Sup Guys. Yeah I know i said I'm finishing Season two first before writing new chapters for this story. But I couldn't wait any longer and had so much ideas already.

This one is sort of inspired by a Episode of the series of EnterprisingEngine93. Enjoy.

Chapter 28 Mine Mishaps
It was the 12th of March and it was a rainy day on the Island of Sodor. But that didn't made the day that bad. In fact Edward was finally fixed and was able to drive again. Most of the engines celebrated his recovery.
"I'm glad you're running again Old chap. The Branch line wasn't the same without you." BoCo told him.
"Thanks. It wasn't very exciting just standing around in the Steamworks. I'm looking forward to do my old jobs again." The blue K2 smiled." By the way: How was Carl doing while I was absent?"
"Well. Not that bad. But you could clearly see that he was just a banker engine before he got here." The Metrovick Diesel said.
"Anyway, I can't wait to get started again." Edward said and went to Wellsworth to start his work again.

Meanwhile Bill and Ben we're working at the Clay Pits. They started to get bored while arranging some trucks." Hey Bill."
"Yeah Ben."
"I got a brilliant idea for another prank."
"Oh Please Tell me!"
"How about we change the points over there onto that old siding." Ben suggested and looked over to some points in front of them.
"And then?" Bill asked.
"The next engine that gets here will be changed onto that line and will face a dead end. They will hate it and have to go back. That'll screw up their entire schedule." Both of them laughed.
"Oh. Great idea. Let's do it." And so they fulfilled the plan.

While the two did that, Donald and Douglas waited at their shed in Arlesborough for another job."Awright Donnie. Hae ye heard that eddie cam back fae th' wirks?" Douglas asked.
"Aye Dougie. 'n' a'm glad that he cam back. He's likelie yin o' th' oldest engines 'ere. A repair wid be pure pernicketie." Donald answered.
Then the Yard Manager walked to the two Caledonian Twins." I got a job for one of you. We need a engine to take a train full with tools and material to the Clay Pits." He said.
"Ah will tak' it. Ye kin hae anither rest Douglas."The number nine said and left the shed. He then went to the Goods Yard to couple up to the train that Rajiv had arranged an hour ago. After a few minutes Donald left and went towards Knapford.
"Hello Donald." Yong Bao greeted him as he arrived at the station. Behind the Chinese engine were some coaches. He just finished a passenger run.
"Awright Bao. Crackin' day we're huvin th'day."The Caledonian twin whistled as he passed the station.

The whether began to change drastically. It started to get foggy. You couldn't see a thing that was five meters away from you.
Marco was currently at Brendam, waiting for his goods train. Then a workman walked to him." Sorry. But the fog is to thick. You can barely see a thing. It's to dangerous to go down the mainline at this weather conditions." He said.
"Understandable. I'll wait until it became clearer." The Class 01 said. A annoyed groan was heard next to him. He looked around.
The Voice came from Rick, the Brakevan, who stood on a siding." Well that's just my luck. How am I supposed to go to Vicarstown now." He growled, apparently because he was supposed to be the Brakevan of Marcos train.
"You'll have to be patient Rick. I'd Like to leave to, but I don't wanna crash today." The black tender engine stated.
"Uh...fine. I'll wait. I guess this truck I'm looking for won't move that quick on it's own." Rick grumbled.
"What Truck do you mean. There are hundreds on this railway. Why are you looking for a certain one." Marco asked him.
"That's none of your business Marc. Just care about your job and I care bout my shit."
"Okay. No need to shout at me." The German engine huffed.
Donald on the other hand didn't cared about the fog. He saw worse versions in Scotland. He kept on going through Brendam and towards the clay pits. (I'm going to stop here writing the twins with a Scottish accent. Just imagine them having one. I didn't had the time to translate it the whole time.)
"Ah..this weather reminds me of the good old Scotland. Nothing bad about a bit fog." He said. Donald could see the mine in the distance.
He entered the Clay pits and kept on rolling down the line. He came closer and closer to the set of points that were sabotaged by Bill and Ben."Alright. Just a few meters and I'm done with this job, I think. I can barely see a thing, but I got a feeling that I'm almost at the place where I get unloaded." But then there was trouble. Donald passed the points and was directed onto the old line. Due to the fog he couldn't see the end of it and kept going it along at the same speed. Then he finally could see something. But that were old buffers. The number nine of the NWR couldn't stop in time and crashed through them and straight down a small hill. Luckily his tender and the rest of the train stayed on the track. But sadly Donald was badly damaged.

It took some time until Derek arrived with Rocky to lift him on a flatbed." Donald. How did that happen." The Class 17 asked him.
"Dunno Derrick. I went along the track, minding my own business , as suddenly the track ended." Donald groaned." I'll bet my tender on it, that Bill and Ben are responsible for this."
Derek then pulled Rocky away and Geoff the Works Diesel brought him...well, to the works.
Edward was meanwhile very mad at the two twin engines." Oh my god. Just one day after I come back from the works, you two get it done that another one is getting there in half a day." He grunted angrily.
"Sorry Edward." Bill peeped meekly.
"We just wanted to irritate someone." Ben added.
"Did you know when that track was used the last time? When we hired Marion and Timothy. And that also happened a few decades ago. You can be lucky when Douglas is merciful with you two." The K2 huffed.
Just then they heard a angry whistling." Where are these two twits. I'll smash them into scrap metal." A Voice, fuming in rage, shouted.
"Aw crap."
"Protect us Edward!"
Douglas entered the yard of the clay pits and stormed towards the twins. But he stopped right in front of them.
Edward tried to calm him down." Please don't do something you will regret later Douglas. They didn't do it on purpose."
"I don't care. They messed with Donnie and now I'll pay them back." He growled.
"Listen! You have to see the good side of the things. You two needed a overhaul anyway. And the accident was a good reason to give you one. Donald is going to have it after he's fixed and you could ask the fat controller if you can get one to." Edward suggested.
"Uhh...fine. I'll spare these twits. But next time they aren't going to be So lucky." And then the black number ten left.
"Jeez...thanks Edward."
"We owe you one."
"Just stop pranking others and do your job. You got a mine and I a branch line to run." The K2 huffed and left.

Meanwhile Douglas found the Fat controller at Knapford." Sir. I have a question. Donnie is currently under repair and is also having a overhaul afterwards. So I'm asking if I can get mine too?"
"Well Douglas. I guess I can arrange that. But who's going to do your jobs while you're absent."
"How about Derek and Carlos. Both of them have proven that they can handle Branch line and goods duties." Phillip suggested, who listened to the conversation and was currently arranging Gordon's express coaches.
"Not a bad idea Phillip. I'll tell them immediately and you Douglas go to the works and get your overhaul." The Fat controller ordered.
"Yes Sir." Douglas whistled and left for said place.
