Review Responses
Maysidotes- You have won cookies! Very descriptive! (::) (::) (::) (::) (::) Enjoy!
BJStarlington- Correct!
Ladyroo8- When you say others do you mean like other champions or other halfbloods? It's fine to have questions. Yes, Percy did keep Kronos's scythe from when Hestia gave it to him. Percy only had to give away his fire powers, so he can still summon food and stuff like that. He lost all powers from Poseidon. But I do have something interesting about the horses... It will come in, in about 5-6 chapters. :D Thanks for the couple names.
rider-84- Very detailed and correct. Thank you for your couple name.
CowgurlStrong- Correct. Umm, well I was thinking ship names. Good suggestions.
Ajacks1996- There will be a war in each book. Also there is some more time for Percy to train. Can't say anymore.
Hades4life- Correct. Thanks!
Kcool456- It's fine. Thanks for being an awesome reader.
CP Nightshade- Thanks, I get the pun.
Ninajago123- Actually they've kissed a few times before chapter 27, but I'm a bad romance writer, so I tend to skip that stuff.
ILoveGoodBooks- Good guess, but Annabeth fell off the cliff in the titan's curse.
Guest- I love to leave cliff hangers. They actually help me write better. Also, you are correct.
Lttaco- Correct. To answer your question, other than Chronos, I don't think any other gods will fade in this book. In book two, a lot of the Olympians will fade. Muahahahahaha!
Roxie Raven Jackson- Right.
Grace. Heroes123- You forgot Percy *gasp* Just kidding
Seth Halo- I can't use him because one, you didn't fill out the complete form. Two, OC submittion is closed. I will take ideas for characters but NO MORE OCs!
MLM24- Thanks!
Smashby00- Sorry, OC submittion has been closed. Also Sean is a bit of a Gary Stu.
theguynamedNico- Thank you.

Previously on Storm Rising,
"Now your training can begin."
"Since you had previously lost your connection to water," Hydros continued. "We'll need to rebuild that connection."
"How will we do that?" I asked, swinging my dangling legs.
"Good question. There is water all around us."
"Like the moisture in the air?"
"No," Hydros said. "There are these threads or strands of water that connect everything. In order to have complete control over your water powers, you must be able to sense these threads and then later move them."
"How do I find the threads?"
"Concentrate on the air around you," He instructs. I stare hard at the air around me, but see no threads. "No, Percy, you can't look for the threads. You must feel them. Try closing your eyes."
I oblige. "Feel your connection to the sea and the water. Let that guide you, not your eyes," Stretching out my senses, I begin to feel something near me. In my mind, an image flashing, a huge network of blue threads crisscrosses the Void.
"I can see the threads!" I cry out. Feeling the threads around Hydros' face twitch, I can tell he is smiling.
"Good. Now I want you to try to sense where things are through the water strands."
Concentrating on the threads, I begin to sense what is around me. There is a thirty foot tall oak tree forty feet to our left and the sea is twenty to twenty five feet below us. More importantly, I sense Hydros using the threads of water to sense my progress.
"You may open your eyes now," Hydros says. I open them. Everything still looks the same, but I can sense the energy humming through the threads. Hesitantly, I reach out to pull on one of threads. A huge jet of water bursts out of the sea and flies towards us. My eyes widen as it nears me. It stops inches from my face. I can feel the water threads holding back the wave, courtesy of Hydros. He laughs, "Hold up there Percy. You will learn how to use the threads soon. But since you can feel the threads, we can now work on your teleportation skills using your water powers."
For the next two hours, Hydros teaches me how to teleport or vapor travel as he calls it. It's tiring work, causing your body to turn into water droplets and then getting them to reform in the right order some where else. At first, Hydros has me practice teleporting from one stick to another, about five feet apart. It may sound easy, but it is extremely difficult. Soon, I am teleporting thirty feet apart. Then he has me travel through things like trees. The first seven times, I manage to get stuck in the tree. Finally, I can teleport through the tree.
"Good work, Percy," Hydros says. "Now for your final task."
"Are we almost done?" I ask, trying not to complain, but I am exhausted.
"Your final task is to teleport back to your room."
I groan internally as I prepare myself to teleport. Taking a deep breath, I concentrate on moving to my room. Suddenly I find my self in my room. Excited, but fatigued, I collapse onto my bed with a groan.
Bianca pokes her head in my door way. "Are you okay?" She asks.
"No," I say.
She sits down on the bed next to me. "Training was tough for you too?"
"Tell me about it. I had to learn how to teleport through a tree. I got stuck seven times. Seven times!"
Bianca holds her hand over her mouth in an attempt to stifle her giggles. "Sorry, I shouldn't laugh."
"Nah," I say. "It's okay. Besides, you look cute when you giggle."
She rolls her eyes at me. "Yeah, yeah."
"How did your training with Nyx go?"
"Nyx was teaching me how to heal myself with shadows," She replied. I look up at her. Even with her black hair messed up from training, she looks amazing.
"That's cool."
"Yeah. I almost forgot! I still have your flaytos," Bianca says, pulling the stone out of her pocket, holding it out to me.
I curl her fingers back around the stone, but leave my hands wrapped around hers. "You keep it. I would feel better knowing you have something to protect yourself with when I can't be there to protect you."
"Percy, I can take care of myself."
"I know, but that doesn't mean I can't still worry about you."
"Whatever. I'm going to take a shower. See you at lunch," She says, leaving the room.
I decide to get a shower too. I walk into the bathroom and turn on the faucets for the bathtub, it's so big, it's more of a swimming pool. After relaxing in the tub for a little while, I get dressed in a clean pair of shorts and a tee shirt.
When it's time for lunch, I head over to Bianca's room. She's sitting on her bed, looking at what seems to be a photo book. Black and white photographs of a younger Bianca, Nico, a woman who must be their mother, and Hades smile up at me. Well, Bianca, Nico, and Marie smile. Hades doesn't have his usual scowl,a smile tugs at the corners of his mouth.
"Ready to go?" Bianca asks.
"Yup," I grab her hand and use my new powers to teleport us to the dining room. We eat a delicious lunch of sandwiches, fruit, and vegetables.
After the plates have been cleared, Ouranos gets our attention. "Normally in the afternoons, you will be training battle skills. But since it is your first full day, you will be getting new weapons or upgrading."
Complains break out. "I know you all like your current weapons. But just give your new a shot and I'll think you'll prefer them. After that, we will test your skills to see where you will be trained," Ouranos explains.
The primordials lead us to their armory outside their training arena. If I thought our armory in our quarters was impressive, than there is no words to explain the extent of this armory. The weaponry at camp half blood seems like child's play compared to this. Rows at rows of swords fill the room. Bronze, steel, iron, gold, silver, and so many more types of metal I can't name fill the rows also with curved, straight, and wicked bent swords. Knifes with just as much variety line another wall along with spears, bows, javelins, axes, and more pointy things.
"Welcome to the armory," Pontus introduces us.
"How will we ever pick our weapons?" Nico asks.
"That is why I'm here," A voice says.
I spin around looking for the source of the voice. From the shadows behind, a tall figure stepped out. Her long black hair fell lush to her waist. Black as volcanic rock, her eyes bore into us. I can only remember the girl who helped me defeat Atlas.
"Zoe," Bianca says, before rushing forward to hug the older girl.
"Bianca!" Zoe Nightshade, daughter of Atlas laughs. "You're alive!"
"And so are you!" Bianca exclaims.
"What? I was never dead. I was simply dying, and was put in the stars by Lady Artemis. From the stars, lord Ouranos of the Heavens, offered me a spot as head weaponeress, or what ever that means. Basically, I help you find the right weapons."
"You've lost your old speak," I said, stepping forward.
Zoe smiles wide when she sees me. "Perseus, it is good to see you again. I learned this new English for it was faster to communicate to those looking for weapons. So they need new weapons?" Zoe asks Ouranos.
"Or they will need upgrades on their old weapons. You may use the holograph-er for that," Ouranos says.
She smiles at the word holograph-er. "All right, who wants to go first?"
Hazel steps forward hesitantly. "I'm Hazel, daughter of Pluto."
"Nice to meet, Hazel," Zoe says warmly. "Can I see your current weapon? Also, place your hand around this stick."
Hazel summons her gold spatha from the horse charm on her necklace. She hands it to Zoe before placing her hand around the stick. The stick seems to morph before fitting into Hazel's hand.
"You can let go now," Zoe says, comparing the spatha's grip to the one of the stick. "Okay, you will need to get a different grip on this blade. It doesn't fit quite right and prohibits you from getting maximum power. You can keep the spatha though, it's good for when you're riding Arion. Though you'll need an on the ground weapon for when you aren't on a horse."
"How do you know all of this about me?" Hazel asks.
"I have your profile up," Zoe says. She walks along the rows on weapons until she stops at a pair of short swords. "Here," She hands them to Hazel."
The blades are beautiful, a mix of gold, silver, and platinum. The black grips seem to fit perfectly in Hazel's hands. She takes a few experimental swings. "Perfect."
"Good," Zoe says, handing her spatha and the stick that molded to her hands. "Take those to the castle smith and he will fit a new hilt on the spatha."
The dual blades shrink into two golden circle charms which Hazel slides on her necklace, slipping the mold into her pocket.
Frank receives a reinforced bow and quiver of arrows, blessed by Aether, so he will never run out of light beams to shoot. Nico gets a copy of his stygian iron sowrd, both blessed by Erebus to be stronger. The copy sword also collapses into the silver skull ring on his finger. Reyna needs new grips on both her gladius and her dagger. Ivory also gets a copy of her gold dagger while Ricky gets a set of throwing knifes to throw when not using Leon, his sword. Triton gets a green sword that has a blue hilt, along with a black trident. Amphitrite receives a pair of pale blue knifes about almost two feet long.
"Bianca, let me see your weapons," Zoe asks her friend.
Bianca pulls her black bow from her bracelet on her wrist and the flaytos stone from her pockets. Zoe examines the bow carefully and tugs on the bow string. "It seems to be in peak condition. Then again, poplar wood is very good. These are some interesting knifes. Where did you get them from?"
"Percy received them after bathing in the River Styx a second time," She answered.
Zoe's eyes flicker up to me, as if realizing that Bianca and I were a couple. She gives the tiniest of nods, and I know we have received approval from the legendary huntress.
"The blades and bow are fine, they will just need to be strengthened by a primordial," She holds them out and Nyx takes them, quickly blessing them. Bianca takes back the bow, now a black mixed with midnight blue color, making it look even more beautiful. She slips the flaytos back into her pocket.
"Percy," Zoe turns toward me. I'm the last one to get a new weapon. I pull riptide and Diarkis out of my pockets. Zoe's eyes sadden as she reaches out to take riptide. She activates the pen and holds the familiar blade in her hand.
"Ananklumos," She whispers. "The current that takes one by surprise."
"You should keep it, Zoe. It belonged to you and I have used it to it's full use. It would be a greater honor for you to carry the blade," I tell her.
Zoe's eyes fill with tears as she places the pen in her pocket. Then she does something that completely astonishes me. She hugs me. Zoe Nightshade, man hater from the time of her abandonment by Hercules, hugs a male.
"Thank you, Percy," Zoe says. Her eyes land on Diarkis. She moves to activate it.
"No! Don't! It will hurt you!" I protest.
She looks surprised but respects my wishes, leaving the blade untouched. "Since I've taken your old sword, you will need a new weapon. Please place your hand around this," She indicates a stick, much like the one given to Hazel, sticking out of a block. I grasp the stick and the block moves to the height that matches me best. Off in the corner, a blue light goes off. Zoe walks over and gasps. She grabs a glass case and walks back over, setting it down in front of me. I slowly open the lid and with drew two black and blue blades. The swords are long, curved blades with wicked sharp edges. The hand grips seem made for my fingers. The blade is even more perfectly balanced than riptide.
Gaia gasps while the other primordials stare at the two gleaming blades in my hands. "That's not possible."
"What?" I asked.
Ouranos looks me straight in the eyes. "Those blades were last used by Void herself, to destroy Order."
I stare at the primordials in shock. "You're joking right?"
They shake their heads solemnly. "Whatever the case, the blades have chosen him, so they are Percy's," Ourea says. The others nod their consent.
"The castle smith is down that hall, the tenth door on the left," Zoe instructs. My friends and I follow her directions, Amphitrite staying behind with Hydros as she does not need her weapons fixed.
Soon, we are outside the door with a heart that's edges look like that of a cog. It reads,
Castle Smith
Nothing is unfixable
C. B. + S. B.
I don't have time to comprehend what the sign means before Bianca pushed the door open. A little silver bell dings as we enter the room.
A looming figure of a man is bent over a spear tip. His dark brown skin glows in the like making it look a cocoa brown. A woman with a beautiful figure sits on a chair next to him, using a red hot stylus to carve designs into a piece of bronze. They turn around as we enter.
I realize what the sign on the door means as soon as I see their faces. Charles Beckendorf + Silena Beauregard.
How was it? I hope it wasn't too clique with Zoe, Silena, and Beckendorf.
