Chapter 26

I just realized how mean we are to Bones so I give you:

Bones's Chapter

Bones's POV

So once again I was being abused by my friends as they forced me to follow along with their antics. Caitlin and Jim are going to be the death of me, at least when I become a CMO I can hypo them as much as I like. I can't decide which of them annoys me more, Caitlin does the most pranks on me, but Jim is allergic to everything and manages to always get hurt so I have to fix him up constantly.

Today, it was my day, my birthday specifically so no pranks, fights, etc. were allowed. I got those two to sign a contract a few years ago insuring that they won't even think about doing anything on my birthday. Unfortunately it seems they forgot all about that leading to my current situation.

Caitlin had broken into my room, dragged me out of bed without waking me and duct-taped me to the ceiling of the main hallway. Jim was of course involved as I would be too heavy for just Caitlin to have done it. Then again they both have their 'people' which often help just for the fun of it. Jim said most of his people are old friends or ex-girlfriends. Caitlin's people are a complete mystery though she mentioned that Rebecca helps her manage them.

Back to my predicament though, I was taped to a ceiling. How in the world they got that much duct-tape, I have no idea, but I had nothing around me to help me get down. So, I decided to do what I always recommend doing if you ever get stuck to a ceiling. I yelled as loud as I could down the hallway, alerting everyone to my location.

"Damn it Caitlin and Jim when I get down I'll give you the Arethian flu and you'll have to find some other sucker of a doctor to cure you!"

Eventually some kind-hearted students got me down and pointed out the direction the two troublemakers were seen going. They must've booked it as soon as they heard my yell, but they can't hide forever, I know where they live.

I grudgingly made my way back to the Enterprise crew dorms and a slammed the entrance door open pushed past a few nobodies then partially broke the elevator button just to wait for the goddamn thing to make it way to the godforsaken lobby. When the elevator doors opened I had to wait for everyone in the damn world to get off before I could get on. I quickly step on the flippin thing and repeatedly pressed the button that will take me to Caitlin's floor there not a doubt in my mind that she is there or in Rebecca's room.

After the elevator had to stop at every freakin floor just for nobody to get on or off I made it to Caitlin's floor. I stomped as loud as I could across the floor to Caitlin's room not caring if I annoyed the people on the floor below. I got to her door and bang loudly on the door waiting for her to open it though it was pointless because she would not open her door anyway, but I tried anyways.

Eventually, after a few moments the odd, female, green blooded hybrid popped her head out of her room and looked casually over at me and asked me "Is there something I could help you with doctor?"

Doctor? she never calls me just doctor maybe doctor McCoy but never doctor. "You know damn well what you can help me with" I yelled

"I do not know what you are referring to, Doctor." She told me.

"Where is that damned she-devil at?" I demanded.

"I was unaware that a creature similar to an evil christian figure was living in this building." Rebecca monotonously replied as she went to close her door again. I knew she was harboring the fugitive so I went over to her door and banged on it till she opened it again, "Well, What a lovely surprise!" She exclaimed sarcastically when she reopened the door.

"Enough with the games!" I yelled as I pushed past her and into the room, but instead of seeing Caitlin longing on the couch I saw that green blooded, pointed ear bastard studying a chessboard looking for his next move to play.

"What's he doing here?" I asked completely confused, though I don't know why, Cat and Jim has told me on several occasions that they seem to be hanging out with each other more often.

"Bones, what the-" Rebecca started to say, but was cut off by me.

"Where is she?" I asked running around her room trying to search for the female trickster. I searched under tables and opening doors in the attempt to find her.

"Who? Caitlin?" She asked sounding a little bit angry.

"Yes Caitlin, Where is she." I asked again grabbing her shoulders which made the forgotten Spock jump up not understanding what was going on and that this was a typical thing to happen.

"Her and Jim left awhile ago said they had some things to do" Rebecca said catching the sudden movement from Spock that I didn't see.

"But where did they go?" I asked gently shaking her shoulders trying to get more info from her.

"I am not sure they said they'll be back at Jim's place around seven." she informed me, but I could tell she knew something that I didn't.

"Come on Becca, You know something." I said shaking her a little bit harder.

But the damn green blooded hemoglobin decided that he didn't like that and he pulled my arms off of her and stood between me and Rebecca with a dark shadow looming on his face "I believed that Miss. Morgan has told you her answer and it is in your best interest if you leave" Spock threatened.

I quickly left the room and made a beeline down to the other end of the hall where my room was, making sure to make as much damn noise as possible. I stomped over to my replicator and got me some whiskey and slumped down in my nice comfy armchair and brooded about life for good long while, waiting till seven so I can go yell Jim and Cat's heads off and hypo there asses.

I stared at the clock as I nursed my whiskey, it was only four in the afternoon. Angrily I grabbed the remote from beside me and turned on the television, the news was on.

"This morning at Starfleet Academy, a former student was found duct-taped to the ceiling in the main hallway. Several eyewitnesses are here to make a statement. So Fred and George, what did you see early this morning?" the newscaster asked

"Well, Miranda I saw nothing, this is just a big hoax you know. No one saw anything they just want attention." George responded.

"Yeah, how would they have gotten someone up there in the first place?" Fred added.

"Well then how do you explain these photo some students took?" the newscaster challenged as she showed some photos of me still asleep at the time.

"Those are photo shopped, you can tell by the ceiling. It looks curved doesn't it?" Fred answered. They then left, grinning happily as they had gotten away SCOTCH free.

"There you have it viewers, a hoax at Starfleet! Back to you Tom." the newscaster said.

I quickly changed the channel to my favorite show, Bones. She's such an amazing actress and the show is very accurate at least from a medical standpoint. The drama and tension between the characters makes the show unique, though some say it isn't as good since the main characters have finally gotten together. I think it makes it better because now they have to make a new problem to distract or otherwise divert the main characters from their goal.

By the time the marathon ended, and I got caught up with the episodes I missed, it was seven. Time to go find the traitors at last. I drank the rest of my whiskey and angrily marched out the door.

I hope you guys enjoying Bones Chapter(s). Review
