If you want the answer, just skip to the bottom. I honestly am a little tired of writing these stories. But I won't stop.

She sat there, trying to comfort Sakura. She knew it had to be hard for her- breaking up with Sasuke. Sakura had been in her room crying for the last hour and refusing to talk to anyone. Ino even teased her and called her names but Sakura didn't care. "Sakura, it's okay. I'm sure Sasuke will come over and apologize and then-"

Sakura sat up, wiping her tears away. "It's not like you and Naruto, Hinata. He has too much pride to admit he was wrong- even if he loves me." She sniffled and tucked her hair behind her ear. "He's always been like that. I wouldn't mind so much if… if he hadn't lied to me like that. He promised."

"I always told you Forehead, you can do a lot better. Forget him." Ino said.

"Don't call me that." Sakura demanded, adding, "And I can't do better. I love him. I always have and I know he loves me."

It made Hinata think about Naruto. Naruto was doing what he could to stay with her because, according to him, he loves her. She still had to respond but right now, that wasn't what she needed to do. Someone else needed her, someone who hadn't hurt her. "This reminds me of Naruto. He apologized and he said he really does love me. He wants me to take him back. I already know what I'm going to say but you and Sasuke… You two have been together a long time. If I were you, I'd give him another chance."

"But he's already had his chance- he's had two!" Sakura exclaimed, her eyes brimming with tears.

"I know but Sakura, if he's that desperate to be with you and you with him, do it." Hinata urged, glancing at Ino.

"Yeah, what Hinata said!" Ino agreed. That was not the response Hinata expected, considering her earlier words.

Sakura looked between the two of them, her tears stopping. "Thank you…" she murmured, hugging them. "I probably wouldn't-"

She was interrupted by Hinata's cell phone, a barking breaking the short silence. Hinata blushed and, already knowing who it was, said, "I'm sorry. It's Kiba. I don't know why he's calling me." She went to silence it but Sakura stopped her.

"Answer it. I was about to call Sasuke anyways."

Hinata smiled thankfully and stood, walking out into the hall. "Hey, Kiba, what'd you-"

"It's Naruto. I think you need to come over." There was urgency in his voice and it scared her.

"What happened? Is he okay? Is he hurt?" she wondered as she held the phone closer to her ear.

"For the most part, yeah. He and Sasuke just had a little fight. He blacked-out when I caught up with them-"

"I'll be there soon. Let me in." Hinata informed, hanging up and running to the door.

"Hinata, what's wrong?" Ino asked with Sakura following behind her.

"I…" Hinata paused. "Naruto got hurt, that's all. It's not too serious."

"Let us come with you!" Sakura offered, wanting to help her friend.

"That's okay; Kiba will be there." Hinata told them and ran out the door, snatching her keys from the hook on the wall as she did. She was in her car seconds later and on the road to Naruto's apartment a minute. She prayed he was better than she imagined. She couldn't help but wonder why he and Sasuke fought. There were multiple reasons but which? Soon she found herself with Kiba, walking up the stairs and just ahead of him.

"Hinata, you need to calm down." Kiba demanded as he caught up.

"But he could… Naruto might be-" Hinata felt tears well up in her eyes.

Kiba pulled her close, calming her. "I carried him in myself. He's fine."

"Are you sure? How did you know he was out there?" She asked, clasping her hands tightly as his door appeared. It seemed darker and less inviting than it had before. She wanted to leave and she would if Naruto wasn't there, hurt.

"Well people decided to be nice and help him- by getting me to go out there. I was on my laptop listening to music. Someone broke in, scaring the shit out of me and told me what was happening. That's how…" Kiba unlocked it, pushing the door open for Hinata to go in.

She fearfully entered, expecting Naruto to be lying unconscious on the bed. Instead, he was sitting up and watching Family Guy. Every time he laughed, he winced. Hearing the door open, he looked over and said, "I told you not to tell her!" he told Kiba, ignoring the cartoon for now.

"She would've found out sooner or later and be grateful it wasn't your parents. Your mom would go ballistic- you know that." Kiba retorted as he took a seat at his desk.

Hinata stood there, staring at Naruto. 'He didn't want me know? Why? I… I would worry like I am now and he didn't want that.' As she looked him up and down, she noticed he had been cleaned up; there was blood on his shirt but smeared on his face. It was a terrible job and if someone came in and saw, there'd be some explaining to do. "You need cleaned up. Whoever did this didn't do a good job… Kiba." She glanced at the boy sitting at the desk.

Kiba gave a sheepish grin. "I was freaking out and needed to let someone know- like ASAP. I figured you'd be the best bet because you don't "freak"."

Hinata sighed and asked, "Do you have alcohol? It doesn't matter if it's rubbing or drinking. And peroxide works fine too." After digging underneath his bed, Kiba handed her a bottle of Jack and water. She shed her scarf, using it to clean his wounds.

"Don't use your scarf- especially on me." Naruto told her as she set it beside him. Kiba stood and excused himself, saying he had to buy more Jack since it was now wasted.

"It's fine. I have a lot more…" she murmured before laying him down. "I noticed you were wincing when you laughed. How are your sides?" she asked.

Naruto shrugged and closed his eyes, waiting. "Just bruised, I guess."

Hinata grabbed the scarf and, after wiping the blood off with it and water, poured a little Jack on his forehead and hearing a hiss escaping him. "I can't believe Kiba didn't clean you up better."

"He knows what I'll do if he touches me." Naruto joked through clenched teeth as Hinata dabbed his wound.

"Speaking of… What was that fight about? I thought you two were done. At least I hoped." She stopped and let him sit up to face her, putting down the scarf and Jack.

"At first, it was about Sakura. He said, one day he wants to marry her. I said how can that ever be possible if he isn't over there now? When I was on the phone earlier and he was telling me why he did all that, I wanted to… wanted to kill him. Today, that's why he was there. He knew I wanted to kick his ass and I-" Naruto growled, frustrated. "Sasuke told me he would stop and apologize to everyone if I did. If I lost though, I had to hate you and…" he shut his eyes tightly, unable to finish.

Hinata understood and she fell back, fearful.

Naruto opened his eyes quickly. "I wouldn't do it, I swear on my life! He had Juugo there and said some stuff but the way the fight ended-" he informed frantically, taking her hand and pulling her close.

"I can tell you've been wanting it; so do you want to know?" Hinata asked, watching his eyes light up with hope. After hearing what happened, she didn't want to know anymore about Sasuke or the fight. "Like I was saying on the phone, after everything you've done… But I'm sure it's the right one because when I'm with you, I'm the happiest I've been in a long time."

Naruto grinned, laughing. "Thank you so much! I won't ever hurt you again, I swear!" he said, scooping her up in his arms and wincing in the process.

Hinata held him, breathing him in. "I love you." She whispered, burying her head into his chest. She closed her eyes and fell back onto the bed with him. She shifted to lay on her side, her back against his chest.

"I love you too." he sounded so calm compared to when she first walked in the room. "Hinata, will you still go to the dinner with me tomorrow?" he added a few moments later as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Yes." she responded readily yet sleepily. So much had happened and she was so comfortable- laying in Naruto's arms- it was a perfect time to sleep. Naruto didn't reply but instead held her tighter, breathing deeply.

Stupid chapter, I think but I wanted you guys to have your answer and I don't even really know the point of last chapter. So... hey.
