Avielle's eyes widened when she had realized what she had done, her heart was still beating out of her chest, but the adrenaline she had been feeling was slowly dissipating as a red mark in the shape of her hand began to develop on Lily's face. She groaned internally, she knew she had no right to tell anyone what had happened to Severus that night, but she just wanted that two faced bitch to have a grasp on something that wasn't her for once.
Slowly she placed her hand back own on her side, but she didn't run away like others would have done, instead she just looked at Lily before giving a slow glance at Mary.
"Don't you think about telling anyone what I just said." She said coldly, "Or I will make sure you will regret it." Lily didn't move but out of the corner of her eyes she could see Mary nod. Running a hand through her hair she walked over to where Madam Pomfrey was standing, berating herself for her actions, how could she have been so stupid? Especially since Lily really didn't seem to care and she didn't know Mary that well. She would be lucky if Severus ever spoke to her again after he found out and she didn't even want to think about what her mother would do to her if she heard that she had just blurted it out to the world.
When she stopped in front of Madam Pomfrey, she was received with a knowing look, she had heard nearly everything she had said. Avielle hung her head slightly before taking a deep breath and looking up at the adult in front of her.
"How is he?" She asked quietly not daring to look behind the woman in front of her.
"He will been fine in the morning." Madam Pomfrey replied as she took a quick glance over her shoulder to make sure Severus was, in fact, sleeping. "Physically at least."
Avielle nodded slowly, some of the tension in her body easing, but that did nothing for her screaming at her for her heat of the moment reveal.
"I would like to ask you a few questions thought, if you could head to my office please?" The matron asked her with a sad smile on her face, she nodded again before heading down the row of beds.

Poppy watched as Severus' sister made her way to her office, before turning her attention to the pair of Gryffindor girls who stood where the fight had occurred. With quick and determined steps, she approached them, she was going to make one thing perfectly clear to them before she even began with Avielle.
"Madam Pomfrey." Ms. McDonald greeted her with a low voice while Lily just stared off in the distance.
"How is Severus?" Mary asked, it was obviously she was genuinely concerned for the Slytherin that no one could really bother themselves about.
"Severus will be alright." She stated, "Speaking of Severus, I have a request to make of the two of you." She waited until both of them nodded, even if Lily seemed to do it rather reluctantly.
"You will tell no one of what Ms. Snape just revealed to you, if I hear anyone mocking Severus about what happened to him over the summer, I will hold the both of you responsible and I will try my hardest to ensure that you will not return to this establishment next year, do I make myself clear?"
Both girls nodded in unison.
"Good, now be off with you." She stood there for a moment making sure that they left before closing the doors to the hospital and headed towards her office, she wanted to know who had done this to Severus, she wanted to make sure that whoever had touched him would not see the wonders of Hogwarts Halls again.
Sitting on the chair that Severus had sat a few days ago was his sister, her hands were folded in her lap and her head hung just the same way his did. It wasn't until now that she noticed how much alike the two siblings were, they both had a habit of hiding their faces when embarrassed or ashamed, they had a habit of fidgeting when they were nervous, and they both shared a temper that was just as quick to light as it was to put out.
"Avielle?" She asked causing the young girl to look up from her hands, as she, herself took a seat. Quietly she pulled Severus' file towards her from the corner of her desk. "You know who did this to him, don't you?" She asked as she opened up to the last entry she had made a week ago. She pulled the paper out of her pocket and laid it aside on her desk.
"Yes Ma'am" the Slytherin replied quietly
"Do you mind telling me?" she asked as she picked up her quill and dipped it into the well of ink on her desk before getting a fresh piece of paper.
"It was Potter and Black." she said after a few moments of silence. "They had him pinned to the floor in one of the first floor classroom while there friends where in the corner watching." As she wrote, her blood ran cold. While one half the Marauders were going to commit rape, the other half where just going to sit back and watch the show?
"Remus and Peter saw what they were doing to him, and they weren't trying to stop them?" She asked looking at the girl in front of her.
"Yes Ma'am, they were." Madam Pomfrey sighed as she placed her quill on her desk, she was surprised, Peter wasn't the best wand in the bunch, but she had expected more from Remus, after all he was a prefect, it was his job to defend students, even the ones he did not like.
"Were you the one that found him?" she asked.
Avielle nodded. "I was looking for him, I had not seen Severus all day, and I was walking down the hall when I heard him pleading. . ." Silence filled the room as Madam Pomfrey ferociously scribbled down what she had just been told.
"May I go now?" the Slytherin asked in a quiet voice, "I need to get his things from the room." Madam Pomfrey nodded, not looking up from her paper even when the door closed.
Quickly Poppy pulled a form from the third drawer in her desk and filled it out as quickly as she could, she barely waited for the ink to dry before she charmed it to fly to the headmaster's office. No one else did anything for Severus, she was going to make sure that someone did, he deserved to be safe.

Mary sat on her bed in the dorm, her back against the headboard while she hugged the pillow to her chest. She couldn't believe what she had heard down the hospital wing. She had had an idea of what Severus was going through at home, but she would have never guessed it had gotten that bad. That had explained why he was rather reluctant to stand up to James and Sirius when they picked on him, it explained his reaction when they had called him those horrid names in front of their classmates. She squeezed the pillow tighter. She could understand that they were worried about others finding out about what happened, if that information ever got out, he would most likely just pitch himself off of the astronomy tower, and honestly if she was in his place, she most certainly would. She tried to imagine the pain he must have went through, but she just couldn't just thinking about it made her cringe violently. Across the room she could see Lily's form on her bed, they hadn't spoken at all, and Mary really had no intention of talking to her for a while. How dare Lily complain about having to follow them. Hadn't she seen Severus? Hadn't she heard what their housemates had said about him? Maybe that slap to the face would be her wake up call, maybe she would finally realize that everyone needs saving, even those who hurt you do.

Lily's face stung were Avielle's hand had slapped her in the face, but that was nothing compared to what she felt on the inside. Everything her father had said was making sense now. Everything was falling into place for her. Had she really thought that he had deserved being put in the hospital? The guilt that she had been suppressing for a while came bubbling to the surface. Severus had been her friend and she had left him when he needed her the most. Sure he had called her a mud blood, but wasn't what she did worse? Didn't she taunt him along with James and the rest of them? Didn't she just stand by when James and Sirius called him those names?
Lily sighed, she didn't know what to do with herself, the side of her that wanted Severus gone was fighting just as strongly as the side that wanted to be there for him, but she had no idea who was winning, At the hospital it the side that wanted to help him was winning, she groaned and closed her eyes, she didn't want to deal with this right now. She was busy doubting the things that she had seen when she had seen him, from the bruises to the marks to his mannerisms that she had just dismissed. Why did Avielle have to ruin the image that she had of them? Didn't she know that Lily was perfectly happy being how she was, pretending things did not exist and that everything in the world was all fine and dandy. But no, in the span of thirty seconds everything that she had encased herself in had been shattered. She doubted that she could ignore what happened to him any longer after all, it had just been thrown into her face.
Lily exhaled as she rolled over, She didn't know what she was going to do, maybe she would just going to go on like she always did, or maybe she would do what was right.

The Smell of bruise balm and antiseptic stung Severus' nose as he awoke. As he slowly opened his eyes, he was met with darkness. He wasn't certain what day it was, maybe it was the same day, and maybe it was a week later. He wasn't entirely sure. His wrists and thighs were still throbbing but it wasn't as painful as before. For a moment he couldn't understand why he was in the hospital wing at all, then it hit him as he brought his hand up to the bite mark on his neck. Potter. Black. The attempted Rape. He shivered as he remember what had happened, he shivered as he remembered Mary and the look on her face when she had seen him on the floor.
He felt sick at the fact she had seen him like that, with his shirt ripped wide open, his trousers were undone and half way down his hips, the scars in his body, everything. He groaned as he turned his onto his side. He could handle if his sister knew, but Mary, what would she think? What did she think when she saw him? Did she think he was weak? Dirty? Maybe she thought he deserved it, at least all that she knew was what James and Sirius had done, and that was all she was going to know, that was all he was going to let her know. He wasn't going to let her any closer than he had to. What would she think if she knew what Tobias had done, what would anyone think if they discovered what Tobias had done to him.
Severus took a deep breath to calm himself, at least he didn't have to worry about that, no one knew about what had happened other than his sister.
