I don't own Austin & Ally

Trish's POV

"Great! That's all I need for the survey! Now onto a question that's just something I really wanna know. Are you in love with Uncle Dez?", Ella asked me. My eyes widened at this and I began to get a little nervous.

"Ella, w-why are you asking me that?", I asked.

"You said no questions", Ella said crossing her arms. "And please tell me! This is just between me and you and I really want to know. It may not be any of my business, but please just think about it; if not for me, then do it for yourself and Uncle Dez", she begged. I thought about that for a second. I mean, do I love Dez? Well of course I love him; with all my heart, but am I truly in love with him?

"Yes", I said finally with a smile. I was more sure of this than I have ever been with any other decision before. "I am in love with your Uncle Dez."

"I had a feeling", she said smiling at me. I just laughed.

"Okay kiddo, but promise me you won't tell Dez that I said that. I want to be the one to tell him when the time's right", I said. She nodded.

"Of course I won't tell him. That's your job. I'm not going to do everything for your relationship", she said making me laugh. "Okay, I do have to go back to Uncle Dez now, but I promise I'm not telling him", she assured me as she ran off to find my insane boyfriend.

Ella's POV

I'm almost sure this plan will work. I got Aunt Trish to admit she's in love with Uncle Dez! I don't think she even realized it until I asked her. This is so much better than I could've imagined! And that whole survey thing…yeah, that was all my idea. Uncle Dez had absolutely no plan; he just knew what he wanted to do. That's where I come in. I had to make this special for them. It's very important that this goes as planned, because it could be very bad if it doesn't.

"Uncle Dez, I think you're all set", I told him smiling.

"Really!? What did she say? What did you ask her? What did-"

"Uncle Dez, focus please. I would explain if you would hush and let me talk instead of asking a bunch of stupid questions all at once", I said rolling my eyes.

"Sorry Ells, continue", he said smiling sheepishly.

"I had her take a survey. I asked a bunch of questions that I think will be very helpful for this special date you have planned for her", I said quietly so Aunt Trish wouldn't hear me. He nodded so I continued. "Okay, so her favorite color is purple (but she would rather have cheetah print), her favorite movie is Zaliens 3: Brain Eaters From Bey-"

"No way!", he exclaimed making some of our family look our way curiously.

"You people know he's crazy; nothing to see here", I said as they started doing whatever it was they were doing before Uncle Dez screamed. "Now, I was saying-"

"I can't believe we have the same favorite movie!", he continued, cutting me off again!

"Uncle Dez! Would you please listen!", I said getting annoyed. He smiled again and nodded. I just rolled my eyes. Sometimes I wonder how he's a grown up and I'm a kid. "Anyway, yes, that is her favorite movie, but her favorite romance movies are The Wedding Diaries and Letters From A Lover Lost"

"Those are mine too!", he exclaimed happily. I just stared at him. I've seen both of those movies when Mommy would watch them with the girls. But she watched them with the girls. Sometimes my uncle can weird me out…

"Stop interrupting me or you'll never get to go on this date!", I finally snapped. I've had enough of his strangeness for one conversation.

"Sorry kiddo, I'll try to stop", he promised.

"Okay, her favorite songs are-"

"Why do I need to know all of this? I can't sing, and I have no clue why you're telling me her favorite color, movies, songs; Ella, it makes no sense", Uncle Dez said making me angry. I had to calm myself down before I start screaming at him. He is still my uncle so there is a chance I could get in trouble for that.

"You're going to make a date that has to do with everything I'm telling you", I said as calmly as possible. Mommy told me it was rude to yell at people who don't deserve it…or just don't know they're making you mad. And I love my Uncle Dez; I could never do that to him.

"Like what?", he asked. I sighed.

"You are so difficult. When you're driving home, make sure to make the drive last long enough to hear three full songs. Play Last First Kiss by Daddy, The Search Is Over, also by Daddy, and Parachute by Mommy; those are Aunt Trish's favorite songs, as I was trying to say", I told him.

"Okay, go on", he said recording everything I was saying…I guess he needed to remember it.

"Before you take her on the date, I want you to go to some store and buy her a small gift. This is where her favorite colors can come in. Try getting her a cute cheetah print T-shirt, or maybe something purple. Make sure it's her size if you decide on clothes. If you don't know her size, ask Mommy; she'll know", I said. He nodded again.

"Okay, but why am I getting her a gift?", he asked. I just rolled my eyes.

"Have you met your girlfriend? She'll accept any gift and she'll think it's a really nice, simple date so what you plan will be a big surprise. Next, you set up a simple picnic in the living room. It's not outside, and she'll think it's romantic and funny all at the same time. Make her favorite foods, but the kind that you would eat at a picnic or during a movie so it doesn't look too much. During the picnic, you'll give her the gift you buy, eat, watch the movie you choose, and hopefully have a few sweet, romantic moments that I can't plan for you", I told him smiling.

"You know kid, you're really good at this. Like, scary good", Uncle Dez said hugging me. I smiled and hugged back.

"Thanks Uncle Dez. Now go get your date set up while we stall Aunt Trish", I said and watched him run off.

Third Person POV

"Hey Bri-Bri", Ella said as she walked over to Trish with Toby hot on her heels. Ever since Dez had left and Ella had a free moment, Toby was there. It was actually quite a funny and adorable sight.

"Hey Ella, hey Toby, what are you two up to?", Trish asked as she resituated Brianna in her arms.

"I came to see Bri. Emma and Evan are getting a lot of attention right now, and I didn't want to leave this baby girl out of the fun", Ella said as she reached for the six month old. Trish warily handed Ella the baby she had grown so close to in such a short amount of time. She was still skeptical about having such a young little girl hold a baby, but she trusted Ella none-the-less.

"Alright, but be careful with her. How about you three sit and play in the floor while I go talk to your Mommy?", Trish suggested. Ella nodded as she sat down with Bri in her lap and Toby right beside her.

"She's so cute", Ella said smiling. Toby smiled too; not particularly at the adorable baby, but more at his best friend who was already so caring with little kids.

"I think you're going to be a really good big sister", Toby told her. Ella smiled at him before looking back to the little girl in her arms.

"Thanks Toby. I think you'd be a great big brother someday too", she said.

"No way, my parents said they're too old to have any more kids. They adopted Lys and Porter, but Porter's already an adult, and Lys is Kelsey's best friend so she'd be over all the time anyway. I'm the youngest of our family", Toby said. Ella just laughed.

"Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but your parents are like the same age as my grandparents", she laughed, causing Toby to join her.

"You two hush up; they aren't that old", Kelsey whispered as she sat in the sort of semi-circle with Alyssa joining seconds later. "They're only about forty-seven"

"My grandparents aren't old?", Ella asked with a shocked look on her face.

"Maybe to you", Alyssa reasoned as she joined the conversation.

"Lys, hush", Kelsey said glaring at her best friend/sister. "They don't like to be called old, so don't bring up the subject of our parents being old enough to be grandparents like Aunt Mimi and Uncle Mike"

"Don't you think they know how old they are?", Toby asked. Kelsey sighed.

"Yes, just drop it. Come on Lys, let's go make fun of Porter and Maddie for still being in denial to each other's undying love", Kelsey said as the two now fifteen year olds got up and left the children circle. Ella laughed.

"They can't handle all our questions", she said smiling.

"Well that's all kids do!", Toby said laughing as well.

"Yep, that and play. Oh, here. Why don't you hold Bri now", Ella suggested. Toby's eyes widened as he looked at the little baby who was now giggling at his expression.

"I-I don't know how to hold a baby!", Toby said holding his hands up. Ella smiled. Maybe she did have another mission that needed to be completed before her other 'love missions'.

"Toby, it's really easy. Bri can sit up on her own so you don't have to worry about that. Just hold her with both hands, but not too tight", she said as she gently placed the smiling baby in her best friend's shaky arms. "Loosen up. You look like my Chihuahua with all your shaking"

"S-Sorry, I just d-don't know if I'm doing this right", he said stuttering. Ella smiled again before scooting closer to the two.

"Here, how about I help you hold her until you get the hang of it", she offered. Toby quickly nodded in relief as Ella Made her way over to where they could share the responsibility of holding the little girl. From all of Bri's giggling, she seemed to be enjoying the children's situation. Ella had somehow found herself leaning into Toby's side with his left arm around her as Bri sat curled up in Toby's lap with his other arm securely around her. Ella had one of her arms wrapped around the little girl as well just because Toby didn't trust himself enough to hold the baby without dropping her…even if they were already in the floor.

"Oh Ally, look!", Trish squealed as she interrupted Ally from their current conversation. Ally turned to where Trish was pointing and saw the cutest little sight of her daughter in Toby's arms as they were both holding Bri. They seemed to be quite happy with themselves.

"Oh how cute! Trish, give me my camera!", Ally demanded. Trish was quick to get Ally's small, digital camera out of her pre-packed bag. She also took a picture on Ella's cell phone just in case she would want it later on. "Austin, get over here! You have to see this!"

"Als, what are you-oh you have got to be kidding me", Austin said as he saw what the two girls were gushing over.

"Oh, my little girl's growing up so fast!", Ally cried as she wiped away a tear of joy from her eye.

"Too fast", Austin muttered.

"Cheer up big bro", Maddie said as she walked over to the scene. She put her arm up on Austin's shoulder as a prop. "They're cute, innocent, and young. You love Toby and it's not like he can just take her away from you any time soon. Just be happy for your daughter. I think it's going to take a lot more than a little cuddling while holding a baby to get those two six year olds to think they love each other."

"I hope", Austin said as he turned back to the three insane girls that think Ella and Toby are just going to fall in love and get married the second they grow up.

"Hey Ally, have you seen Dez? He just seems to have disappeared and he left me and Bri here without any way of getting home", Trish said.

"What? Do you live with them?", Ally asked jokingly. She knew her best friend wouldn't live with a guy until they were married (just like Ally had) unless it was an emergency circumstance, but it was sure fun to mess with her.

"Very funny Ally; now have you seen him?", Trish asked again, getting a little irritated with her best friend who was so far no help to her current predicament.

"No, but I'm sure he'll be here soon", Ally said.

"Aunt Trish, it's fine. Uncle Dez just went to go get a few things; he'll be back in a little bit", Ella said lifting her head up.

"Well he better be here soon", Trish complained as she sat down on the bed by Ally. Ally rolled her eyes at her best friend but smiled as she moved herself over just enough for Trish to lie down beside her. She was still in a bit of pain from the surgery, but she could finally move without it hurting so much.

"Ella, Bri fell asleep", Toby whispered. Ella smiled at the sight of Toby finally holding the baby by himself…and he didn't even realize it.

"Hey Bubba, you want me to hold her?", Kelsey asked as she walked back over to the pair. Toby thought for a second before he shook his head.

"No, let her sleep. She really is a cute baby", Toby said as quietly as he could. Ella smiled to herself at how Toby went from being terrified of holding a baby to not wanting to hand her over.

"Okay, just let me know if you get ready to hand her over", Kelsey said smiling as she walked away.

"That isn't going to be anytime soon", Ella heard Toby mumble under his breath. "It's sad that she doesn't have any parents", he continued.

"I don't think she minds not being with her birth parents. She has Uncle Dez and Aunt Trish is over there all the time. I know I'm glad I'm not with my birth parents", Ella said.

"I still don't know exactly what happened with all of that. No one ever explained to me how Austin and Ally aren't your birth parents", Toby said suddenly. Ella's eyes widened as she realized it was true; she had never once told her best friend the life story of how she came into this family.

"Then I guess it's story time", Ella said with a small smile.

With Trish

"Oh, and Ally, look at this picture I took of Bri eating apple sauce for the first time! Her face is so adorable right!?", Trish squealed as she showed Ally multiple pictures of the little girl. Ally smiled and laughed with her best friend as a picture of Bri with apple sauce all over her face and clothes, and a sour expression showed up on her phone.

"That is so cute Trish! Awe, it's like she's your baby!", Ally gushed.

"That's because she is", Trish said absentmindedly as she continued to scroll through her pictures. Ally just stared at her friend and wondered if she'd ever realize what she had just said, but she never did.

"Trish!", Dez exclaimed as he burst through the door.

"Dez!", Trish said mocking him.

"I have a surprise for you!", Dez continued as he sent Ella a secret wink. Ella laughed a little before going back to her conversation with Toby. "Maddie, will you please watch Bri for the night?"

"Sure. Austin, can we sleep at your house tonight?", Maddie asked turning to her other brother who nodded.

"Yeah, none of us will be there anyway", Austin said.

"Why does she need to keep Bri for the whole night?", Trish asked skeptically.

"Well, I had planned for today's surprise to end late tonight, and I didn't want to have to wake Bri up real late and drive her home after dark", Dez reasoned.

"Okay…", Trish said trailing off.

"Have fun Aunt Trish!", Ella called as Trish walked through the door. "Good luck", she then whispered to Dez.

"Dez, what are we doing?" Trish asked as they got to the car. Dez smiled before turning on the ignition.

"It's a surprise. Now, how about on the way home we listen to a few of the songs on the new album I'm trying to put together for Austin and Ally. It might even feature Maddie later on if we have enough room, but I can make her one for herself if not", Dez suggested. Trish nodded.

"That sounds cool. Is it going to be like a present for them when the babies come home?", Trish asked, having no clue that Dez was really just using Ella's plan for playing Trish's three favorite songs on the way home.

"I guess it can be if I get it's all done by then, but tonight is not about that. Tonight is all about us", Dez said. Trish smiled at her crazy yet incredible boyfriend.

"Okay, well play the music you have so far", she said as he quickly put in the CD.

"How can I convince you

What you see is real…"

"Oh my goodness, this is one of my favorite songs!", Trish exclaimed as she turned up the volume and started singing along to the songs…all of them.

"I wanna be first, yeah

Wanna be the first to take it all the way like this"

"I take it you like this song too?", Dez asked with a smile. Trish just nodded and kept singing.

"No way! Parachute is on here too!?"

"Trish, calm down. Goodness, Austin and Ally are our best friends/family. You could hear these songs anytime you want", Dez said laughing.

"Shut up Dez, my best friend is singing!", Trish snapped and started signing again.

"We're here", Dez said right as the song was going off. Well how's that for perfect timing?

"Okay, we're at your house. Now will you tell me what we're doing?", Trish whined.

"We're having a picnic", Dez smiled as Trish gasped at the sight of what he had prepared. It wasn't too extravagant, but he had a blanket laid out on the floor, battery operated candles on the side tables (that would be good for Dez to not be around real fire), and a picnic basket full of food on the couch. He even put the pillows on the floor so they would have something to lean against.

"Dez, this is…amazing! I can't believe you did all of this!", Trish exclaimed as she hugged him tightly.

"I'm glad you like it. I also hope you like this", Dez said as he grabbed a gift bag from behind the couch. He followed Ella's advice and got her a T-shirt. Luckily, he already knew what size Trish was from the many times he was forced to go shopping with her.

"Oh Dez, this is so cute! A purple, cheetah print top!? How did you know!?", Trish asked happily as she ran to the bathroom to go put it on. The more she thought about everything that was happening, the more curious she became. Why did all of this seem so familiar?

"Hey Trish, you ready to watch Letters From A Lover Lost?", Dez asked as he popped the movie in. Trish squealed in excitement, totally forgetting about what she was just thinking of, and cuddled up to Dez who was quite happy at this.

"How did you know my favorite movie", Trish asked once the movie had started.

Dez shrugged, "It's my favorite too".

"Wow, you have good taste in movies", Trish commented as she laid her head on Dez's chest. They happily watched the rest of the movie in pure bliss.

"Trish, are you happy?", Dez asked in a small voice. Trish turned to him with a smile on her obviously confused face at his question.

"Of course I am; this was an amazing night", she said.

"That's not what I meant", Dez said. Trish motioned for him to continue. "I mean, are you happy when it's not like this? Like are you happy just here, with me and Bri? Would you be happy if every day wasn't like this and was completely crazy?", Dez asked.

"Dez, I'm happy just being with you. I love you! I love everything there is about you, even when you annoy the crap out of me", Trish said making Dez laugh. "And I love Bri as my own daughter…I-I mean…"

"Trish, it's okay. I'm actually really glad you said that, because it'll make this that much easier", Dez said as he dropped down on one knee. Trish gasped and covered her mouth with tears threatening to fall from her eyes. "Trish, I love you with all my heart. The day we met, well, you laughed when asking if I was always like this. Isn't it weird to think you just said you actually liked that about me? And you said Bri felt like your daughter-"

"Uh, sister. Yeah, I meant sister", Trish interrupted him, not daring to meet his gaze.

"Well that's too bad. It would be weird for me to adopt her and you feel like she was your sister", Dez smirked. Trish immediately brought her head back up smiling.

"You're adopting her!?"

"I'm hoping to have a happy and complete family. For that to happen though, I'd need a wife and Bri would need a mother…so, with that said, Trish De La Rosa, will you marry me?", Dez asked with a hopeful smile as he held out a beautiful yet simple diamond ring.

"Yes!", Trish screamed as she jumped into Dez's arms. "Oh, now all of Ella's questions make sense"

"Yeah, she planned this entire date. I just knew I wanted to make it special for you", Dez said as he slid the ring on her finger.

"Well I'll have to thank her the next time I see her", Trish smiled as she kissed Dez full on the lips. "Now can we go see our daughter?"

"Our daughter…I like the sound of that", Dez smiled.

"Me too, so can we?", Trish asked impatiently.

"Heck yeah!", Dez exclaimed. They both ran out the door and jumped in the car, driving all the way over to Austin and Ally's house to see Bri and Maddie.
