Tikhaos Theory

Or...

One More Day, in Cielo Isla

The Chaos Theory. The thought that anything wrong that can happen, will happen. Food for thought.

His stared to the skies. Turbulent rain drops crashed and splattered against his face. His black and red quills bounced through the wind. A thunderbolt fell from the funnel cloud; a tornado was brewing within. His vision shifted down from the mountain rage he stared upon. Water crashed over summits, falling down into the deepest of valleys. In the center of it all, one aquatic monster, which flailed and thrashed at all which surrounded it. The god's aquatic tendrils struck at the mountains, destroying them with powerful and quick movements.

He let it move to far. The city was a pure wreck, and now it was destroying mountains. He couldn't allow this chaos to drag on any further. His helmet moved back down upon his head, constricting his dark face from all those which gazed upon it. The flames from his shoes exploded with flames, propelling him into the air. He flew forward, fingers charging with yellow and cackling power. The green water dragon snapped its yellow snake eyes toward him; water tentacles now moving to strike him down.

Tikhaos. Starman.

He struck first, firing a Chaos Spear toward its opened maw. The water god swallowed the blast, whilst countering with a strike of its own. It missed, as he took evasive maneuvers to dodge further blows. Stopping a few yards away, the Starman's entire body began to flash red. The red aura soon settled into his hand, where he pulled it back to strike. Tossing it forward, he caused an explosion to break the god's body. Water was tossed in every direction, thanks to his explosive strike.

But Tikhaos was not satiated. It returned a mile away, its tendrils pressed upon the mountains around. With a mighty heave, the water god pushed away the two mountains around it. They crumbled thanks to the thrust, falling down into the constantly growing valley of water.

Tikhaos opened its mouth, causing a powerful beam to brew within. Without even thinking, the water god fired at the hedgehog which flew around it. The beam tore through the sky, missing just barely. The blue and white laser continued to fly, eventually causing a tremendous explosion over the horizon. The Starman spun back around, facing down the aquatic god which stared at him. Tikhaos suddenly struck, its tendril swallowing his body whole. Thanks to the Starman's impressive power though, he was able to deflect the attack by projecting a shield. But another attack like that would destroy his defenses; he needed to go on the offensive. Striking back now, he fired blast after blast after blast. They all riddled Tikhaos' body, triggering explosion after explosion. The god growled, only to strike back fanatically.

The Starman was knocked back by the strike, his body crashing into the wall of a mountainside. He got back to his feet in a dazed like fashion, trying to understand how things turned out this way. When he gazed back up to Tikhaos, he only had a few moments to spare before she struck at him. He dodged it, countered with a Chaos Spear, dodged another strike, stopped.

This was all being proved pointless. Unlike other opponents, he wasn't sure when all of this would come to a stop. Tikhaos just kept attacking and attacking; there was no end to her mayhem. But he couldn't give up, not yet. There had to be an end of this somewhere.

Somewhere.

He pulled back both hands, firing a star field of blasts upon his opponent. All of them struck Tikhaos, but very little caused any damage. It eventually attacked back, arms flailing wildly around. The mountain rage was no more by the time it stopped its violent rampage. The Starman appeared behind the god, arm poised to strike. Another blast flowed from his fingertips, causing water god to explode. This was a temporary solution however, for he now was hunched over, gasping violently for air. It took a real opponent to get him tired, and this was that opponent.

Tikhaos grew near, while the storm overhead finally touched down with the earth. Winds whipped violently in all directions, tornadoes of F5 proportions threw objects every which way, the rain was so violent, it hurt to the touch. The perfect storm, and it was only getting stronger. So was Tikhaos; as time went on, it got stronger too. Unfortunately, the yellow eyed god had eyes only on destruction. When would it all end?

The Starman stood tall, body preparing the mystical energies he had within. Turning red, he fired once more.

He stared up to the red echidna, jade eyes paying close attention to the jewel in hand. How did such an object fall into their hands? He couldn't help but to grab the diamond, marveling at the intense power it handed to him. Even though the energy was godlike, he felt almost none of it. It wasn't in his place to feel such a magnificent power. Not like how it was to everyone else.

The storm outside was stronger now than it was earlier. The floating island was not even spared of the battle raging beneath, it seemed. No one knew how long it would last in the sky, before the god below tears it down to the earth.

"Knuckles..." he whispered, "Where did you get this?"

"It just... sort of... fell from the sky..." the echidna answered, "But it doesn't matter... There's a war being waged down there, and we need to deal with it..." he shook his head in disdain, however, "But the Starman said not too..."

The Starman. That name sure did become reverent suddenly. Everyone was saying it. Tikal, Knuckles, the enemies they clashed with, just who the hell is the Starman? There's no way the Starman, the mythical god of judgment, is Shadow the hedgehog. His rival, the hedgehog who tried to destroy the world, and almost succeeded, is the Starman. No way in hell.

"You're just going to listen to him?" Sonic asked, annoyance in his voice.

"He's the Starman, Sonic," Knuckles answered as he crossed his arms, "He's an ancient echidna god. He even saved the world before all of us even existed," he scoffed soon after as he turned around, "Then again, what am I talking about. You wouldn't understand..."

"The Starman isn't real, Knux," Sonic stated, "He's Shadow the hedgehog!"

The echidna suddenly turned back around, facing Sonic with sharp purple eyes. If looks could kill, Sonic would have been set ablaze on the spot.

"Listen Sonic," he growled, "You may not believe in all echidna gods, but that doesn't mean you are allowed to make up lies!" he marched up, grabbing the blue blur by the neck, "There's no way Shadow the hedgehog and the Starman are the same people! The Starman has existed for over thousands of years! How was Shadow able to become a person thousands of years before he existed!"

"I don't know!" Sonic answered, "But I'm being honest! Shadow and the Starman are one in the same! I promise you this!" he shook his head; eyes closing shut, "Knuckles. I can't just stand here doing nothing. I have to do something..." he gazed at the Chaos Emerald in hand; its brilliance was amazing, "I'm not going to stand around doing nothing. Even if I die..."

"Be careful, Sonic," Knuckles remarked a smirk coming to his lips, "You've already died once..."

Sonic couldn't help but to rub the back of his neck, a slight chuckle exiting his lips.

"But I'm still going to do something..."

Knuckles gazed up to Sonic, seeing a stern face on the blue hedgehog's face. Verdant eyes moving down, he watched as the hero gazed to the green Chaos Emerald in hand.

"I don't want to do it," he whispered, "But the Starman told me to..."

"What did he tell you?" Knuckles asked.

"Shadow, err... Starman, told me to use the Eclipse Cannon and destroy Tikhaos if he fails..." he gazed to the ceiling of the room, "I'm warping up to the Ark and preparing the gun."

"Sonic, did you just hear yourself?" Knuckles asked, "You haven't the slightest clue how to fire that thing! Besides... he's the Starman... he won't fail..."

"I don't want to use that thing anymore than you do," Sonic replied, "But if I must..." he stared to the green Emerald in hand, "I must..." he shifted his vision back up to Knuckles, "Tell everyone I went to the Ark, okay? I don't want them worrying about me..."

He gazed back down to the green Chaos Emerald in hand. Honestly, he wasn't sure if the thing could get him to the space colony by itself. Shadow, of all people, needs at least three Chaos Emeralds to warp to space. All Sonic has is one, and he's nowhere near as strong in the ways of Chaos as Shadow is. Teleporting up there is like finding a needle in a hay stack. A very big hay stack. It's space! One misstep, and Sonic could find himself plummeting into the sun. Oh. That's not a thought he wanted in his head.

Weakly, he rose the Chaos Emerald in hand. And with unsureness blatant in his voice, he began to speak his command.

"C-C-Chaos... C-Cont..."

"Sonic stop!" Knuckles yelled, his hand meeting the hedgehog's shoulder, "If you try to warp up there, you'll fly directly into the sun..."

"Don't you think I know that!" Sonic said back, "You're ruining my concentration, Knux! Now please!"

"No, no, no," Knuckles remarked, "I'm coming with you... If anyone is getting you up there, it's me..."

"Are you sure?" Sonic asked, "I mean, sure, you have some... godly power going on, but I'm not feeling it. What if you thrust us into the sun?"

"I'm thinking about it..." the red echidna growled before he got tense, "CHAOS CONTROL!"

He uncurled from his ball, pain rumbling through his spine. When he gazed up, he found nothing but darkness staring back. Rocks, jagged sharp rocks, of course. He started to rumble, body starting to erupt with a most mystical of power. As soon as the explosion was triggered, the rocks were tossed sky-high. He growled again, his hand meeting the highway of his spine. It was still roaring with pain; it was unwise to stand. He ignored it.

Where was he now? In a field lined with rocks which jutted from the grassy ground. Eyes drifting skyward, he saw the being which he faced. Tikhaos, roaring with spite, struck the plateau which sat all around her. Nothing was spared her rage, not even the animals which ran for their lives. Such cruelty, it was horrible.

"Tikhaos!" the Starman roared, his cape flaring up with life.

He took off for the god, rolling his body into a ball to gain a powerful momentum. He suddenly slashed through the god's neck, appearing on the other end safely. If he thought that would do anything, he thought wrong. Tikhaos whipped around, striking his entire body with its aquatic limb. He fell into the sea which was the water god's body. As soon as he did, he recoiled, and began swimming for the liquid's top. Breaking through, he once again took to the skies. Tikhaos was so unimpressed by the Starman's actions, it continued to destroy the world which sat around. Did the god care it was killing thousands upon thousands? Did the god even know?

Yeah, the god knew exactly what it was doing. It just didn't care. Nope. Didn't care, didn't care. It didn't have a care in the world.

The Starman really needed to kick things into high gear. He looked up and down Tikhaos' body, searching in vain for the god's weak spot. He knew Chaos had a weak spot; the original god's brain was visible to all. But Tikhaos seemed to have no visible brain, anywhere on its body. This being was truly an upgrade.

"Okay..." he whispered to himself, "Let's try again!" he started charging his energy again, "Chaos..."

The water god erupted. Water was thrown everywhere thanks to the sudden explosion. The Starman gazed all around him as he tried to understand why. He wasn't the one who triggered the blast, so who else could have attacked. A fake blue hedgehog, that's who.

"STARMAN!" a certain doctor's voice yelled as he descended from the clouds.

His fish-like ships were dancing in the skies, circling around the water god and its foe with weapons drawn. Unlike G.U.N., the doctor's air crafts were strong enough to battle through the destructive storms. The many airships fired upon the god, making it growl with rage. When the god started fighting back, its powerful attacks dropped the ships with ease.

The Starman was surprised, honestly. Dr. Ivo Robotnik, a man who was as evil as could be, was aiding him in his battle. And there was Metal Sonic. A robot who was, arguably, eviller than the man who created him.

The faux hedgehog hovered down near the Starman, red ember eyes filled with malice. They had done this little dance before, they have been allies at one point in time. Together, they stared up to the water god which waged war on all around it.

Two beings, which shouldn't have been there, suddenly warped into the metal halls. The blue one fell over first, gasping for air as hard as he could. The red one pulled back as well, shaking his head with massive pain. They were both pretty shaken, obviously from the trip they took.

"Knuckles!" Sonic yelled as he struggled to his feet, "That was, by far, the worst Chaos Control trip I've ever been there! Do you even know how to use that thing!?"

"Shut up!" Knuckles yelled as he tried to sooth the throbbing pain in his head, "That was... just a bit more than what I'm used too!"

"Obviously!" Sonic stated.

"Just... shut up! You have the Emerald, right?"

Sonic gazed down to the object in hand, seeing the beautiful green Emerald shine back with all its luster. Smiling weakly, he nodded to his red ally. A natural light poured into the dark hall, drawing their eyes over to the windows. Down, miles below, was the Earth. And it looked horrible. The eyes of various storms were plowing through the planet, constricting all views to the green and blue planet. It looked as if the atmosphere was compromised only of hurricanes. How could anything survive this?

"Knuckles..." Sonic said, voice filled with disbelief, "We've got to stop this... if we don't... then..."

"Then why are we standing around!?" the echidna asked, "Let's get going, okay! I'm not letting... that keep going!"

Sonic gazed into the echidna's purple eyes, then eventually nodded. He dashed off soon after, making his way deeper into the base's halls. Knuckles stood behind though, and took one last look at the planets dire disposition.

"Don't fail, Starman... Don't fail..."

He started running too, flying instead. He soon caught up with Sonic, following the blue hedgehog up and down various halls. It was obvious that Sonic hadn't the slightest clue where he was going. But he wouldn't give up. A few minutes of rushing around at the speed of sound, Sonic eventually found the Eclipse Cannon control area.

The doors slid open, even though they hadn't caused it. Despite this, they walked into the room, being extremely slow in their movements. The walls were placated in dust, the machines too. It had been a while since anyone stepped foot in this room. The last time, it was Team Chaotix, who somehow fired this thing down upon the Black Comet. Maybe Sonic and Knuckles should have brought them; they obviously had more skills with this thing than they did.

"So how do we fire it?" Knuckles asked as his arms crossed.

Sonic tossed the green Chaos Emerald up and down, before settling his jade eyes upon the Eclipse Cannon Emerald Holder. The strange, flesh like, machine cold to the touch. Even through Sonic's glove, he felt a hard shiver take him. Slowly, he moved the Emerald down upon one of the Emerald Holder's markings. The Emerald slid in, causing a clicking noise as it did so.

Silence. Then. Power. The entire room lit up brightly, coming to life, as the green Chaos Emerald flared to life. A floating screen appeared soon after, showing a map of the planet. It was, of course, covered to the brim in storms. But it was up to Sonic and Knuckles to somehow find their target through all of this.

"I think I... tap this..." Sonic said as he tapped the screen, causing an aiming marker to appear suddenly, "Okay... well... that's cool..." he leaned in, "But where do I fire this thing? There's, like, nothing around!"

"Here..." Knuckles answered as he tapped the screen at one specific fight, "This is the target..."

"Uh... Knux... how do you know this?"

He gazed into the purple echidna's eyes, watching them flare red suddenly, before dying back down.

"Just trust me..."

Sonic gazed at Knuckles, but then slid his vision back over to the screen. Scratching his head, he seemed to understand his ally's words.

"If you say so... Knux..." his eyes slowly closed, "I guess we just... wait, huh?"

He grew silent soon after, as if he would soon fall asleep. Knuckles too leaned up against the guard rails, preparing for sleep himself. But the map screen suddenly flared red, drawing both of their attentions over. It was dire; the lights were enough to tell them that. And neither knew why.

"What!" Knuckles yelled, "Sonic, what did you do!?"

"Nothing!" the hedgehog answered, "I was just sitting here! I swear I did nothing!"

"That's not supposed to happen!" Knuckles barked, "Did you fire it already!"

"I didn't fire it! I was just sitting here! See!" he pointed to the big red button on the machine's command console, "That's the fire button! Well... I think it is..."

"You think it is!" the red echidna yelled, "That might not be it!"

"Then why would it be there!?"

"I DON'T KNOW!"

"I love how you fools get so flustered when things don't go your way."

Their argument stopped suddenly. They looked at one another, then over to the screen they were gazing upon. It was no longer a map. Instead, it was an albino echidna with golden optics for eyes. Dr. Finitevus, of course.

"You..." Sonic whispered.

"Finitevus!" Knuckles yelled.

"Indeed..." the overzealous doctor gained a smile, "Can you believe it? I expected this to happen, but not so soon! No, no! I thought the Starman would, at least, die first! But nonetheless, victory is mine."

"Finitevus! Where are you!" Sonic yelled in inquisition.

"Nowhere near you, so calm down..." the doctor replied, "I'm just assure myself of victory..."

"What do you mean?" Knuckles asked.

"The Eclipse Cannon. It is, by far, the most powerful weapon in the galaxy. I'm impressed, really. Who would've thought that a human created this weapon, huh?" his vision grew serious, "The Starman will try to defeat Tikhaos. And he will fail. I will make sure of it..."

"You..." Starman replied, "You're going to use the Eclipse Cannon to kill him, aren't you!"

"You really are the fastest thing alive," the albino echidna answered sarcastically, "I thought it would take you a while to figure that one out! Nonetheless, I must thank you, Sonic the hedgehog. Because of you, the world shall become one in my image!"

Sonic suddenly began to fret. It wasn't like him, but this truly was a fret worthy moment. Turning to Knuckles, it was obvious the red echidna too was disturbed by the situations occurring. He turned to stop the blast, dashing off out of the room. But a few moments later, the chaotic abilities granted to him by Enerjak, began to wane. He fell, now finding it hard to continue his flight. That wasn't good.

"Knuckles!" Sonic yelled as he ran up behind him, "I'm going to stop the cannon!"

"How!?"

"I don't know!" Sonic replied, "But! I've gotta do something!"

Knuckles said something, but it was muffled by the rushing wind. Sonic was running at speeds to high to quantify, making way for the Eclipse Cannon's core. He had done this before, right? He had stopped it before, right? Right? He could stop the Eclipse Cannon. He could do it. He was Sonic the hedgehog.

There was no way he was going to stop this thing.

The hedgehog fell to the earth, pain rumbling through his spine. Growling, he shuffled over to his knees. Standing up, he stared to the storming heavens. It was as if the gods above were crying. Boy, he understood why. If he got hit one more time, would not be able to stand for much longer. Speaking of which...

A blue blur fell beside him. The Starman gazed up, seeing Metal Sonic's flickering eyes gaze back. The faux hedgehog stood up soon after, but did so out of pain. He constantly wobbled left to right on his injured limbs, trying his hardest to keep tall.

"You're failing, Metal Sonic..." the Starman stated, "You can barely even stand..."

The metallic being started marching forward, disregarding his current ally's words. Tikhaos still waged overhead, striking down even more of Eggman's robots. His airships were shrinking in numbers, one by one, falling to the ground. Despite Eggman's robotic prowess, it meant little to Tikhaos' godly one. The water being was just too strong.

"Annoying wretch!" Eggman roared, "I'm going to put you in your place!"

Far over the horizon, Robotnik's famed flag-ship appeared. The one, the only, Egg Carrier. The front end of the airship began to part and open, revealing a magnificent cannon beneath. It began charging up a massive power, causing the world below to shake.

But Tikhaos would not be outperformed by the cannon. Mouth closing shut, the water dragon began to charge a torrent of power within. It's entire being shook thanks to the incredible power brewing within.

The Starman leaped forward, making his way for Tikhaos' head. Metal Sonic reached forth, trying to get the hedgehog god's attention. He ignored the robot; he knew what he was doing. The Starman stopped when he hovered before Tikhaos' head. He watched as those yellow eyes snapped down upon the hedgehog's body. His entire body was turning a shimmering blue; being filled by the hopeful energies of all which believed him. He started to project yet another shield around his body, because of it, though the shield was waning. Tikhaos' mouth opened; it was ready to fire. He continued hovering there.

Suddenly, the sky lit up blue. Tikhaos' beam flew from its mouth, engulfing the Starman whole. He kept his shield up as powerfully as he could, trying to fend off the attack as best he could. The blue rays which spewed from the god's mouth was beautiful to look at. From inside the beam, it was as if water was rushing all around him in a wondrous and clean waterfall.

And in the center of this waterfall, a light. A great, wonderful, light. The light swallowed him whole. Even through his shield, he felt the stinging pain of water cutting through his exposed flesh. It made him growl. He pushed forward, forcing through the pain, moving toward Tikhaos' body.

"Gotcha!"

His eyes widened. He was pulled through the water, coming out of the surface on the other side. For a brief moment, he had no idea where he was. The skies overhead weren't raging with storms, there was no god he was facing, the world wasn't coming to a slow depressing end. No, all was. Pleasant.

Through the helmet on his head, he gazed toward the person who brought him out of the water. Her quills were longer than he originally believed, but her frame was the same. She retained that sweet look, the orange fur, the angelic aura. And her eyes, they were as blue as he could remember.

She was Tikal. There was no arguing against it.

"T... Ti... Tikal?" he whispered, causing the echidna to cock her head to one side.

"Shadow," she answered, "You look off..." her hands moved forward to grab the helmet on his head, "What are you doing wearing this thing? There's no danger around."

She giggled as she removed the helmet from his face. When he gazed upon the helm, it was free of any blemishes, despite the fact that he just fought a god. A god which, to his knowledge, was compromised of the woman he sat before. And yes, she was a woman. Not the dainty, yet oddly burlesque, teen he had known and fallen in love with. The woman before him looked as if she were allowed to completely live life until adulthood.

Okay. What the hell was going on? Did Tikhaos' mouth enact some wicked form of Chaos Control? Possible. Was he dead and this was heaven? Also possible. Was he merely knocked unconscious, and this was a dream? He believed that one the most. But he knew them all to be wrong. This was much too good to be a vision created from his mind alone.

Tikal stood tall, still holding his helmet in hand, though she placed it to her side. As he gazed up in awe toward her, she couldn't help but to break her indifferent face with a smile.

"Shadow the Starman," she whispered as she walked away, "You're being off in the head, Shady..."

He sulked down into the artificial pond of water created by this room. This room; what was this room? It was more of a hall, than a room. The walls were crafted in beautiful echidna architecture. It was unmistakable; you'd have to be blind to see it any other way. But why!? Seriously, why!? He was fighting Tikhaos in the middle of a field, was blasted, then he ended up here?

Well sitting around wasn't solving any problems! He stood up from the pond, walking through with wide eyes of shock. His cape and armor were still on his body, and they too were free of any marks on tears. He came to another hall, a smaller one. Trekking through the stone corridors, the black and red hedgehog was trying to come to terms with everything around him.

He crashed into someone, stepping back in shock.

"Ouch, Shadow, err, Starman! Watch where ya goin!"

He gazed down to the being he spoke to, seeing a blue-eyed, red fox, gaze back.

"Millikan?" he inquired as he stared at her.

Yes, it was Millikan the fox. The same one he met four thousand years ago, the same one who should be dead by now. He wore the same tribal clothing, bandages on her hand, gold bands around her ring, a vest, the skirt, the sandals, all of it was there. It was as if she stepped from the world of his memories, and directly into real life. If this was real life, that is. The only difference was she was a tad bit taller. Older, maybe, but she didn't look it. She still looked so mischievously cute.

"You look kinda off, Starman," Millikan stated, "Is ya okay?"

"Millikan?" he repeated, still shocked, "But your dead."

Her face grew as grey as a ghost, as she took a defensive pose.

"N-no!" she stated, "It's not my fault! The jar just... fell over as I looked at it!"

Bad lies? Yeah, this was definitely Millikan. He lifted his hand, wishing to touch her. But the fox was too scared, and she stepped back. A mere moment later, she ran off for the deeper confides of the building. What was this building?

The Temple of the Gods, or at least, a perfect replica of it. He recognized the building. It was, indeed, the Temple of the Gods, just like how it was four thousand years ago. The same one where he stayed when he was trapped in Cielo Isla. From the statues on the wall, to the pearling white floors, it was all there.

"Finally Starman," Tikal's voice echoed from the side, "What took you so long?"

She was leaned on one of the columns of the temple, arms crossed, eyes gazing endearingly into his eyes. Shadow was still too awestruck by everything around him, he just stood there. She moved closer and closer, eventually grabbing his shoulders. Sliding her fingers up and down his shoulders, she suddenly gripped them. Then she kissed him, on the lips, in front of the temple's front entrance. This was wrong. The city of Cielo Isla was on the other side of the pillars; people could see inside. But here she was, kissing him. Her tongue met his, and she moaned in pleasure. But when she noticed he was kissing back, she pulled back in concern.

"Shadow," she said, eyes trying to find what was wrong with him, "Are you okay? You aren't kissing me back?"

"No... no..." he answered, eyes becoming unnecessarily angry, "This isn't right!" he grabbed her back, shaking her briefly, "You're dead and... I was fighting Tikhaos and... You'd never kiss me blatantly in front of everyone like that!" he began to growl, as his hold increased in power, "Who. Or what are you!"

Her face was confused, scared even. But it slowly melted into annoyance. After she freed her hand from his gripped, moved it over to the back of his head, then gripped him tightly. For some reason, feeling that echidna's powerful, pincer-like, fingers on him, caused the hedgehog to buckle to his feet. He almost fell over, but Tikal kept him standing.

"Chaos put you up to this, didn't he?" she asked, her voice stained with irritation, "That little Chao... He re-wired your brain again. He's seriously getting to you..."

"Chaos?" Shadow inquired confusingly his eyebrow raised, "What are you talking about?"

Tikal pushed him back a few inches.

"Remember the last time? You were storming through Chao ruins, throwing stuff wildly!" he shook his head, only to cock it to one side, "Oh, Shady. C'mon, let's go home. I bet you're hungry. You've been here all day, after all."

She broke their small unionship, walking down the stairs of the temple toward the city streets below. The hedgehog, still stupefied by all that was occurring around him, just stared off into the distance with wide eyes. Tikal noticed this as she came to the end of the staircase. Staring back up, she waved toward the Starman, catching his attention.

"Shadow!" she yelled, "Hurry up! You can't just stand there all day!"

He gazed down. And started walking. Footstep after footstep, he tried to understand what weird, yet pleasant, world he was shoved in. Cielo Isla was exactly the same, all the details, correctly polished. From the random echidnas he passed, to the effigies of varying gods. He was in Ciela Isla again.

"Boy you're dense," Tikal remarked as she grasped his hand, "You keep staring around with that 'bleh' face on. It's like you don't recognize the place!" he turned to her, watching as she placed her fists on her hips, "Man, Chaos must've really messed with your head."

She started walking off again, her skirt fluttering through the wind. He started following a few moments later, still shocked by everything around him. All the echidnas he passed appeared none the wiser, even though most of them were probably killed by Perfect Chaos. But they weren't dead, obviously enough.

It was as if Perfect Chaos never happened.

Maverick Talks!

Well, this is a sight for sore eyes. I would have gotten this story in sooner, but me being me, I found myself working on various things. Like my short Pokemon story. And I would have gotten it in yesterday, but my internet was being a butt so... yeah...

But here we are in Chapter 28. In Tribal Dance, chapter 28 was the chapter Shadow finally defeated Enerjak after transforming into his Hyper state. Unfortunately, that doesn't look like its going to happen now. In fact, it looks as if things are getting worse. That's why the chapter's name is Tikhaos Theory. Tikhaos is already making a wreck of the world, but now Finitevus has commandeered the Eclipse Cannon, and Shadow's gone on a loop. But what kind of loop? Gonna have to wait till the next chapter to see, I'm afraid. Heck, if your lucky, I might post the next chapter today. Might.

Some other stuff too, originally, Sonic and Knuckles were going to help the Starman fight Tikhaos. Not Robotnik and Metal Sonic. I ended up writing to versions of this chapter because of it. I changed it because the chapter's name is Tikhaos Theory. The original version didn't really seem all that chaotic however.

Well, I'm set. Gonna do some stuff now. What stuff, we'll see huh? Yeah, we'll see.
