Authors note
Sorry I'm so sporadic about posting. I have never been, nor will I ever be (I'm sure) a ritualistic person...I can't even remember to take vitamins everyday. That and I'm an idiot and decided to add to my life by getting a Chihuahua and starting an authors festival in the town I work in. Like I said, idiot.
Tony decided to call Michele on the way to his apartment in case there was an issue with his idea.
Michele picked up after only one ring, "Tony?" his voice very unsure.
"Michele. I uh was wondering?" Tony suddenly thought this was a very bad idea, started to rethink his plan.
"Yes Tony?"
"Oh well I was wondering about maybe coming to the enclave to um feed?" Tony's voice was unsure and high.
"Is everything alright with your family Tony?"
"Yeah, sort of. I want to give them a break for a few days. There is so much stress and I think everyone is a little tired and run down."
"Oh yes I understand. Yes I'm sure I can find a few partners for you. Do you have a preference?"
"Oh as to gender? Uh um women I guess. I well."
"Tony it's alright. You do not have to explain to me."
"Thanks."
"When would you like to come?"
"Oh maybe in a couple hours?"
"That's fine. Would you like one or more?"
"Oh god Michele, I uh I don't know. Maybe two I guess. I drank a little extra from Ziva today and felt better. But I don't want to over do it and mess with rugrat."
"I can understand that. But you might want to build up a little and see how you feel. Maybe you have been underfeeding and that is why a little extra made you feel better."
"True. I'm sure rugrat is taking something from me."
Michele tried to keep the grin from his voice. Tony's way of dealing with this was to not to think of the baby as a baby. If it worked for the young hemophage then he would accept it.
"I will arrange for others just encase. You would like to do this for a few days?"
"Yeah. Just tonight and tomorrow. I'll see how I feel after that."
"It maybe a good idea to think of this as a weekend activity while you are…"
"Uh yeah I'll think about it and talk to everyone."
"Sure."
"I'll call before I head over?"
"Alright."
"Goodbye Michele."
Tony hung up and swallowed down the dread building. He really didn't want to make this part of his routine. But he had to do what was best for him and rugrat.
At his apartment he walked up the stair with Jethro. "Guess I won't have to worry about the elevator always being broken."
"No, wouldn't want you trying to take the stairs in a few months."
"Me neither."
Jethro and Tony made short work of taking the drawers out of the dresser and taking them down stairs and setting them inside the truck.
The dresser was a little harder. The choices where either Tony walking backwards and lifting it higher to even out carrying it for Jethro or taking the heavier end and going down the steps the right way. As they stood in the hall arguing about it Tony's neighbors son walked by with a friend.
"Hey how would you two like to make twenty bucks?" Jethro asked before Tony could stop him.
"Sure." This kid shrugged.
"There's a truck down stairs in the third visitors slot. Put this in the back. Tony pulled his back tackling a perp and I don't want him lifting it." Jethro lied easily covering for the real reason he didn't want Tony lifting the heavy wooden dresser.
"Sure Agent Gibbs. Come on Jack." Both boys picked up the dresser and started for the stairs.
"Come on lets get your suits." Jethro said pulling Tony back into his apartment.
Tony just shook his head in frustration. "I would have been alright. I feel much better."
"I know but why chance it. I've got it covered and they could use the extra money."
"I suppose. You do realize an armful of my suits weighs as much as that dresser, right?"
"Maybe but its easier to drop them then your dresser."
Tony gave into that one, he had a point.
In the parking lot Jethro gave the boys their money, and had them help him pull a tarp over the dresser so they could go up for the last of Tony's suits.
"Are you leaving Agent Dinozzo?" The boy asked.
"Yes. It's time. Things are always broken here and well there are a few other reasons." Tony said being evasive.
"Well, Mom will be sorry to see you go. She always felt better about you living in the building. Even if you weren't here often."
"Yeah a bunch of us are moving into a place together. Then only one person has to run home to take care of pets and plants and stuff."
"Seems like a smart idea." Kyle said with a sad smile.
"Yeah so uh thanks for the help. I'm going to have a moving company come in and pack everything."
"So don't worry if I see a bunch of strange people in your apartment?" Kyle offered.
Tony nodded and said, "Yep. I'll say goodbye to your mom before I'm gone."
"Thanks." The boys disappeared back into the building and Jethro and Tony left.
At the house Jimmy and Tim unloaded the dresser while everyone took a drawer inside. Tony and Jethro took the suits in and hung them in the master bedroom.
"Why did we decide to do this again?" Tony asked.
"Because you need us around." Abby said wrapping her arms around Tony's chest, she laying her head on his back.
"Are you changing your mind Tony?" Jimmy asked.
"No, No just remembering how badly I hate moving."
Everyone laughed, "No one likes moving." Jimmy said patting Tony on the shoulder. "Hungry?" He asked at the door.
"Um did Ziva mention this weekend?" Tony said hesitantly?
Everyone nodded. "I'm uh well going to head over in a few. I, everyone is run..." Tony shrugged. "I want to give everyone a break. I called Michele."
"Are you sure Tony?" Abby said, still draped over Tony.
"Mostly. I'm afraid I…" Tony paused, "I'm afraid I'm eating for two."
"You fear the baby is a hemophage?" Ducky enquired.
"Yeah I took a little more from Ziva this morning. Just an extra couple of swallows. I feel better than I have for…"
"You feel better since you changed." Jethro finished.
Tony shrugged.
"If you need more than is safe for us to offer Tony, go. Don't deprive yourself." Tim said. "Why should your health suffer? This is like the plague all over again. Why do you keep doing this Tony?" Tim stepped up to Tony. "Why?"
"I didn't know, Tim. I've taken the same amount since the day I woke up. Or well ya know, give or take. But," shrugging again, "Guess I'm as close to an anorexic vampire as you can get? Eating enough to make it but not enough to be healthy."
Abby softly hit Tony's shoulder and said, "Go. Eat, feast, stuff yourself."
"Abby I'm not usually the one being stuffed."
Jethro tried not to laugh at that one, but then everyone laughed as Abby slid her hands down and laid them on Tony's slightly swollen stomach.
Tony could feel his face go beet red, obviously he had been "stuffed" at least once.
"I'm sorry Tony. I didn't mean it like that."
"I know Abbs it's fine. I'm going to go, you know before I change my mind."
Abby let go and Tony quickly left, making it to the front door before he felt a hand on his arm.
"Will you be okay?"
"I think I should be asking you that question."
Jethro smiled, "Tony I knew the first day you kissed me this was not going to be a traditional relationship."
"Is that your way of saying you know I'm not monogamous?"
"No that's my way of saying being kissed by a vampire is not a tradition relationship." Jethro kissed Tony on the cheek, "Go, feed be full, be healthy. Besides I know where you sleep and that's enough for me."
Tony swallowed the emotions fighting to well up. "Thank you."
Jethro just smiled and nudged Tony towards the door.
The drive to the clan's compound took longer from the new house but Tony was fine with that. He was still uneasy about dealing with them on any level, but at the end of the day he knew had little choice. Pulling into the under ground parking he found Michele waiting for him.
"Tony."
Tony signed and nodded, "Michele, I need to ask you a question."
"Anything Tony."
"Will they remember?"
Michele lifted a well manicured eyebrow, "Remember?"
"Yeah see when this first happened um no one remembered me, well anything. Even the couple times I had to drink from someone I knew, they didn't remember. The first person to remember was Jethro."
"Everyone remembers. That is very peculiar, Tony."
"Oddly enough I didn't remember that they didn't remember until earlier today. I don't maybe they were to embarrassed but they should have reacted in some way..."
"I will ask." Michele said opening a door leading into a hallway. "Second door on the right, there are three woman waiting for you. Pick whoever you like. If all these suit, please feel free. Take what you need. Our doctors will know when it is safe for them to join in again."
Tony swallowed and nodded. He walked to the room and stood outside the door for a moment. This is what he needed to do. Opening the door he wasn't sure what to expect, but the beautiful decor and opulent bed was not anywhere on the list. Nor were the three women sitting on it. Tony groaned, they all seemed to fit a vampire groupie stereotype, the stacked blond, the dark goth wanna-be and the bookworm with glasses. Granted they were all beautiful, but stereotyped none the less.
The bookworm spoke first, "Hello Tony, Michele said you are new and needed to feed well. We are all polycythemia's. Please take what you need. He said that your lovers need a break, we have no steady lovers, so you will not be disrupting someone else's feeding." As she talked she had walked closer to Tony, like one would with a wounded animal, slow steady even steps. Now that she had reached Tony, she reached out and placed a hand on his arm, "My name is Tina, this is Janice," pointing to the blond, "And this is Samantha."
"If you are all polycythemia's then how come you haven't been snapped up?" Tony asked, his voice husky.
Janice got up and walked over much more assured than Tina, "Because we prefer a variety. We like meeting the new ones and helping them learn to drink."
"Uh ladies I'm not really that new...I know what I need to do."
"We still like variety, Tony." Samantha spoke but didn't leave the bed, instead laying down on her side.
Tony let Janice and Tina pull him towards the bed and push him down next to Samantha. Just as quickly they were all naked and Tony was kissing Samantha.
"Ladies, I, well who wants to go first? I've been told to eat, feast and stuff myself."
"We hoped that would the case." Tina said losing her glasses as she slid down Tony's cock.
The for the next few hours Tony screwed the trio and drank as much as he could. He finally fell in to an exhausted sleep with the girls wrapped around him.
