Harry was so happy to learn he was pregnant. He knew Abraxas had been wanting children for years, but was happy to wait for his husband. Harry wanted to be hands on, even if he would never be a stay at home dad. And being done his apprenticeship, he could take a term off with the baby, and return at Christmas. Charlie had to take a semester off from vet training, and though he got back into it, he agreed Harry was right. He loved Prewett, but he would have waited himself, if he had a choice. This time he had, and though not close, it did become a three way. Charlie announced his pregnancy in late March, due in early December. And Draco shocked all, when he chose to be the carrier, and announced his own pregnancy a few weeks after Charlie, due in the New Year. Harry and Charlie had thought that Fred would make it a brother three way, none had imagined a Malfoy pregnant, but they were wrong. Draco had never thought in the past, but when he and Fred spoke, he liked the idea. He was done law school, and working as a lawyer but for his dad, so it was easy enough for him to take time as well.
Harry was of course first, but he could turn to Charlie and others for advice on the baby. Remus was a comfort for him, though he had never been pregnant. Harry was missing the presence of his parents more, with the pending birth, and having both his Uncles had been a comfort. He got the baby shower and all, and his pregnancy had run quite smooth. They had decided not to find out the gender of the baby, before it was born.
A few weeks before school Fred turned to his husband as they headed into the castle. "Excited?"
Draco laughed. "About my Uncle? Of course."
Fred smirked. "It could be an Aunt you know."
Draco shook his head. "Malfoys have boys first."
Fred reminded him. "Your dad is the first."
Draco shrugged. "I guess there hasn't been a generation with two Malfoys in a while."
Fred agreed. "Took eighteen years to give you a sibling."
Draco nodded. "Maybe it should be an Aunt."
Fred was surprised. "Why the change around?"
Draco shrugged. "My dad may need the advice."
Fred realized. "Getting a little sister are you?"
Draco nodded. "Dad and Charlie finally found out."
Fred held his husband. "Do you regret not finding out?"
Draco shook his head. "No, I think Harry and Grandsire had it right."
The family was there and Lucius smiled. "Right on time almost to go in."
Fred was surprised. "The baby already came?"
Molly smiled. "About a half hour ago."
Fred was worried Harry had to have surgery, as the baby was a bit early as well. Unfortunately male pregnancies were delicate, and could happen. But he was assured Harry had a natural birth, and he and the baby were both healthy. No one had been told, Remus was in with them and his husband was acting as nurse for Poppy, but no one knew. Harry it seemed had been in labor since just after midnight, it was now midafternoon, but had not let his husband call anyone. Remus and Severus he had allowed, but the others were only told, when he had grown closer. Molly had been here for hours, but she had her suspicions after seeing Harry the day before, that he would give birth soon.
They were eventually ushered into the room, where Harry and his husband lay in bed with each other. The Malfoys, Weasleys, Tonks family, and Neville and Luna all came in. Oliver and Katie would have come, but they were away for a game with their team.
Lucius was shocked. "I am seeing things."
Fred laughed. "Thought George was having all the fun?"
George shrugged. "Trend setters."
Harry looked up. "Luckily one of each, hopefully not such trouble."
Remus shook his head. "I have a feeling a daughter of your will be a handful."
Lucius took his little sister to all surprise. "Looks a lot like Draco and Prewett."
Molly had the little boy. "Save Harry's eyes and hair."
Ron smirked. "Odd to see a Malfoy without blonde hair. Well, I mean…."
Abraxas laughed. "Lucius was the first."
Draco shared a smile with his husband. "I guess you were right."
Fred laughed. "So this is what a female Malfoy looks like."
Lucius shared his son in law's laugh. "Has been a few hundred years."
Arthur shook his head. "Thought our family was bad."
Hermione handed Harry a gift. "Speaking of the first female Weasley in a hundred years, she sent this."
Harry smiled. "I hope she comes home for a visit soon."
Molly and Arthur had been shocked as any when she moved, going to Boston, but happy for her. She loved her new city, and had started dating an American business man. She was coming home for Christmas, and would meet the twins, and Charlie's daughter as well. Her new boyfriend was brave, he was making the trip with her. The attention turned back to the twins, and questions of godparents. Deciding not to choose his son or grandson Abraxas chose their husbands, Charlie for their little girl who was born first, and Fred for their son. Harry had followed a similar path, in choosing the wives of his witnesses, in his case Angie and Hermione. Angie was sharing honors with Charlie, and Hermione with Fred. George and Ron were both good, since both their wives were chosen, and George's twin. Harry would consider Neville or Oliver for a third child.
Hermione smiled at her little godson. "I am so honored."
Ron assured him. "Good choices."
Remus asked. "Well spill it."
Harry played coy. "Spill what?"
Severus smirked. "The names."
Harry looked at his husband. "Have we chosen any?"
Abraxas shrugged. "Perhaps one day."
Molly didn't find it funny. "We will name them for you, if you don't spill."
Poppy had the birth forms. "And I will let them do it."
Harry finally gave in. "We have named our little Potter heiress, Caterina Eileen Malfoy."
Abraxas did their son. "And our little Black heir is Theodore Orion Malfoy."
Remus smiled. "Your mother would have approved."
Harry had tears. "I wish she and my dad were here to see them."
Severus reminded his nephew. "Their family is with them."
Their daughter was named for both of Harry's grandmothers. Caterina was the Latin of Catherine, for James' mother, choosing that form to follow the Malfoy tradition. Eileen was not only his maternal grandmother, but honored his Uncle Severus as well. Theodore, though also Ted's name, was named for his paternal grandfather. Abraxas' middle name was Theodorus, the name of his dad, like Lucius had Abraxas as a middle name. Since they had Latinized Catherine for their daughter, they had Anglicized Theodorus for their son. Orion of course was chosen to honor Harry's maternal grandfather, as well as his beloved Uncle who he missed a lot.
Harry and Abraxas had a picture with the twins. Abraxas smiled. "I can't wait to bring you, Teddy and Cate home to see the nursery."
The nursery had needed some re-working, but Harry had loved the amazing African theme his husband had done for the twins. Harry was restless, and did some marking for his class, but he loved being with the twins. Dobby and another elf were trained, and were taking care of the twins in the New Year when he returned to school. In the end of November, Charlie gave birth a week early, to the second female Malfoy. Twenty year old Draco and two year old Prewett were joined by little sister Elena Abbigail. Lucius may never have imagined a daughter, but his little girl had him wrapped around her pinkie, with her first snuggle with him.
Christmas time brought a huge celebration at the manor. Four new children including Bill's daughter, and Draco and Hermione pregnant, things were joyous. Everyone was happy that Ginny had returned home for the holidays, as she had a few weeks off.
Ginny smiled when she got home Christmas eve. "I have missed this place."
Molly hugged her. "You have been missed."
Arthur agreed. "You need to come more."
Ginny assured them. "I want to introduce you to Sean."
Sean was a tall dark haired man next to her. "Nice to meet you."
Arthur offered his hand. "Our daughter has told us a great deal."
Molly smiled. "I am happy you accepted the invite."
Harry's voice came from the door. "Shows your bravery."
Ginny turned and hugged him and kissed the little baby in his arms. "I am so excited to see her and her brother."
Harry let her take Cate. "She is anxious to meet you."
Sean offered his hand. "Harry, I believe?"
Harry shook his hand. "I'd be prepared."
Sean was worried. "Prepared?"
Arthur laughed. "He means the brothers are waiting."
Ginny laughed when he paled. "I warned you, I had six, and Harry."
Sean was an only child, but Ginny had met his parents recently. He was born and raised in Boston, and his parents lived not far. Sean worked high up in an American wizarding bank, as well as being part owner of his family business. He and Ginny had been dating for six months only, but it was serious, if Sean had come home with her. No one knew, but Sean had brought a ring, and planned to ask Arthur's permission. It would be a while till he proposed, but he was old fashioned. He wanted Arthur's permission, and it was not something to ask over the floo.
The brothers and their spouses were in the sitting room, as well as their children as well. Sean was definitely going to get the run down, and he was barely in the room, before it started. Draco was not much help, but the sister in laws did try to tame their husbands.
Ginny turned to Harry. "Can I borrow Teddy?"
Harry smirked. "Why are you borrowing my son?"
Ginny pointed. "Hermione has Cate at the moment."
Harry handed over his son. "I guess you haven't held him."
Ginny laughed. "Meant for my boyfriend."
Harry was confused. "Does he like kids a lot?"
Ginny nodded. "Yes, but more for protection."
Harry understood. "Your brothers won't hex him with my son."
Ginny shrugged. "Worth a try."
Harry laughed. "He seems to be holding his well."
Abraxas overheard. "I don't think I like the sound of my son being used as a shield."
Ginny turned to him. "He is godson to a few."
Harry added. "Not to mention Uncle and brother in law."
Though she kept a hold of Teddy, Ginny did admit that Sean was holding his own. He handled it all in good humor, as the brothers were not really out for blood with him. Ginny had never dated seriously, when she was here in the country, and they had never had the chance. She had dated a bit in school, but nothing like this. Having six older brothers, Ginny had always known would make dating hard.
Molly came to his rescue. "Time for dinner."
Fred shook his head. "Was going to show Sean the shed."
George had an odd look. "And finish the chat."
Molly shook her head. "I believe he has passed the test."
Arthur agreed. "And the rest of us are hungry."
Bill clapped Sean on the back. "You have."
Charlie did add. "But if you hurt her….."
Fred finished. "Boston is not too far away."
Even Harry added. "For any of us."
Sean assured them. "I don't plan to."
Harry reached for his son. "I will take him."
Ginny shook her head. "Happy where he is."
Molly smiled as she watched Charlie with Elena, and Fleur with Dominique. "My family, growing every year."
Arthur laughed. "May need an extension."
They may have had an empty nest, but the house came in handy. They had plenty of room for grandchildren to come visit, and often had them. Though the elves would have the twins, Molly would babysit during the day from time to time. Prewett was often at the Burrow, and his sister would be, when she was a bit older as well. Molly was in heaven with all the new children to knit for, and sit for.
Arthur raised a toast. "A Merry Christmas to all, and cheers to all our new blessings."
AN: Well after waiting and waiting and getting 2 votes and almost no names, I finally have a new chapter. You know where the review button is.
Caterina Eileen: Caterina (Latin) variation of Catherine which means pure beauty. Mentioned as James' mother's name. Latin for the Malfoys. Eileen (English) either light or bird like. For Lily and Severus' mother. Suggestions for a name to honor the Princes and Lily, tried to do both. Baby named for both of Harry's grandmothers.
Theodore Orion: Theodore (Greek) divine gift. Yes, I know Ted's name, but always loved Teddy. Abraxas' middle name was said to be Theodorus, his father's name. Suggestion to give the baby Abraxas as a middle name, but Lucius has it, so went with his middle name. Honors Abraxas and the baby's grandfather. Since Catherine was Latinized for the Malfoys, Theodorus was Anglicized for the Potters. Orion (Greek) hunter. Honors Harry's maternal grandfather, as well as his beloved Uncle.
Elena Abbigail: Elena (Latin) Light or torch. Name from Arthurian legend for Charlie's family, but a Latin name for the Malfoys. Abbigail (Hebrew) father's joy. Name suggestion for Harry's baby. She will be sure to even have Lucius wrapped about her finger
One last chapter left including Draco's baby, and then I will be up for a new challenge.
