Third pov

When we see ourselves in the future, we expect good things, after all no one expected themselves to be in an accident, such as a car crash, and we could say the same for Lorien.

They didn't expect to get invaded, well at least not most of them.

We talk of Lorien as a planet, but what were the people like?

As far as the garde know, from what they remember and heard from their fallen guardians, cepans, it was peaceful with no crime, people were good to each other, it was a beautiful, flourishing, planet.

Of course, if they went back now, it would be hard to believe, as the floors were not floors, covered in debris, and a dark rocky surface covered the dirt that could not let anything grow in its state. There was simply nothing to grow. Lakes were dried, and it became polluted as Mogadore, simply not a place to live. The skies were dark every hour, and nothing happened. All precipitation disappeared.

Although no one can see it, spirits walk the rocky, dark surface that disgust everyone living person that sees it. Spirits that were once Loric that lived on the same surface, but when it was a flourishing paradise.

Sadly it cannot be described as that at the moment.

A child walks, aimlessly, wondering what was going on. His three years of age in his short Loric life was paradise to him, he was a fellow cepan, although he did not know at the time.

Another, a garde this time, a young twelve year old, she stares at her hands, wondering why her legacy to make light would not work.

Everyone thinks the walk alone on the planet, very soul unaware or the other souls.

They see wreckage. They see fires that were still not out. They were all horrified. But even if they did feel that way, it wouldn't change a thing.

It was a pitying thought. But there was no point in feeling that way.

In the end, it would mean nothing but uselessness.
