Chapter 28
Finale: On the Open Road
It was still quite dark outside as Casey walked down the familiar streets of the city, though he could still hear birds chirping and cars driving past this early in the morning. But then again, he was in New York again, not in the more serene lands of Japan; it was hardly ever quiet around here.
Casey had taken off all of his vigilante armor and his hockey mask, stuffing them alongside his weapons inside a spare bag Raphael had given him before he left the lair earlier right after breakfast. Despite himself, he needed to get home as soon as he could; he had worried his father worry about him for long enough as it is. In fact, he was beyond shocked to find out that he had over fifteen missed calls, and over twenty unanswered texts from him. He winced just thinking about it now.
He had no idea about how much trouble he was in when he got back. No doubt that he had already sent police cars scouting for him since he left, but he couldn't quite bring himself to think too much about that.
He still had a promise to keep, and whether his dad liked it or not, he was determined to keep it.
After about fifteen minutes of walking, Casey finally approached the steps of his apartment. He sucked in a deep breath and let it out again before he lifted his hand and pressed the buzzer. He waited for several seconds before he heard a cracked, tired voice answer through the machine;
"Hello?"
Casey squared his shoulders firmly, but his voice was slightly timid as he spoke into the machine. "Uh…hi dad."
The time it took for him to finish that sentence and the door suddenly unlocking was near instantaneous.
Casey gulped as he shouldered both his bags and climbed quickly up the stairs, and paused at his apartment door. He would have knocked, but before he could even lift his hand, the door flew open to reveal the robed figure of his father. The two stared at each other for what seemed like a lifetime before his father spoke, his voice sharp and very, very angry.
"Casey Arnold Jones, where the hell do you think you've been this past week, leaving only a pitiful excuse for a note on your bed?!" he yelled, "Why didn't you answer any of my calls or texts?! The police and I have been looking for you for god knows how long! Do you know how much trouble you're in young man – wha…why are you smiling at me like that?"
Casey was indeed smiling at his father, tears starting in his eyes as he dropped his bags and lunged at him, locking his arms around his waist and burying his face into his chest.
His father looked down at him in surprise. "…what's this…?" he stuttered, unable to think of anything to say.
Casey was still smiling, tightening his hold around his dad's waist.
"…do not forget them. Keep them safe…right here."
"It's nothing, dad," he murmured, closing his eyes, "I'm sorry for leaving like that. I'll tell you everything later, I promise I will. Just keep yelling at me. And I love you, okay?"
Mr. Jones could do nothing but sigh, a smile reaching his lips as he hugged his tired, slightly dirty teenaged son back with all the strength he could muster. "Okay. I love you too," he sighed.
Kyoto, Japan
"Leather Head? Are you alright, my friend?"
Startled slightly, Leather Head turned around to face the young woman stood behind him, holding a basket of food supplies in her arms. The giant mutant gator had been standing at the border of the village staring out into the distance for quite some time, staring at the moonlight above the sleeping village. Mitsu had come out to check on their 'mountain spirit' it seemed, which made him smile softly. "Do not worry about me, Mitsu. I am fine," he replied, "I was simply thinking…about what I am to do next."
Mitsu smiled back at him, approaching the mutant as he put down her basket and placed a hand over his. "Do not worry, Leather Head. The village will always need your assistance," she said, "but if you chose to return to the mountains, then I will not stop you. We will call upon you when we are in need of you the most."
To her surprise, Leather Head shook his head. "No, Mitsu. I will not be returning to the mountains again. I have learned now, that being alone for so long would turn me cold. And after what Michelangelo and his family have done for me, giving me warmth in my heart and a new reason to live, I will never isolate myself again."
Mitsu stared at the gator in silent awe, and then another smile appeared. "I understand. Those turtles and their family have done so much for our people in such a short time…" she sighed, looking back up at the full moon. "It's because of them that we can now live in peace…and it's because of Michelangelo that I can now start a new family…"
Leather Head nodded in agreement as he followed her gaze into the starry skies above. "Indeed. Their deeds shall be remembered for years to come."
The two of them sat there staring at the beauty of the moon in silence for a long time, before Mitsu started to chuckle to herself. Leather Head looked down at her and raised a brow. "What is so funny?" he asked.
Mitsu's eyes glimmered with rare mischief. "I have just remembered…Michelangelo and I had a talk, and he promised me that he would do something special when he returned to his home. I wonder if he will actually go through with it."
Leather Head grinned. "I am sure he will…"
Holding a steaming cup of tea in his hands as he walked out of the kitchen, Master Splinter sighed contentedly. It had been a few hours since Casey, April and her aunt had left the lair and headed back home, and life was once again going back to normal for his half-shelled hero sons.
Leonardo was found in front of the T.V once again, catching up on the episodes that he missed of 'Space Heroes', Raphael was reading his comic book on the other side of the pit, pretending not to watch what his older brother was watching, and Donatello, predictably enough, was in his lab with the Kraang power cell that they had used to transport themselves back home. He had said that he could use it for scientific purposes and keep it out from under the Kraang's nose…or to add it to something that he had been working on for a while, which Splinter had a good idea of what that would be.
And as for Michelangelo, he was –
Wait. Where was Michelangelo?
His furry brow rose slightly in confusion as he scanned the living room for his youngest son. He couldn't hear anything coming from his bedroom, and he had just left the kitchen, so he obviously wasn't there either…
"Boys, where is Michelangelo?" he asked, earning the attention of both Leo and Raph in the pit as they turned to him, and then to each other.
"Oh yeah, he said he had to go over to Irma's place," Raph explained, "He needed to go and get Klunk and…to tell her something important?"
Splinter's brow rose again in surprise. "Oh? What is that then?"
Raph shrugged. "Dunno. He mentioned something about what he and Mitsu 'talked about', but – "
His green eyes suddenly widened in realization as his head snapped up from his comic book. "Wait…you don't think…?" he turned to meet Leo's eyes, and they were just as wide as his own as he turned away from the T.V screen.
Leo nodded slowly. "I do think."
Before he could ask what they were talking about, Splinter was interrupted by the sound of Donnie opening his lab doors as he popped his head from out of his lab doors a second later, his eyes as wide as dinner plates. "…he's not gonna do what I think he's gonna do…is he?" he asked.
After the three brothers shared a silent look, they immediately leapt into action, grinning like giddy fools as they ran past the dumbstruck Splinter towards the turnstiles. Splinter watched them leave, and then shook his head.
"Teenagers," he sighed simply, and then headed to the dojo to meditate. No doubt that he would hear all about this later.
If she had to be honest, Irma had always thought of herself to be more of a rat person; cats were cute and everything, but there was just something about rats that intrigued her, such as how they shared similarities to humans allowing them to be used in scientific experiments and such.
Also, they were just too cute; it had taken just about everything within her power not to run up to Master Splinter, squeal like a little girl and hug him when she had first met him.
But now, however, as she played on the floor of her bedroom with Mikey's little ginger cat, Klunk (what a strange but perfectly adorable name!) she couldn't stop smiling. The little kitty was too cute to dislike, and she was just like her master; always jumping around at the first thing that caught her attention, and always, always hungry. A part of her at first had wondered when the turtles were going to come to take her back, but now she had fallen in love with her, and sort of wanted to keep her.
The sound of tapping on her window drew her out of her thoughts as she looked up from the green eyed cat ginger cat rolling along the floor. The grin that she then wore nearly split her face in half as she quickly got up and opened the window wide. "Well, well, well! Look who's finally back!" she teased.
From where he stood on the fire escape, Mikey waved at her with a freckled grin, hiding something behind his back though she remained oblivious. "Yo, Irma! Great to see you too, girl!" he greeted, swallowing the nervous lump in his throat.
God, that smile was so cute!
He looked behind her to see Klunk still rolling her furry body across the floor, and his grin broadened. "Thanks again for taking care of her, dudette! I hope she wasn't too much trouble for ya!"
Irma smiled and shook her head. "Nah, she was just fine. It took a little while to get used to her because, y'know, I'm more of a rat person and all, but she's pretty cute," she said, looking down at her bracelets on her wrists and messing with them shyly. When she looked up again, she noticed that the freckled turtle was holding something behind his shelled back, and she craned her neck in curiosity. "Say, what's that you got there, Mikey?" she asked with a slowly growing smile, "Is that for me?"
Mikey's cheeks turned red as he stepped through the window and into the room, rocking back and forth on his heels.
C'mon, Mikey, you can do this! He told himself in his thoughts, This is no big deal! Remember what you and Mitsu talked about…
Taking in a deep breath through his nose, he held out what he had hidden behind his back; a bouquet of freshly picked, flourishing red roses, tied together with a black ribbon. Irma let out a startled gasp at her present, and then looked back at Mikey, whose expression appeared to be calm, but she could see traces of sweat down the side of his face and the nervousness in his big baby blue eyes that told her that he was the complete opposite of calm.
A big smile full of gratitude took over her then as a blush coated her cheeks. "Aw, Mikey! How sweet of you!" she giggled, taking the flowers from him and sniffing them, taking in their sweet fragrance, "they're so beautiful."
Mikey grinned shyly, rubbing the back of his head. "Y-yeah, well, I had to find something to give you for taking care of Klunk for me!" he laughed, bending down and gathering the kitty into his arms, rubbing his nose against her wet one and nuzzling his cheek against her fuzzy head as she mewed, happy to see her master again.
Irma shrugged, still unable to stop smiling. "Hey, it's no big deal. That's what I'm here for, right? But now I've gotta think of a way to thank you for these flowers," she said, pushing away the thought on how he actually managed to get them in the first place as she turned to put them in a vase on her work desk.
Before Mikey could reply, he felt something hit the back of his head lightly, and he winced slightly as he turned to find the source.
It was a pebble.
He looked out the window to see who or what had thrown it, and his eyes widened when he saw none other than his older brother, Raphael, hidden behind the plant pot on the side of the fire escape, but as a ninja, Mikey could clearly spot him. He was about to shout at him in embarrassment, but then Raph mouthed something…
'Go western, go western!'
Realization dawning in his expression, he grinned widely and then turned back just as Irma finished putting the flowers away, hooking his hands in his belt in a cowboy fashion as he said as coolly as he could manage, "No thanks is necessary ma'am! Just doing like a turtle do!"
Irma smirked at his little act and folded her arms. "C'mon, don't give me that! I've gotta thank you somehow…" she put a finger to her chin as she pursed her lips in thought, and then her face lit up as an idea hit her. "How about this?"
Before Mikey could react, Irma leaned forwards and planted a sweet little kiss on the orange clad turtles' cheek.
Mikey let out a startled squeak as his eyes went wide, his cheeks turning redder than Raph's mask. In his arms, Klunk mewed happily, almost as if she was praising him. Irma stepped back and planted her hands on her hips. "Was that good enough?" she sassed.
Mikey put his hand over the cheek she had kissed, and another larger grin nearly split his face as he stared dreamily off into space. "…so…awesome…" he breathed, before an ecstatic giggle escaped his lips as he turned on shaky legs towards the window.
Now he knew how Donnie felt whenever he got kissed, and it felt great!
"I guess…I'll later see you – I-I mean I'll see you later!" he stammered, hitting his head against the window frame before finally stepping out onto the fire escape. "Uh, t-thanks again, Irma! See you later!" he quipped, and he bounced away with the cat in his arms.
Irma waved as she watched him leave, shaking her head and smiling. "Boys," she snickered. She knew that Raph was hiding behind the flower pot long before Mikey did (in fact he had even waved at her), and she knew that he was trying to play the 'wingman' for his youngest brother. She didn't think it was stupid though, in fact it was rather sweet; the big brother helping the little brother to get a girl.
Cheesy, yes, but still cute!
And as soon as Mikey was outside on the rooftops, she could hear them laughing and teasing him on his 'adorable achievement' and she shook her head again. She wondered how April could possibly put up with those rowdy ninjas.
She looked back at the beautiful roses in her vase, and she smiled.
She should pet sit for the turtles more often.
"…and then there was this giant alligator mutant that Mikey made friends with called Leather Head, who was actually from the past and got transported to the present by a Kraang machine! And then there was this huuuuge war between the guys, Splinter, Casey and even Aunt Robyn, dad! I mean, I kinda saw everything from inside whilst I was trying to stay awake after that Walker creep beat me up, but she was awesome with that spear! Who knew she could do that, I didn't know you could do that Aunt Robyn! And then there was –!"
Kirby laughed as he set both hands on her shoulders, trying to calm his hyperactive daughter down as they sat on the couch of their living room together. She and Robyn hadn't been back for more than an hour before April decided to pour out their entire adventure to him, though he lost track after the part about the giant alligator. "Easy there, April, slow down!" he chuckled, "I can't understand everything you're saying, sweetheart."
April finally allowed herself to take a breath as she blushed and shrugged shyly for getting so excited. "Sorry dad, but you really should've seen her! She was awesome, weren't you Aunt Robyn?"
Robyn laughed and shook her head, a light blush coloring her cheeks at the compliment. "I wouldn't say I was that awesome, honey. But really, you should have seen Michelangelo! Now he was awesome back there."
April nodded in agreement, still grinning. "I know, right?! I mean, not only did he have this giant gator as a partner in crime, but he was even able to figure out where to find the key to open the chest that held the diamond inside, and even Donnie admitted that he wouldn't have thought about doing that in the first place!"
She simmered down a little as she stared at the photo she had taken during the trip and framed on the coffee table, with her and her mutant family all posing dramatically with silly faces. She smiled to herself.
"I'm so proud of Mikey. In fact, I'm so proud of all of them. If it weren't for them, we'd probably still be in Norinaga's jail, or worse. I knew they cared about us…but I never thought in a million years that they would…"
"…literally cross an ocean for you?" Kirby finished, smiling as he wrapped and arm around his daughters' shoulder and drawing her close.
She smiled up at him. "Yeah. I guess that's just family for you," she sighed happily, leaning into her dad's warm shoulder.
Kirby smiled back as he then used his other arm to wrap it around Robyn and pull her closer too, which she gladly complied with a smile. But then she noticed something, and her eyes narrowed in confusion. "Kirby, what's wrong with your eyes?" she asked, "They're quite red around the edges. Have you been getting enough sleep?"
Kirby only chuckled with a shake of his head as he drew his family closer on the couch, happy to finally have two of the most precious people in his life home and safe at last. "Don't worry about me, sis," he said.
"…I'm that which is known as perfectly fine."
It was now late at night in the grand sleepless city, and underneath the bustling streets in the dark tunnels of an abandoned train station, Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo were sat on the edge of the platform, their expressions slightly bored as they waited for whatever Donatello had in store for them.
After they had come home again after Mikey's little 'thank you' to Irma (which the youngest turtle knew he would be forever teased about, even though Donnie technically did the same with April) the tech guru had gone right back into his lab to fetch the slightly altered Kraang power cell, and he had run out of the lair again, telling them that he would be bringing something back to the lair within the next few hours, and that it was going to be pretty awesome. They had thought nothing of it at first, but after he had called them up on Leo's T-Phone, telling them to meet him down the tracks further down from their lair, they decided to go and see what he was so excited about.
They would have brought April and Casey along, but Casey was grounded for the next week (though Raph knew he would still be seeing him at night no matter what, since Casey Jones follows his own rules) and April was at Irma's place, telling her friend everything that had happened on her little 'vacation', and then preparing to get back to her job as a reporter.
Looks like the work of April O'Neil and Casey Jones was never done.
From where he was sat on the edge of the tracks next to Raph, Mikey let out a long sigh. "What's taking so long?" he droned, "Donnie knows I have a short atten – ooh, gum!" his train of thought instantly switched as he found a piece of old, chewed gum on the ground, and would have bitten into it if Raph hadn't slapped the disgusting thing out of his hands before he could.
Raph let out a growl and ignored Mikey's annoyed pout as he sat back and crossed his arms over his chest. Leo rolled his eyes and sighed from his perch on the platform, letting his leg swing lazily back and forth as he pulled out his T-Phone for what felt like the billionth time. He scrolled through his unanswered text messages to Karai, and he frowned.
This was odd. What could she be doing? She hadn't been answering his calls or texts for the past few weeks…not that he was being clingy or anything, no, of course not! He was simply worried about her. Shredder was still out there somewhere, and even Karai couldn't hold out against him for long, no matter how skilled she was…besides, he was the man that trained and raised her.
What could she do against him?
"Man," Raph barked in annoyance below him, "this better be worth it."
Suddenly, they heard the sound of something rattling against the tracks, roaring as whatever it was rode closer to where they were sat. As it finally came into view, the three turtles gawked in surprise.
It was a large, converted subway car, painted from top to bottom in graffiti art equipped with what appeared to be a long, retractable top-mounted garbage cannon, a sewer lid shooter and bumper-mounted crushing jaws at the front. It screeched with effort as it came to a near dramatic halt before them as they stood with wide eyes and slacked jaws.
"Worth it," Raph said.
The doors at the side opened with a 'ding!' to reveal a smug looking Donatello as he leaned against the door. "So?" he asked expectantly.
Leo hopped off his perch and moved to stand beside a dumbstruck Raph. "I recognize this car…this was the one we slept in during the time we had to leave the lair. You turned that old subway car into this?" he asked, his expression full of surprise and pride in his younger brothers' skills.
Raph looked up at him. "Donnie, have I ever told you how awesome you are?"
Donnie grinned. "No you haven't."
"Well I am seriously considering it."
Leo smiled and shook his head, returning his attention to Donnie even as Mikey wandered around them and began to feel the new vehicle as if it were some kind of new toy. "What do you call this thing?" Leo asked.
"Well," Donnie began to explain eagerly, "It's a Transaxle, Multi-armored, Electromagnetic –"
"The Shellraiser!"
They all turned to Mikey who stood beaming proudly as he leaned against the subway car. "What?" Donnie barked in confusion.
"The Shellraiser!" Mikey repeated enthusiastically, "It's the perfect name!"
His older brothers shared a blank look. "That is the perfect name," Leo said bemused.
Mikey smirked and folded his arms across his chest. "Of course it is bro! You guys always underestimate me – oh, gum!" he cried, diving for the gum again before Raph had to wrestle him to the ground to stop him from getting it.
Leo and Donnie shared a grin. If there was anything they had come to learn over the course of their adventure back in Japan, it was to never again underestimate Mikey…except when they had to. He had really grown up since their trip, even though he still retained his childish antics. But in all honesty, the older brothers wouldn't have him any other way.
After the little match between Mikey and Raph, Donnie allowed his brothers inside to take a good look at the newly named Shellraiser, with Mikey looking around in wonder at the strange sets of gear that they found. There were four different stations for each turtle; the driver's seat, some sort of battle station, a map section and a computer set up near the very back of the vehicle, where Donnie then sat down and flipped a switch, which then flashed on a series of lights along the ground, activating all of the stations at once. They heard the engine start up with a smooth purr that had Mikey bouncing up and down in excitement.
Donnie turned to them all and bean to explain, "Now, I've assigned everyone to a station based on your individual skill sets. I can't drive because my station's in the back, so –"
"DRIVER!" the other three claimed at once, and they all raced towards the driver's seat, pushing and shoving one another in the process like a pack of quarreling kittens.
"I'm gonna drive -!"
"No way, it's –"
"What?! No -!"
"I got this, mother f-"
"It's my turn –"
Donnie slapped his Bo staff in front of them with a crack, silencing them all as he glared at them where they stood frozen in place next to the wheel. "Leo drives," he stated bluntly.
Beside them, Leo folded his arms and smirked smugly in triumph as Mikey and Raph pouted jealously. "Why?!" they both whined in unison. How come Leo always got everything?
Donnie moved out of the way so that Leo could sit at the front. "He's least likely to hit something just for fun."
Mikey and Raph shared a look. "True," they chorused simply, letting go of the situation as they moved to where they pretty much gathered their own stations were; Raph to the battle station and Mikey to the map reading area, and they all buckled in.
Leo let out a sigh of satisfaction as he held onto the wheel. "So, how do we get this baby going?" he said excitedly. On his right, a screen suddenly flashed on revealing Donnie's face as he said;
"Okay, just eeeease the throttle forward ever so slight –"
As soon as Leo touched the throttle, the entire car seemed to suddenly zoom forwards, causing the passengers to nearly fall over as it began to move down the train tracks smoothly. Raph was grinning like a fool as he barked out a "Woo!" of glee. This was so much better than riding a horse, that's for sure. "What is powering this thing?!"
Donnie still couldn't stop smiling as he gestures the glowing device behind him. "It's the Kraang power cell that we got from Leather Head," he replied.
From the front seat, Leo's eyes widened a fraction in surprise. "The power cell? I thought you said it was dangerous, like the Kraang could track it?" he asked. Now he was starting to worry. Imagine if the Kraang caught them driving around the city with their power cell…that would be one heck of a road chase.
But Donnie, being the genius he was, remained prepared and undeterred. "Yeah, I know, so that's why I put it under a led glass shield, now I can regulate the input and prevent the Kraang from detecting its signal," he stated, folding his arms confidently and nodding to himself.
Raph rolled his eyes and smirked at the smugness of his younger brother. Whenever Donnie created something he felt proud of, he would definitely show it.
Using his chair to slide next to Donnie from his station, Mikey pointed at the screen on the map, his expression slightly panicked as he said, "I hate to interrupt, but…DEAD END!"
They all looked at the screens, and just as Mikey said, they were approaching a dead end…and fast. Leo's eyes widened as he gripped the wheel tensely. "Uh, D-Donnie?! How do I stop this thing?!" he barked in panic, and what Donnie said next did nothing to ease his fear.
"Don't!"
"WHAT?!"
"Trust me!"
The Shellraiser continued to tear down the tracks, growing ever closer to the wall at the end of the tunnel. Leo, Raph and Mikey screamed and shut their eyes, waiting for the crash (seriously, what was Donnie thinking?!) but once again, the purple clad turtle was calm as he simply pressed one of the controls on his right.
Without warning, the wall before them open upwards like a garage door, and the Shellraiser flew out of it, and as it sailed into the streets, the bottom compartments of the subway car opened to reveal large tires, and the car landed on the roads and drove on the flat surface like a normal land vehicle.
The three turtles, who had been screaming for their lives only seconds ago, now looked at each other in breathless relief and undisguised glee as they tore down the roads in their new, unbelievably awesome new mode of transportation.
Raph turned to Donnie with a toothy grin. "Donnie, you're awesome!"
"Thanks for finally noticing!" Donnie beamed.
Mikey swiveled in his spinning chair as he bounced excitedly. "Dude, this so cool! Hey, does this thing have a stereo?!" he asked eagerly, turning to the wise one who created it.
"What good would this thing be without some tunes?" he quipped, pressing another button that began to play classical music.
Leo made a face, but kept his eyes on the road. Mikey quirked a confused brow and Raph made a disgusted sound. "Are you serious?" he droned.
Donnie chuckled, "Check out the second movement!" And at another push of the button, heavy metal music began to fill the vehicle, and they boys bobbed their heads to the beat, grinning and laughing as they drove down the busy streets of Manhattan. Leo stepped on it as the Shellraiser picked up speed, and the brothers in the back laughed as they stood up and held onto the hooks attached to the roof of the car, lifting their feet off the floor as Leo twisted the wheel, spinning the car in a wide circle in the road. The boys nearly shrieked with laughter as they held on tight, and then Leo set back on track as they continued down the road.
Leo peered behind him, watching as his brothers laughed and cheered together. Now this was how it was supposed to be; the four of them, having fun in the times they had together, with their father and the friends that they had made, be they nearby or far off in other lands.
Together, they had been able to change lives for the better, bring hope and happiness to those who were in need, and that in turn brought them happiness as well.
Michelangelo had been able to heal Leather Head's old wounds, though not completely, but enough for him to carry on with a new life of peace and love, in a village where everyone accepted him. And in return, the young turtle himself had been able to gain a new companion that he would love and remember forever.
Donatello had been able to give his older brother that extra drive to get up and keep trying, even when everything had seemed hopeless, and in turn, he had regained his own self-confidence, believing that he was no longer simply a useless tag-along to his brothers and the friends he cared about oh so deeply.
Raphael gave the little boy, Yoshi, who had lost both his parents and his grandfather to an unfortunate fate, the chance to smile and play and hope again, even when it seemed as though there was none. And Yoshi, too, had given Raph the chance to feel like a child again, to laugh and forget his anger and his fears. The hole that Spike had left behind was not fully closed yet, but thanks to Yoshi, the healing process had finally begun.
And for Leonardo? Well, watching his entire family, the only one had in this whole strange world they lived in, grow and heal in their own ways was enough for him to push through all the odds that they faced, and the ones that they would continue to face in the near future.
He knew now, more than ever before, that whatever challenges came their way, he and his family would be ready to face them head on without hesitation, as a strong team.
And always as brothers.
"Yo dudes!" Mikey crowed in the back seat, "You know what it's time for?!"
Their faces broke out into grins, and they all shared a single nod before raising their voices loud and clear;
"GOD WE LOVE BEING TURTLES! BOOYAKASHAAAAA!" they hollered.
And with that, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sped down the on the open roads of the city of New York, riding in search for their next big adventure.
Together.
