One week! woo-hoo!

Killian took a deep breath as he stood between the staircases on the deck of his ship. He smiled as best he could at everyone who was sitting in the audience. He might look the picture of calm on the outside, but on the inside he was churning with nerves. As ready as he was to be a husband to Emma and finally unite their family, this wedding ceremony terrified him.

"Ten minutes ago, I saw you," Ashley's voice sang out as Henry walked Mary Margaret down the aisle. The young boy proudly escorted his grandmother to her seat before taking his place beside Killian.

Despite the butterflies causing a hurricane in his stomach he couldn't help the laugh which bubbled up as the twins came down the aisle. Austin was hamming it up as he strutted down. Brooklyn looked every bit the princess with her ivory dress and flowered tiara.

Brooklyn pulled up suddenly, her eyes welling with tears as she looked helplessly at her empty flower basket.

"What's wrong, Sweetheart?" Killian knelt down next to her when she began picking up petals around her.

"I ran out," she pouted pathetically.

"It's okay, Princess. They just didn't give you enough petals to cover the entire aisle. You did a lovely job with what you were given," Killian took her hand and lead her down the aisle after pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"Thank you, Daddy," she smiled at her father adoringly.

Killian winked at her and then turned his attention to the aisle to watch Ruby. The brunette had her hair pinned back in a river of curls, with strands of red framing her face. She smiled at Killian in a way which said she knew what Killian wanted to do to Emma the first moment they were alone.

Ashley finished out her song as everyone aboard the Jolly Roger rose to their feet. Suddenly Emma appeared as if she'd floated in on a cloud.

She held flowers in one hand while her other arm was linked with her father's as David walked her down the aisle. She didn't look anywhere but at Killian who smiled at her the entire time.

Killian's nerves vanished.

Father and daughter reached the end of the aisle, and David let go of her arm to put her hand in Killian's. Before he went to sit with Mary Margaret, David put a hand on Killian's shoulder and smiled before he kissed Emma's cheek.

"You look beautiful, Emma," David said to his daughter.

"Thank you...Dad," Emma smiled at him.

"Nervous, Pirate?" Emma asked Killian when they turned towards the altar.

"Not anymore," he kissed her hand softly.

"Let's do this," Emma nodded with a smile.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you," she said back before she looked to their minister, "We're ready."

The ceremony passed in a blur until the moment they were pronounced husband and wife and Killian was told to kiss his bride. Killian bent her backwards and kissed her with everything he had in him. Those gathered erupted in applause.

Henry, Brooklyn, and Austin rushed in to join in the hug Emma gave Killian once they were standing upright again.

Killian picked Brooklyn up as the family made their way down the aisle as a unit to more applause.

"For the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Killian Jones," Ruby announced as Emma and Killian walked into the reception at Granny's.

The applause were deafening as the couple strolled to the center of the room holding hands. The applause got louder when Killian swept his bride into his arms and twirled her around with a kiss.

Whistle echoed in the diner as Emma and Killian erupted with laughter. They were the picture of happiness as they accepted the well wishes of the townsfolk.

"And now, the couple will have their first dance," Ruby said when the crowd quieted down. "They wanted the first song they ever danced to be their first as man and wife, but "How to Save a Life" isn't terribly romantic so they settled on "When You Come Back to Me Again" by Garth Brooks." Ruby pointed to the DJ who hit some buttons and the song came over the speakers.

"Care to dance, Mrs. Jones," Killian held out his hand to Emma.

"Do you really have to ask?" she wrapped her arms around his neck and began swaying in time to the first few cords of the song.

"Have I mentioned how gorgeous you look?" he asked her.

"Why, no, I don't think you have."

"How silly of me," his lips brushed against the shell of her ear as he spoke, "You take my breath away with how beautiful you look in this dress."

Emma's eyes drifted closed as she breathed Killian's essence in, "Thank you."

"We're married," Killian's voice reflected the wonder which he felt by the phrase.

"Finally," Emma nodded slightly.

"Em, this should-"

"Shh," Emma shook her head slightly, her fingers running through the hair at the nape of his neck. "No more should haves or would haves, okay? This day, this moment, happened right when it was meant to."

"God, I love you," he buried his head into her neck to inhale the sweet scent she'd added. He felt tears bubbling to the surface as the moment truly hit him.

Emma smiled and signaled Ruby who took the microphone again, "Killian and Emma invite all couples to join them on the floor."

"You okay?" Emma caressed his cheek when his eyes locked with hers.

"Happy," Killian smiled. "I'm just happy."

"Good," she replied as the songs final notes played. She could see her father approaching for the traditional father-daughter dance. She briefly wondered if Killian would release her, but he bowed slightly and stepped away from his bride. He reluctantly turned and sought out Mary Margaret.

Emma took David's hand and put her other on his shoulder as he put an arm lightly around her waist.

"How are you?" he asked.

"Blissfully happy," Emma's happiness radiated out of every pore.

"I remember the feeling," David snuck a look at his wife who was dancing with their son-in-law. "He better be good to you."

"He already is," Emma assured him.

"Good," David nodded. "You are one the two loveliest brides I've ever seen."

"You're a bit bias," she replied.

"True, but I'm right," David smiled. "I'll add one when Brooklyn gets married."

"Don't even picture it," Emma groaned.

"I bet you're hoping it is a long way off just like me," he chuckled.

"Yes," Emma nodded. "I can't even handle Henry's little flirt-ship with Ava."

"They grow quickly," David sighed, "It's best to enjoy it while you can."

"You and Mom should do it again. I promise I don't mind."

"Do what again?" David asked.

"Have another baby," Emma elaborated.

"I think we're a little-"

"You're the same age I am, so be very careful of what comes out of your mouth next."

"I guess I just feel a bit older," he chuckled, "After all, it was my daughter who got married today."

Emma smiled giddily as the song ended, and she followed her father to the head table where she sat next to Killian.

Brooklyn climbed over her mother to park herself in her father's lap as their meal was served.

"I cannot believe you two decided on burgers and fries for the dinner," Mary Margaret shook her head.

"We like them," Emma defended herself.

Brooklyn snuck fries from her father's plate and popped them into her mouth every time her father's head was turned.

"You are a sneaky little thing," Emma nipped at her cheek.

Brooklyn giggled at her mother before she turned her Bambi eyes on her father.

"How about you eat your own burger and fries, Brookie?" Mary Margaret passed her granddaughter's plate towards her.

"I like Daddy's better," Brooklyn said matter of fact.

"You are daddy's little girl, aren't you?" Mary Margaret snickered as Emma brushed the pile of fries from Brooklyn's plate onto Killian's to make up for the fries Brooklyn had been sneaking from him.

Emma took a sip of her water before leaning back in her chair to watch the activity of the party around her. After living in Boston for so long, falling asleep in the silent Storybrooke had been hard. With noise around her now, she felt herself drifting.

"Everything alright, Love?" Killian brought her attention back to the moment, "You appeared to wander off for a moment."

"It's the noise," Emma admitted. "Makes me sleepy."

"I can quiet the crowd for you," he leaned in to kiss her cheek softly.

"No, I kind of like it," Emma leaned instinctively towards him.

"Daddy, can we dance when the music starts again?" Brooklyn brought her father's attention back to her.

"We absolutely can," Killian nodded at his daughter.

"Mommy can dance with Austin and Henry, so we can dance twice, right?" Brooklyn eager eyes batted.

"Yes, we can dance twice," Killian laughed. "I love you, Brookie."

"I love you, Daddy," she kissed his cheek before hopping off his lap to climb into her grandfather's lap appearing to fill her dance card for the evening.

"We've got a little man killer on our hands," Emma murmured.

"Over my dead body," Killian growled.

"She's going to grow up, Killian," Emma hid a smile. "She will grow up, and boys will come knocking."

"I'll fight them off one after another," Killian stated.

"Just be a good example of how a guy is supposed to treat a woman he cares about," Emma said with a smile.

Killian leaned over and kissed her cheek again.

"How long do we have to stay here before I can get you alone so I can tear off all your clothes?" Emma whispered into Killian's ear.

"We can slip away right now if you'd like," he waggled an eyebrow towards her.

"Don't even think about it," Mary Margaret interrupted. "Speeches need to be given, the garter and bouquet need to be tossed, and rice needs to be thrown.

"Rice thrown?" Killian repeated in confusion, "What for?"

"It's a tradition," Emma rolled her eyes.

"What an odd tradition," Killian noted.

"The last wedding we were at, we ducked out before the rice," Emma noted.

"Seems like a waste of a perfectly good grain," Killian continued to think out loud.

"Let it go, Killian," Emma patted his shoulder, "It's a tradition. It's going to happen."

"Alright," Killian nodded. "I do look forward to getting the garter off your leg."

"Grooms sometimes use their teeth to remove it," Emma gave him a mischievous grin.

"Wouldn't be able to control myself, Love," Killian smiled.

"I'm counting on it."

"There are certain things I believe should remain private in a relationship," he took her hand. "That's my number one."

Emma sighed in what appeared to be disappointment as the clinking of glasses rang out.

"Kiss, kiss, kiss," the townsfolk chanted.

"What's this?" Killian looked around them.

"A stupid tradition we're going to ignore no matter how loudly they clink their glasses."

"What does one do during this tradition?" Killian asked.

"We're supposed to kiss every time they tap their glasses with their utensils," she explained, "Like I said, stupid tradition."

Killian smiled and curled his arm around Emma's neck before he kissed her.

Emma wanted to protest as his lips slid against hers, but she couldn't.

"Whoo!" Ruby laughed while Leroy let out a low whistle.

Emma was blushing as she pulled away breathlessly.

"Okay that is the only time this is going to happen, so I hoped you all enjoyed it."

The glasses began to ring again, louder than the first time.

"Come here, my love," Killian smiled and leaned towards her.

"No," Emma leaned back in her chair.

"It's a little late to be playing hard to get, Love."

"I hate you," Emma laughed before he kissed her.

Another chorus of cheers rang out. The liquor was flowing. Everyone was more than merry as a result. They tried the tactic one more time.

"Last time," Emma shot out her most stern look as she wrapped her arms around Killian's neck and laid one heck of a good kiss on him.

"Thank you all for coming, enjoy the cake, we're leaving," Killian said with a grin as he and Emma ended their kiss.

"You need to dance with your daughter," Emma reminded him.

"I did promise, didn't I?" Killian looked over his shoulder to his daughter.

"A few more minutes won't hurt," she rose from her chair and went over to the DJ to get the music restarted.

Henry claimed the right of age and danced with Emma first while Mary Margaret took Austin, and David danced with Ruby.

Killian whirled Brooklyn around the dance floor as she twirled around in time with the music. Emma hoped the photographer they hired was smarted enough to capture the moment.

When Killian and Emma had fulfilled their dancing duties for the time being, Emma took her husband aside.

"I've been fighting this urge," Emma confessed.

"Never fight an urge, my Darling," he smiled.

"Mind out of the gutter," she glared at him.

"Gutter, sorry, don't understand the reference," he frowned in confusion.

"It's not important," she replied.

"On the contrary, this urge is very important," he told her, "You'll have to share it. Perhaps I can even help you relieve it."

"Come outside with me for a moment," Emma pulled him out the back door into the alley. "I've been trying to decide whether or not I want to do something since I woke up this morning."

"How can I help you make up your mind?" he backed her against the nearby wall.

"Do you want to know what we're having before Dr. Whale can tell us?"

"Having?" he asked as he lifted an eyebrow, "I think I'll be having you. No need for Dr. Whale's instruction. I'm capable all on my own."

"I mean the baby," Emma laughed while holding him at bay. "We'll be able to know in a few months, but do you want to know now? There might be a way to figure it out."

"We're having a baby," Killian still wasn't understanding what she was talking about, "What is Dr. Whale going to tell us we don't already know? It will have two feet, hopefully two hands, a head, a nose, two eyes..."

"I meant do you want to know if we're having a boy or a girl," she put her hand over his mouth to silence him.

"How is the doctor going to tell us? Is he some kind of seer?"

"There are machines which can see inside my stomach and take pictures," Emma held up a necklace, "There's also this. It was my grandmother's, and the legend says it can tell you if the baby is a boy or a girl."

"Do you want to know?" Killian inquired.

"I don't know. I found out with the twins only because my doctor wasn't expecting two heartbeats. I didn't find out with Henry because...well," Emma wasn't sure how to put it.

"You knew you couldn't take the chance of getting attached," Killian said gently. "You wanted to give him his best chance."

"Yet he ended up with the Evil Queen," Emma shook her head.

"No one is perfect," Killian tried to comfort her. He knew how much she still struggled with her decision to give Henry up for adoption, even now that she was reunited with him.

"I should've…" Emma didn't know how to finish her sentence.

"He loves you," Killian told her. "Hmm? So do I."

"I hope so because you're stuck with me," she grabbed hold of his tie and gave it a tug.

"Is that why I had to wear one of these things," Killian smirked, "So you had an easier way to kiss me?"

"Absolutely," Emma giggled.

"All you have to do is ask nicely," he held his lips a breath away.

"Kiss me," Emma murmured.

"I don't believe I heard the magic words," he continued to tease her.

"Kiss me and tonight I will..." she leaned in and whispered in his ear.

"Music to my ears," he planted a kiss firmly on her lips.

"What do you think?" Emma held up the necklace again.

"Should we flip a coin?" he pulled out a treasure from one of his many adventures.

"Heads we try it and tails we put it away?"

"Flip away," he offered it to her.

"Okay," Emma flipped the coin and caught it, "Tails. We wait until the day he or she decides it's time to come out."

"And the necklace?"

"Goes into my purse until we get home. Then it goes into my jewelry box until Brookie wants to play dress up."

"I wonder what it would have done if you'd used it when you were pregnant with her and Austin," Killian grinned.

"It probably would've spun around in a circle," Emma giggled.

"Perhaps your parents will be in need of its service," Killian offered.

"I asked my mom, and she said she's not even sure they're married in this world."

"If I recall, it isn't a requirement to be married in this world to get pregnant," he grinned devilishly.

"If it was, you and I would be in big trouble," Emma lazily put her arms around his neck.

"We're married now," he buried his head in the crook of her neck.

"Yes, we are," Emma breathed him in. "I never would've seen this happening when we discovered you in the forest."

"It's what I've hoped for everyday I wasn't with you," he whispered.

Emma pulled back and put a hand on his face, "We're together now. You're not alone anymore and neither am I."

"I'm never letting you go...ever," he stated.

"I love you," Emma said softly. "I'm going to love you forever, Killian Jones."

"I'm going to hold you to that," he kissed her again.

"Can't you both wait for later?" Ruby found them nearly inhaling each other in the alleyway.

"Nice timing, Ruby," Emma blushed a little.

"Come on, it's time for the toasts, and David is getting antsy."

"He's not the only one," Killian whispered in his wife's ear.

"Good things come to he who waits," Emma whispered back.

Killian's groan carried them all the way to the head table where they reclaimed their seats.
