Chapter 28
I don't own Lucian
I got a review on the last chapter from a Guest that I wanted to address.
"Okay you have no idea how the whole LA Thing Works. I live on Sunset Boulivard, so I understand these things. First of all, Lucy and Ian aren't big stars. Unless you're a girl between the ages of 13 and 25, you think they're irrelevant. Lucy's voice isn't anything special, and the only reason either of them got onto the show is because they're attractive. If you want to see real Hollywood stars, watch the frikken Oscars. Secondly, Ian punching the paparazzi was down right stupid. He could be arrested for that, and it would ruin his career. Let's pretend like people actually cared about Lucy and Ian like they do in your story. LAX would have provided them with security guards, to protect them from any possible danger. Don't write about things that you have no idea about. Don't believe me about Lucy and Ian? Wait ten years and see if anyone knows them. They've already peaked, and it isn't a high peak."
There are so many things I could address to you first about your review, given you are reading the next chapter. Just because you live in California doesn't mean you know everything in the world when it comes to celebrities. If you were to live in California one would assume you would actually be able to spell Boulevard correctly, if you truly do live there.
Neither Lucy nor Ian were cast just because of their looks. Yes they are both gorgeous but they also have flawless acting skills which is what gets them jobs, clearly. The part about Lucy's voice not being anything special is a bunch of shit to be blunt. If it isn't then why did she win American Juniors? Have you ever actually listened to her perform? I'd say no. Or you're tone deaf.
Everyone has their own opinions and this is mine. If you don't like Ian and Lucy and you don't feel they are "anything special" then why bother reading a Lucian story? Why would I believe anything you've said thus far? Odds are you're a pre-teen who thinks they are above others just because you supposedly live in Cali. Not to mention you were too much of a coward to actually sign in or even leave a name.
And on that note, to all my astonishing reviews whom I love, I hope you enjoy this chapter!
Lucy's POV
A relief of pleasantry washes over me as soon as Holly pulls into our driveway. Holly told us she dropped the dogs off at the house this morning before she left for the airport. Ian and I decided a long time ago that we would give Holly a key to our house in case of emergencies. Plus it was also beneficial for when Holly would keep an eye on our house and the dogs whenever Ian and I would go out of town.
Ian carries our bags inside the house while I bring Brea inside. I excuse myself upstairs to feed Brea since she is hungry. Carrying Brea upstairs I place her car seat on the floor in her nursery. Taking off my jacket I drape it across the changing table then remove my long sleeved shirt, leaving me in my camisole. Unbuckling Brea from her car seat I take a seat in the plush rocking chair to nurse her just like I have imagined doing on many occasions during my pregnancy when I would find myself sitting in here envisioning myself with Brea.
Once she is full I resituate my shirt and pull on my other shirt. I was going to take Brea's coat off but I know Holly will want to see her in it.
"This is your room baby girl. You're going to sleep in mommy and daddy's room for a bit then you'll sleep in here." I press a kiss to her forehead and nuzzle her closer to me. I still can't get over how soft and tiny she is. She still has the new baby smell, too. "Come on, let's go see your Grandma Holly."
Walking down the stairs I head into the living room to take a seat on the couch next to Holly. Ian put the dogs out in the backyard while I was carrying Brea to ensure they don't try and jump on me. Holly coos at Brea's coat as soon as she sees me walking towards her. Once I sit on the couch I take off Brea's coat to reveal Brea's white fluffy tutu over the pink onesie. Holly about falls over at the sight of Brea. She cradles Brea close to her with a megawatt smile on her face. I can also see the tears in her eyes but she is trying to contain them.
"She's beautiful," Holly praises. She can't take her eyes off of Brea.
Not even a week old and Brea Rose Harding has already captured the hearts of everyone who's seen her. Our little girl is going to be a heart stopper her whole life.
"I'm going to go see the dogs." I tell her, though she barely nods her head to confirm she heard me—she is entranced by Brea.
I laugh softly to myself and push up off of the couch. Walking into the backyard I giggle loudly when Mochi runs right at Ian from behind while he is distracted by Bailey who is in front of him. Mochi jumps up at Ian's back thus knocking him over on the ground. Bailey and Jack run straight to Ian who now lays defeated on the ground. All three dogs lick his face and nudge at him while wagging their tails high in the air.
I scurry across the large yard to where they are roughhousing and sit on Ian's back in a straddling position.
"I win!" I grin with triumph.
I remain on top of Ian while petting Mochi, Bailey, and Jack. Receiving countless licks and kisses from them. I grab the tennis ball that sits not too far from Ian's head and throw it across the yard for the dogs to chase after.
I lean down to bring my lips to Ian's. "So, what does the winner get?"
"What makes you so sure you won?" Ian challenges. Before I can respond, Ian manages to flip me off of his back and roll on top of me. "I think I win."
I hum in reply, shaking my head. "That was an after victory move. I won. Now you owe me a prize."
"How about a kiss?" Ian offers with a silly grin on his lips.
"Hmmmm it better be one hell of a kiss. It is a Victor's kiss after all." I raise my eyebrow in a daring manner at him.
"I think I can do that."
Ian pins my hands above my head with his right hand to successfully pin my body underneath his. His lips capture my own in a deep kiss eliciting a variety of moans from me. My hands tug against his hold in pleasure when his tongue smoothly slips into my mouth to dominate mine. I arch my back up pressing my chest up against his in response to his left hand guiding down my side until his hand hooks behind my knee to pull my right leg up over his hip. The heated moment lasts several additional moments. When we separate, Ian rests his forehead against my own.
"Does that fulfil your reward for winning?"
I grin up at him before responding. "I think I might need a couple more kisses to call it fulfilled."
Ian chuckles at my response. Bowing his head down, he reattaches our lips just like they had been. We are forced apart by Jack nuzzling his head between us licking both our faces in attempt to grasp our attention.
"I guess he's ready to go inside. We better get inside anyway, otherwise Holly may try and kidnap Brea. She didn't even notice I had gotten up off of the couch."
Ian climbs off of me then pulls me up to my feet. We call the dogs inside with us. We join Holly in the living room where I have to pry Brea out of her hands in order to show Brea to Mochi, Bailey, and Jack. They all sniffed at her and gently licked her arm once. Holly stays at the house for another half hour until forcing herself to leave. She said she needs to get home since it's almost time for dinner and traffic will be a mess driving home in with it being ten till 7pm.
I spread a blanket out on the living room floor to play with Brea after gathering several toys from upstairs that we had previously bought for her. Ian is upstairs in our bedroom putting the basinet in our room for Brea to sleep in tonight. All three dogs are lying around me and Brea ever since I put the blanket down on the floor. They haven't left the living room once.
"I forgot, I have something for Brea." Ian abruptly says, running up the stairs.
"What is daddy up to?" I ask mindlessly shaking my head.
A few minutes later Ian rushes back down the stairs with a small wrapped box in his hand. It is wrapped in light pink paper with a thick white ribbon and a thin black polka dot ribbon on top of it tying around the package. The ribbons are tied into a perfect bow on top. Ian hands me the box then takes a seat down next to me leaning his back against the front of the couch.
"What's this?" I ask Ian curiously.
"Just open it." Ian runs his hand through his hair and rubs the back of his neck—a habit of his whenever he is nervous.
Turning my focus back to the present in my hand I slowly untie both of the ribbons causing them to fall in my lap. I delicately pull away the wrapping paper to reveal a white box. I lift open the flap to expose the item. A gasp falls from my lips when I see what it is. It is the cutest little light grey baby Goose with a red ribbon sewn around the neck fastened in a bow and a black head.
"Ian…"
"I bought it a couple months ago. I saw it when I was out one day and it seemed fitting. You've always been my Goose, Lucy Goose. That makes our daughter our Baby Goose. Do you like it?" Ian rambles nervously.
I gently rest my hand on his forearm. "Ian," I look at him softly. "It is perfect. I love you." I lean forward to kiss him slowly.
Ian wraps his arm around my lower waist. "I love you. I'm glad you like it." He presses a kiss to my temple and rests his head in the crook of my neck.
"Look what daddy got you, baby." I hold the goose up towards her.
"What would you like for dinner?" Ian asks after a few minutes of silence between us.
I think about it for a moment before knowing exactly what I want. "I am starving. Chipotle sounds delicious if that sounds good to you?" I smile hopefully up at him. Ian knows how much I love Chipotle. He even had Maggie drive him to a Chipotle back in Memphis the morning after I gave birth to Brea knowing how hungry I was.
"That does sound pretty good. You going to be okay here while I go get it?"
"Yeah, I'll get the dogs fed while you're gone."
Ian shifts to kiss both me and Brea goodbye before leaving.
"Your daddy is an amazing man baby. You're lucky to have such a good daddy; not all girls are lucky enough to have a daddy as sweet and caring as yours." I press a lingering kiss to her forehead.
While Ian was gone I fed the dogs and played with Brea for a little bit longer before going upstairs. Ian texted me saying he was stuck in traffic and it would be about half an hour before he got to Chipotle then probably another half hour before he was back home depending on traffic. Ian had already taken our bags upstairs when we got home earlier so they were already waiting in our bedroom for us to sort through. I decide to take care of it now while Ian is gone because I know if I try and do it while he is here he will want to do it himself rather than me "straining" myself.
I have Brea safely lying down on the bed between with pillows around the sides of the bed to prevent her from wiggling anywhere. Mochi is lying on the bed next to Brea and Jack and Bailey are on the floor where Jack is at the end of the bed and Bailey is inside the doorway looking down the hall.
Going through our clothes I make a pile of what needs to be washed and what can be put away. I put all of our toiletries away first since we will need those sooner than all the clothes. Brea happily gurgles and shakes the little Goose Ian got for her. She loves it already. I can't wipe the smile off of my face that's caused by Brea. She is so precious.
I run the dirty laundry to into the laundry room to get a load started so I can get our clothes washed now before things become hectic. Returning to our room I hang up the rest of the clothes that were clean and put away the remaining items. I walk over to the nightstand to pick up my phone when it sounds Ian's specific ringtone.
"Hey babe, you on your way home?"
"I am about to pull into the driveway if you want to set the table."
"Great, see you in a sec babe."
Hanging up the phone, I slip it in my back pocket then kneel on the bed to pick Brea up.
"Come on baby girl, daddy is home." All three dogs get up and follow me as I carry Brea out of the room and we head downstairs.
Ian and I enjoy the deliciousness of Chipotle while Brea lays on the floor on a blanket with her goose. The dogs are out in the backyard before it's time for bed. Shortly after we've finished our dinner Brea starts fussing. I tell Ian she's probably hungry so I take Brea up to her nursery to feed her. Before I feed her though, I lay her down on the changing table to take off her little tutu and black pants leaving her in the pink onesie and socks. Her wails become louder as I undress her causing me to assure her I am about to feed her.
I sit in the rocking chair just like I had just a few hours prior and feed her. I sing to her in a soft tone watching as her little eyelids flutter shut numerous times. Her suckling softens as well but she is trying to fight the fatigue. Twenty minutes later Brea is fast asleep in my arms. I debate whether or not to lay her down now or change her diaper first. I decide to bite the bullet and change her diaper in hopes of her not waking up. If she does then I can simply sing her back to sleep I'm sure. She seems to respond well to me singing to her.
Much to my pleasure Brea doesn't wake. She stirs a couple times but not enough to fully bring herself out of her slumber. I cradle her to my chest as I carry her down the hall to mine and Ian's room where her basinet resides. I have her goose in my right hand while holding her body to my chest. I gently lay her down in the basinet and place the goose in there with her. I whisper a soft "Goodnight and I love you" before kissing her gently and leaving the room. I return to her nursery retrieving the baby monitors we bought. I place one in the room with Brea and take the other downstairs with me.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs I see Ian is sitting down on the couch waiting on me to return.
"Where's Brea?" Ian furrows his brow.
"She is tuckered out. She was falling asleep while I was feeding her so I changed her diaper and took off her tutu and pants then laid her down in the basinet." I inform him as I walk across the room to him.
Ian opens his arms, gesturing for me to climb into his arms. I sit on his lap with my legs stretched across the couch. He wraps his right hand around my lower back to rest his hand on the outside of my thigh. Ian's left hand lies in my lap toying with my fingers.
"We're home. It feels good; everything feels right." Ian murmurs softly. I nod my head in confirmation, dropping my head to rest on his shoulder. I am exhausted, my body is aching and I am still incredibly sore and tender from giving birth.
I mewl lowly when Ian's hand gently kneads my thigh. "Don't stop," I plead at the relaxing sensation.
"Are you still sore?" Ian questions, keeping up his hand's movements. I nod my head and mumble a yes softly. "How about I take you upstairs and give you a massage then?"
I remove my head from where it had been tucked in his neck to smile softly at him. "That would be marvelous. Thank you." I press a kiss to his jaw.
Ian scoops me up bridal style then carries me upstairs to our bedroom. Not wanting to wake up Brea, we refrain from turning on our nightstand lamps. Ian places me down on the bed then walks across the room to our closet. He flips on the light and pulls the door shut halfway thus bringing enough light to the room for us to see while it not being enough to disturb Brea.
Returning to my side, Ian tells me to lay down on the center of the bed. I do as told while watching him with a curious eye. Ian kneels his right knee on the mattress bringing him closer to me. He pulls both my shirt and camisole off and tosses them to the floor. Ian shifts down a bit to unbutton my jeans. I lift my hips up off of the bed for him to pull the denim off of my legs.
"Roll over," Ian's soft voice says.
I do so and get comfortable on my stomach. Ian's hands rub my shoulders relieving them of all the built up tension. He works his way down my arms and my back. He has already unclasped my bra to prevent it from being in his way. It now rest on the floor with the rest of my clothing.
I have to refrain from moaning when his hands travel down to the section of my lower waist, ass, and inner thighs. This is where I am most worn and feeling uncomfortable. Ian's smooth hands dance across the skin caressing me for what felt like endless hours.
Ian's lips trail up my spine to my shoulder blades. Ian brushes my hair off of my back so it is off to the side. A smile tugs on my lips at the action of his lips—they are pressing kisses to the back of my neck, specifically my bow tattoo. Ian always thought my tattoos were sexy. For some reason he found my bow the sexiest. When we were first dating he was always lifting my hair out of the way to assault the back of my neck with his marvelous lips and playful teeth.
After kneading my entire backside he flips me over to lay on my back. This time Ian sheds me of my panties bringing me to lie completely bare to him. I giggle and even stifle a moan when his hands made their way to my breasts. He spends several minutes massaging them before carrying on. My back arches up off the bed as his hands make their way down my sides.
I hum lowly at the pleasurable feelings. Ian lifts my right leg up; his hands rubbing the sides of my thigh all the way up to where they met my torso. He repeats the same actions for my left legs as well. All the ache in my thighs has dissipated and I feel like I'm on cloud 9. My eyes have long gone drifted shut. I sigh in bliss when his hands slide across my waistline gently. My back arches ever so slightly off of the mattress and I release a low moan at his hand's movements.
Ian's hands slowly drift lower to my most sensitive part of my body holding the most pain of all. I wince slightly at first but soon relax at his gentle hands soothing all my muscles and flesh. Ian continues to soothe my entire body, paying attention to certain parts more so than others. By the time he has finished I pull him up the mattress to bring his lips above my own.
"Thank you." I cannot express to him how much better I feel now.
Our lips crash together and dance in perfect harmony. After while we separate—much to our dismay. Ian and I shift underneath the comforter and situate our pillows the way we like. I curl into his side with my head on his chest just above his heart. Ian wraps his arms around my still naked body. We murmur goodnight to one another as well as one to Brea and the dogs who lay about the room.
That night we slept until Brea's cries woke us at one. This is something completely new to both me and Ian, but we are going to learn together. We are going to conquer this together.
