thinking it might have hit an artery, he froze the wound with the scissor still sticking out of him.
The back of the spirit had hit the hard surface, knocking out his breath out of his lungs, his spine felt like it cracked. The corrupted crab spirit growled and was about to lunge at the ice mage when the male mage froze him on to the rock, only exposing his head and his hands. The, somehow, now naked mage ran to his guild mate inspecting her wounds.
"Don't worry, it's just a scratch. Nothing too serious." She whined as she tried to swat his hands. "And weren't you dressed when we woke up?" a question mark popped out of his head, then he looked down. Yup, his shirt, had mysteriously disappeared… Again…. For the billionth time…. So he just shrugged, not really knowing what to say. They looked up in the sky when they heared Natsu and Pantherlily screamed.
"Don't worry Natsu! We got you!" Mina's shouted "Ice Make: Crossbow!". Ice arrows continuously shooting at the projectiles making them bounce and hit each other and crash down to the ground. One of the end of the net was tied to two trees while Gray had the other end catching the salmoned hair mage.
Happy was trying his best to lose the entire homing boomerang. Natsu did his to shoot all of them but every time his fireballs would hit one, the boomerangs would just be deflected and wouldn't get caught on fire. Arrows out of nowhere would pop out and graze him, his vision doubled. And every time the boomerangs deflect, it would hit the ground, or trees, or rock and bounce back and hunt him again.
"Natsu! I can't fly anymore." The blue exceed whined as he struggled to keep up with the speed of the projectiles, even with Mina's runes, it was still hard. Before his partner could reply, and arrow grazed the exceeds arm. The sharp pain and the world spinning made him let go of the fire dragonslayer.
"Happy!" He screamed as he projectiles followed his descent.
"Natsu!"
"Gajeel!" Pantherlily's voice echoed and caught his attention. His eyes wide in surprise, arrows flew and pierced his fellow exceed.
"Don't worry Natsu! We got you!" Mina's shouted "Ice Make: Crossbow!". Ice arrows continuously shooting at the projectiles making them bounce and hit each other and crash down to the ground. One of the end of the net was tied to two trees while Gray had the other end.
Knowing that his partner was now safe he zoomed to the black exceed and saw what the bull spirit was doing. Not even thinking, he speared Gajeel's side, away from the axe but as he did this, and arrow was shot to his side. The impact of his face on the ground knocked him unconscious.
The fire dragonslayer had landed safely on the ice mage's net.
"Thanks dick face!" the salmoned hair mage grinned goofily.
"Don't mention lame brain." The raven haired mage smirked coolly.
"Oh yeah, just a fair warning!" the spirits owner shouted who stood by and watched while everyone battled for their lives. "Their weapons are coated with poison which turns all dragon based magics and attacks into bullshit! Hahahaha….." both of the mages scowled.
"Gaahhhh!" a painful scream made the two snap back to reality. The black haired rune mage had kneeled to the ground cradling the shoulder that had been hit by the arrow.
"Mina!" Both of them shouted in worry as they ran to her aid. Gray arrived beside her first, supported the mage's right side.
But as the slayer neared them, a stray sharp rock hit him at the back his head and he dropped on the ground, his chin hitting first. A slimy, white liquid oozed with blood, moistening the grass and soil underneath him. Everything spun and swayed. It made him remember a moving train, a vomit was ready to come out of his mouth until he heard a noise that made him wish that his ears were detachable. The pain invading his head and poking his brain with spears, a combination of this and his motion sickness made his brain do an emergency shutdown.
Freed, Bixlow, Pyre with Laxus vs. Virgo
With the spirit mage's order, Virgo had quickly jumped and hid herself underground. Evading Bixlow's flying totem dolls, Laxus' lightning and Pyre's fire. The three kept shooting the ground randomly until an idea popped into the slayer's head.
"Freed, put up runes that would prevent her from digging." Laxus barked at the rune mage. With a nod, the light-green haired mage started to write runes around their area with his sword.
"Oh yeah, just a fair warning!" the spirits owner shouted who stood by and watched while everyone battled for their lives. "Their weapons are coated with poison which turns all dragon based magics and attacks into bullshit! Hahahaha….." the mages grumbled under their breaths.
"Bixlow. Pyre. We need to distract her while Freed does his stuff." But before the two mages and the dragon could do anything, the maiden spirit had popped up from the ground and hurled three sharp rocks at them. Bixlow used his totem to deflect the rocks while Pyre and Laxus used their dragon reflexes to evade. The hurled rocks went pass three trees before it stuck itself on the wood, and the deflected rock went to Natsu's direction. She, then, disappeared underground digging tunnels. The mages stood in a battle stance as they heightened their senses and became aware of their surroundings. All of them waited and listened for a rumble of the ground to pinpoint the pink haired spirit.
She popped up behind Pyre, Bixlow, seeing it, used one of his totem to ram itself on the spirit's head only to have it miss its target and almost hit the dragon. The soul dragon growled at him and breathed fire on his feet causing the Seith mage to jump back.
"Hey, it was an accident!" he hollered at the lizard. "Accident! Accident! Accident!" his floating dolls echoed.
The corrupted spirit popped up behind the dragonslayer and threw a sharp rock at him. Sensing something was directed at him, he turned and punched the projectile spreading dust as the impact. With that, the spirit hid underground again popping behind Bixlow and using her left chain, she used it as a whip and wrapped it to one of the totem. When that was done, she pulled it down. "Spica Lock!" she yelled and she released the doll then the totem was trapped between two boulders. Then she went underground again and popped a step behind Freed, and whipped her chain to the nearest totem, pulling it towards her. "Spica Lock!" and another totem was trapped between two more boulders, disappearing again. She popped her head at the center and this time, the three fighters were getting annoyed.
"Thunder Bullet!" Laxus placed one of his arms a few centimeters away from the other, held outstretched, with both of his palms open, creating a sphere of lightning around his outstretched forearm, from which a barrage of small, yet destructive lightning orbs wass fired towards her head but she disappeared as fast as her head appeared. Then she popped at the slayer's foot and a totem came crashing down, the pink head was the target, but it was gone before it could hit and instead it had crashed course with the slayer's foot. The pain vibrated from his foot to his head.
"The fuck you doing?" Then the tainted spirit's head popped between the visor-wearing mage's feet and the dragon spat fire, trying to burn the head. Instead he almost fried the nuts of the soul mage if he hadn't jumped and grabbed hold of the two out of three of his remaining totem dolls, making him float and evade the fire that was roasting his ass as he pulled up. Her head reappeared next to the rune mage and threw a sharp rock at the mage. But before it could make an impact the dragon had shot it with high density flame making it melt within seconds.
At the edge of his eye, the rune mage saw something bright pass net to him, he turned to see a fireball burning to close for comfort. "WATCH IT!" Unfortunately, it was so close to the rune mage's hair that it singes a large amount of his hair. The smell of burning hair wafted on the swordsman's nose and felt the heat behind him. He grabbed a handful of his hair and examined it, blackened and curled edges were easily spotted. "My hair!"
Oh, cry me a river, word-geek! After a minute of it a game of "whack-a-mole" The dragon had finally reached his limit of patience for annoying dumbassery. Ah, fuck this! With that, the dragon dived down on one of the tunnels and breathed fire. The extremely high temperature of the flame melted the rocks and dirt creating lava. It flowed to every tunnel the spirit has made.
She knew that she was at loss if she ever went above ground where she was an open target. So she dug deeper, creating more tunnels. But the extreme heat was searing on her skin and she knew that just behind her was the lava. Having no alternative, she was forced to resurface where Freed had finally finished the runes.
"Those who are in these runes cannot leave if he or she is and Earth Magic user and must not use Earth Magic within the runes." He stated with dignity. The spirit growled at him and launched at him. She let out a right jab which he easily avoided by stepping back. The she tried to kick his left side with her right leg which he countered by clashing it with his left arm. She punched him straight using her left but this time he grabbed her wrist and twisted it so that the spirit would turn and her arms twisted back. With a battle cry, she forced herself to bend down, lifting the rune mage. She turned to untwist her arm and kneed the man on his stomach. Breath was knocked out of him and she threw it at the dragon who managed to fly higher to evade the man.
Pissed off by hurting his nakamas and waiting time which he wanted to use to grab the stellar mage and drag her back to the guild to get her back the way she was, he impatiently shouted "Lightning Explosion!" A large amount of lightning in his was gathered in his fist and then punched the ground, engulfing his target in a torrent of lightning and destroying much of the surrounding ground in the process.
The spirit scowled, she knew she could not avoid his attack no matter what she did. But she was not going to go down alone. She would use his own power against his own comrades. With a snap of her wrist, chains swayed in whip-like movement and wrapped themselves around the dragon's tail and the seith mage's arm. The lightning had hit her, but electricity had crawled on to the chains electrocuting the two wrapped on her chains. It also created a cloud of smoke covering the three electrified beings.
As the electric current and cloud of dust died down, it revealed the two others had fainted from the sudden surge of electricity, three wooden totems were still intact but were scattered on the ground while the maiden spirit kneeled on her right knee. She was transparent and weak, but a violent gleam was in her eyes. Freed had walked and stood a foot next to her, thinking that she was weak and had not enough strength to fight, he was dead wrong and that fatal mistake had lead him to a critical situation. Clutching two handful of dust, and with amazing speed, whipped and threw it on his eyes. His vision clouded and some of it entered his lungs making it also hard to breath, that he did not have enough time to react to the arrows until it was too late.
"Freed!" the lightning dragonslayer screamed as everything went slow motion. Four arrows out of nowhere, appeared and pierced the rune mage's left tip of his earlobe, right collar bone, one had almost pierced his heart and the last one was on his foot. A fifth arrow missed his right eye by mere inches landing on a fallen totem somewhere. The force of the impact made him stagger back and lean backward then laid on his back flat on the ground. Blood pooled underneath him creating red mud. But before he could run to his friend something struck on the back of his shoulder. His hand shot up to stop the bleeding, a blade protruding his flesh. He turned to see a scissor with legs spread apart had struck him from the back. The left leg buried deep on his flesh while the right leg was pointing towards the sky. He was about to yank it off when another stray flying scissor had hit him on his spine, his bone cracked at the impact. He staggered and fell down on one knee, but he didn't want to give up. He wanted his Lucy back, and she was just a few meters away from him. All he had to do was- A noise that sounded like a flat line pierced his ears, his brain shook at the sound. He clutched his ears, forcing the noise out but it didn't word. The noise grew louder accompanied by different annoying, ear-bleeding noises. The pain throbbed at his ears and his head that he couldn't think straight. He had no time put on his headphones to muffle the noise because as soon as he lift one of his hands to do just that, he would surely go insane.
(A/N: I got a confession to make. This was suppossed to be longer, actually it was 4,000+ longer. I thought that everyone would be bored reading it, so I decided to cut it and put the other half as another chapter. I'll post ot tomorrow I promise. Scouts honor. ||^_^\\\)
