No, Jean and Scott's baby is not going to be named Rachel, lol. I'm trying to make this my own world.

Letting out a sigh, Rogue smiled as she glanced at Gambit in the mirror of the bathroom while they both finished getting ready. He smiled back, winking at her before he walked up and took her in his arms and placed a kiss on her lips.

"Y' ready?" He asked.

"Yeah." She said, turning and hitting the light switch.

Walking back into the bedroom, Rogue picked her phone up off of the floor and checked it. The battery was at twenty percent and she had three missed calls, two voicemails and seven texts.

"Looks like tha whole world needed me last night." Rogue smirked as she read the texts. "Betsy needs ta go over where we're heading today."

"Ey, I tol' her y'd call once we was done." Gambit said.

Rogue smiled at him. "Ah think she was expecting a call after our romp last night." She said as she dialed her back. "Ah'll put her on speaker."

Plugging her phone into the charger on the wall, it rang once and then twice before she picked up. "Hello?" Psylocke asked.

"Hey, hun." Rogue said as she slipped her flats on. "Sounds like we woke ya."

"No, no. It's quite alright." Psylocke said. "I assume you two have been busy with each other."

Gambit chuckled. "Yeah, sorry about that." Rogue said, smiling at him. "Ah didn't mean for ya ta be hearin' from us so late."

"It's alright. Really." She said. "I sent over an address earlier, did you get it?"

"Yeah." Rogue said.

"It's a bar about thirty minutes from you. An upscale bar, so dress to impress." She explained. "You need to find a man named Nockston. He frequents the bar daily and hangs around for hours."

"When does he usually arrive?" Rogue asked.

"Around three." She said. "So you have plenty of time to prepare."

"When we fin' dis Nocks'on homme, den wha' we doin'?" Gambit asked.

"Try and get him alone." Psylocke said. "Once you do, question him about the boy. He looks intimidating, but he's a pushover."

"Got it." Rogue said. "Anything else we need to know?"

"No, that's all the information I have. Nockston should be able to point you to the location of where the boy is hiding." She said. "If you need anything else, just give me a ring."

"Will do, Betsy. Bye." Rogue said as she ended the call before turning to Gambit. "How do ya feel about me flirtin' with this Nockston guy? Just ta get him alone."

Gambit shrugged. "Fine b' me." He said. "But if he touch y', I'ma jump in."

She chuckled. "Please don't blow our cover, sugah." She said as she checked the time. "We've got four hours ta kill. Let's get some lunch."

Ready?" Bobby asked as he pulled the car back. "Set?"

"Go!" Leila yelled with excitement as she watch Bobby let go of the car and it sped off down the driveway. "It's going so fast!"

Bobby laughed as Leila ran after it, finally picking it up as it stopped and ran back with it. "That thing goes pretty fast, huh Leila?" He asked.

"Uh huh!" She said as she tried to pull the car back. "Ready? Set?"

"Go!" Bobby said watching Leila let go of the car, but it didn't travel very far. "Aww, bummer!"

"You do it." Leila said as she picked it up and handed it to him.

"Here, I've got an idea that'll be awesome." Bobby said as he used his powers and created a fancy looped track. "There. Ready Leila?"

"Oui!" She said with excitement, making him laugh.

"Okay. Ready?" He said pulled the car back. "Set?"

"Go!" Leila screamed as the car took off.

She watched, wide-eyed, as the car zoomed through the track, making turns and loops before it flew off the ramp and went even farther.

"Wow!" Leila giggled as she ran down the driveway and grabbed the car. "Can you make a circle that goes round and round and round?"

Bobby smirked. "Like when you flush the toilet?" He asked.

"Yeah!" Leila said.

"Sure." He said as his hand turned to ice and he began making the track.

"What's goin' on out here?" Wolverine asked as he walked out the front door.

"Uncle Bobby's is making ice tracks!" Leila said. "Look!"

Wolverine smirked as he watched Iceman finish the track. "Alright, ready?" Bobby asked as he pulled the car back. "Set?"

"Go!" They both said as he let go of it and it ripped around the swirly track.

Reaching the end, it flew off and head straight for Wolverine's face. He caught it and handed it back to Leila who had run up to get it.

"Sorry, Logan." Bobby said, laughing.

"No problem." He said, smiling at how much fun Leila was having.

"Uncle Bobby?" Leila asked.

"Yeah?" He asked, looking down at Leila.

"Can you make a slide for me?" She asked.

"Nope." Wolverine said as he walked down the stairs and picked Leila up.

"Aww, c'mon Logan." Bobby plead. "I'll make a safe one."

"Answer's no." Logan said as he looked at Leila. "You break somethin' on my watch, yer mama's gonna snap me in half when she gets back."

Leila smiled as she placed her hands on his chops and felt the roughness of the hair. "Can we go to the zoo?" She asked.

"Zoo's closin' now." Wolverine said seeing her get sad. "Hey, we'll go this weekend. Sound good? You, me, Bobby, Ororo. What do ya say?"

"And Ms. Betsy?" Leila asked.

"Sure. If Betsy's still here, she's more than welcome." He said, seeing Leila cheer up. "Let's get some dinner and then it's time for bed."

Walking into the upscale bar, the place was already packed with people. Hooking her right arm in Gambit's left, Rogue searched the crowd for someone that looked rough and intimidating. When the waitress walked by, Gambit reached out and took a cocktail and casually sipped on it.

"Y' see 'im?" He asked, looking around the room.

"Yeah." She said, turning toward him and fixing his tie. "Your eleven." She saw his red eyes fainty through his shades look to her right. "He's the biggest, toughest lookin' guy in here. That's gotta be him."

Glancing through his shades, Gambit saw the man. "Big as Colossus." He said.

Rogue smiled. "Looks like it." She said as she looked into Gambit's eyes. "Ah'm gonna go over there and see what ah can do ta get him alone. Try and flirt with him a little. See if he'll take a bait."

"Mm, no go, chere." Gambit said as she turned around. "He swing de' ot'er way."

"What?" She asked looking to see the man making out with another guy. "Well, hell. There goes my plan."

Putting her weight on her left leg, Rogue popped her hip out and placed her hands on her waist, thinking about what they could do next.

"Look like I'm up." Gambit said, running his fingers through his hair as he handed her the cocktail.

"Ya can't be serious." Rogue said.

"Wha'? Y' don' t'ink I can charm 'im?" He asked with a smirk.

"Well, ah never would'a thought." Rogue said, taking a sip of the drink.

Gambit smirked. "Can play wha'ever field I need t' get info'mation." He took his ring off of his left hand and handed it to Rogue. "Keep dat safe fo' me." He said as he popped the collar of his jacket and casually made his way over to where the guy was sitting.

Hopping up on the stool beside the man, Gambit looked at him and smiled. "G'day." The man said, eyeing him up and down as he raked his teeth over his bottom lip.

"Hi," Gambit said, changing his accent. "I couldn't help but notice you as soon as I walked in. Name's Michael Brown."

Shaking Gambit's hand, the man gave him a seductive grin as he looked him up and down again. "Andrew Nockston." He said, introducing himself. "You're a long way from the States, mate."

"Business," Gambit said. "Stocks and shit."

"Ah, trade broker?" Nockston asked.

"Yep." Gambit replied as he played it casual when Nockston started to move in closer.

Placing his hand on Gambit's thigh, he leaned in. "How long you in Sydney for?" He asked.

"A few days." Gambit said, leaning in but making sure to stop inches from Nockston's lips to tease him. "Maybe we could get to know each other over that period of time."

"I like the sound o' that." Nockston said, inching his hand higher up Gambit's thigh, cupping his groin. "Mm. You sure are packin'."

He smirked. "Let's blow this joint and go fuck around out back." Gambit said, adding a seductive grin.

"I definitely like the sound o' that." Nockston said, as he stood up and took Gambit's hand, leading him to the back of the bar.

Gambit looked over his shoulder back at Rogue who exited out the front to meet them around the back. When they got to the back door, Nockston opened it and turned around smiling at Gambit as he walked through and closed it behind him.

"You're fuckin' hot, mate." He said as he moved in closer, cupping Gambit's groin again as he pressed him up against the wall. "Exotic."

"You're not bad yourself." Gambit replied, running his hands up Nockston's back as the man started to kiss on his neck.

Pulling away, Nockston smiled down at Gambit. "You a top or bottom? 'Cause I don't mind either way."

"He likes it when ah'm on top, sugah." Rogue said making Nockston look her way just before she punched him.

Gambit watched in disbelief as Nockston hit the pavement hard. "Rogue, wha' de hell?" He asked.

Cracking her knuckles, she shrugged as she looked at her nails. "Ah got jealous." She said quickly, handing his ring back to him. "Ah didn't like how he was gropin' ya."

He smirked as he put the ring back on his left hand. "Y' afraid I was gonna jump ship?" He asked as she smiled playfully at him. "Wha' we gonna do wit' him now? We was suppose t' question 'im."

Rogue smiled. "Ah'm gonna get tha information we need." She said, winking at Gambit as she knelt down and placed her hand on his forearm for a few seconds, using her powers. "Got it. Warehouse looking building. Ah got tha surroundings in my head and how ta get there. Let's go."

"Wait." Gambit grabbed her forearm. "Did y' see de kid?"

"Yeah." Rogue said. "Come on. They ain't plannin' on staying around much longer."

Taking a taxi, they stopped five blocks from the warehouse and walked the rest of the way. Coming up on the building, they hid in an alleyway and watched as guards walked around out front.

"Remy?" Rogue asked.

"Mm hmm?" He answered.

"Ya ever have sex with a man?" She asked, seeing him look at her like she was crazy. "Ah'm only askin', 'cause you were playing with Nockston pretty damn well."

He chuckled. "Don' take it dat far." He said, looking back at the warehouse. "Maybe a kiss o' two if need be. I like m' women."

She smirked as he lightly grabbed her left buttock and gave it a strong squeeze. "So." She said, bring their focus back to the task at hand. "How ya wanna handle this?"

"Ma façon." He said, taking his blazer off and taking his collapsible bo out of the breast pocket. "Stealt'."

Rogue watched as he took his tie off and unbuttoned the sleeves of his shirt, rolling them back to his forearms before pocketing the staff in his right pocket. "Here, ya might need these." Rogue said, opening her clutch and handing him two decks of cards.

"Dis why I love you." He said, making her grin as he took the decks and placed them in his left front pocket. "A'right. Le's get t' work."

"Wait," Rogue said as she grabbed him by the collar and planted a kiss on his lips. "Ah'm gonna keep watch from up top. Ya be careful."

"Toujours." He smirked as he disappeared into the shadows to the left.

Rogue took to the sky and watched. She didn't think about anyone being on the roof, but luckily the coast was clear. Searching, she tried to pinpoint Gambit but he was hidden too well. Even in his white shirt, she couldn't see him. Flying to the right to get more of a full aerial view, she finally spotted him behind a crate at the back of the building.

"How tha hell'd he get over there?" She asked herself as she watched him fluidly take out three of the guards without them making so much as a noise before ducking back down and disappearing into the shadows. "Ah love watchin' him work."

Sitting in the shadows of the back of the warehouse, Gambit waited for another guard to walk by him. When he did, he quietly jumped up and took him out, cutting off the blood flow to his head before piling his limp body on the others he'd taken out. They were hidden well and wouldn't be found until they woke up on their own, which would be soon if all these damn guards kept coming around.

Waiting for another moment to make sure the path was clear, he quietly made his way around to the front and watched. Three more guards standing around and there were no shadows left to hide in. Slowly creeping forward, he kept the wall to his back as he slid behind the three guards and took his bo out. Hitting the button, it extended with a 'click'.

"What the hell?" The guard on his left asked as he turned around and saw Gambit.

Before he could say anything Gambit smacked him in the left temple, dropping him as he did a back handspring and swung the bo around, tripping the other two. Rogue suddenly dropped done from the sky behind them and cracked their heads together, causing them to go limp.

"Merci." He said, collapsing his bo and pocketing it again.

"We gonna knock politely?" Rogue asked, putting her right fist in her left.

"Didn' do all dis hard work fo' noth'in', chere." He smirked at her. "Le's see wha' de inside look like, eh? Didn' see anyone up top."

Rogue shook her head. "There's no one up there." She said, looking up before she dropped her eyes down to him. "Hold on tight, hun."

Grabbing her by the waist, she hooked her right arm under his left as she flew them up to the top of the building. Landing, they head over to a recessed area that went down to a door.

"Ceci est différent." He said, looking down the steps to the door.

"We gonna use tha air ducks?" Rogue asked, looking at the vents.

Gambit looked at her and slightly frowned. "Y' serious, girl?" He asked.

"What?" She saw him smirk.

"De only thin' t'ose air ducks'll hold are rats." He said.

"Well, then that's perfect for ya, sugah." She smiled playfully.

He smirked back as he looked to his right and jutted his chin in that direction. "De window. Le's take a look inside b'fo' we ruin t'eir day." He said as they cautiously walked over and got down on their stomachs.

Crawling to the window they looked inside to see it was pretty empty, guard-wise. They only spotted four.

"There's tha boy," Rogue said. "Seven o'clock."

"Je le vois." Gambit said as he looked at Rogue. "Lef' o' right?"

"Ah'll follow ya lead." She winked, seeing him smirk.

"Den in dis case, after me." He said as he looked in the window again, seeing a catwalk just at their six o'clock.

Taking his index finger and using a low amount of his powers to cut through, he lightly drew a circle on the glass just big enough for them. Quickly grabbing the glass before it fell, he pulled it through and placed it to his left. Getting to his knees, he winked at Rogue just before he slipped inside and landed on the catwalk without a sound. Slipping in behind him, Rogue stayed in the air as she followed close. Getting to the end of the catwalk, they found themselves right above the kid, but there was someone else with him.

"Dat homme look mighty import'nt." Gambit said quietly, glancing up at his wife that hung just over his left shoulder.

"A suit tells everything about a man." She said, suddenly moving back as Gambit turned around. "What's up?"

Looking around at their surrounding, he found Rogue's eyes again. "Dis place laid out strange." He said, looking left and then right. "T'ere usually mo' catwalks dan dis in warehouses."

"Well, we are in another country." Rogue said quietly. "Maybe they do things differently?"

"Maybe." Gambit answered as the important man started moving across the warehouse floor. "Look alive, chere."

Turning her attention to the ground, she watched as the man in the suit grabbed the boy forcefully and made him walk alongside him to the front door.

"Our cover's gonna be blown once they see everyone's gone." Rogue quietly said as she looked at Gambit.

"Den le's keep dem inside." He said as he reached into this left pocket and pulled out three cards.

The pinkish purple glow lit up fast and bright. Standing, Gambit threw the cards aiming just ahead of the pair and he hit his mark. The cards hit the front door and exploded, knocking the man and the boy back and off their feet. The four guards were now on hight alert.

Rogue quickly ducked down behind Gambit and placed her hand on his back. "Ya stay right here. Ah'll take care of those gun-totin' Ozzies."

"Came from up top!" One of the guards yelled.

Pointing their guns to the sky, they looked around for anything out of the ordinary. "There!" Another yelled as Rogue came flying down at them.

They opened fire, but the bullets were no match for her as she landed in front of one guard and took his gun from him before she snapped it in half and shoved him through the side of the warehouse wall.

Turning around the other three guards stopped firing. "Y'all are smart." Rogue smirked as she sassily walked toward them. "Now if ya'll would kindly put those guns down we'll-"

An explosion hit her back hard that sent her flying past the other three guards and into the other side of the wall. "Stupid American." The man in the suit said as he pocketed his mini grenade launcher.

"Dat be a nice toy, mon ami." Gambit said, catching the man off guard. "But de fact y' just blew m' wife across dis place make me a li'l angry."

Pulling the mini-grenade launcher out again, the man pointed it at Gambit. Extending the staff, Gambit smacked it from his hand before he swung around and slammed the bo across the man's face. He hit the ground and didn't move.

"Bonjour." Gambit smiled at the young teen.

"Don't!" The teen said as he shoved past Gambit.

"Eh, wait!" Gambit called out just as the bullets started to fly past him. "Shit!"

Jumping to the right, he hid behind several large crates as the loud noise rocked the inside the warehouse.

Letting out a groan, Rogue sighed as she pushed herself off the ground. "That bastard." She said as she got to her feet and brushed her clothes off as she heard the bullets sound up again. "Remy!"

Taking back to the air, she flew inside and took one of the three men out, throwing them into the guard on the right before she flew over and snatched the gun from the third and tossing him through the wall at the back.

"Remy?" Rogue asked, looking in the direction of the crates there were aiming at.

His hand popped up and then his head. "Sain et sauf!" He called out as he made his way to her and pointed to the front door that was blown up. "Boy ran."

"Then let's catch up to him." She said as they head out of the warehouse where they saw the teen facing them. "Hun, it's alright. We ain't gonna hurt ya. We're here ta rescue ya."

"Don't! Leave me alone!" The teen said. "They'll kill me!"

"Who's gonna kill ya?" Rogue asked calmly, putting her hands out as she slowly inched toward him.

"I-I can't tell you." He said as he reached his hands out.

The rumbling of the debris behind them made them look, seeing it all coming closer to them.

"Look out!" Rogue yelled as she jumped forward and then looked back to see Gambit had gotten stuck when the young teen rebuilt the wall.

His face and his right hand were sticking out, but everything else was encased in the wall.

Running up to the wall, Rogue placed her hands on it as she looked up at him. "Remy!" She said.

"Go! He's runnin'!" Gambit yelled.

Rogue looked back to see the teen running off. Looking back at Gambit, she took her stance and reared her fist back to punch the wall.

"He's gettin' away. Go! I be righ' b'hind you!" Gambit yelled.

Hesitating for a few more seconds, she turned and head in the direction the teen ran. Watching her and trying to move, Gambit was glad he took in a breath before he got stuck in the wall. Not even his chest was expanding with breathing.

Bending his wrist up, he placed it against the wall and started to charge it. "Dis gonna hurt." He said to himself as he prepared for the huge blast to follow.

Flying throughout the surrounding blocks, Rogue couldn't find the teen. She finally planted her feet and looked up at the sky defeated. She cursed herself for letting her feelings get in the way and causing her to hesitate. Those fifteen seconds were all it took for the kid to disappear.

Placing her right hand on her hip, she turned around as a car took off down the road. "Wait a dead-gum minute." She said to herself as she took off toward the car.

She could see the teen was driving so she was sure to be careful when she grabbed the trunk of the car, dug her fingers into it and picked the back end up, stopping it.

"Get outta tha car!" Rogue commanded. "Ah ain't gonna ask ya again!"

The teen opened the door and jumped down but didn't run away. Setting the car down angrily, she clapped the debris from her hands as she walked toward him.

"Listen," She started. "Ah don't know who's got ya life in their hands, but ah'm here ta help ya. If ya in trouble ya gotta tell me."

The teen shook his head. "I can't!" He said, looking around paranoid-like. "I know they're watching..."

"Who's watching, hun?" She asked as she walked closer to him, holding her hands out for a truce. "Ya can tell me, sugah."

"No! I can't!" He said as he grabbed his head. "Don't you get it? They're watching us right now!"

Rogue looked around at the quiet buildings. "Snipers?" She asked as she looked at the teen. "Is that who it is?"

The teen's eyes widened. "You need to leave!" He said. "Now!"

Rogue suddenly heard a bullet fire and it hit her in the shoulder, bouncing off of her. "Hey!" She screamed as she turned to where it came from.

Another bullet sounded and it flew past her and landed square in the teen's chest.

"No!" She screamed as she ran over and grabbed him.

Seeing the blood start to ooze, she placed him on the ground and tore a piece of her skirt off and placed it on his chest firmly.

"Ya hold on." She said, looking around for help, but there was no one. "Hold on, sugah. It's gonna be alright."

"They...made me do it." He said struggling to breathe. "Take all of those things from people... Send them...to..."

"Where?" Rogue asked, checking to see if the wound was clotting before she placed the cloth back on the hole firmly. "Tell me where they are."

The teen shivered in her arms as his breathing quickened. "Uh..." He moaned in pain as he shut his eyes tight.

"Listen, ah swear ta God ah'll find these people and make 'em pay." Rogue said, feeling him start to go limp.

Placing her hand on the side of his face, she started to absorb his memories and her eyes flew open at what she saw. She hated that this was his fate, but she swore to him and she needed to keep that vow. Her powers stopped working on him and she knew he was gone. Looking down at his face, she stroked the apple of his cheek in a motherly fashion and closed his eyes before she got to her feet. The sound of shuffling feet caused her to turn around, quickly taking a defensive stance.

"Remy?" She asked, seeing his clothes ripped and torn and he was using his staff to help him walk.

He smirked. "Had t' blow m'self outta dat wall." He said. "Fo'got how much dat stings."

Walking over to her, he looked down at the teen. "Snipers." She said, looking at the side of Gambit's face. "Ah think they've left."

Gambit sighed. "Repose en paix." He said quietly as Rogue took his hand.

"Remy, just before he died, I absorbed his memories." She said.

"Dat's good, right?" He asked.

"Well yeah." She said, looking down at the teen. "But ya not gonna like what ah saw."

He narrowed his gaze at her. "Wha' y' see, chere?" He asked, seeing the worry on her face.

She sighed as she looked back down at the teen before looking up into his black and red eyes. "It looks like we're gonna be visitin' New Orleans sooner than ya wanted."
