Hello everyone. Since some of you wanted to hear the conversation between Cyrus and Fitz, I decided to throw this in as I work on the next chapter. Thank you all for reading whether you comment or not. As always, Happy Olitzing!
"Ok Cyrus, I'm here. What did you need to talk to me about?" Fitz asked as he and Liv entered Cyrus' office.
"Maybe we should do this without Liv." Cyrus said rather uncomfortably.
"Maybe I should go, let the two of you talk." Liv interrupted sensing there was possibly a storm brewing.
"No Liv stays. She and I have no secrets. Whatever you need to say to me in a friend capacity can be said in front of her. What is it Cyrus."
Cyrus looked at Liv who was standing in the doorway arms crossed, waiting to hear what Cyrus had to say.
"Ok well, I stopped by the living quarters yesterday to invite the two of you over to have dinner with James and me next weekend. I accidentally overheard the two of you talking about paying people to um... be on their knees." Cyrus choked out as he adjusted the collar of his shirt trying to find the nerve to go on. "Now, whatever happened between the two of you you're now married so Liv I don't care what she does on or off of her knees with you. But paying someone else when your wife is right there I cannot allow. You are the President of the United States. You have no business dealing with call girls."
Fitz looked at Liv who had a devilish gleam in her eyes. Fitz knew exactly what she was thinking.
"So Cyrus, you now know that Fitz pays people to drop to their knees for him. Honestly I find nothing wrong with that as long as he only drops to his knees when I'm around. I mean I've done it in the oval, in the living quarters, in my apartment many, many, many times. Hell, I've even done it in your house with Fitz, and Fitz did it once with James while I supervised. Its perfectly natural." Liv said in a very nonchalant tone.
"Yea Cy, James even taught me a few tricks. Liv was very impressed with his teachings."
Cyrus jumped out of his seat. "My husband gave you a blow job?"
"No! He taught me how to get a stain out of the carpet!" Fitz said his voice booming with laughter.
"Calm down Cyrus, what you heard was Fitz flipping out over me scrubbing a stain out of the carpet on my hands and knees. Had you stuck around for the end of the conversation, you would have known. Then again, maybe it's better you didn't." Liv said as she watched her friend realize they were teasing him.
"You two are real assholes you know that?" Cyrus responded in a teasing tone knowing he had just told on himself.
Liv and Fitz couldn't stop laughing and Cyrus eventually joined in the laughter as well.
"So, when do you want Liv and me over for dinner?"
"Next Saturday night. You are bringing Savannah too aren't you?"
Liv gave Cyrus a look that spoke many words. He knew full well that Liv didn't go anywhere without the baby in tow.
"I'll take that as a yes then?"
"Yes Cy. We wouldn't miss it for the world and yes, Savannah will be with us. Now if you'll excuse us, Fitz has a little time before his next appointment so we are going to spend some time together before the world takes him away."
"Does this time involve me on my knees?" Fitz said in a low tone licking his lips.
"Only if you're a good boy." Liv responded licking hers.
"Okay, get your horny asses out of my office. Scoot!" Cyrus said reminding them he was in the room.
They really were like teenagers. They were always all over each other, tongues down each others throats. Fitz would find any reason to touch Liv sneaking in feels here and there. What he wouldn't have to be in a relationship like those two Cyrus thought to himself as he returned his attention back to his work.
Fitz sat in the Oval looking at the presidential seal. His mind went back to the day he and Liv made love right in that spot. In fact, everywhere he looked in the oval reminded him of some sexual encounter they shared. They definitely left their mark on this White House. He and Liv had an amazing sex life which is something he never thought possible before he met her. She took him to depths he had never ventured. He encouraged her to try new things. Together they opened themselves fully to one another. He was definitely a lucky man. But he also knew their marriage couldn't survive on mind blowing sex alone.
The six weeks they couldn't have sex Fitz worked most of the time while Liv tensed to Savannah. By the time he finished and returned home, Liv was either already asleep, or just as exhausted as he was. It was time to bring more than sex i to their lives. It was time to bring in the romance.
"Lauren, can you come into my office please?" Fitz asked through the intercom.
"Yes sir."
Fitz waited a moment for Lauren to enter.
"Close the door please."
"Every hour for the next six hours I want a two dozen white flowers delivered to my wife. I've written six notes. I want one to accompany each delivery along with little trinkets. I want this to accompany the final delivery." Fitz said as he handed Lauren a box that contained a diamond necklace.
"Yes sir. Any particular flowers?"
"Orchids, Lillies, the most exotic flowers imaginable. Send the roses last along with the necklace and the last note. I'll also need a bouquet for the seventh hour I'll need them brought here so I can take them home."
"Yes sir, Mrs. Grant will be so happy. Anything else sir?"
"Yes, can you call the kitchen and have them prepare a romantic dinner for two. Im going to woo my wife tonight."
"Yes sir, I'll get right on it."
"Thank you Lauren." Fitz said as Lauren headed back towards her desk.
Fitz decided to call Liv. He didn't normally have time to in the middle of the day, but he had a few moments and wanted to hear her voice.
"Hi."
"Hi."
"Shouldn't you be working?"
"I had a few moments and I wanted to hear your voice so I figured I'd call."
"Well you can call anytime."
"How's the baby?"
"She's fine. I just laid her down before you called."
"I love you."
"I love you too Fitz."
"Bye."
"Bye."
Liv hung up the phone feeling a warmth throughout her entire body. She was definitely a very blessed woman to have a man that loves her so much. Liv sat down on the couch and turned on the news. She hadn't had much time to catch up on world events, and there was no time like the present. She watched as she realized the world was pretty boring today and decided to turn on Ellen. She sat back on the couch with popcorn in hand and enjoyed the show. A few minutes before it was over there was a knock at the door.
"Who is it?"
"Tom."
Liv went to open the door and saw Tom standing there with two dozen Lillies.
"Special delivery from POTUS to FLOTUS. Where do you want them?"
Liv pointed to the living room table, thanked Tom and watched as he walked away. Liv went over to the lillies and read the card inside.
7 1/2 months ago today, you made me the happiest man alive as we proclaimed our love for one another for the whole world to see. I love you, Fitz
Liv felt tears swell up in her eyes as she placed the card back in the holder and took a picture. She sent the picture to Fitz along with a message.
"I love them, they are beautiful. Thank you honey."
Liv sat back down on the couch and continued watching television. An hour later there was another knock on the door.
"Who is it?"
"Tom again ma'am."
Liv went to the door yet again and opened it for Tom. This time he was standing there with orchids.
"Where would you like these ma'am?"
Liv pointed to the dining room and told him to place them on the table. He did as he was told, Liv thanked him and watches him walked away again. This delivery came with a note as well and also had a teddy bear.
My dearest Livvie, words cannot express how much I love you. 6 1/2 months ago today we celebrated our one month wedding anniversary. Every day I am thankful for having you in my life. I'm in love with you, Fitz
Liv felt the tears begin to swell her eyes yet again. If he was trying to woo her, this was definitely working. Liv took a picture of these flowers and sent a text similar to the first.
Liv sat on the couch bored out of her mind. She was not the television type of person, and she had read every book in her library at least twice. She decided to pull out her iPad and browse online for a bit. An hour went by and there was yet another knock on the door.
"Tom?"
"The one and only!" Tom responded as Liv opened the door.
This time he was holding two dozen daffodils. Liv told him to leave them on the table by the door. She thanked him and watches him walk away yet again. Liv read the card.
4 1/2 months ago today, we left for Camp David and celebrated our three month wedding anniversary. We passed a patch of daffodils and you stopped and picked one saying they were the most beautiful flowers you had ever seen. They had survived the snow and were blooming proud and tall just like our love. You are the love of my life, Fitz
Liv texted Fitz yet again thanking him for the flowers. He was definitely up to something.
Liv heard Savannah crying and went into the nursery to change and feed her. She sat in the rocking chair and started singing to her daughter. She finished feeding her and heard another knock at the door. Liv knew who it was.
"Come in Tom." Liv yelled walking towards the door with Savannah. This time he was carrying two dozen white wildflowers and balloons. Liv pointed over to the dining room and told Tom to place them on the table with the others. Liv read the note:
Livvie, 2 months ago today, we returned from Savannah and spoke of how much we loved that name for a girl. We hadn't set it in stone yet, but I am grateful that we did. You and our daughter are the most important beings in my life. My every feeling is controlled by the look on your face,
Fitz
Liv couldn't believe how sweet Fitz was being. She texted him again thanking him for the wonderful surprise.
"Your daddy sure knows how to woo a lady doesn't he?" Liv said to Savannah as she walked over to the sofa and prepared her for her bath.
Liv bathed Savannah and put her in a onesie, preparing her for her nap.
No sooner than she laid her down there was yet another knock on the door.
"Come in Tom!"
Tom opened the door and walked in. This time he was holding two dozen white Tulips and chocolate covered strawberries.
"Don't worry ma'am, I'll find a place for them." Tom laughed noticing the house was beginning to resemble a funeral home.
Tom set the flowers down on the bar and headed out closing the door behind him.
Liv once again read the card.
Every morning I wake up and place my head over your heart. I listen to the sound of your heart beating and that sound carries me through the rest of the day until I return home to you.
I can't breathe without you, I cant sleep without you.
Liv once again texted her husband and returned to the living room. She was getting hungry and decided to call down and have dinner brought up for her and Fitz.
"Ma'am, the president has already taken care of dinner. It is being made now."
"Thank you."
Liv pulled out a binder and began going over tasks she had to perform the following day. in the middle of reading through her appointments, there was another knock on the door.
"Come in Tom."
Tom opened the door and looked at Liv. She he was carrying two dozen long stemmed white roses and a box. Ma'am, the only surface left is in your bedroom. Liv showed Tom to the bedroom where he placed the roses and left. Liv opened the box which contained a beautiful diamond necklace she set the box down and opened the card.
I wait for you, I watch for you. I exist for you. Turn around,
Fitz
Liv turned around and Fitz was standing behind her holding the final delivery. It was a beautiful mix of every flower that bad been delivered through the day.
"Fitz, what is all of this?" Liv asked as she walked over to her husband planting a kiss on his lips.
"Just me being spontaneous I suppose."
"Thank you. I enjoyed every delivery. Although I think Tom was getting a little irritated." Liv said, her tone more amused than it should have been.
"Im glad you liked them. Now come, dinner is here." Fitz said with a smile on his face.
The dinner prepared for them was amazing. Fitz had ordered crab cakes and scallops for an appetizer, and lobster bisque with Quinoa and vegetables for the main course. They spent the evening talking and laughing enjoying the company of one another. They laid on the couch and prepared to watch movies for the rest of the evening.
Liv woke up to the sound of Savannah crying. She looked around her and realized she was in their bed with Fitz's arms wrapped around her. Liv tried to ease her way out of Fitz's grip but he woke up anyway.
"You stay in bed, I'll take care of her." Fitz said as he kissed Liv and climbed out of bed making his way to the nursery.
Liv woke up the next morning and made her way into the nursery to feed Savannah but she wasn't there. She looked at the clock and realized it was 8 am. Fitz made sure she slept through the night. Liv looked around the living quarters and found a note on the living room table.
I knew today was your first day back to performing your duties, and I wanted you to be well rested before a day full of meetings. Savannah is in the Oval with me. We are fine, I'll hand her over to Marta once my meetings begin. Come kiss me before you go. Fitz
Liv smiled at the note and went to get dressed for a very long day before heading over to the oval to say goodbye to Fitz and the baby.
She looked herself over and finished her final touchups to her makeup and made her way to the oval.
Liv opened the door and saw Fitz holding Savannah and singing to her.
"You know there is nothing sexier than a man holding a baby. Well, maybe that man singing to the baby."
Fitz looked up at Liv and immediately had second thoughts about her leaving the white house. He looked down at Savannah and began talking to her. "Who's that? Is that mommy? Is mommy here? Yes she is! Yes she is!"
"Liv, you are the sexiest First Lady in history. That dress looks amazing on you. I may have to up your security detail."
Liv walked around the desk and kissed Savannah on the forehead before kissing Fitz.
"Don't you wanna stay a little longer?"
"Hmmm, as much as I'd love to, I'd better get going before I have to cancel all of my appointments today. I love you." Liv said as she kissed Fitz one more time and walked out the door.
Fitz looked at the baby once more. "It's just daddy and his little girl today. I can't wait til mommy comes home."
