Disclaimer: I do not own The Joker or Harley Quinn!
POV- The Joker
Her fist hits my left scar hard. It feels strange but I don't feel the stinging until I realize it cut open.
My gloved hand goes up to my cheek. When it came back my fingers were bloodied a bit. The blood dribbled down to my chin. Wiping it up I turn my glare to Harley.
I growl deeply, my tongue swept across my bottom lip. Harley looks like she's trying to stay calm but her blue eyes show fear.
She's going to pay. Make her pay. Kill her. You know you want to. Do it.
Then I lunge at her. She gasps quickly but it's cut off my hand gripping her throat.
Kill her.
My fingers curl around Harley's neck and she gives a strangled gasp. I grin down at her.
"You're going to die soon Harley. It'll be a slow and uh, painful death. I'll make sure of it."
"W-why didn't you just kill me before?", she tried to say.
"It wouldn't be as fun if I killed you quickly."
"Fun? Wh-. "
She abruptly stopped talking and realization swept across her face.
She finally understands. I'm surprised she took so long to realize she was only here for my fun.
I got lost in my thoughts so much that my grip on her throat loosened. She suddenly shoved me and I stumbled, but caught myself.
"Get away from me!", she yelled at me.
She coughed once.
"What on earth have I done to you?", I asked her, making my voice sarcastically innocent.
Frustration and disbelief was shown on her pale face.
"What have you done to me? What have you done to me?! You've hurt me! This whole time I've been here! You've done nothing but hurt me!"
Harley's going crazy. She won't be able to take it much longer.
She coughed again but quickly recovered.
My laugh became more high pitched as I continued to laugh in her face. I couldn't stop myself.
Harley started backing up slowly. Her blue eyes showed confusion, along with her expression. She was breathing heavy too.
Then suddenly she runs out of the room. I abruptly stop laughing and walk out the doorway.
I could see her running form going towards the back door.
"Harley! Get back here! HARLEY!", I barked at her.
Unconsciously I pull out my gun and aim it at her. But then stopped myself.
She deserves to have a better death. I can't just kill her with a bullet. Guns are too quick.
As I walked around the dark warehouse I heard a scream. It was Harley. I chuckled to myself.
She's at her breaking point.
The lightning lit up the sky and the warehouse momentarily, as if on cue.
I sauntered down to the game room and told the guys to get Harley from outside. They didn't ask any questions as I led them towards the back door.
"Take her to her room and leave her there", I ordered them.
The both of them nodded once and stepped out into the pouring rain. They both jumped when the thunder clapped once again. I scoffed at them.
When I was walking up the stairs I saw Harley and the guys practically dragging her through the warehouse.
She was soaking wet, her hair matted to her emotionless face. Harley looked horrid, her blue eyes blank. She didn't even glance at me. There was even a blood stain from when we had our fight earlier. Hopefully she learned her lesson.
After making sure the men put her in her room I walked to my bedroom. Shrugging off my coat I threw it on the chair next to the desk. Sitting down on the lumpy mattress I twirled my knife through my fingers
I was eager to kill someone. To watch the life drain from their face, to watch the blood pour out of their worthless body. That's how Harley's death will be. Slow and painful. I could already imagine it.
The screams of pain from Harley echoing throughout the warehouse as I carve her face to look like mine. Then she'll get stab after stab and die in her own pool of blood on the floor.
A grin slowly appeared on my face.
I'll have the chance to do that soon.
Not soon enough. But I need to make her wait. Wait for her to get desperate enough. Then she won't put up a fight when the time comes to kill her.
I've put her through so much these past couple of months. It's been fun, for me.
She probably thinks she's won. But she hasn't. I've already won without even killing her.
Each time I used her she only got worse. Every time her sanity was reduced. And soon every drop of it was gone.
Harleen Quinzel isn't there anymore. She's gone now. I don't see any sanity left in her. And that's just what I was going for.
I needed someone to break, to turn insane. It was so easy with her too. Easier than I thought it would be. But all it takes is a little push. All it takes is one bad day.
And she had her bad day.
She isn't far from where I am now.
Thanks for reading! Please review :D
