A/N: Hey guys, so I've gotten some lovely reviews lately, and I think that was all I needed to break this dumb writers block to get this story done, so thank you guys so much! Anyway I got a message this morning asking for an update, so here you go ;)

Chapter 27: Yes

"Sir, please put your tray table in the upright position, we're about to take off," the air hostess told a very angry Kendall, who grumbled his reply as she walked away.

"Look, I know you're mad, but that's no reason to ignore the flight staff," Logan said, and Kendall muttered something intelligible before slamming his tray table up and jamming the catch on.

"Or abuse the plane," James told him, and Kendall shot a glare in the pretty boy's direction.

"This is stupid!" Kendall fumed "Why can't we just play shows in LA? Or like the nearest cities and take like, day trips or something?"

"Dude, we know this is hard for you, but we gotta think about the band too," Carlos put in from where he and James were sitting across the aisle.

"He's right," James put in "I mean, we could've just done fair dates around LA, but ever since we stopped in the middle of our concert last year for you to see Lacey - which we totally didn't mind doing!" he added hastily as Kendall shot him a look "- everyone's kinda been waiting to see if BTR will get back on the road, you know?"

"Exactly," Logan said from Kendall's other side "I know you didn't want to leave Jo and Lacey, but is there ever gonna be a time when you won't? Is there ever gonna be a good time to do this?" Kendall stared at his fingers for a while before mumbling 'fine' and turning his attention to his movie.

"Why do you guys always have to be right?" he asked, only to be met with three identical smirks from either side of him.

What seemed like minutes later, the guys gotten off the plane, jumped in the tour bus, driven to the venue, played a show, and were now hanging out in the tour bus as they drove down the highway in almost pitch black, illuminated every now and again with a street light.

Kendall's anger had followed him off the plane, and although he hadn't been rude to any fans, he had let the other guys do most of the cheery meet and greet stuff, and he was now sitting on the couch with the TV remote in one hand, and aimlessly flipping through channels. He landed on the E News channel, and was almost contemplating shutting off the TV all together, when the newsreaders next announcement caught his ear,

"Please make her Welcome, star of CW's New Town High, Jo Taylor!" the audience on the show erupted into cheers and applause as Kendall swiveled in his seat,

"Guys! It's Jo! Jo's being interviewed for E News!" he called, practically bouncing in his seat as the other guys made their way over to sit beside their friend.

"She looks exhausted," Logan said empathetically, and Kendall sighed as he caught sight of the dark circles under his girlfriends eyes; being a single mum, even temporarily, was taking its toll on her.

"So, how are you, Jo? How's your little girl? We haven't heard about her in a while," the news reporter asked conversationally, although Kendall couldn't help the small spark of anger that had just ignited in him at the woman's words. Logan, who saw Kendall's expression change, was quick to console him,

"Dude, chill, she was just being friendly,"

"She's totally prying," Kendall muttered under his breath as Jo began her answer,

"I'm well, thank you, and so is Lacey, she's walking and talking and stuff which is just amazing. But yeah, we sort of wanted our first year as a family to be kinda private, I don't wanna expose her to Hollywood at such a young age,"

"And that's fair enough," the news reader nodded "Hollywood can be pretty terrifying, especially when you're little," Jo nodded, giving that smile that Kendall missed so much "Speaking of family, though," the reporter continued "you're missing a part of yours right now aren't you?"

"Yeah," Jo said "Kendall and the boys are on another tour, so it's just me and Lacey right now, but Kendall's mom's been a great support, she's like my LA mom,"

"Now, I have a report here that you and you and Kendall are engaged, is that right?"

"Um, no it's not," Jo corrected "he did propose a while back, but we decided we weren't quite ready for that yet,"

"Oh, really? But you had a baby so young-"

"Yeah-" Jo got in.

"-but you weren't ready to get married-?" the woman pressed on, as if she hadn't heard her.

"Yeah-"

"Was it just that he wasn't the right guy? Do you have someone else in mind?"

"Yes-no, I-" Jo stuttered. Kendall's heart dropped, and he shut the TV off, rounding on his friends.

"Did you hear what she said?" he demanded of them, making Logan jump slightly in his seat. "She said I wasn't the right guy!"

"Kendall-" James began.

"There's another guy! She said so!"

"Kendall!" Logan said louder "It was just all the questions that woman was asking her, she just got really stressed, it was the pressure, seriously!"

"No it wasn't!" Kendall's rational brain told him that Logan was right, and Jo was just struggling to answer all the questions at once, but he was so emotional lately at missing his family, it was as if no rational thought could get anywhere near him, and so he leapt to his feet, "She said there was another guy! She doesn't love me any more!"

"She does!" Carlos tried "She loves you and Lacey more than anything-"

"No she doesn't, OK?" Kendall thundered "Not any more!"

"You know what?" Logan jumped to his feet too, confronting Kendall head on "You just keep being stubborn, alright? Whatever!" Logan yelled into Kendall's face before turning on his heel and storming towards the bedroom area. "Coming guys?" he shot at uncharacteristically at James and Carlos, who knew better than to argue with an angry Logan, and followed him wordlessly, leaving a fuming Kendall alone in the living area of the tour bus.

A/N: Oh Kendall, why so stubborn? :)
