" Brother, dig two holes deep in the ground, this is no place for a rebirth. With the way that these two are, it will be hard enough just to them to live once again. Kili, I am going to make you better." I said as I could feel a final tear falling from my eye.

" You will not be the only one." Burznedlorwen said as she lightly placed her hand onto my shoulder. " I have lost too many already to allow this boy to die as well. I do not care how long it will take him to find his, until that time, I will be his maker."

" You will be an amazing maker, Burznedlorwen." I smiled lightly as I picked up Kili's limp body with one arm and held my sword up with the other.

" You are going to make sure that they will though, correct?" Dawlin asked as he looked down at the princes.

" Yes, they will become vampires by dusk tomorrow. But it will take time and they may not be the same." I said lightly as I lightly moved the hair out of Kili's face as Burznedlorwen and I kept walking away and found that the dwarfs were protecting our way.

" By tomorrow they will have a thrown to sit at and you shall have the first seats beside of them. What you are doing for them, you are also doing for all of the dwarfs of Erebor." Balin said from the other side of Burznedlorwen.

" Just make sure that Thorin is alive and well. The boys will not be the same once they come back up and it make take awhile to come back to their normal selves." I said as I jumped into one of the holes that was made and placed Kili lightly onto the ground.

" You are a truly amazing person." Bilbo said, looking down to the two of us.

" Go. Protect. Thorin." I hissed as I lied down beside of Kili, wrapping my arm around him as I felt the dirt hitting my body.

I let my fangs come out and started to drink his blood out of his body. It was a full process to make a vampire a full vampire. You have to drink all of the blood out of a human before giving them some of your own blood. To make sure that it works sometimes the maker and the progeny have to be placed into the ground and burred for a full 24 hours to make sure that the body would heal fully and turn into a vampire. When I felt that the heart was just about to stop because of the lack of blood I bit right into my own wrist and placed it into his mouth to make sure that the blood dripped into his mouth and down his throat. Once a few drops slipped down his throat I his hand wrapped around my wrist and he started to drink it own his own, the blood starting to transformation. Once he had gotten just enough of my blood to make me feel weak I pulled my wrist away and nodded to my body to push the rest of the dirt onto us, Kili's body falling back onto the ground. The process was starting to take a full effect.

I started to lose all track of time as I kept slipping in and out of consciousness. I would wake when I would start to hear the marching of horses above us and would fall back asleep when everything seemed to calm down for a bit, nothing seemed like it would wake Kili from his deep sleep. I could not tell if the battle had been won or lost or was still going on but quickly the state between Kili and I would drag me right back down into my slumber. As the process was healing and turning Kili into a vampire, it was changing me as well. It was turning me into a marker, the maker that I truly wanted to be. With Tathar it was different, the bond was not fully made, he just kind of happened. With Kili it is going to be different, I was going to make sure of it. Time seemed like it was just going by ever so slowly as I just kept looking over to Kili, hoping that he was alright.

Eventually I had to move, I had to get up, I had to do something to. My legs started to hurt, my body ached for the nighttime that I somehow knew that I had to get out and into. I pulled my legs under my body and just pushed myself up and out of the ground, gasping for the cool air that was around me as I found Burznedlorwen's hand pulling me from the ground and just laid on my back, looking up to the stars as I kept taking in more and more air and found that I could hear the sound of footsteps coming out way as I jumped to my feet and pulled my sword out of my holster, my fangs coming out, and my body hovering over the ground where Kili's body was below.

" Their just coming to check up on the princes. Don't worry Rolly." Burznedlorwen whispered lightly as Thorin was the first face that I saw.

" They have not rose yet?" Thorin asked as he looked down to the dirt the represented his nephews.

" No. They need some more time I guess." I sighed.

" But they are going to come back up soon, right?" Thorin asked and this made me smile, Thorin was really starting to show emotions for his kin now that his thrown was fully his.

I started to feel dread as I rested my back onto Burznedlorwen's back, must keeping my eyes closed and breathing as slowly and deeply as possible. I could not stand just sitting around and waiting, I hated the feeling of just waiting and allowing for fate to just have its way while I could not do anything for Kili. This was something that all vampires had to go through, at least Kili's side of it and most would always go through my side of it, the waiting. Having to know that your child was below you, changing and turning into something that you were, it could really kill you if you just sat and thought about it all of the time. I hated to say it though, but it was all that I could think about during that time. I just wanted my Kili alive and well and could feel my heart dropping every second that passed that I could not have him by my side. I just had to keep my hopes high because the rest of the company was starting to come from the mountain and were just waiting alongside of us.

Fili was the first to rise from the ground. First it was just a little movement of the dirt and then the next there was a hand that just hand fingers wiggling of his fingers and then the next thing was his hand and then Burznedlorwen tired to as lightly as possible to pull him from the dirt. We were all happy to see that Fili was now a vampire, though he had to hold his breath and had to stay very still around the others because of the mortals that were around, he was pretty happy to be alive. . . well in a way anyway, and to have his friends and family around him. Then we all just kind of sat around and waiting for Kili to come back us as well. He had not been hurt as long, not as dead as long, but still it was taking him longer to become a vampire. I wanted to hit the ground, wanted to cry out to him to get up, but nothing like that I thought would would work.

" Kili. . . get up. It's time to wake up." I whispered with a smile, with only hope that he would hear me and rise.

" You know. . . you are his maker. . . it could work." Burznedlorwen said with a shrug, if he did not rise soon enough, it would not have enough blood in him to keep him alive.

" You have got to be kidding me right?" I asked with a smile to my face.

" Well the bond it supposed to be started right at the time that the process begins. So I mean, I don't see why it should not work right now. I mean. . . the process is almost at an end." Isembard shrugged as he looked to the ground. " Why not try it?"

" You guys are going to make me feel like a fool if this does not work." I hissed as I stood from my place and dropped my arms to my sides.

" Don't worry. We wont laugh at you." Burznedlorwen said with a smirk on her face.

" Too much." Fili said through his teeth with the same smirk coming to his face.

" I'll still end your life." I said with a smile as Fili just placed his hands up above his face as if he needed to defend himself.

" Don't worry Fili, you'll get used to her like this soon enough. She's pretty much your queen now." Burznedlorwen smiled lightly to her progeny.

" Well, here goes nothing." I muttered as I looked to the ground. " Kili, as your maker, I command you to wake up and get out of the ground." I said and looked to the ground and waited for a sign.

" Maybe you did it wrong?" Isembard asked.

" I did not do it wrong! I never did it wrong with the other one!" I hissed as I looked to the ground.

" Well maybe he is. . ."
" Don't you fucking dare say that he is dead. I will have a stake in your heart within seconds if you say that, Brother!" I hissed as I looked at him with full intent.

" You have to be ready for the worst though." Isembard muttered as he lightly placed his hand onto my cheek.

" No, the worst thing was having to turn him into one of us, this. . . this waiting, this is nothing compared to making him into one of us. Into stopping the life that he would have had, stopping everything that would have become." I sighed as I lightly rested my head into my brothers shoulder.

" So not you see, all of the decisions that you have made, some will be more painful than the others." Isembard said and I could have punched him.

" You son of a-" I was about to blow up on him when it happened. Kili jumped from the ground and stood in front of me.

Not like Fili had when he wiggled his way out of the ground. Or when I had jumped from the dirt and just made a little hole for my body to get out of. Kili jumped from the ground and legit made all of the dirt that was loose around him come up as if a canon had exploded right there on the ground. Kili kept taking in deep breaths until he finally saw me and it was like he was seeing me for the first time all over again, the look on his eyes was something that I had never seen in him before. There was a need, an adoration, a love and a trust, there was a desire. He did not seem to care about all of the hearts that were beating all around us, he just moved right to me, placing his hand onto my cheek and kissing him with just passion that it made me knees going a little weak.

Both boys looked a little different. Their skin was a pale as the moon, their hair shinned like the sun on water, there was a beauty that they had not had before, something of danger and lust. No scars nor wounds could be seen from their bodies. They seemed like something that had come from a story book. Fili looked more dangerous than his brother, he looked like the killers that most vampires had the first few years. Kili. . . he just seemed to look like all he could see was me in this whole world and nothing else mattered to him at all. Kili did not take his eyes off of me, did not keep his hands away from my body, just kept smiling and taking in the newest that he had never had from his body before.

" We should get them out and hunting." Burznedlorwen whispered with a smile as Kili finally pulled away from my site to look to the others that were around.

" Uncle. Fili. I thought that both of you had perished." Kili said with a smile as his brother came into his arms almost immediately before they both looked to Thorin.

" No. Do not get to close. He still has a heart and his blood will try and lure you in." I whispered as Thorin took a few steps back. " Come, we will go hunting and then we will try and enter the mountain. I bet that you have plenty of kin that will want to congratulate you for helping take the mountain back and will be thankful to have you back as well." I smiled as Burznedlorwen and I looked to the woods.

" We should get going anyway, Fili. You two really need to get some blood into you before you get near anyone else." She tired to smile to him as he walked back to her, the bond was extremely strong already.

" You will have them back soon though, wont you? The sun will be up in a few hours." Thorin said with concern look on his face.

" Don't worry too much, Thorin, we will be just fine and will be back before dawn." I smiled as we started to run through the woods, Kili and Fili in the middle while Burznedlorwen was in the front and I was in the back.

We found a herd of deer running through the woods and we allowed the boys to kill as many as they wanted while we just took one for ourselves and just sat up in a tree smiling down to our progney's and knew that we must have been doing something right. I took in a deep breath and found that there was something in the air that just made me happier, the knowing that Kili would not perish from illness or infection, from the hands of another of the hands of age and time. He would live out the rest of his days by my side and I would never have to worry about these things again. We had a kingdom where we could come and go as we pleased and we could be happy together and forever.

" They seem oddly quite down there." Burznedlorwen said as she looked down to find that they had moved on to another group that we could hear coming.

" Shit." I muttered as I jumped from the tree and bursted out running towards the group, feeling what they had not gotten to know yet, vampires. They were riding the horses that the boys had gone after. " Kili! Fili!" I screamed before Burznedlorwen slammed her hand onto my mouth and drug us both to the ground to find that Kili and Fili had been surrounded by them already.

" There they are! Take them in!" A male voice called as they threw silver over the two and I could feel the pain of the silver hitting Kili's body.

" I think that you have really proven yourself to the elders once again, Tathar. They will be happy to have these two in custody." Another vampire said.

" Tathar, I swear I will have his head on a platter." I muttered before I had a hand on my mouth once again.

" When we get these two back into the city, Rolly will come for them in a heart beat." Tathar said with a smile as he slapped his hand against Kili's face. " And I hope that she comes running for you just in time to see you burning. She'll be so heartbroken that she'll come right back into my arms just in time for me to stake her right in the heart as well." Tathar said with a smile.

" Come. We need to get the others." Burznedlorwen whispered as she pulled me to my feet and started to take off towards Erebor.

" I will kill him. I will behead him." I hissed as I kept finding myself looking back and could feel Kili getting further and further away from me. " I will protect you, Kili. I will make sure that you are okay." I whispered.

" The princes have been taken! We need to speak to Thorin, now!" Burznedlorwen screamed as she nearly kicked the doors down and walked right into the thrown room and just waited for Thorin to come along as Isembard came by my side.

" I heard everything. What can we do to help?" He asked as he looked from me to Burznedlorwen and I could see the shock that he was in right now was in my eyes as well.

" Get everyone from within the city that you know will help and you get them here. Make sure that no one else knows that you are even within the city. Get the rest of the clan if they will help, tell them what happened, tell father what has happened. Get anyone that you know will help and you get them back here as soon as possible. We are going to war." I hissed as my brother nodded and vanished from with entire castle without another word.

" And we shall be going with you." Thorin said as he stood in front of me and I found that most of the company was coming in with Thorin.

" Then it is settled, we are going to be going to war with the vampires. On their land. When they know that we are going to be coming. Likelihood of death for all of us is high, success is low. Lets go to war!" I said lightly as I could feel my heart in my throat. Going to war with people that were over a thousand years old that knew how to kill a vampire without having to even touch them. Oh, death is going to happen.
