I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
Sunlight pierced through the small window as Antonio groaned and began to sit up. If it was already morning that meant they had to be there. Antonio peered out the window before smirking and leaning back down over the sleeping Italian next to him. "Lovi" he sang into her ear quietly. Lovina just turned away, letting her bare back face him.
Antonio chuckled and laid back down beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist and lightly pressing his lips to the back of her neck. "Lovi, wake up" he hummed as she squirmed. Lovina scowled and pushed his face away before shoving her head under a pillow. Antonio rolled his eyes when he heard a muffled "go away."
"Come on, belleza" Antonio whined as he ripped her cover away. Lovina winced under the harsh light and groaned. "What was that for?!" she snapped. Antonio laughed and pinned her down. Lovina was so entertaining in the morning.
"You were ignoring me" Antonio pouted Lovina rolled her eyes and tried to roll back down with no success. Antonio was so annoying in the morning. "Why won't you let me sleep?" Lovina whined quite pathetically. Antonio smirked and rolled his hips against hers in an effort to 'wake her up'. Lovina's breath hitched as she shot up to smack him.
"I-Idiota!" Lovina stammered. Antonio cocked an eyebrow and flashed her a smug grin as he leaned in closer. "I think you enjoyed that" he cooed. Before Lovina could protest, Antonio quickly pressed his lips to hers, hopefully stifling a string of curses and threats. Much to his delight, it worked remarkably well and Lovina immediately deepened it.
Antonio pulled away momentarily to laugh. "Are you awake?" he sighed. Lovina shook her head and pulled him back.
"Egypt can wait" he hummed into her lips lazily. Lovina's eyes flew open before she pushed him away. "We're here?!" she asked eagerly. Antonio frowned at his own stupidity and nodded. Lovina immediately picked up the first article of clothing she could find before going to see for herself.
Lovina smiled eagerly when she saw the desert waiting for her. She saw the Nile, the busy market, hell she even saw pyramids in the distance. "Dios Mio, Tonio…" she sighed. Antonio chuckled and came up behind her, endeared by her amazement.
Lovina quickly turned to face him. "Can we go?!" she pleaded. Antonio chuckled and placed a quick kiss on her forehead before turning back around to get dressed. "Whenever you're ready, mi amor. Don't worry about your clothes; we'll find you something better suited for the climate" Antonio assured her as he threw on a shirt. Lovina nodded and quickly put on whatever she could find before looking back up at Antonio.
"Oi, bastard."
Antonio whipped his head around to find Lovina standing before him, biting her lip to keep her already wide grin from growing. With a light chuckle, she gently wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him closer and resting her cheek against his chest. "Grazie" she sighed contentedly. Antonio grinned sheepishly and lifted her chin. When she acted sweet (excluding referring to him as 'bastard'), He knew he had done something right.
"You do not have to thank me, mi amor" he mumbled as he brushed back her hair. Antonio was too mesmerized by the brightness in her eyes to come up with something better to say. he just wanted to make her happy.
Lovina cupped his jaw and brought his lips to hers for a fleeting moment before rushing out to the upper deck to get a better view. Antonio couldn't help but laugh as he watched her go. Every single tiny detail about her was perfect.

Antonio, Gilbert, and Francis kept their heads down as they walked off of the ship, puzzling both Lovina and Elizaveta. Lovina heard an obnoxious giggle from behind her and turned to see Matthias grinning like an idiot as he watched the three walk as inconspicuously as possible. Which made them pretty damn conspicuous.
"Last time they were here, they weren't invited back" he explained to the two women giddily. Lovina turned back to glare at Antonio before marching up to walk beside him.
"Alright, what the fuck did you do?!" she hissed. Antonio failed miserably at pretending he had no idea what she was talking about, before chuckling nervously and shrugging.
"Nobody told Gilbert he wasn't allowed to climb up a pyramid and take a piss off of it…"
Lovina directed her glare toward Gilbert and crossed her arms, ultimately giving him a spot on 'you're a disappointment' look. Gilbert pouted like a five year old and matched her glare. "I was drunk and I had to take a piss! I couldn't just climb down!" he whined defensively. Lovina groaned and smacked her palm to her forehead before trudging ahead of the unruly trio.
Antonio quickly picked up the pace and caught up to her. "Don't wander off without me, Lovi" he warned. "I know you like to do that, but I want you to stay close. You don't know much about this place, and you don't know the language like me."
Lovina crinkled her nose and shot him a skeptical look. "You speak Arabic?" she asked cautiously. If you give that man an inch…
"Of course I do!"
…he takes a mile.
I know this is super short but there is so so so much more to come.
