A/B: Hi! Do you still remember me? I really hope so... Anyway, I really apologize for the long wait, but my life has been very busy lately. New school, new people and a new crush (what is life without a crush?). For a moment I was in a really bad place (I felt very alone), but now it's all okay again. I know this chapter is rather short and not really good, but it's just a filler, so expect the next chapter to be longer (and hopefully better). I also apologize for all the mistakes, but I'm very tired (it's midnight here).

Enjoy and please leave a review! Thank you all for reading.

"Let me get this straight, Blaine. You and your douchebag of an ex-boyfriend are friends again?"

Blaine sighed throwing a small green ball across the room. Maggie ran cheerfully to the object and pushed it with her nose so adorably that the hazel-eyed boy just had to smile. "We're not friends, Coop. It's just…everyone deserves a second chance. How could I tell him that I don't want him anywhere near my child?"

"I hope you know what you're doing." Cooper said softly. "I really don't want that bastard to hurt you again."

"Don't call him that, please." Blaine said, not quite sure why he was defending Sebastian. Maggie kept playing with the ball, pushing it around Blaine's room with her nose and legs. Blaine leaned his back against the pillows and rested his free hand against his swollen stomach. "I keep fighting with my feelings and you being so skeptical about this whole thing isn't helping me."

"What does Kurt think about it?" Cooper asked carefully, clearly not wanting to upset his brother even more.

"He just wants me to be happy." Blaine said, smiling softly at the mention of his amazing boyfriend. "He's very supportive."

"Just don't let Sebastian mess with your mind." Cooper said knowing that Sebastian was really good with words when he wanted to be.

"I'm resistant to his charms, don't worry." Blaine said trying to convince both Cooper and himself. He knew that Sebastian wanted to get back together and Blaine still felt some kind of connection to him, but he was sure of his feelings to Kurt. "Are you planning to visit us soon?" He asked, hoping to see his brother again.

"I wish I could, but I have a lot of auditions, Squirt." Cooper said reluctantly, but there was trace of pride in his voice. "Don't worry, though. Once the little one is here you won't get away from me. My nice or nephew has to know who is her best uncle in the whole world."

Blaine chuckled. "I still have five months until that big day, luckily."

There was a moment of silence and then Cooper asked carefully. "What about mom and dad?"

"We're working things out." Blaine answered. It seemed like they finally understood that if they wanted Blaine's happiness then they should let him make his own decisions. "I haven't completely forgiven them yet for trying to force me into giving the baby to Mom's friends, but I'm getting there." Blaine said truthfully.

They chatted for a few more minutes discussing Cooper's choice of songs for his auditions and Blaine's newest assignment for glee club. When they hung up Blaine tried to focus on his homework, but an unpleasant thought managed to creep into his mind. His next doctor appointment was scheduled for the next week, and while he was really excited to see his unborn baby and possibly find out if he was carrying a boy or a girl, he realized what it really meant.

Since Sebastian wanted to be a part of his child's life Blaine knew that bringing him along was the right thing to do. Even though Sebastian's father still probably didn't have any idea that he was going to be a grandfather in the nearest future, Blaine still had to give him a chance to prove that he was ready to devote a major part of his life to this child, and going together to that doctor appointment seemed like the best way to start building some sort of friendly relation between them for the child's sake.

The problem was that Blaine feared that Sebastian might want to use this situation for an attempt to win Blaine back again. He knew better than anyone how it felt like to be heartbroken and even though he still was hurt by Sebastian, he didn't want him to go through such pain. It would be awkward and unnecessary for both of them.

And Blaine also had to think about Kurt. He knew that his boyfriend would understand why he couldn't go with Blaine this time (the three of them in one tiny doctor office would definitely not be a good idea if they didn't want to set the whole place on fire).

As if sensing Blaine's not so good mood, Maggie left the green ball alone and hopped onto the bed. He smiled at the puppy and took her into his arms rubbing her between the ears. He really loved having this dog around. She would always make him smile no matter how sad he was. He had had her for a little over a week, but Blaine already loved her.

The rest of the slow evening Blaine spent in his room playing some songs on his guitar, doing the rest of his homework and occasionally throwing the ball for Maggie. When Blaine was done and he was too tired to do anything else, he walked down the stairs, made himself some sandwiches and went back to his room where he ate them while watching a movie on his laptop. Halfway through his eyelids became too heavy and for a few minutes he was at the edge of sleep, but the buzzing of his cell-phone pulled him back into reality. He was a little annoyed at first, but when he saw that it was a text message from Kurt, a mixture of various feelings entered his heart.

He was happy to know that his boyfriend cared enough about him to text even though he was probably exhausted from all the schoolwork since it was Wednesday. At the same time he was kind of nervous, as it reminded him of the fact that they had to talk about the docor appointment in the nearest future. Blaine knew for a fact that Kurt liked the last appointment and was looking forward to the next one as it was all very exciting for him. Blaine hated that he had to upset him.

Blaine opened the text message and read it, trying to push all of these thoughts to the back of his mind.

Good evening! I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but do you have time for a call? – Kurt

Blaine smiled, and typed the reply without any hesitation. Not even a minute later his cell phone started buzzing again with an incoming call.

"Hello!" Kurt greeted him cheerfully. As soon as Blaine heard his voice, his heart skipped a beat. "How are you doing?"

"Good." Blaine said, only half-lying. "What about you? Aren't you sick of prestigious Dalton Academy yet?" He asked smirking.

"Just a tiny a little bit, maybe." Kurt said. "Sometimes I wish I could transfer back to McKinley…"

"No." Blaine said firmly. "Please, don't start this conversation right now. We've talked about it enough already."

He heard a sigh on the other end. "Well, anyway, would you like to maybe go for a coffee tomorrow with me?" Kurt asked, hope evident in his mellow voice.

"That sounds nice." Blaine said smiling dreamily at the prospect of another date with his boyfriend. "Just please don't bring along anyone, okay? We spend not enough time together."

"I know." Kurt said sadly. "If I transferred back to-"

"No." Blaine cut him off. "How many times do I have to tell you that I don't want you to be there? No one knows that I'm gay yet, or pregnant for that matter, so please just drop that."

"Well, I'm sorry for being worried about you. Forgive me for thinking that being in a relationship is about helping each other." Kurt snapped. It was clear that he was way more tired than he wanted to admit.

Blaine waited a couple of minutes for Kurt to calm down and then said soothingly. "I really love that you care so much about me and I'm not mad at you for that, but I want you to stop trying to talk me into this. I care about you way too much to make you confront your tormentors again."

"I'm sorry." Kurt said quietly. "I just can't stand the thought that something bad might happen to you. You don't deserve to live in fear."

"No one does. Life's not fair." Blaine said bitterly. "All we can do is adapt."

"Or try to make it better." Kurt said carefully.

"Yeah." Blaine admitted lying down on the bed and pulling covers over his body. He knew that it was kind of pointless as he would have to get back up to shower and change into his pajamas, but he suddenly felt very cold. Maybe it was because Blaine wished in that moment to hold Kurt or be held by him more than anything. He wanted to believe that they could change the world, but sometimes it was really hard.

"We should both go to sleep." Kurt said gently after a moment of silence. "We have to be well-rested for tomorrow."

Blaine smiled at the prospect of seeing Kurt again and possibly getting lost in his indescribable eyes. He knew that he would have to tell him about the doctor appointment, but he was almost positive that Kurt would keep supporting him no matter what.

"Tomorrow. I can't wait to see you again." Blaine said.

"Me neither. Good night, Blaine." Kurt said softly.

"Good night, Kurt."

When Blaine woke up the next morning he spent twenty minutes just staring at his cell-phone and debating with himself if he should just call Sebastian right away and get it over with. The green-eyed boy liked to be awake before everyone else, so he wouldn't be on the edge of unconsciousness during the conversation.

He decided at last that maybe talking to Kurt first was a better idea, so he finally pocketed his cell phone and started getting ready for school.

When Blaine walked down the stairs to grab something for breakfast from the kitchen, surprisingly both of his parents were drinking coffee at the table and talking about morning news. Even though they were technically on talking terms again, he still wasn't completely comfortable with being with them in one room for more than five minutes. The silence surrounding them was always tense and awkward.

"Good morning, Blaine." His mother greeted him, smiling softly.

The hazel-eyed boy did his best to return the smile. "Good morning." He walked over to the fridge and took a carton of milk out of it. "Oh, I might be home a little later than usual." He said. "I'm going on a date with Kurt."

"Okay." Monic said. "Just don't be home too late."

Blaine nodded his head. He started making himself a sandwich, when his dad spoke up. "Blaine, if we are really going to do this, then I think it's time to finally talk to your ex-boyfriend."

Blaine stopped mid-movement and turned around to look into his father's eyes. When Blaine realized that he was completely serious, his eyes widened. Having both his parents and his ex-boyfriend in the same room would be a disaster. But on the other hand he knew that this meeting was unavoidable. He sighed looking at both of his parents. "Are you sure it's a good idea?"

"We don't even know this boy." Monic said standing up from the chair. She approached Blaine and slowly took his hand into hers. "You said that he wants to be involved after all."

"Yes, but…" Blaine trailed off not really knowing what to say.

Monic gently squeezed his hand cradling it in both of hers. "Trust me, I don't want to have this conversation either, but it just has to happen. Whatever we like it or not, because of this child you're tied to Sebastian."

"I know." Blaine said quietly. "I will call him today."

"Thank you." Monic said. She squeezed his hand one more time and sat back down at the table.

Blaine wasn't all that hungry anymore, but he had to eat something for the baby's sake, so he finished making his sandwich and ate it as quickly as he could wanting to be alone already.

When he was done, Blaine swung his bag over his shoulder and excited the house sensing that the rest of the week would be much more difficult and intense.
