Previous on Chapter 27

"Happy Birthday, Kuroko-chii!"

"He was a hired assassin that was sent to dispose you."

"Why are all these happening…?"

"There's nothing we can do but to watch…" Midorima bit his lower lip.

"THAT BITCH STOLE MY SEIJURO FROM ME! SHE'S THE ONE WHO TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME!" Luka screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Thank you for saving my sister…I should have trusted you back then…"

"I…don't …want…to…see…you…guys…any…more…"

Aomine throws himself on the couch, while the others took their seats in the meeting room while waiting for their Tour Chief Director slash their agency president, Nijimura Shuzo to arrive. The bassist yawned as he made himself comfortable on the couch, "I'm totally wiped out~" he stretched his arms. Satsuki whacked his legs with the folded file, "Dai-chan, legs off of the couch!" the bassist clicked his tongue, "Yeah, yeah, quit hitting me!" he put his legs down.

"Aomine, you shouldn't be like that to ladies." Hibiki sat down next to Mayuzumi and Nana. Satsuki's eyes sparkled, "Yes, yes! That's right, Dai-chan, you should be more polite to ladies!" her childhood friend snorted, "The only lady I can see here is Nana. No one else." He crossed his arms behind his head as he leaned back against the couch.

"AHO-MINE!" she pouted. Everyone laughed, "That's what you get for saying things like that. We learnt the hard way with Nana here." Mayuzumi commented, earning a death glare from the said vocalist.

Nijimura who was outside the meeting room, chuckled as he watched his musicians bonded, "It's like looking at a portrait except it's an incomplete portrait…" his smile fell. The bluenette's presence truly did affect them. One might not notice it, but the life the songs had on the first day of their tour had vanished on the second performance.

After returning from Tokyo, Kagami had been working himself to the bone. He did not speak much of what had happened when they went to visit Kuroko but Nijimura knows it has to be something with Kuroko. Kagami never let other personal matter get in the way with his work unless it is Kuroko. In a way, Nijimura understood why the bassist turned out like this.

He longingly looked at the screen of his phone. A wallpaper of a teenage girl in her 15's with long black hair, with the same eyes as his, hugged him playfully. He was 24 when he lost his sister due to her illness. He was just a manager at a talent agency; his salary was not enough to keep paying for his sister's medical expenses. It was during the winter, where the snow was falling heavier than usual. The ambulance could not make it in time to their house. She passed away in peace, in his arms.

"Nijimura-san, we're ready." Satsuki poke her head through the door. He nodded as he closed his phone. Which is why he did not pressed on the bassist, he went through the same except Kagami had it much worse. He understands why Kagami had been anxious after Kuroko left them. His sister is dying and here he is, in a tour, away from his beloved sister.

...

Nijimura went to the front of the meeting room, and then he cleared his throat, "As you all know, our tour will come to an end after our final two destinations. The first will be in Kyushu and the last one will be in Tokyo. So, I want no quality drop in your performances. No matter what happened, the show must go on." His eyes traveled to each of the musicians in the room. Each of them had that look saying they want to get this done and over with. Kagami looked like he just wants to find a hole and sleep in it.

"I know each one of you is worried about Kuroko-chan but I can guarantee all of you, one hour after the tour in Kyushu ends, you will be flown back to Tokyo. I have arranged the flights for each of you. Once you reach there, the other managers I assigned from our agency will drive you to the hospital. I understand how everyone feels right now, I myself am in the same shoe, but everyone, and we're all in this together." All of them were surprised. Not even Satsuki who is the manager of the agency knew about this final plan for the bands which was a surprise.

"You just need to hold out for two more weeks, and then I'll let you go have your break once we're done in Tokyo. So, give me your best self in the final two concerts, got that?!" He looked at Kagami, and then he smiled, "Kagami, I know you're in a tough spot but hang in there."

Kagami looked around him; all of them were giving him that supportive smile and grin. Aomine gave him a firm hold on his shoulder, "Just like what the boss said, we're in this together. Ain't gonna leave you and Tetsu all by yourselves."

Kise nodded his head, "That's right, Kagami-chii. We're in this all together!" The red head felt touched by the support they were giving as he hung his head low, hiding the threatening tears.

"Thank you…" Everyone exchanged relieved looks. They knew Kagami was not in his best spirit after returning. Seeing him to look much better than earlier made them feel easier. They knew after this, their last two concerts would be the best ones.

Satsuki watched them bonded, she smiled, 'Nijimura-san truly is an amazing director.' She thought as she looked at the raven-haired president. Regardless of Nijimura's strict demeanors, he still had his caring side that he shows when it is needed and right now was the perfect time to show it.

Nijimura Shuzo, the director/president of the RAKUZAN Agency. A top-notch agency that has produced many world classes entertainers from all sorts of categories. He is all known as the devil president who never gave up on his artists no matter what trouble they had had encountered. These are proven true in all the years since he recruited the Generation of Miracles, Kuroko, and Kagami into the agency. It was all because, Nijimura believed in them.

In Tokyo, the cherry blossoms were blooming beautifully as the first day of spring had finally arrived as pink petals bloomed on each tree along the road, near the lakes, almost everywhere around the busy town. It goes the same as the surrounding garden of Shutoku Private Hospital.

Kuroko was reading her book underneath the blooming tree of cherry blossoms. She looked up at the flowers as her lips curved into a smile, 'The first day of spring has come, the flower petals are opening up, each one more than another, the flowers will once again blossom in full glory, knowing yesterday what will happen to them today, has made me happy.'

It has been a week since she last pushed her friends away after they visited her a day before her birthday.

.

.

"It's your birthday tomorrow, Kuroko-chii. We're here to celebrate it with you."

"Tsuki-chan, we flew all the way from Hokkaido this morning to reach Tokyo. Nijimura-san was nice enough to help us to visit you during our tour tight schedules, so please understand…"

"Don't worry, we'll leave. I just wanna say that I'm glad to see you again and happy birthday, Tetsu…"

"Happy Birthday, Kuroko-chii…"

.

.

She looked at the ring as her sapphire orbs sadden, 'It's the only thing I could do for them, Sei…if they stayed by my side, they'll d—'

Someone approached her, "Kuroko." She shifts her gaze to the man in front of her. Her doctor, Midorima Shintaro smiled at her, "You shouldn't be out here for so long. You'll catch a cold." He draped the white cardigan that he grabbed from her room, onto her shoulder.

"Thank…you…Doc…tor." She smiled at his gentleness. He nodded as he looked up into the blooming flowers, "Spring finally came, huh? Time flew by without us noticing it." He sat on the bench nearby, "I can understand why you insisted to come out here. The flowers are beautiful when they're blooming." He leans back as he closes his eyes. He lets out a sigh, feeling relaxed for the first time after so long.

Kuroko watched him as she noticed he began to doze off, "Doc…tor…?" she tilted her head, upon receiving no reply. She chuckled lightly, as she continued reading her book while the forest green haired doctor took a nap.

"Sleep…well…Doc…tor…"

Takao who was doing his rounds on the third floor smiled at the relaxing sight in the garden, underneath a certain blooming cherry blossom tree. The bluenette was reading her book, while his partner, Midorima was resting on the bench.

.

.

The raven-haired doctor was about to enter his partner's office when he heard a loud bang inside it, quietly he peeked into the office, ignoring the stares from the nurses passing by behind him.

"It's just like what I've said, Midorima. You must discontinue your research in the hospital lab. It is breaching the rules when you have used the lab for your personal benefit. The Ministry of Health has found out about this and has already sent us a red card for your research after they dismissed you from the team!" the director of the hospital put the said letter on the table as Midorima quickly read through it.

The director sat down, "You know what this means, don't you?" he lets out a heavy sigh as Midorima frowned, "I'm sorry but there's no other way. You have broken over 10 rules and you yourself knew the risk involved in it. We tried covering it but the watch dog they've sent over discovered you and there's no way I can cover up for you anymore."

"Will you at least let me stay here for three more weeks? There's a promise I must keep no matter what and it's the only thing I could do for her." He hung his head low. The older man remained silent. Then, he stood up, "Alright, three more weeks and that's all." He walked up to the door.

"Midorima, you're a great doctor and it's a shame that the hospital's losing you." He opened the door. He noticed the raven-haired doctor standing at the side, not looking at him. Then, he turned around, looking at the doctor inside the office, "Use your time wisely, Midorima. Have a good evening." Then, he left.

Takao came out of his hiding spot and stood at the doorframe, "You should stop that eaves dropping like a cicada." He sat down as he massaged the bridge of his nose.

"Sorry."

He closed the door as he made a beeline to the couch. He watched Midorima calming himself down. He knew what Midorima had been doing after that certain conference with the research team. He stayed up day and night, desperately searching for a cure.

He admired the green haired for one reason, his passion towards curing his patients. In the years of their services after graduating with a degree, he watched Midorima struggling hard to search for the cure. Unlike Midorima, he is in the children department but often he strays off into the third floor where the doctor's department is.

He took a deep breath as he stood up, "Shin-chan, let's go for a drink tonight. My treat." He grins. His partner glares at him, "You know I don't drink." He scoffed.

"Eh? You were drinking the other day besides you talk more than you usually do when you're drunk. So, it's a deal. In two hours, after work, we're going to hit it. Talk to ya later."

.

.

He blinked when he watched Midorima's head loll to the side, when he abruptly woke up before he fell. It was a funny sight for Midorima who was always so reserved and tense, "I told him he should have gotten some sleep last night…" he sighed. He continued his rounds.

"Goodnight, Kuroko. Sleep well; I'll see you in the morning." He gently ruffles her soft locks. Midorima excused himself from his patient room for the evening. Kuroko watched the flat screen TV as it broadcasted the tour live performance from Kyushu. From the screen alone, she knows the tour had received nationwide fans. Not only their performances had increased in quality but also the vibe around the band members had been improved after their last performance in Okinawa.

[ENAMEL by SID]

The two bassists and guitarist played their part, while Murasakibara kept the music tempo with his drums, "- how beautiful." The stage went dark before it brightened up; Kise sang with everything he had, "'Cause I'll make you forget the whole thing again, you'll order my submission without needing those pushy wounds." The scorching heat from the lights above made them sweat. They couldn't feel the air conditioners in the dome anymore, with enormous numbers of fans in the dome, cheering their lungs off.

As the bassist, Kagami focused on keeping up with the tempo as the song heavily relies on them and the drummist, "-Reaching the nape of your narrow neck and fading away~~"

'Just two more songs, then I can go back to Tokyo and see her again.' His solo part came; the moment Kise ended his song phrase. As a professional, he should not let his problems come in the way of his performance quality. He is exhausted but so are the others. The tour truly is a challenge but it is something they all must fulfill for the sake of Kuroko

.

.

He was staring outside the window, when someone tapped his shoulder, "Kagami." He looked up. Minoru Hibiki, Kuroko's blood brother smiled at him, "Coffee?" he showed him the coffee cups in each hand of his. The bassist straightened his back as he took the red ceramic cup from the guitarist.

They were on their seventh tour destination in Shikoku prefecture. Six weeks ever since Kuroko left them on their first tour. Things have been hard on him after returning from Tokyo for a visit to the hospital to celebrate his beloved sister's 23rd birthday. He did everything he could to remain focused. He knew everyone was worried about him but he could not help.

He was devastated. He was the closest person to Kuroko and Kuroko was the only person he had in his entire life after the death of his parents. They went through hell just to stay alive. He worked his hardest no matter what job he got before he made his debut in Los Angeles with the help of his mentor, Alex. All of that because he wanted to give Kuroko a better life.

He stared at the black coffee, while Hibiki took his seat opposite him. He sighed deeply. "Tsuki-chan won't push someone without a reason, ya know. She's not that kind of person." Hibiki broke the silence. Kagami looked at him, "I know but…"

"You felt depressed because she won't tell you what all of these about." He added. Only then, Kagami realized what Akashi said once was true. Hibiki can read someone's mind without them telling him what is in their mind. The guitarist sipped his coffee, "Have faith in her, Kagami. I'm sure she ran into a wall that she's still searching a way to break it."

The guitarist shifted his gaze up to the midnight sky where the city was still buzzing, "I felt envious of you Kagami." He put down the cup.

The red head bassist frowned, "Why's that?" Hibiki forced a pained smile, "You got to spend your life with her while I could only watch her from afar. You watched her growing up into a fine woman. You gave her a life that you struggled so much to provide. You were there when she needed a shoulder. Most importantly, you put her first over everything you had." His blue orbs saddened.

"It's something that I could never do for her. I was a coward. I was afraid of her pushing me away, looking at me with hatred. Whenever I thought of it, I could not bring myself to admit who I was to her. So, I spent half of my life watching her from afar. It pains me…"

"But I know, she's doing this for a reason. So, have faith in her. For all we know, she's the one who's suffering the most."

.

.

The song finally ended with a blast. Then, it was EUTERPE's turn to perform as the Generation of Miracles exchanged position. Mayuzumi played the violin while Kise played the piano. Everyone except Kagami went in the backstage for a break as he watched them performing.

[Shinkai No Kodoku- Houko Kouwashima]

"Tell me about sorrow…" her voice resonates beautifully into the dome as Mayuzumi continues playing his part, while Kise followed by the piano playing."If you close your eyes, you won't gaze into sadness. If you forget the feeling of warmth, you won't feel pain."

"I can't recall that gentle voice in the depths of my mourning heart."

Her sapphires shift from the music sheets on the table to the screen, 'It's that song…' as she watched the performance. The dome was full of holographic sea, the sound of the waves hitting the shore, the wind, and the birds as Nana sang.

"Why do I search the ocean depths aimlessly, for the warmth that I should not have known"

She shifts her gaze to the roses that her dear friend, Haizaki once gave to her. Shinkai No Kodoku, a song that she composed after she met the silver haired assassin. He was the reason she was able to compose the songs that her friends were performing right now. If she had not met him, she would have probably stayed in the past where Akashi's death haunted her.

"At this moment that will never come twice, you are all I can see…"

.

.

"What were you thinking going on that damn cliff when you can't even stand on your own two feet properly?!"

"I'm Haizaki Shougo, what's yours?"

"It does? Then perhaps I should smile a little more."

"I definitely would listen to them if you're the one who sings them."

"Kuroko-chan, you only live once. If singing is something you truly love, then you must make the best out of it."

"I...don't think…I can…listen to your voice…anymore…"

"Stay…strong…"

.

.

Then, she looked at the dolphin keychain he once gave to her, hanging on her pouch. She bit her lower lip, before resuming what she was doing earlier, 'I can't afford to waste more time…' Takao, who was doing his last round before leaving for the night, quietly closed the door.

"Nothing we can do but to watch, huh…it truly stinks being a doctor at times."

The concert finally ends with their fans clapping and cheering. Each of the band musicians were heaving heavily as they exchanged relieved glances with one another. Kagami looked at Nijimura who was watching them from the backstage; the director gave him a thumb up. He smiled.

'I can finally go see Tetsu!'

The others chuckled at how excited Kagami became the moment their second last tour ended. They knew, he missed Kuroko very much.

Once the concert ended, both band members rushed to change their attires, grabbed their backpacks and went into the vans prepared for them. Nijimura was in the car ahead of them, as they headed to the airport. Kagami shifted uncomfortably in his seat. Mayuzumi who found it amusing to watch, snorted, gaining the attention of the bassist who tilted his head, "Calm down, Tiger. You'll see her soon." Feeling slightly embarrassed he looked outside where the airport was nearby.

Nijimura was the first one to search for the departing board, then he turned around where the others finally approached him, "Alright guys, here's the deal. You will return to Tokyo ahead of us. The last concert will be held in Tokyo Dome. Remember, it's four days from now on. We don't have much time to waste once the crew arrives there with the equipment's."

"Satsuki will be handling your tickets. As I have briefed before, when you reach Tokyo, there will be managers from our agency. I don't know what ya guys plan to do going back early but you have two days to spare before the last one." All eyes from the other passers by eyed them curiously, especially onto the familiar musicians in front of the shorter male, Nijimura.

He looked at his watch, "Well I think that's pretty much from me. Have a safe trip and say hi to Kuroko-chan if you guys going to see her. Satsuki, if you please." He gestured at the pinknette who was standing quietly by his side.

She nodded, as she handed out each of their tickets to each of them, "Come on guys, we need to board on the plane in 10 minutes." Quickly, all of them ran after the pinknette. An amusing sight for the director to watch, as he watched them following the pinknette like ducklings as she inspected them going through the scanner one by one like a mama duck would do to her ducklings. Once, they were all in, she gave a quick bow to the director before going through the scanner and grabing her handbag.

The plane from the Shikoku Airport finally departed for Tokyo. Nijimura watched the plane disappearing into the sea of clouds. "Have a safe trip." He mumbled, before returning to the car where his secretary was awaiting for him.

"Finally I can get some good sleep without those kids bugging me." he yawned as he stretched his arms. His secretary chuckled, "Sounds like you got your hands full, President." He started the car. Nijimura nodded, "Full yes but they're an interesting bunch. So, I don't mind it much." He rested his chin against his knuckles as he looked outside.

"Yes, they are."

"The wind's voice tells me of winter, my body shivers as I listen, you're right next to me, and your breath seems white and cold"

The windows to her room are left open, as the breeze blew in gently brushing against the blue colored curtains. On the bed, Kuroko was lost in her own world as she focused on the music sheets. Despite unable to write normally, she still tried her best not to mess the papers up with the marker Midorima bought for her.

Slowly, she put down the marker. Then, she looked at the bathroom, then to her wheelchair, then to her legs. She bit her lower lip. The nurses had not come around for their rounds yet. Midorima has been busy lately, so she doesn't see him much. She pushed the table a little front, and then she moved her legs to the side of the bed.

She pushed herself to the side with every ounce of strength she had left, 'Luckily the wheelchair is nearby.' She thought. Using the table as support, she tried to reach for the wheelchair, 'I can do this…' she furrowed, as her fingers still couldn't reach the chair. Slowly, she goes to the edge of the table, not noticing she was losing support before her body crashed onto the floor.

Her orbs widened the moment she felt her lower part slowly soaked with liquids. Her lips began to tremble as she looked beneath her. Tears began to pool at the corner of her orbs. Slowly, she crawled to the bathroom, ignoring the stains it was making on the white floor of the hospital. Droplet of tears fell, drop by drop, pain by pain.

'It hurts so much…'

"Life has withered away; too, this year, before long, I've grown impatient for spring's arrival, while listening to the chains of life, continuing to bud in the light"

The group of musicians who were currently on tour, made their way through the hospital building after getting visitor passes from the front desk. Murasakibara was carrying a bag of snacks and gifts that he bought during the tour destinations. They all looked at how ridiculous Kagami is, when his pace began to fasten, once they reached fifth floor where Kuroko's room was.

He stood in front of the door, taking a deep breath, he slid it open, "Tetsu, we're here." He entered the room. His ruby orbs traveled across the room and found no traces of his sister, but he noticed the wheelchair, then he heard the sound of the shower in the bathroom, "Tetsu…?" he looked into the bathroom.

His breath hitched, the moment he saw Kuroko underneath the shower, letting herself soaked,"TETSU, what the hell are you doing in there?!" he saw those lips moved but he couldn't hear it as Mayuzumi quickly turned off the tap. Kagami draped his jacket onto the bluenette.

"Don't…look…at…me…ple…ase…" he noticed the trails of tears on her soaked cheeks. "Tetsu…" He heard someone coming into the room, "Kuroko!" the others made way for the green haired doctor who rushed to the bluenette's side.

"Ple…ase…don't…look…at…me…" she repeats, as her lips tremble. Hibiki and Kise, who were standing outside the bathroom, noticed the trails of liquids from the bed to the bathroom. Frowns latched onto each of them, when they knew what it was.

Midorima pushed Kagami aside as he quickly carried the bluenette into his arms. Nurses came in when he pressed onto the nurse call button, "Please leave for now." Midorima looked at them, while the nurses grabbed the fresh clean clothes from the cabinet. Soft sobs filled the room, as they pulled the curtains close.

It was only thirty minutes later, Midorima emerged from the room, followed by the nurses who excused themselves. The doctor frowned at the sight of his patient's friends who still stood outside the room. He sighed, "I believe Kuroko has mentioned she doesn't want to see any of you anymore." He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his white coat.

"Doctor, I also believe you have no rights to stop us from seeing her." Hibiki retorted. The rest of his friends glared at the green head, questioning his actions. He sighed, "I do. Once the patient stated she doesn't want to see certain people, the hospital has the right to uphold the patient's wishes."

The red head bassist bit his lower lip, "You don't." he glares at the doctor, "I paid you to look after her, not getting in our way to see her. She's my sister, I have rights over her." His tone dropped dangerously, "We didn't fly all the way from Shikoku last night just to deal with your shit first thing in the morning."

He was losing his patience. For weeks, he had been holding out until the time he can meet his sister. He growls as he stomped towards the doctor.

"My fate continues to rot away, I understand, but I remain strong, I want to breathe, I want to sing"

He opened the door, "Suzuki Ojou-sama, the item that you personally ordered a few days ago has arrived." Her butler puts the brown colored packaging onto the table. The brunette who was lying on the bed gets up, as she looked at the package. She smirked.

"Leave." She ordered the butler. He immediately bowed and left the room. Lazily, she went to the table where the package was. She ripped off the brown paper, and then opened the box. Evil glint flashed across her brown orbs as she picked the item from the box, "Perfect, now all I need to do is to find her." She looked at the pile of papers near the box. A folder contained all the whereabouts of the bluenette.

"Seijuro is mine."

"It would be good if I can leave something behind that says I have lived… a proof of my life"

The nurses quickly avoided the commotion down the hall on fifth floor. Midorima gritted his teeth as he pushed Kagami against the wall, "Try to understand, what she's doing is hurting her more than you can imagine! She's doing it for your sake!"Hibiki and Aomine tried to pull the doctor away from Kagami, "I thought I could trust her in you, I guess I was wrong." Kagami snorted.

"I know you're an idiot, Kagami but are you that dumb to understand that YOUR SISTER IS BLAMING HERSELF FOR WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AKASHI AND HAIZAKI?!" Everyone froze as the doctor's words rang in their ears. Kagami's orbs were wide open. Midorima realized he accidentally let the cat out of the box. He let go of the bassist's shirt as he sighed.

"The reason she was pushing all of you away was…"

"I don't want to sing a sad song. Hey, I'm begging you, right now my only wish. Is to laugh next to you "

.

.

"Hai…zaki…san…no…matter…who…you…were…you're…still…my…fri…end…I…wished…I've…met…you…sooner…I've…enjoyed…my…time…with…you…" she looked at the mp3 player in her hands. She smiled silently at it,"You…have…one…of…the…best…smiles…I've…ever...seen…in…my…life…I'm…glad…that…I've…seen it…for…one…last…time…before…you…left…" then she shifted her gaze to the haka.

"I've…owed…you…my…life…if…it…weren't…for…you…I would…have…been…long…gone…" her lips turned to a straight thin line as she held her tears back, "I…couldn't…do…any…thing…more…than…this…for…you …but…all…I…want…to…say…is …thank…you…so…much…" she bowed to the haka.

"Thank…you…so…much…for…every…thing…Hai…zaki…san…you're…the…best…friend…I…could…have...ever…asked for…not…hing…can…replace…you…" then she straightened her back, the downpour muffled all sounds that not even Midorima could hear. He furrowed when he saw her lips were moving, saying something that he couldn't hear.

"-soon…we…will…meet…again…" was the only thing he could hear before she looked at him. Perplexed at the expression on her face, "Doc…tor…can...I...ask…you…for…a…favor…?" hesitated, he nodded.

"I…need…to…push…them…away…" he frowned, "Why?" the bluenette bit her lower lip, "If…they…stay…by…my…side…they…will…get…hurt…or…even…worst…"

.

.

"Several winters passed by I finally realized this feeling, I can't say it out loud, but our hearts are always connected, right?"

"-killed." Midorima ended his explanations. He leaned against the wall, "I've watched her everyday struggling to stay strong. It's even worst at night, she cries herself to sleep for the guilt that was building inside her." He looked at the white floor as the rest listened to him, "The worst thing for someone like her was, to watch someone she loves so much, killed in front of her and it was because of her, they died."

He noticed Hibiki was the only one who was not surprised by what he said, "It seems you knew about this. Why didn't you stop Kagami from coming?" all eyes focused on the man the doctor was looking at. Hibiki sighed, "Sorry, Kagami. I did know about this from the day we visited Haizaki's grave. I can read lips' language."

"I knew she was doing all these because she wanted to protect us. I knew she was hurting but I also knew that I couldn't do anything about it." Kagami roared, "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!" Hibiki stayed calm, "Because it's her wish. Kagami, do remember that she is running out of time. There is nothing we can do but to fulfill her wishes. So, I understood why the doctor refused our presence when we came back to celebrate her birthday." He pried Kagami's hands off of his collar.

"She's dying, Kagami as we speak."

"It's dark, I can't see anything…I can't hear anything…its scary…It's painful…It's lonely…"

Trembling, she grabbed the markers. Then, she opened the music sheets. Her tears kept dropping. The door slides open, as her doctor, Midorima enters. "Kuroko?" he noticed her struggling to write, despite the dropping pearls of tears.

"You should rest for a while. You've been at this for hours, haven't you?" he tries to persuade her. She shook her head, "If…I …don't write…what…I wan…ted...to…write…what…I…have…in…my…heart…I…will…regret…it." she held onto the black marker tightly as she continued writing.

Kagami who was standing at the door, was speechless as he watched his beloved sister struggling while holding back her tears,'God if you truly exist…please answer me…why did you chose Tetsu…?'

Kuroko looked at Midorima, her sapphires glistened with tears, "It's…my…proof…of…life…"

"I want to dedicate it to you, a song of parting in my last moment, I want to tell you…thank you"

A/N -There ya go, chapter 28. We're officially down to 2 chapter. 2 more weeks. I'm sure you all wondering how am I going to end this story. That, I will leave to your imaginations. Pretty much on this chapter, it focused on Kagami, Midorima and Kuroko. Midorima has lost his job. Kagami is on denial. Kuroko was rushing against time. What was she doing on that music sheets.

Either way, please review :)

The last two chapter will take some time to update because I'm not in tune with this book right now. It's been like this for the past two week. I don't want the quality to drop, which is why I must say this, it will take longer for me to write last two chapters. I'm sorry for keeping ya guys waiting.

Also, Fate and Destiny will be the last fic I will post on here. Once this fic ends, I will no longer be around here. All of my stories will continue updated in wattpad - you can find me at WinterRaineeDay .

Thank you for reading.
