this was suppooooosed to be up on Friday but my best friend came up for my birthday this weekend and surprised the SHIT out of me! So ya no writing got done ;) but it is finished now and I was stalling with breaking the news to Henry so you get some sexy times as well! Enjoy! And please let me know what you think!

"You going to tell me what happened now?" He asked as he walked around the island toward her as she finished putting the dishes in the dishwasher. Henry had gone to bed nearly an hour beforehand and Regina had confiscated the phone so he would not watch the videos all night long. He was actually genuinely surprised that Henry did not ask why he was there without Snow. He supposed he was just overwhelmed with the excitement of the videos and having Regina back.

"No."

"Regina-"

"I am a woman of my word, David. I told her I wouldn't tell and I won't."

"But if she's hurting you-"

"It was an accident."

"That was no accident, Regina! You couldn't walk properly and that was after you healed the visible marks!"

"It was an accident, David," she said sternly and closed the dishwasher and started it.

"I am having a hard time believing that it was an accident," he shook his head frustratedly and followed her as she walked around the kitchen.

"Well find it in you to do so. I am not telling you what happened aside from the fact that it was an accident. I'm fine, she's unharmed, if I hadn't promised her I wouldn't..." she pulled out a bottle of wine and turned to face him, "wine?" He shook his head so she turned back around and continued as she reached up to grab a glass from the cabinet, "if I hadn't promised her I wouldn't, I would tell you."

"Regina. What the hell-"

"Drop it, David," she snapped as she poured herself a glass of wine, "when she wants you to know, you'll know. I am not going to tell you so drop it before I throw you out of the house."

With a tight sigh out his nose as she turned around to face him, he agreed, "fine."

"Thank you."

"You sure you're alright?"

"Right as rain," she smiled and brought the rim of her glass to her lips.

With a long breath he walked closer and put his hands on the counter on either side of her hips and leaned in close but gave her enough room for her glass so she could still drink. "What about in that pretty little head of yours? You okay in there?"

Regina hummed quietly through a smile and dropped her eyes to her wine, "I'm trying..."

"Good," he whispered and smiled softly down at her.

"What about you? Are you alright?" She asked quietly with her eyes still down.

"I'm trying too," he nodded with his whisper and she frowned a little and gently swirled the wine around in her glass. They stayed silent for a little while and Regina kept her eyes down while he watched her intently with a smile as she sipped her wine. When she was close he didn't feel the strong ache in his heart, he didn't feel the sickening churning of his stomach, he didn't feel the guilt that weighted him with what he was doing to Snow. When Regina was near, he forgot about it all. Alright, perhaps he did not forget but it was all put to the side and his love and passion for the broken brunette before him took over everything else.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He questioned softly as she brought her glass down from her lips, her glass almost empty now.

Regina hummed with a small smile and shook her head, her eyes still down, "too many things."

"Tell me one thing?" He whispered kindly and she took another slow sip with her eyes still down, "your favorite."

"...I'm happy," she whispered timidly and moved her thumb over the bowl of her glass, "Henry's here, you're here, it's quiet and calm and...I'm happy," she nodded and took her final swallow of wine.

"Good," he whispered slowly through his smile and her fingers tapped softly against the glass. Silently he lifted his hand and tilted her head up with his fingers under her chin and she cocked her head with a slow blink, opening her eyes only when he stopped moving her head back. Her dark eyes were troubled much like he believed his own to be and her expression was truly nervous and unsure. She was balancing precariously knowing that despite her best efforts the array of balanced items in her hands would all fall to the floor. The happiness she had achieved was only going to last a few moments and she knew that and she didn't want it to go.

His fingers moved from her chin to her jaw and kept his eyes locked on hers as he leaned in closer, flicking his eyes down to her lips just before he caught them in this own. It was soft and slow, seeking and giving comfort. When he pulled away gently they stayed hovering and he heard the sound of her glass being placed on the counter before her hands slid up his chest and curled around the back of his neck so she could pull him back down the short distance and kiss him again. Again it started slow but when her fingers started to dig in to the back of his neck he kissed her harder and she pushed her hips forward to slowly grind against him.

His hands moved down to her waist and with little effort he lifted her on to the countertop and stepped closer so his thighs were against the cupboard doors. She purred against his mouth as her arms wound around his head and her fingers pushed through his hair while she hooked her legs around him. He took advantage of her position and trailed one hand down from her side over her thigh to feel the soft skin now revealed for him as her black skirt rose higher as she pulled him closer with her leg.

As his fingers trailed from her knee and back up her thigh, he slipped his fingers beneath the black fabric of her skirt rather than over it. The remnants of the red wine left on her tongue were delicious and accompanied with the warmth her body provided when pressed against his own and the feel of her soft skin he couldn't come up with a better way to end a wonderful meal.

She shivered in delight when he moved his mouth from hers and pushed the bridge of his nose against her neck under the corner of her jaw, his hot breath moving down her neck as his light fingertips ventured toward the inside of her thigh. A breath shaky with want made it past her parted lips as his teeth scraped down her neck before closing around her collar bone in a soft bite. As he withdrew his hand from her thigh she let out a small whimper in protest and hugged her leg a little tighter around his hip to bring him closer and pull herself to the very edge of the counter, feeling her skirt climb a little higher as she did.

He ignored her though and instead began working open the small buttons keeping the purple silk closed around her torso. Her breathing was shallow and her pulse was quick against his lips as he kissed her neck and she rolled her head back. Her bra was a dark purple much like the colour of her shirt and it had a layer of decorative black lace around the bottom of the cups and the lace continued around her sides and hooked together in the back. The sight had him groaning just a little and he moved his hands to hold her around her waist; narrow and toned.

Feeling her muscles move under his touch with every heavy breath snapped something in him and he lifted his head and kissed her hard. Her head was slammed back against the cabinet doors behind her head but she only moaned in approval and kept him trapped against her. At the sound of an opening door, however, they both stopped abruptly and held their breath, not daring to move as they listened hyperactively to the slow careful footsteps above them.

They stayed deadly quiet as they waited to see if they needed to scramble and hide but when the footsteps went silent and did not come down the stairs both David and Regina gave a cautious smile against one another and breathed out a quiet laugh to get rid of some of the adrenaline. "Perhaps we shouldn't-ah!" She gasped quietly and then moaned as his fingers slid easily inside her and found a steady rhythm that had warmth growing deep in her belly.

"Shouldn't what?" He whispered playfully against her jaw as he grinned while she tried to keep quiet. She had gotten in to the perfectly enjoyable habit of being loud while they were in the Enchanted Forest with no one to hear them and now she had to keep quiet so as not to disturb Henry upstairs. He found it quite amusing really to watch her struggle with the task.

"Never mind," she whispered breathlessly against his neck as she dropped her head and turned it so her lips grazed his skin. He breathed out a low chuckle as his fingers continued and as the much wanted ache began to grow inside her she began to unbutton his shirt with hot heavy breaths against his neck. With the shirt open she moved her hands appreciatively up over his stomach and chest, her arousal growing leaps and bounds at the feel of his hard chiseled body.

She let out a hiss through her clenched teeth to silence her growing pleasure and when her hands moved back down she began tugging open his belt and unbuttoning his dark jeans so she could reach inside. As she slipped her hand inside his briefs and took hold of him in her hand he caught her in a bruising kiss. They moaned against the other and then without warning he removed his fingers from her and lifted her off the counter, spinning one hundred and eighty degrees to place her on the island.

He kissed her again and then pulled her off of him and pushed on her flat stomach in a command to lay down. He followed her down as she obeyed, his mouth hot against her front as the cool hard countertop caused shivers to shoot up and down her spine. She heard the faint sound of the zipper being pulled down on her skirt and following the sound was David pulling her skirt and panties from her hips and down her legs.

She listened anxiously as she tried to catch her breath and David kicked his jeans and briefs to the side. She couldn't help the amused laugh rumbling deep in her throat when he gave her legs a firm tug and the silk shirt still on her back allowed her to slide with ease over the countertop following the force. He was hard against her wet center and she found herself rocking her hips toward him with a needy moan as he leaned down and kissed her while his fingers dug in to her hips. With a final tug to allow him better mobility she found herself only halfway on the island with her hips in David's hold as she wrapped her legs around him to keep herself from falling.

He guided himself in slowly and she moaned pleasantly at the sensation of him filling her and when he started to move her face creased with pleasure and she clenched her jaw to keep herself quiet but heavy breaths and combinations of whimpers and moans made it out all the same. With every thrust she bit back a louder moan and instead she pushed her head back enough to lift her shoulders off the counter with a quiet choked vocal.

"Fuck," he groaned through his teeth as she arched her body and her fingers clawed at the countertop up around her head. Her stomach muscles flexed with every short laboured breath and her legs closed tighter around his waist as she warded off her climax.

She pushed her head back again, her eyes closed and her mouth open for the strangled whimper to be heard. "Fuck, David," she cried out quietly, her voice resembling a whine as she strained to keep herself quiet, "fuck," she drew out the curse on a long shaky breath and her voice bounced in time with his thrusts. Her breaths were sharp and shallow and her moans made it through clenched teeth, trying to keep herself under control.

She felt like she was vibrating and as she listened to David's tells and felt his fingers dig in to her hips, her orgasm began to rip through her and his followed only moments after. But that didn't mean he stopped moving inside her. Her face was creased with lines of pleasure as she let out a held back scream and her muscles tightened so she sat up a little before she fell back down and pushed her head back so her shoulders lifted off the counter.

"God damn it, Regina," he hissed through his low growl as his own orgasm radiated through his body and she increased its effect with her voice and her moving figure. He slowed to a stop and once he pulled himself from her he had to increase the grip of his fingers on her hips for she wound her legs tighter around his middle and sat up of the counter and let him carry her full weight as she pulled his head in to hers. Her kiss was clumsy and passionate with her lingering orgasm and her short breaths were heavy against his mouth.

"I love you so much," she growled out quickly through her bared teeth before she pulled his head in once more and caught him in a rough kiss and gripped her fingers in his short hair as she swiveled her head.

He groaned quietly against her mouth and let go of her hips so he could tangle his hands thoroughly in her hair, leaving her to wind her legs tighter around him to keep herself from falling down. "I love you," he growled back the first chance he got and was quickly back on her mouth.

...

"Goodnight," she whispered with a smile and her hands on his chest as she rose a little higher, lifting the heels of her stilettos lifted of the floor so she could kiss him softly. He hummed happily against her mouth as his hands settled on her waist and held her against him. He had agreed to her wishes and was going to sleep in the guest room down the hall from herself and Henry. She had requested it only because she didn't want Henry finding them together in the morning if he were to come in. She didn't want him to find out that way.

"I'll see you in the morning," he whispered and she nodded.

"Okay," she smiled and it grew a little when he dropped his head and have her one last quick kiss before opening the door to the guest room and smiling as he closed it behind him. She stood at the door for a moment longer before turning and walking to Henry's room, quietly opening the door only to find the room to be empty. She scanned the room quickly just to be sure and her heart sunk when the room was in fact empty.

Regina stepped back in to the hall and closed Henry's door with a frown before she walked to her own room. Perhaps she would get to spend the night with David...

When she opened her door she moved to flick on the light but stopped at the sight of a bump in her bed. Magically bringing a soft light to her palm, Regina walked closer to her bed with hope blooming in her chest and at the sight of a mess of brown hair laying on the pillow she smiled and let her magic go. With her smile still in place she walked to her closet and changed out of her clothes and in to pyjamas.

She came out wearing dark navy blue pyjama bottoms and a black tank top with a laced neckline and carefully crawled in the bed next to Henry. He stirred a little as she moved closer and when his drowsy eyes blinked open she smiled and reached forward to push his hair back in to place with her fingertips, "couldn't sleep?"

"Too excited," he whispered back and she smiled a little wider as her gentle soothing fingers continued, "plus I missed you. And your bed is comfier."

"Ah I see. You don't want me you just want my bed," she teased quietly and felt her heart skip at the sound of his sleepy laugh.

"Exactly," he nodded and laughed and heard her laugh before he shook his head, "no I wanted to be with you."

"Well I will never say no to that," she smiled and let her head sink heavier in to her pillow, "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too," he smiled and then wiggled closer so he could wrap her arms around her waist and rest his head on her chest. She held him back with one arm looped around his back and the other around his side so her fingers could run through his hair. "I'm glad you and David are getting along so well," he spoke quietly as he yawned and nuzzled his head deeper in to her chest.

Regina hummed quietly, a troubled frown turning her lips as she turned her head so it rested atop his. "Yes," she whispered and felt him take a deep breath before he started to drift off to sleep again, "me too."

...

"So you can shoot arrows?"

"Yes," Regina chuckled as she handed him another plate from the dishwasher.

"Can you use a sword?" He questioned as he put the plate in the cupboard beside his head while he sat on the counter.

"Yes but I prefer a bow."

"And you can use magic."

"Of course."

"And you can ride horses."

"Yes."

"And you can navigate and cook and start fires and make shelters and stuff?"

"Yes," she laughed and handed him another plate.

"That's so cool! How come you never taught me any of those things?!"

"You never asked me to," she grinned and kicked the dishwasher closed with a laugh under her breath.

"Well I didn't know it was something I could ask you to teach me!" He argued with a laugh and closed the cupboard door before jumping off the counter and following her out of the kitchen.

"And now you do," she threw a smirk over her shoulder and watched his face brighten impressively.

"W-will you? Teach me, I mean?"

"Teach you to what?" She purred with a held back smile and he bounced up ahead of her.

"To sword fight and shoot arrows and ride horses!" He grinned excitedly and she smirked and lifted an eyebrow in a silent request, "please!" He added with a laugh and she gave a nod of approval.

"Only because you said please," she smirked and he cheered excitedly and her smile grew to show her teeth. She took a slow breath as she watched she watched the excitement grow in him and she savored the look because she was about to take it away, "Henry..."

"Yes, mum?"

She hummed happily at the title and placed a hand on his shoulder and led him to the stairs, "come here sweetheart."

"...what is it?" He question a little warily as he sat down on the bottom stair next to her.

"I have something to tell you...and you need to hear it from me..."

"You're kinda making me worried..." He looked her up and down and she smiled sadly at him and leaned forward to leave a kiss on his forehead. When she pulled away she kept her eyes down and took his hand between both of hers and held on tight.

"While I was back in the Enchanted Forest I found a little more than I had bargained for and I am scared, sweetheart. I am scared because I could so easily lose what I have found and I don't want to. I don't want to lose it again..." She whispered and swallowed nervously as she moved her thumbs over the back of his hand, "I am also scared because I know you will not like where I have found this and...I don't want to lose you either. I love you Henry with every fibre in my being. I am scared because I could lose everything. Again. And I just got it all back."

She shook her head and felt her hands start to shake with her nervousness. She didn't want to hurt him but she knew him finding out from someone else or having him wait would only make the news hurt more, "you will be angry and you will be confused and you will be hurt and I am so sorry," her voice broke in to a whisper and she felt her tears well up in her eyes and her chest tighten uncomfortably.

"Mom, it's okay you can tell me..." He whispered nervously, the sight of her nervous and flighty completely foreign to him, "mum what did you find?"

Regina bounced her knee a little with her reluctance to answer and took a slow silent breath to gather her nerves. She lifted her head to look her son in the eye, his worry and concern making her smile just a little, "love. I found love."

Henry shook his head with a smile and a laugh lacing his words, "well that's great! Why would I be angry or hurt about that? Are you not happy?"

Regina smiled and crossed her jaw to keep her tears at bay at the pain growing in her chest, "I am very happy."

"Then what is the problem? Is he not here? Did he stay in the Enchanted Forest? Is it a she and you're worried I won't approve cause that's a stupid reason to be worried."

"No," she laughed quietly and shook her head, "no he's upstairs..."

"Well how come you didn't introduce him yesterday?!"

"Because you already know him," she whispered miserably and clenched her jaw as she held his eyes steadily and watched the pieces start to fall in to place in his thoughts and the excitement began to visibly disappear, "David," she nodded and forced the words out his tight throat, "is upstairs in the guest room."

Henry shook his head and felt his heart start to sink, "but...what-what about Snow? And Emma and...mum."

The hurt and betrayal in her title now had her tears rolling down her cheeks and she whispered almost too quiet to hear, "I'm so sorry Henry," his eyes flicked back and forth between her still ones and her heart ached in her chest at the confusion and hurt in his expression. "He chose to stay. I was so sure that he would go back to Snow as soon as we got back...but he's upstairs," she whispered and more tears fell down her face.

She flinched when he tore his hand away from between hers and stood up tall. It felt like a stab in the heart and she had to close her eyes to swallow back the cries she wanted to let out. "Henry," she called desperately as she rose to her feet.

"Why did you do this?!" He cried out angrily and miserably, "you had no reason!"

"I know I didn't. Which is why I never did. I never tried to take him Henry I promise. I swear I never intended for anything to happen between us."

"I don't believe you!"

"Henry-"

"No! I don't believe you! You lie and you play games and you hurt people and it always comes back to hurt you in the end!"

"But not this time sweetheart," she shook her head and kept her voice quiet, "not this time."

"Will you ever stop hurting people?!" He screamed at her and she convulsed sharply but didn't make a sound.

"Henry," David announced his presence quietly as he walked down the stairs.

"No," he whimpered and shook his head at the sight of David. When he placed his hand on the small of his mother's back as he walked around behind her and toward him, Henry felt his heart squeeze painfully and felt his throat tighten with the tears he wished to cry.

"Henry," he spoke again when he was closer but Henry kept his gaze miserably locked with Regina's as he shook his head in disappointment. Disappointment that David knew was killing Regina.

"You are right," he nodded with his tight voice and watched as his mother shook her head while her tears fell, "I am angry and I am confused and I am hurt. And I don't want to see you for a long time."

"No, Henry," she whispered shakily as her tears fell and she quickly took a step forward but Henry shook his head and ran away down the entry stairs and out the front door, "Henry!" She called desperately as she hurried after him but the door was slammed shut and she was left staring at it from the top of the entryway stairs. "Henry," she whimpered quietly at the door and covered her mouth with both her hands as she closed her eyes and sunk to the floor, balancing on her toes and sitting on her heels as she shook softly and cried silently.

David shook his head at her and walked up behind her, his chest tight as a lump grew in his throat that came with the desire to cry. He lowered himself down beside her but when he touched her she pushed him away with a shaking hand. "Regina," he whispered tenderly and she shook her head in response and let out a quiet cry though her teeth. "Please, darling, don't bottle it away," he shook his head and she cried a little more. But when he tried to touch her again she stood up abruptly and began slowly walking away.

"Regina," he called as he stood up and followed her. She ignored him though so he snatched her arm and she tried once to tear it away sharply but when it didn't work and he held on, she let him keep her there however unhappily. "Do not bottle this in it will tear you apart. Yell at me instead," he instructed and she opened her eyes but did not open her mouth. Only let her tears fall. "Cry then. Hit me. Break dishes. Take your bow and arrow to the yard and shoot. Speak. Scream. Anything. But do not keep it in."

"I am panicking," she confessed with a trembling voice as more tears sprung to her eyes. "My son is gone and he is hurt and he is miserable. He was so happy and I had to take that away from him! Because of you! I would have managed, things would have been fine and they would have been so much easier without you!" She yelled as her tears fell and when he let go of her arm she moved her arms around in sharp frantic movements while he stood in front of her, "I am not a woman who gets her happy ending! Everything I touch falls apart! I have been happy all of two times in my life! While I was in Daniel's care and when Henry was small! I don't know how to love, I don't know how to be happy! I micromanage, I control, I threaten, I shut down, I hurt people!

I don't want to do those things but I can't stop! I have lost everything so I hold on too tight to the things I have but then I remember that holding on too tight causes people to pull away so I let go but then they just leave and it hurts me! I have no happy medium; it is too much or too little! I can't figure it out and I hate that about myself!

So no I don't believe you are here to stay because even if by some miracle you keep your promise to stay, I know I will be the one to ruin it! It was easy in the forest because there was no one else, we were alone, I had no image to uphold be it my own personal image or the one society deems fit! I don't work properly, David! I didn't grow up with love, I wasn't raised in the light like you! I have absolutely no idea what I am doing," she cried out and shook her head as her tears rolled quickly down her cheeks and her chest tightened uncomfortably.

"I have been alone my entire life wanting someone to fill the space in my heart before it was entirely consumed by darkness. My heart is as black as they come and what you see in it is what only I have been able to see. I know that I have goodness inside me and despite my pleas, no one heard me, no one saved me, no one came so selflessly to my rescue. My voice was quickly taken by Rumplestiltskin and before I knew it it was too late for me to be saved.

But still I clung to the small sliver of hope that someone would be strong enough to tear me away from my destruction! That someone would be brave enough to go through absolute hell to break down my walls despite my vicious defense, that someone would see what I saw in myself and would take the effort to rip me apart until I shone through because I can't do it myself," she closed her eyes and swallowed a cry as her tears continued to fall and she wrapped her arms around her middle.

"And then you came," she forced out a small miserable voice and shook her head and took in a shaky breath as she lifted her head and opened her eyes so she could force herself to look at him, "you saw me, you saw what I had been hiding and you didn't let it go. You are fighting me and you are winning. My anger is all I've had and you are taking that from me. I don't know what to do without it, I don't know how to function without it," she shook her head and cried while he watched with soft blue eyes and listened carefully to her every word.

"I am so tired of being alone," she confessed with a shaky cry and bounced her leg a little where she stood, "I can't be alone anymore. I love you so much it hurts. I can't lose you too. But I simply cannot trust your word to stay. No one ever stays," she choked out her last sentence in a cry and quickly bowed her head to keep him from seeing any more tears.

David frowned and shook his head as she became smaller than he had ever seen her and more fragile than he would have thought possible. His chest ached with her pain and her outburst of fears and insecurities repeated and imprinted in his mind. "Feeling better?" He whispered tenderly in hopes that perhaps getting some of the load off her chest had made her feel less heavy.

"No I do not feel better," she cried out miserably and lifted a hand from her churning stomach to cover her mouth and muffle the sound of her cries. She was scared and she was plagued with worry and for a few moments she resisted him when he wrapped his strong arms around her but it didn't take any longer than those few moments before she gave in to him. She pushed her face in to his neck and rose up on her toes as she wrapped her arms around his neck and shoulder, moving her fingers of one hand through his short hair and holding them there while he let her cry.

"It's going to be okay," he soothed softly and hugged her tight, happily absorbing her shaking as she desperately tried to get closer. He turned his head a little so his mouth was closer to her ear and he whispered a gentle and heartfelt, "I love you," and felt her hot breath come out in another shaky cry against his neck, "and as I've said before," he whispered and moved a hand up to softly play with her dark hair, "I'm not going anywhere."
