Gosh, these chapters.. I can't seem to stop writing, and they end up being incredibly long. I think the following will be shorter. Although, it was needed to describe some things about Barcelona, and I apologize if there is any lacking in the descriptions, but I recommend searching it up if you're curious :)

Sorry for any mistakes, they're all mine.

Thank you to everybody that reads. 'I don't own skins' and all that - but let's just move on to the story, yeah?

Chapter 28: Barcelona

Emily PoV

Naomi was sitting beside me on the plane engrossed in the plane magazine. I was sat in the window seat and Naomi in the middle one, the seat beside her luckily vacated. The magazine was spread out on her lap as she was sitting with one foot under the other, and she used her left hand to turn the pages. Her right hand was securely clasped in mine in my lap. It didn't matter if I held it or not, it would without a doubt stay there for the rest of the trip. And the reason for it decided to stop by right now.

"Hey, everything alright here?" The male flight attendant asked as he leaned over the seats. He was a cute boy, short black hair and almost black eyes. Naomi looked up from the story to scowl at him, squeezing my hand tight to not snap his head off.

"Perfectly fine, thanks." she smiles tightly at him, glaring until he goes away. He gives me a quick look before doing so. She sighs heavily and shift her focus back to the story.

I leaned my head on her shoulder, peering down on what she was so absorbed in. I rolled my eyes when I read the title but also smiled fondly. I loved that she was so engaged in unfairness and environmental issues. She was reading what looked like at least a six page article about how ship wrecks could save the eco-system in the sea. I shifted my eyes from the paper to her face, seeing that she was chewing on her lip and looking a bit tense.

"You okay?" I asked quietly.

She turned her head to me, her face softening at once. She gave me a gentle smile.

"Yeah." she answered, kissing my temple and going back to reading.

We were on our two hour flight from London to Barcelona - finally. It had been a long day. A long week for that matter.

We finally made up on monday, like for real. It was like a huge stone had been lifted from my chest, her finally telling me that she loved me and we could move on from that. I hope we had moved on from the shit we'd been dealing with and was now going steady. I think we were. It felt more secured than before, like we were closer.

And it wasn't just in my bones I felt it. I saw it too. The two days I worked at the store this week, she always came around when I was on a break. One of those times when I was just exiting the storage, I found her standing in front of the register with what looked like my furious mum. I asked if everything was alright, and she said that she was just saying 'how beautiful Jenna looks today.' I nearly lost it then, feeling the laughter bubbling up my throat, but thankfully managed to hold it in. I dragged Naomi off before she could push more of my mums buttons. But inside, I was overly glad that she wasn't afraid to stand up to my mum.

Me and my mum was still on a stony patch. She hadn't furtherly acknowledged my sexuality despite my viral announcement, but kept acting like everything was fine, even addressing topics like boyfriends and a future job in the store. As you could understand I was frustrated with the situation, but I didn't want a bigger fallout than it was. Naomi kept telling me to give it time, so that was what I was doing. While spending time with her. Lots of time.

Her birthday present was this trip, but her actual birthday was on wednesday, and that called for her bed, a can of whipped cream and strawberries. Neither managed to 'nick some champagne, but it was perfect without it. I sneaked into her room quietly after work and decorated my naked body with the cream and had the strawberries in a bowl on the side. When she entered the room fifteen minutes later, her eyes bulged out of her eyes and she quickly shut the door before yelling 'Eff, I kind of have a situation here. See you tomorrow, yeah?' before throwing herself at me. That was one afternoon to remember for a long time.

I didn't have much time for planning the weekend getaway since I was working, but Naomi assured me that she would arrange everything. She had after all been in Barcelona before.

So when Gina drove us and two packed suitcases to the ferry on Vader early this morning, I was giddy of what was in store. But the giddiness sadly didn't last long. What sucks about that ferry, is that it takes an hour to the mainland - fucking useless spare time. And what was added unluckiness this day, was that when me and Naomi had snuggled into a corner in the upper salon in hopes to be alone, we got an intruder. Or four.

The thing about the campaign to get people to move out to the islands, was that it attracted loads and loads of parents of young children, which in itself was great. But mothers not turned thirty yet and mother to a couple of kids, well, some of them tended to be self declared all-knowing and all-seeing creatures of wonder. And unfortunately not in an Effy-way.

She sat opposite us from where we were tiredly trying to get some peace due to the early hour, stringing along her three wild children. A young mum from Vader, just fucking typical. Straight away she started speaking about how great it were that we dared to come official with our relationship, and how much it meant for the villages, and how proud she were and what she and her friends had talked about regarding us. I tried to follow her, smiling and being polite. Naomi too, at the beginning, but when the kids never sat still and made a lot of noise, she started zoning out from the bizarre conversation. I could tell by the wide eyed looks she gave me as she squeezed my thigh under the table. But I understood her completely. These insisting young mothers around the islands was not something I wanted to spend an hour on. It was enough when they came picking up their children in the kindergarden. I couldn't wait to get alone time with Naomi.

Luckily she didn't take the express boat along with us down the east coast. The ride was really cozy, almost none waves on the sea, and we finally got some peace. Naomi fell asleep after playing candy crush on her iPad for ten minutes, and I happily cuddled into her warm side. The boat ride took about three hours, and when we got to Hull, we had to hurry to the train station so we managed to catch the plane from London. Luckily we did since I had been in the city before and was a bit familiar with it. The train again took nearly three hours, and we used it on looking out the window, she circling me from behind. And we used it on eating all the shit food we bought at the station and to play yatzy on her iPad. She won all the time, but I took too great of a pleasure in seeing her eyes light up every time to even bother to be grumpy about it. And the last hour she talked about the douchebag that took her and her mum to Barcelona the last time, two years ago. I couldn't wait to see everything she described.

When we finally arrived on the airport, we had to wait around for an hour after checking in our luggage. And we used it wisely, of course. We went around the souvenir shops and looked at all the crazy and useless shit people bought from Britain. It was also heaven to walk around holding hands with the girl you love and at the same time know that no one around you know who you are. I was excitable and in love, and going around joking with Naomi was pure bliss.

Then we finally boarded the plane which lead us to here, me shamelessly checking out my girlfriend, and how beautiful she looked with some blonde locks of hair hanging down in front of her face. Her fingers on her left hand kept stroking her lips as I could see her eyes reading line for line. Her lips looked so kissable.

"Naoms." I husked, gaining her attention.

She sighed, but not exasperated, just like she was just brought out of the words of the article. She turned her head and gave me all her attention, sinking a bit down in her seat. The dark rings encircled the sky blue of her eyes so perfectly that it almost made me combust.

"You know…" I drew out, leaning in to kiss right under her ear, feeling her take a sharp intake of breath. "We have a chance of joining the mile high club." I murmured directly into her ear, before going back to lightly kissing her neck. A quiet moan escaped her as her hand tightened on my thigh.

"Ems, no." she protested half heartedly.

"Why, you lost your sense of adventure?" I asked, moving up to kiss her jaw, not caring if anyone around saw us. She maneuvered to kiss me on the lips, before drawing back and holding my face in her hands. She looked at me with a tender expression, making my tummy flutter, and definitely spurring on the ideas in my head.

"First of all, you're the one with the sense of adventure out of us." she smirked, obviously remembering back. "and it's not that I'm all against it, but I won't do it with that sleaze of a guy hanging around. I wouldn't give him something more to drool about."

"Oh come on, he doesn't matter." I pout.

"I don't care, he keeps eyeing you as a piece of meat, and it's just this close" she holds up her thumb and pointy finger to show how small "before he gets the same treatment as Karen."

"It's just some innocent flirting, I don't mind. And maybe it would give him the right impression hearing what I'm about to do to you in the bathroom…" I purr, leaning in to meet her lips again.

"Of course you wouldn't mind! 'You want some more soda, it's on me,', 'That's a very beautiful necklace. But of course the woman wearing it is more beautiful.' and 'Is everything okay here? You need a blanket, or one more pillow? Or maybe some refreshments? Want to hear the recommendations? And also, suck my dick.'" she imitated. I laughed.

"Naomi!" I exclaimed, my voice breaking a bit at being so high pitched, "that last part never happened, and also, doesn't mean he wants to shag me."

"You clearly haven't watched him then." she shrugged, opening her magazine again.

I sighed loudly, and turned to look out of the window. Miles and miles of french meadow. The sun was nearly starting to go down. I felt Naomi move beside me, before her hand inched its way to the inside of my thigh.

"Hi," she coaxed softly. She laid her head on my shoulder, and I felt her take a big sniff of my hair, resulting in my mouth twitching of her sweetness. "We'll join that club on our way back, okay? It's just a bit disturbing with him hanging around being a wanker. Throws me off my game. It's really rude, considering how obvious it is that we're together."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." I smiled.

"And it's not like it's ages since we shagged." she smirked, tilting back a bit. "I think it was just this morning you called out my name breathlessly." she said smugly, making me slightly blush.

"Shut up." I bit my lip, and leaned in to kiss her devotedly. A clearing of a throat from behind Naomi broke us apart a second later. Naomi turned around with a scowl on her face again.

"Yeah?" she asked angrily.

"Just wondering if you wanted to see the duty-free magazine." he said politely, eyes shifting to me, who was half trying to hide behind Naomi's shoulder.

"No thanks." Naomi said curtly, glaring at him until he walked away again. "Tosser." she said under her breath as he had gone, making me lightly giggle. She went back to reading the article, and I went back to watching her do so.

When we landed on the airport in Barcelona I sat plastered up against the window, watching the palms fly by. Naomi leaned over me to get a good look, and also to laugh at how excited I was. But who could blame me? I hadn't been vacationing in many places, my family usually just went to France. Hence the thrill.

"You'll love the city, I promise." Naomi whispered in my ear.

After the fairly bumpy landing, me and Naomi gathered our small traveling bags and exited the plane. The guy who apparently had been eyeing me the whole ride stood by the exit, smiling greatly at me. Naomi saved me from him by walking between us with a sneer towards him, her hand safely placed on my lower back. I thought it was cute that she was so jealous. I knew she trusted me and that she was just reacting to the obvious flirting from him, but it was amusing as hell.

Me and my blonde ball of fury got through to the baggage collect, retrieved our suitcases and walked out of the airport to haul a taxi. She said that she wanted to take the buss, but relented when she realized we'd had to walk for a long time with our suitcases to get to the hotel. So she had to step back on the eco-friendly attitude if only for one night.

When we finally flagged down a cab and got in, she had luckily calmed down from the muttering of bad words about the flight attendant. We sat in the back seat holding hands and watching the scenery fly us by. It was everything from poor neighborhoods to tall skyscrapers. It was such a contrast.

And it was warm. Too warm for the casual attire I chose to travel in, so I couldn't wait to change. I was positive that it was nearly thirty degrees outside, even though the sun was almost down.

After about half an hour with driving into the more and more cramped streets, we arrived in front of where we were going to live. I had seen some interesting buildings and such on the way, but they went by so fast that I didn't really get a satisfactory look at them. I figured Naomi would show me the best of the city either way.

The cab driver helped us with the baggage and smiled politely, resulting in Naomi giving him extra tip and waving him off with a carefree look on her face.

We dragged our suitcases into the lobby, going to the front desk.

"Hey, reservations for Campbell." Naomi said.

"Right, just a second." The small woman with round glasses answered, clicking around on the computer. Suddenly she looked up with scrunched eyebrows.

"It says it's for ms Campbell and mr McFoenaigh?" she looked between me and Naomi.

"Right, I'm ms Campbell." Naomi nodded. The lady still looked confused at me, before Naomi tentatively took my hand in hers. "Uh, there's been a slight change of plans." she smiled shyly. The lady finally seemed to accept that before asking for our passports.

When we were done and had received the room key, we took the elevator up to the third floor.

"That woman so thought you were cheating on your boyfriend with me! Or at least that you dumped him for me." I giggled, while leaning on the elevator wall.

"Whatever," Naomi shrugged, "plus she pointed out how I've just turned eighteen like three times, and that she hoped we didn't cause any trouble." she shrugged again. "Since she thinks young people are so rebellious, she should understand how often young people change mates."

"I fucking hope that's not how you see it. Changing mates often." I joked back.

"Oh, it is. Really, by tonight I will have some spanish wonder in my bed, and you'd be out on the cold street." she smirked, and started moving towards our room number, 307.

"Fine by me, since I had planned on catching myself a fit and tanned goddess anyway." I played along, walking behind her. She turned and looked at me with a mock scowl, before putting the card in the door.

"Watch it, or I'll shut you out of the room." she teased, and tried to close the door in my face as she'd got inside. I screeched and put my foot in the way, making her giggle at my swift movements. She relented and dragged me inside by my wrist, giving me a affectionate peck on the lips. Then we broke apart to take in the room.

"It's big." I commented, taking my suitcase to the other side of the room. "And cozy." I looked back at her. She was still by the door, taking in the room. Then she nodded to herself.

"I approve." she concluded, before catching my amused stare. "I mean, we can spice it up to be our loveshack, yeah?" she said sweetly.

"Yeah." I smiled before opening my suitcase to find something to change into. Suddenly Naomi called my name from the bathroom.

"What is it?" I poked my head in, summer dress half on.

"We have a bathtub." she grinned, turning around to face me. There, right behind her was a white and clean bathtub. Not too big, but definitely with room for two. "And we have a sexy lady in our room." she eyed me up and down.

"Shut up, you." I swatted her stomach, before going back out to freshen up. "What's the plan anyway?" I asked as I sat in front of the mirror.

I secretly hoped that she didn't have an entire night of partying planned out for us, because, to be completely honest, I was knackered. We'd been traveling for most of the day, and I hadn't gotten much rest in a while due to working and stuff turning up all the time. But if she did have something crazy planned out, I would join it either way, because I was not about to take the role as the party pooper girlfriend. We were after all on a holiday. Our first holiday. I wouldn't do anything to ruin it for the world.

"Well, if I know you eating cycle, I think we need to go out and get some proper food." Naomi yelled from the bathroom, where she was changing.

"Cheeky!" I yelled back, but then added "But yeah, that would be nice." I smiled to my own reflection, finding the make up alright, and then packing down my make up bag.

"Thought so." Naomi quipped back, and came out of the bathroom dressed in short denim pants and a black t-shirt with some band name on it. She had fluffed up her hair and added eye liner.

"Wow, is that a new style?" I asked, walking up to her. But it didn't disappoint me, I think I could find her attractive in almost anything.

"Yeah, just for tonight. Don't feel too girly."

"Any reasons?" I took her hand as we made our way out of the room and downstairs.

"Not really, but we've been traveling all day, so this is what I feel comfortable in." she shrugged.

"Fair enough." I smiled and squeezed her hand. "You look good by the way."

"Thanks, Em. You look incredibly shagable."

I giggled. "That's not a very gentleman-y compliment, Naoms."

"Yeah, well. I don't have the right anatomy to be gentleman, so I declare it okay."

"And because of that 'lack' in anatomy I wouldn't mind you taking me back to the room to show me how shagable I am." I smirked as we passed the front desk, the woman behind it staring at us with a weird expression. Naomi laughed out loud.

"Tone it down, will ya Em, or else all of Barcelona will know what we do behind closed doors." I giggled as I enveloped her hand in both of mine and walked close into her body. "And no, I won't do that before I have wined and dined you."

"So where are we going for that snack anyway?" I asked as we stood out on the street. I looked up and noticed how high the buildings were.

"Well, La Rambla is that way. Not too long of a walk really, we live pretty close to it." She pointed to the end of the street, "but I want you to see it for the first time in broad daylight, 'cause it can be a bit unpleasant at night. So I suggest we just look for a cozy corner restaurant the other way." We turned and looked the other way.

"Sounds good to me." I said, knowing that we wouldn't get lost with the mini map we had in Naomi's small bag.

But forty five minutes later I was tired of walking and have Naomi turn down every single place. The oozing smell of dinner in the streets didn't make my stomach happier. I had even let go of her hand to cross mine to let her know how tired I was of her problems with either the sanitary or where the food came from.

When she had yet again walked past somewhere called 'KEBABS' on a big green sign, I stopped and felt myself nearly exploding.

"Fucking hell Naomi, I've had enough. We're eating here." My backbone made a rash intrusion. She turned around from a little before me, and raised her eyebrows.

"Ems, they have big pieces of meat hanging from the ceiling. It hardly looks tasteful, does it?"

"I don't care. And do you know what? You don't know where all the food in the store at home is from either, but you eat it! And also, we should support small businesses like this one. You're the one against multi corporation and that shit, right?" I barked, feeling confident that I would win this and get my food soon.

"I guess…" she mumbled, looking at me with big eyes.

"Whatever, I'm eating here." I shake my head at her and enter the shop.

"Wait!" I hear her call after me, and I roll my eyes, certain that she's about to drag me away again as her hand slides into mine, but she just smiles down at me. "What do you want, then?" she asks, gesturing to the menu on the wall. I look at her stunned for a second, before peering at the options.

"Naoms, I don't know what any of that is. It's in spanish."

"Well, there are mostly different types of kebabs with different types of meat. You want pork, chicken or beef?"

"Beef."

Then she said something in spanish to the two big men behind the counter. I looked at Naomi with an open mouth. I never knew she could speak spanish. One of the guys asked her some more questions as the other started to cut down from one of the big pieces of meat who was swiveling on a stick. I looked around, realizing that it did look kind of tasteless here, certainly wouldn't have been my first choice. But hell, I couldn't wait anymore, this would do. I snapped back as they placed two boxes of fanta in front of us. Naomi payed them with the money we had taken out at the airport and grabbed the sodas and walked further into the building, through some strings with pearls hanging from the upper door trim. I walked closely behind her.

We came into a dimmed room with a small aquarium built into the wall with running water. The walls were dark, and there was some glowing red lights about. There were three other men sitting on a table, drinking some beers. There was some kind of small stage in one corner, but it didn't look like it was used much. It was some weird indian inspired music playing, and I noticed some religious pictures on the wall.

"Well, this is a weird atmosphere." Naomi commented as she settled with one of the tables, placing her bag on top of it.

"Is there any other hidden talents you have?" I asked as I joined her.

"Oh, you'll be surprised." she smirked.

One of the men came and placed a miniature basket with tableware and napkins in. I said Gracias to him, about the only word I knew in spanish.

"But seriously though, have you studied spanish?" I asked.

"Yeah, had it last year. But I guess I know a bit more than what is expected after a year." she shrugged.

"Is that a modest way of saying you were top of the class?" I smiled.

"Yeah." one side of her mouth twisted up into that sexy smile that made me go all weak everywhere.

Before I could answer, the same guy came back with the food. Mine didn't look a kebab at all, it was more like pita bread filled with what looked like a mixture of different salads and vegetables, meat and some white dressing kind of thing. I eyed it suspiciously.

"What did you order?" I asked as I moved my eyes over to what was in her basket. (Yes, the food was served in baskets.)

"Just a vegan one, they didn't have much to choose from."

"Sorry, we should've gone somewhere else, I was just so hungry."

"Don't be sorry," she placed one hand over mine, "I know I can get off the rails on these ramblings I have, and you were completely right outside in everything you said. So just eat up, will you?" she ended with an amused smile.

"Okay." I stroked her hand with my fingers for a second, before the hunger made me dig into the kebab thingy.

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed after the first bite, I didn't even swallow.

"What?" Naomi looked at my wide eyed expression with a mildly amused one.

"This is delicious!" I proclaimed, taking another bite. Naomi giggled cutely before taking a bite of her own. A low moan escaped her as she closed her eyes to enjoy the taste. I couldn't help but stare at her and appreciate that sound.

"You're right." she said as she opened her eyes again, looking into her food. "What is this dressing? It have to be sent from God or something."

"I don't know, but it's certainly the best meal I've had in a while. We should go into random shops more often!" I laughed and munched on.

We were done with out food rather quickly, and I patted my stomach feeling full, happy and tired. But I didn't want to kill the night just yet.

"So what is the plan now?" I asked Naomi, "Do we go clubbing, oor..?"

"Ems." She looked at me doubtfully.

"What?" I asked.

"You don't have to pretend with me." she said sympathetically.

"I'm not." I said defensively, wondering if she worked herself into my head.

"I can see that you're exhausted. I can see it in your eyes. And I'd known even if I couldn't. God Emily, you've been working all summer every day almost without a break. You don't have to be on top around me all the time, I don't want you to be. And we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow, so I say that we go back to the hotel."

"But…" my eyes flickered between her caring ones, "I don't want to spoil anything. We'll do whatever you want to."

"You're not spoiling anything, and the only thing I want right now is a quiet moment with you without annoying mums, flight attendants or roar of any engine. Okay?" she smiled, reaching over to stroke my hand. And there, in the soft glow of the candles in the weirdest place I've ever eaten, I think I fell a bit more in love with her.

"Okay." I whispered. At that, she took my hand and guided me out of the shop, saying adios to the men at the same time.

"Do you know the way back?" I asked when we got out on the pavement. We'd gone a bit zig zag while searching for food.

"Sure I do." she said confidently, walking down a street I couldn't remember. But I trusted her to get us back, and she did. Of course she did.

"So Ems, what do you say about testing out that bathtub." Naomi smiled adoringly at me as we got into the elevator. I couldn't do anything but smile and nod back, leaning into her.

She kissed me passionately once the door to our room was closed behind us, and then guided us into the bathroom.

"I've been wanting to take off that dress since you put it on." she murmured before turning around and starting to run the bath. She found some salt and stuff to put in, to make it froth. When she finally turned back to me, I had already stepped out of all my clothes.

"You're rude, I just said I wanted to do that." she said with a big offended grin, but didn't add anything to it as she quickly, but very ungracefully and clumsy, removed all of her clothes too. I giggled as I watched her, gripping her waist when she was done to lean up and kiss her.

The bath was soon ready, and she carefully stepped into it first, sitting down and making herself comfortable. I stepped in after, a welcoming warmness from the water. I sat down and she immediately grabbed me to glue my back into her front. The water felt a little hot at first, but it soon turned into a pleasant temperature making me want to purr.

"Water's okay?" Naomi whispered in my ear, and the way I could feel her lips on my skin made me unfit for any other answer than nodding.

My arms rested on her bended knees, and I felt my breath calming down. It had been a long day.

"You're still so tense. You gotta relax Ems." Naomi said as her delicate hands moved up and down my forearms. She enveloped me in a tight hug for a minute, before releasing me. One of her hands came up to rub the side of my neck as the other moved up and down my stomach.

"You work too much," she kissed beneath my jaw, making me gasp, "you have to take care of yourself. It's like in that commercial, you're worth it." she said humored. I laughed silently, too into the moment to ignore the delicious ripples her touch made on my skin.

She was right, I was incredibly tensed up. Stressed out about everything. It never hit me to try and loosen up.

Naomi nuzzled my neck as one of her hands started to massage my breast. I felt my breath quicken.

"Relax." She whispered in my ear again. "Or I'll stop." Then she did actually stop, and I felt more frustrated by that.

"No, please continue." I begged, feeling her smirk against my neck. She moved up to my nipple again, circling it painfully slow with her fingers. Her other hand moved down to my lower belly, stroking skillfully up and down. This was a new sensual experience for me. For us.

She kissed sensuous up and down my neck, and I craned it to give her better access. My hands started to tighten around her thighs, but I was still very calm and relaxed. Then she finally moved a hand down to my clit.

I moaned gratefully, but it soon turned out to a desperate groan when I found out how slow she moved her fingers. It was so slow that I almost didn't notice what she was doing.

I took big, slow lungfuls of air as she worked her hands and lips, and my hold on her thighs fastened incredulously as she went on.

"Oh god." I moaned as I felt an earth shattering shiver run down my spine. And then the inevitable release as I couldn't hold back anymore. It was a controlled outburst with me tensing up, closing my eyes and biting my lip in an insane euphoria, before the gentle come down to Naomi's kisses.

Her hands went back to stroking up and down my belly.

"I love you" she muttered into my ear, and I felt myself grin. I maneuvered my head around to catch her lips gingerly in mine.

"I know." I whispered against her lips.

We sat there for another half an hour, just touching each other. Getting more bound to each other. Then she declared it was time for bed as I had almost drifted off twice already. She dried my body when we stood up, because I was all zombie like. After drying herself, she lead me to the bed and instructed me to lie on my stomach.

"What are you up to now?" I yawned but complied, because I had seriously no fight left in me.

"I'm giving you a massage." she announced as she sat down on my arse. If I hadn't been so out of it, I would surely be more focused on what parts of her body that was pressed down into me. I sighed appreciatively as she started to knead my sore muscles. She stroked up and down the whole of my back, not concentrating too much at one spot.

"Nai, you're so good to me." I whispered, but more to myself 'cause it was so low that I'm not sure she catched it. She leaned down and kissed in her hands wake. I had never been more at peace in my life, and therefore I didn't last long before drifting into a beautiful sleep.

I came slowly to my conscious the next morning, noticing both that I had turned to my back and that there was a warm hand splayed out on my stomach. It wasn't moving or anything, just laying there, keeping me grounded. And I could practically feel her eyes on me.

"Stop watching me." I smiled before I had even opened my eyes. She didn't answer, so I peered one open to look at her while stretching out. And surely enough, she was propped up on her elbow, watching me with a soft look.

"How long have you been staring at me?" I ask, inching closer to her. Her hand started to slide up and down over my abdomen.

"A while." she smiled softly, before leaning down to kiss me good morning. My hands found the back of her neck immediately, holding her down so I could kiss her properly. "You look so beautiful when you sleep." She said when she drew away.

"Only when I sleep?" I smirked.

"Yep, only then." she smirked back. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, I've never slept so good." I admitted, looking up into her blue eyes.

"I'm glad to hear it. Feel rested?"

"Feel incredible." I smiled, burying my face in her skin. "I don't want to leave the warmth of this bed." I mumbled. She laughed at that.

"I see, but we have a whole day of experiences ahead, and we're already late because I wanted to let you sleep."

"What?" I tilted my head back. "Do we have any appointments?"

"No, but I have a lot on my agenda."

"So no morning sex?" I pouted.

"No, but there will definitely be evening sex." she rendered.

"Fine." I huffed, "let's get moving then." and I went up to get dressed.

Twenty minutes later, we were ready to leave. I had found a cute flowery skirt, along with a plain white top. My camera was safely around my neck, ready to save the sights today for always, and my sunglasses was safely in my small bag which was slung over my shoulder. I had managed to curl my hair on the little time I had, and had pinned it on one side of my head, so it was flowing freely down the side of my neck.

Naomi had chose some small denim shorts, and a colorful watercolored top over. Her hair was up in a messy ponytail, strands of hair everywhere. A fanny pack was secured around her waist, as she insisted that was the safest. But either way, she looked gorgeous.

"I love your hair like that." She whispered in my ear as we exited the room. I swooned.

She lead me towards the La Rambla today. It was a wonderful day, the sun was shining and I could already feel it was going to be hot. The further we walked, the more people we saw. We saw fathers and sons, mothers strolling with their newborns and buddies hanging on the corner, sharing a smoke at the start of the day. I had to stop some places, because the motive was too interesting to walk by. But after doing this three times, Naomi pointed out that we had to get moving if we wanted breakfast before midday. The hotel did have a breakfast menu, but Naomi decided to make the most out of today, and she said we could eat breakfast there tomorrow. I was not one to protest.

I was smiling immensely when we finally reached La Rambla. There were trees planted on each side down the entire lane, and we were supposed to walk in the middle of it, with cars driving on each side. The buildings around were admirable and diverse. On each side of the pavement were tons of market stalls placed, selling everything between magazines, flowers and funny souvenirs.

I held Naomi's hand as we drifted down the whole of it, and no one gave us a weird look. It was heavenly, and I was so amazed by it all. God, I really needed this vacation.

Naomi was so cute, joking with me the entire time, and telling me things about the areas that she already knew. I found out she was an encyclopedia when it came to history and fun facts about this city. She also leaned down to kiss my cheek all the time. Cuteness overload. I was so in love.

When we reached further down on La Rambla, the silent statues appeared. Some of them were weird angels or adventure figures. One of them was seemingly sitting on thin air. I had to snap a photo of him.

I was looking through the gallery on my camera when Naomi grabbed my hand.

"Ems, look, it's Cristobal Colon." She pointed up on a tall, tall pillar where there was a man atop.

"You mean Christopher Columbus?"

"Yeah, they call him Colon here in Spain. They supported him, you know, on his expeditions. I thought he was a tosser, but it's a nice statue though. Wished it was of someone else, but not much you can do, eh?"

We walked towards the high monument.

"Who would you rather be up there?"

"Well, Miguel de Unamuno for example. He was a great activist against Franco amongst others. Wrote a lot of criticizing stuff. Or you know, both Dali and Picasso would've been better, even though they both probably were batshit crazy…" she chewed on her lip as she peered up on the stone man through her sunglasses. "Or they could've put up Penelope Cruz. Would certainly be a better sight to look at." she winked at me as I swatted her playfully.

She chuckled and smiled adorably at me as she took my hand and dragged me past the column towards the sea.

"Where are we going? And will we eat soon?" I asked with big eyes.

"Yeah, but Ems, let me show you …" we ran over the motor road and down to the stony dock, "port de Barcelona!"

I looked to my left and gasped. The sun reflected beautifully in the water, and there were at least a hundred sailing boats docked there. There were also big old fashioned ship laying by the promenade. Further up on land, they were building a great stage, and I couldn't help but wonder what it was for. Naomi seemed to read my mind though.

"Christina Aguilera is supposedly having a free concert here tonight. I thought we could go?" she smiled at me, eyes lighting up. I could see she was excited for it.

"Yeah." I agreed, kissing her inviting mouth before starting to move around a bit, looking for the best motives to capture.

"Hey, let's walk over these docks, yeah?" Naomi said, guiding me towards some wood made docks, going straight over to the other side of the strait. There were wave shaped iron pieces over us. My head was tilted up, watching them, as Naomi's hand suddenly shot out to stop me walking.

"They're opening the bridge for sea traffic." she said, and sure enough, the dock in front of us was lifted up in the air as a big ship drove into the harbor.

"Cool." I couldn't stop myself from mutter. After some waiting, we walked the rest of the way.

"So this is Maremagnum Mall. It's basically a shopping centre on the sea, but it also has a great cafe in the second floor with an outdoor area. I thought we could eat there, watch the boats and such?" Naomi asked.

"Sounds perfect."

We found a table near the fence and got served traditional spanish breakfast. Most of it was sweet stuff, and there was a lot of jam. Even though it was different from what I was used to, it was nice.

Naomi looked so beautiful while we sat there and watched the various boats trickle past. She looked so carefree and happy. I wondered if she always was like this while she was traveling. I wished I could use all my savings on traveling the world with her, but that meant no education. But hell, we had all the time in the world, I hoped.

When we were finished eating, we walked hand in hand towards the beach. We passed an aquarium on our way, and I almost had to restrain Naomi right there and then from setting up a protest camp. She was amusing though.

It wasn't a long walk before we was at the beginning of the beach. It was already a bit crowded further away, but we had a nice little clearing. We stepped down to the water edge, shoes in hands, and hands clasped. We waded a bit, feeling the hot mediterranean sea wash over our skin.

"If you didn't have that camera on you, I would so push you into."

"You wouldn't!" I squealed.

"Oh? Put it away and we'll find out." she smirked. I giggled and tried to run away from her, but she had a firm grip on my hand, making me swivel around to crash into her front. She held my waist, and we leaned in at the same time, sharing some heated kisses. She never seized to make my heart jump violently. My hands crept into her hair as the waves softly crashed around us. I would say it was a bit romantic, in a cliche American way.

"I love you, you know that right?" I said as we broke apart. I leaned my head against her chest, marveling in her comfort.

"'Course Em. I love you too." she answered straight away. "Let's go see La Sagrada Familia now, okay?"

We found the nearest metro station and paid for two day passes. Naomi was obviously a natural at navigating the system, so she found the route at once. We had to take two different metro trains, but it didn't take long. The smell down in the metro stations was almost suffocating. Naomi thankfully made it better by telling me the story of La Sagrada Familia on the way, though.

After we'd walked up the stairs from the underground, Naomi gestured for me to turn around. The first thing I did was gasp. Because it was so much bigger and so much beautiful than what I imagined.

"Oh and Ems," Naomi catched my attention, "you must also notice the misshapen house. It's right above us." she pointed above us. And rightly so, there was a bulky house right there. But it was elegant bulks. Like the house was flowing. It was really cool.

Naomi led us to a small park right across from the church, so I could take some shots of the whole thing. She said that we could go inside if I wanted to, but it would certainly be a bitch of a line. She had been inside before, and though it was magnificent, the best sight was outside. I was fairly certain she had more stops in her plan today, so I agreed to leave it be. We walked around it though, and I took some gorgeous pictures of her in front of it. She looked so good when she smiled.

We went down into the metro again, but she wouldn't tell me the name of the next place we were going.

"I'm certain you're going to love it." she smiled as I pouted.

"Say it." I commanded.

"We're here anyway, so you'll soon see." she smirked and grabbed my hand.

It was some steep hills to climb before we stood outside what looked like a park. Or more like … a candy land.

"What is this?" I asked puzzled.

"This is Park Güell. Made by the infamous Gaudi, who also is the guy who started building La Sagrada Familia, which I told you about. Had a busy life that man." she gestured to the work of art in architecture around us. I smiled as I looked up at the weird rooftops of the surrounding buildings. They were colorful and looked like mosaic. It was a giant lizard on the steps further up. I kind of recognized it, but I didn't know from where.

"Yeah, that's the most famous." Naomi smiled, "think I saw it one of my spanish books last year."

"Oh, now I know!" I exclaimed, even though Naomi didn't know what I was talking about. "We photoshopped a photo of it in IT!"

"Okay, maybe you can photoshop your own picture of it when we come home." She gestured to my camera. I hushed her over to stand beside it as I snapped a couple.

We walked between the many pillars and discussed how it was even possible to build like him and still do it safely. He truly was a talent. We moved up to the platform, dodging past some street vendors. I couldn't stop admire all the mosaic, and took tons and tons of pictures. Naomi led me to the end of the platform, which was encircled in a fence of mosaic which you could sit beneath. It was a breathtaking view.

We sat down with the city behind us, and I turned the camera towards us to take some pictures of us together. I smiled through the first ones, but when I felt Naomi kiss me on the cheek in one of them, I couldn't stop myself from turning and capture her lips in mine. I took a few more pictures of us kissing with the city in the background, before I got too lost and dropped the camera on my lap to frame her face with my hands.

"I think you have to send me those pictures." She smiled when we ran out of oxygen.

"I'll send you all of them." I smiled, leaning my forehead against hers. "God, is it hot here or just me?" I chuckled at I felt a droplet run down my neck.

"I actually think it's me." Naomi said smugly, making me grin. "No, it is, you're right. It's well past twelve o'clock, and that's probably the hottest part of the day. You want to go down and get a smoothie or something in the cafe with the entrance?"

"Yes please."

After enjoying ourself with some smoothies and cookies (I just had to have them) we walked down the hills again towards the metro. Like before, Naomi wouldn't tell me anything about the next stop. I looked through the pictures we took together, and found Naomi looking at me adoringly on every one. It made my heart swell, seeing the look in her eyes.

"Okay, so this next stop.. We have to walk a bit, is that alright with you?"

"Sure." I smiled.

Our hands fitted perfectly as we walked down the quiet streets in the sun. She kept stroking me with the pad of her thumb, and I felt so cared for.

Soon I spotted our destination and I almost ran towards it in excitement.

"You're taking me to the stadium?" I grinned at Naomi, almost wanting to cry of it all. Did I say I was a sucker for football? Well, I am. And greatly so.

"Seems like the case." Naomi smiled satisfied of my reaction.

"Are we going inside?" I asked, the happiness evident in my voice.

"If you want to." which I quickly nodded to. "Great then." We continued the rest of the remaining walk. I thought how cute of Naomi it was to put it into our schedule, knowing how she had no interest in football.

"You're kind of amazing, you know, doing this." I smiled at her. She smiled bashfully, sun reflecting in her sunglasses.

"I actually wanted us to go to a match, because it is one of the greatest stadiums in the world. But sadly there weren't any this weekend. Thought visiting the stadium would be nice to do however."

I stopped in my tracks, making her stop.

"What?" she looked at me alarmed.

"You wanted to take me to a match?" My eyes sparkled.

"Yeeah?"

That was it, I practically jumped on her, crashing our lips together. I tried to convey how grateful I was to her through every kiss, and by the way she was giggling between the pecks, I think it was working.

"I love you Naomi Campbell, and greatly so."

"Love you too Fitchy, now let's go see some grass pads."

We went inside the shop, were I just had to buy myself a Messi t-shirt. I even had to give a little fuck to my saving plan to buy t-shirts to dad and James too. I knew they would appreciate it. Maybe dad would appreciate it so much that he agreed to support me for university despite of my mum.

We looked at the museum and the crazy amount of pokals. Then we went into the stadium, and fuck me if it didn't take my breath away. I just stood dazed for several minutes looking out over the massive space. Even though all of the lights weren't on because obviously it wasn't match day, it was a sight. I couldn't even imagine going on a match here. But then again, I had never been on a big stadium like this. Dad had always talked about going to Anfield, but it never happened. And here was my first experience. With my love. I looked at Naomi and found her just as stunned as me. Things like this, stadiums and such, it doesn't matter if you're a fan of football or not. I knew she would've loved it if we went to a match.

After quite a time inside the stadium and a lot of pictures, we had to move on. I hoped to come back one day.

"We're here!" she announced excitedly, taking my hand out of the train and onto the platform. As always, the air was dusty and there was quite a few people here. She lead me up the stairs, and once we emerged to the surface, I looked straight on two gigantic towers on each side of the road a bit in front of me. And when I looked in between them, I could see some sort of palace towards the mountain side. It was really beautiful.

When I expanded my sight, I saw that we were on a big open space, like a traffic centrum or something. It was a big ass fountain in the middle of everything with some sculptures on it. Everything was really big around me, and I felt more petite than I had before.

"This is Placa Espanya, got built because of a world exhibition in the twenties. It's quite impressive." Naomi informed.

"I'll say." I said while looking around, discovering something new all the time.

"This building is new, though." She turned me which made me look at a huge red, round building. "It's a shopping centre, and the last time I was here it was the opening week of it. It's a nice view on the top of it. We could go up if you want to, but that would delay our plans a bit."

"No Naoms, I'm on your schedule. I trust you to show me the best of the city." I leaned up to kiss her cheek. She smiled.

"Alright then. Those towers that you see over there are Venetian towers, built to look alike those in Venezia. The locals call it the gate to the mountains."

"What is it about those fishnet thingys that is around them at the top?"

"It's to prevent suiciders."

"What?" I looked at her.

"Don't be so shocked, it's a known fact that people kill themselves on known, tall places. Like the Eiffel tower. Anyway, you see that palace-like thing in the distance?"

"Yeah?"

"That's the national art museum."

"Wow, what a museum." I glanced at it, thinking that it was definitely the nicest I'd seen.

"Yeah, let's take a walk towards it."

"Okay. Hey how many stops do we have left? The sun is starting to hang dangerously low in the sky." And also I was a bit hungry. Like always.

"Don't worry, there's only two. And the next one is just for the sake of doing it." She winked at me.

We walked past the beautiful palace slash museum and up the hill behind it. Luckily Naomi had ordered me to wear good shoes.

Soon, what looks like a big formal building shows up. I don't think much of it, my first guess being it was an embassy or something. But my curiosity was picked when Naomi dragged us towards the entrance. I wasn't expecting another gigantic stadium coming into sight.

"It's the olympic stadium. Not very exciting, but it is after all something you should see when you're in town. Oh, and they sell hot dogs in the newsstand over there." Naomi pointed to my left, and I almost blushed at how well she knew me.

I bought two for myself, and she bought a chocolate for energy. We sat on some benches behind a fence, not being allowed to go down and sit on the actual seats of the stadium. There were some stray cats rolling around in the sun, and of course Naomi lured one of them to us.

"Careful Naoms, it may be sick or something." I warned, not really wanting her to catch something. Mum always told us such things. Naomi simply shrugged.

"It looks fine Ems, and also if it were sick going around spreading it to the visitors, they would probably chase them away." she gave me an easy smile, petting the cats head. I wondered if she was missing Tiger, and realized that she probably was. She was a big softie under her well made exterior.

"You're adorable, aren't you?" I teased.

She retracted her hand from the cat and scowled at me.

"Am not, I'm thug." she said indignantly. I giggled.

"Did you just say 'thug'? That's so cute!"

"Stop calling me things like that!" she exclaimed.

"Fine fine," I moved closer to her on the bench. "You're also strong and hard-nosed. You make my small lady-parts twitch." She moaned at the last words.

"Ems, you can't say things like that when I can't jump you." she pouted. I smiled and kissed the side of her mouth lightly.

"Let's get moving, yeah?" I said to change the conversation before she actually did jump me in public. By the look on her face, she was close to it.

"Yes, okay, so we're going to walk to the next attraction too." she informed and we began our small hike.

Soon we turned off the road, but I was so absorbed in a tale she was telling of this book she had read that I didn't see where we were at first. But then I suddenly did as Naomi went over to the ticket machines.

"Cable cars? We're riding cable cars?"

"Yeah, you're not scared, are you?" she smirked.

"Hell no! I want to do it! Why would I be scared?" I ask.

"I don't know, with your small lady-parts and all. Sounded a bit like a wimp." She quipped, taking my hand as we lined up.

"Hey, just because you make me go a bit weak in the knees doesn't mean that I'm a small coward girl." I proclaimed.

"Weak in the knees, eh?" Naomi just smiled. God, she was teasing me this whole time. She knew that I wasn't just a feeble little girl, I should've been aware of that. With her always telling me how great I was and so on.

"You're only fucking around, aren't you?" I watched her dangerously.

"Maybe, but the greater question is, how do I make you so weak in the knees, miss?" she leaned down with a smug smile on her face. I decided to play the game and one up her. I placed myself right in front of her and subtly grabbed the front of her loose top, drawing her in slowly towards me.

"You know…" I purred as I looked up into her eyes that was rapidly getting blacker, "there is a number of things one could do in a cable car. Plenty of time. I could show you my weak knees, or maybe my thigh, or we could go even higher…" I drew out. I almost chuckled of the evident blush on her chest and the way she swallowed while blinking quickly. "I'm not the only one going weak in the knees, am I?"

"Huh" she breathe out, and I could recognize this grade of lust anywhere.

It felt like time had moved incredibly fast, because suddenly we were first in the line, and the next incoming cable car would be ours. I dragged a dazed Naomi into it before it closed. I got a hold of my camera, ready to take some pictures. "Ahem," Naomi said from beside me as we slowly rose over the hill, able to see the town.

"What?" I turned around, but was met with a hungry mouth. I peeped in surprised, but soon secured my hands in her hair as hers were already feeling me up. I didn't expect her to take me up on my offer. But then again, her open lips on mine was hardly something I could let down. She slowed her movements and tilted her head back after a minute.

"You should look at the view." she said, and turned to look out the windows. I couldn't stop watching her though.

"Naoms," I said when she didn't turn back to me. "You can't just kiss me like that and pull away. Spoilsport."

She laughed and kissed me again. Even though I tried to make it last, she broke it off.

"Sorry Ems, but this ride really isn't so long, and it's an amazing view. I just had to get out some steam with that teasing of yours. It was cruel."

"You're cruel too." I pouted.

"Yeah yeah, we'll have crazy sex tonight, now just look at the city will you? And smile for the camera!" She took up her phone and snapped some pictures of us, her grinning and me looking at her longingly. I guess I could wait a few more hours. At least when it was crazy sex, because I had no idea what that meant.

I took a few photos myself while Naomi pointed out some districts and told me what was special about them. She liked one particularly well, Gracia it was called. A peaceful neighborhood with lovely marketplaces. Even though I was breathless in the start of this cable car trip, she also miraculously managed to calm me down. It was this fine balance between burning passion and infinite comfort. And every aspect of it baffled me.

We stepped off the cable car on top of Montjuic, as Naomi had told me the mountain was called. It was a castle on the top of the mountain, and she motioned we'd go there.

It was an absolutely beautiful castle, with a moat around it. We crossed it by walking over a stone bridge. It was lots of colorful flowers down in the moat. We walked around a bit, it was a wonderful garden around it. When we'd walked around the whole thing, Naomi went to study the canons standing about. She looked where they were pointed, and I was sure she was making up what it was like to defend this castle in the ancient time or something. I watched her with a soft look.

A blare from afar snapped me out of it. I slowly paced towards where the sound came from, and therefore found myself leaning on the railing and looking at the small harbor down there. The loud noise had come from a cruise ship, leaving to explore Europe. I stood there and felt the light breeze in the hair, which was amazing seeing as I was quite hot after the day. There was a light fog over the harbor, making it look more grey and oldish than it was. Of course I captured it on my camera. And then I just stood there for a while, feeling the toll of the day. It was good though, I'd had more fun than what I could remember ever having. And the reason for it was currently studying old war equipment, filling up that head of hers with even more information. She was so brilliant, Naomi.

I felt some arms circling my waist from behind and then Naomi's lips kiss beneath my ear. She didn't say anything, just stood there holding me for a while. I watched the harbor a bit more before closing my eyes, saving this moment.

"I'll take you on a cruise ship one day." she whispers.

"Yeah?" I say hopefully. To know that she was thinking about our future made my heart leap.

"Yeah. We'll go see the places around the Mediterranean. Or maybe we'll go to the Caribbean. I always wanted to go there. You know, we could see the world together."

"Mmm" I murmur, sighing contently.

"But it'll be a while though." she chuckled. "It's so bloody expensive that I'll have to be a world leader firsthand."

"Sure sure," I agree, "you had that plan to take over the world."

"Still has. Just with you."

I exhaled heavily, and gripped her hands in mine tightly. She made it all so much brighter. Being.

It was some silent moments following with her having buried her face in my hair, and me stroking her hands that was rested on my stomach. It was beautifully peaceful, and I think I fell a little more in love with her if possible.

"We should get some dinner, the sun is setting."

"You're probably right," I hesitantly answered, not really wanting to leave this bubble.

"I think Aguilera would go on at around ten or eleven or maybe later, don't quite remember. So we could go out, eat, have a few drinks before then?" she suggested.

"Okay, but is there time to pop by the hotel? I wouldn't want to take my camera if there's going to be a crowd."

"Yeah, the clock is only seven, so we have time." she kissed the side of my head, before we began moving down from the mountain.

She wanted to walk, because there was a place further down with water and some souvenir shops where we bought some shit for our parents, just to be done with it.

We stopped by the hotel to put some things away, and she suggested we'd just take the most important things which she could have in her ridiculous fanny pack. But I consented.

We found a nice restaurant in one of the side streets of La Rambla, so we could walk to the concert later. We ordered wine with the food, and the conversation flew freely. I laughed a lot, and I definitely laughed more when we started ordering drinks as we were finished with the food. The waiter was hilarious too, making funny dance moves if one of his favorite songs came on the speakers. Naomi was embarrassed at first, but after getting the buzz on, she was more cheery and entertaining. When we'd been there for a couple of hours, we realized it was time to move on if we were going to catch that concert.

We said our goodbyes to the nice servers and went outside for a smoke. We each took one out of Naomis pack, and inhaled the toxic fume as we walked hand in hand towards La Rambla, good on our way to drunk. Naomi stumbled on the pavement which made me giggle.

"I think I need a gum," Naomi said, pointing into a kiosk in the middle of a dark, narrow street. "You want anything Em?"

"No, I'll just stay here and smoke this up." I held my fag up for proof.

"Okay." she kissed me quickly before walking into the shop.

I lent back on the stony wall and looked up into the dark sky. The city was buzzing from life, I could hear it. And I knew we were close to La Rambla by the sounds of it. But this side street was oddly quiet. I liked it though. Made it possible for me to think about how great everything was. How great Naomi was. God, I loved her.

Some drunken boys went past the end of the street to the left of me, and I turned my head to watch them stupidly laugh and talk to each other in spanish. My mouth twitched up on its own accord. They made me think of the boys at home.

When I turn my head back, there's suddenly a big dark shadow coming towards me rapidly. I don't have time to react before he's pressed into me, holding something sharp to my throat. I close my eyes and gasp. He pressed his big and rough hand to my mouth, making it impossible to yell. My heart beat furiously, but because of all the wrong reasons. I didn't dare move, due to what was pressed to my throat.

A smell of cologne, old alcohol and something old stinking hit my nostrils, instantly making me nauseous. I felt his hot breath in my ear as he spoke quietly.

"Silencio, preciosa."

.

Finally, we're headed towards the end.
