"No!" I tried to get to her, but Thor stopped me. They all looked at me with that hideous thing in their eyes. Pity. Like I was something to be pitied. He held me tight but all I could see was Enya. She was bathed in orange light and it would look so peaceful if it wasn't for these mortals alive. While Enya was dead. She was leaning back, power charging through her open wounds through, up and out of her chest, into the air. The power bound together, the litthu trying to get past the defence. She had her eyes closed, and her burns and cuts seemed much worse in the orange light. She was in the canister up to her hips, wire leading from inside to her chest.

"Loki, she's dead. You can't do anything."

"If you turn it off,"

"No." Tony shook his head. He had pity too. They all had it. "That much power would have killed her by now. She's just a shell for the power."

"How long must we keep her like that?"

"Until each of them die." They all looked to me, my brothers arms holding me up. They thought Loki had gone weak. I saw it. Finally, they thought. Finally he had found his sane side. He had found a way to act human. And now he's sane, maybe he'll be more amicable. But I won't. I won't.

"Loki, let's go somewhere else." I heard Thor, trying to talk to me. "Brother!" I looked at him, a little lost in myself. "Let us go somewhere else. Let us be somewhere not here." He dragged me away but I couldn't tear my eyes from her. Until I saw Warren lying down next to the canister whining occasionally. He wouldn't leave. He wouldn't leave her. Warren was as loyal as a dog could be to a human. And with Enya he was the loyalist. He couldn't and wouldn't leave.

She disappeared from sight, they all did.

"Loki, talk to me." I just sat and stared at the bodies Neil's men were moving from the warehouse and out the door. "Brother, talk to me." He shifted closer. "You didn't tell me Enya was precious to you."

"She was my only friend." I said to him in a quiet voice. "She liked me, despite who I proved to be. Just like Mother had. And because of me, they are both gone."

"No brother. She knew what she was doing. She knew what she was putting herself at risk for. As do we all."

"She didn't ask for this." I yelled at him. I started kicking things, destroying things. Things flew across the room crashing into walls. Things exploded. "She didn't want to be a weapon. She didn't want to even be a part of this team. I persuaded her bribing her friends. She wanted to be free and left alone. And you misfits, you brother, ruined everything. We were getting on just fine." Things crashed into walls for a second longer before I sank on the floor exhausted.

"Loki, I'm sorry."

"Sorry doesn't bring her back Thor." I growled. "She protected Jane Foster, someone who was important to you. And in return you help kill mine."

"Brother,"

"No!" I pushed him off me. "No. You are not my brother." I swept out the room, destroying things in my wake.

It hit me then. I could use magic. I thought its ability had gone with no use over time. But I had it. And I would get my revenge on Thor. On them all. For ruining everything!
