Olivia knocked on Elliot's office door the next morning, finding him at his desk reading the newspaper in his pajamas. "El, can I talk to you?"
"This doesn't sound good." Elliot stated before she walked over to him and sat on the edge of his desk. "What's wrong? I'm sorry about last night, but the kids needed us-"
"No, it's not about that. El, I literally dragged you to the car. I wanted to get home too." Olivia sighed sitting down in his lap. "Last night, when you came to bed, you said the police were looking for Kathy. I thought the police arrested her last night."
Elliot nodded his head once. "Yeah, so."
Olivia's eyes widened. "Elliot, what's going on?"
"Well, Kathy... she... sort of... broke out of the cop car when it was driving down the road. She rolled down the road and disappeared into an alley." Elliot explained rubbing his hands down his face. Olivia's jaw dropped as she stood up. "Look, they are looking for her. Katie is safe with us. Kathy isn't going to get to her."
"El, she is trying to take our baby!" Olivia whined before he stood up and wrapped his arms around her. She buried her face in his chest and tried to relax, but knowing Kathy was out there wasn't helping.
Elliot kissed her head. "The police are doing everything they can. I didn't want to make a big deal of it last night because of the kids. Katie would have a panic attack. She hasn't had once for a long time."
Olivia nodded her head once. "I know. She scared the crap out of me with her last one." She looked up into his eyes and smiled lightly. "She called me Mommy last night."
Elliot grinned and dropped his forehead to hers, gently pressing his lips against hers. "I was wondering when you were going to mention that."
"Mommy?" A voice called from the other room, both of them knowing it was Katie.
Olivia walked out of the office with Elliot behind her. "Katie, sweetie, what do you need?" She asked walking into the living room where Katie was standing with a stuffed animal in her hands.
"I'm scared." Katie pouted, tears forming in her big blue eyes.
"Kathy won't get to you, baby." Olivia said picking her up and letting her rest against her hip. Katie cuddled into Olivia, her head resting in the crook of her neck. "Daddy and I won't let anything happen to you. We promise."
"Yeah, we love you more than anything." Elliot smiled tapping her nose with his finger. Katie smiled at him before sighing contently. He looked back at Olivia's brown eyes before kissing her forehead. "We'll talk more about this later."
Elliot nodded listening to the police officer on the other end of the line. "Yeah, thank you, Detective... I'll do that." He smiled before hanging up his phone. He looked up at Olivia and John standing in the doorway. "The police found Kathy. She just confessed. They are discussing plea bargains as we speak."
"Thank God!" Olivia breathed putting her hands over her chest.
"That means no court, right?" John asked looking at Elliot with hopeful eyes.
"Yes, John, no court." Elliot grinned before watching John throw his duster up in the air and dance out of the room. Olivia and Elliot chuckled at him as he danced his way down the hallway towards the kitchen.
Olivia turned to Elliot again and clasped her hands behind her back, looking up at him with her big brown eyes. "You look very relaxed." She observed searching his eyes. His blue eyes were shining the way they did the night before when they were on their date.
Elliot smiled and placed his hands on her hips. "Maybe, that's because I am very relaxed." He slowly kissed her and moaned softly when her hands ran up his arms and stopped at his shoulders. "So, last night, we were abruptly interrupted from going to finish our date in that hotel room." Olivia smirked at him. "And, I was very much looking forward to that part of our date."
"Well, maybe our next date will end better." Olivia grinned before kissing him again, cupping his face in her hands. "I'd love to pick up where we left off, but I have to do something this afternoon that is disgusting and I don't know if I'll be able to stop once we start."
"Okay, now I'm extremely turned on and I'm curious as to what you have to do this afternoon." Elliot said furrowing his eyebrows.
Olivia chuckled. "It's going to turn you off." He rolled his eyes and jutted his chin at her, silently telling her to tell him anyway. "Okay... I have to go with my mother to a weight loss program so she can take the samples for her dinner tonight."
Elliot smiled. "All you had to say was your mother." Olivia laughed and dropped her head back before kissing his chest. "Don't turn me on again."
"Alright, alright, I'll let you work." Olivia smiled walking out of his office. She stopped when Alex ran into her by accident. "Whoa, sorry Ms. Cabot. I didn't see you there."
"Of course, you didn't. You were probably wrapping Elliot further around your little finger. You know, Ms. Benson, sooner or later he is going to leave you. Elliot is not one to settle down." Alex said crossing her arms over her chest.
Olivia did the same, a smirk forming on her face. "Really? The man that has been married, has three kids, a career that has lasted for the past ten years, and has chosen scripts from only five different writers in the past ten years isn't one to settle down?"
Alex paused and shook her head. "No, if Elliot is going to stay in one place, he needs someone who can keep him grounded. He doesn't need some girl from Flushing who has never been part of the life he is apart of."
Olivia nodded once. "So, you mean someone who has been part of his life, like you?"
"Yes." Alex smiled straightening out her jacket. She played with her hair for a moment.
"Yeah, good luck with that. Once you have Benson, you never go back." Olivia smirked before walking off.
John walked up to Alex and saw her glaring at Olivia's back. "You know, if you keep that face for long enough, it will stay that way, so... keep making it."
Alex glared at him before straightening herself out again. "Says the man who's expression is covered by sunglasses."
"Says the man who wears a dress." John smirked, making Alex scowl at him. "You'll never top me, baby."
