"So what happened, Alan?" Gordon asked Alan as he was sat in the canteen, not touching his food. He had been restless for the last five minutes, and was not up for eating. Gordon thought Alan might eat if he told them what he saw. After all, it would put everyone at ease. Hopefully.

"I'm telling you, someone was in Vi's room!" He sulked. It probably didn't help that it seemed ludicrous yet possible at the same time. How on earth would they get into Violet's room? Why didn't Alan just run in and stop them?

"I believe you, Sprout, but who were they?" Virgil was leaning next to Alan, desperate not to miss even a whisper.

"I don't know. They looked like a doctor."

"Doctor Coates?" Virgil asked breathlessly.

"No. He was with Dad." Alan told them "Someone else. I don't know who. They had dark hair and evil eyes."

"Why would someone do that?" John wondered.

"Maybe she saw who caused the explosion? And couldn't afford to have everyone find out it was them?" Virgil said.

"Maybe, but surely they could have killed her at any time? Why did they wait until she was out of the coma?" Scott inputted "Alan said he looked like a Doctor, so he could've easily turned off the life support machine or something."

"Let's not talk about this, here and now, and especially not with Alan." John scolded, nodding at the youngest, who was now actually eating.

Come on, why on earth would someone try to kill our sister?

- Violet -

Waking up. It can be a blessing or a curse, but at this particular moment in time, Violet wished she was asleep. She felt light-headed and sick, like she wanted to throw up on the spot, but what she did do was coughing. She couldn't breathe, it was so hard to.

"Violet, calm down, calm down," a voice said, someone unrecognisable.

"Wha..." she mumbled, "What...?"

"She's conscious -" That was what the same voice said, before she sat up a little and promptly broke into a coughing fit, feeling something come up her throat. She felt like she wanted to be sick, but didn't have anything to throw up.

"It's okay, Violet..." A female voice spoke, patting her back quite hard, trying to help her stop choking. Violet wasn't sure about much anymore. What happened -?

Oh yeah.

I remember.

That man.

"Where's -?" She asked between coughs "Where's - Dad?"

"Outside, he knows you're alright, Violet." The same voice said.

It took the best part of 5 minutes to calm Violet's breathing, mostly thanks to an oxygen tank but otherwise she had controlled her breathing. But either way, she was "alright". Her father wanted to see her, but she wasn't too sure she wanted to see him. She couldn't remember what that man looked like, she was too groggy to remember his appearance. That wasn't good.

"I'm too tired, Nurse," Violet told her, " I want to sleep."

"Okay then, go ahead." They said to her.

But thinking about it, Violet did not really want to go to sleep. What if that man came back? He might get her this time. He might get her this time! She can't let him. She has to be vigilant. She can't let him.

She heard the door open and close again as she coughed a few more times, as she had a slight tickle in her chest. Another nurse looked at her for a second, to check it wasn't on-going, before continuing writing once they were certain she wasn't going to break into another coughing fit. That incident must be on that sheet of paper now, surely?

Violet so badly wanted to see her father though. He must be terrified. While she doesn't want to face him, she wants to see him. And Virgil. But she supposed she should be careful what she wishes for because she spent forever in a coma watching but not facing her family. No, she's done that for long enough.

Where is Virgil anyway? Where are my brothers? This is a pretty ridiculous spectacle. I can see someone through the door with the nurse, but none of my brothers. Knowing Dad and Grandma, they'll have been sent away for the time being.

So what happens now?

I have no idea what to say. It has been nearly three months since the last update. I have had writers block, and no idea what to do. I have an idea for when Violet gets out of Hospital, but how to get her out is another matter. Any ideas? Please review, I'd love to know what you think. I promise that updates will be longer than this and more frequent :)
