A/N: Sorry for a lack of any update. I have been so busy with school work lately that I've barely had any time to touch my computer. I'm on break now so hopefully I'll be able to update. If anyone has any questions, feel free to pm me or dm me on instagram.

"Where are the eggs? Where is the butter?" Marci fussed as she tied on her apron. It had been weeks since Terra's death, the occupants of the foster home and others have learned to cope. A picture of Terra was placed on the mantel of the fireplace by the dinner table. Nagihiko was in the kitchen with Marci, preparing for the night's feast. November 27th, Thanksgiving. Marci and Nagi had been cooking since the day before, preparing the giant bird to eat for the age-old holiday.
"What are they cooking for?" Amu questioned as she peered into the kitchen. Her boyfriend peered over her head into the brightly lit kitchen, catching Yaya taking a brownie.
"Thanksgiving dinner." Ikuto explained. Amu looked at him in confusion.
"You've got to be kidding me." Ikuto started. Amu bowed her head.
"You've never had Thanksgiving dinner, Amu-chan?" Rima asked as she stepped into the room. Amu shrugged.
"It don't remember anything before my parents went insane." Amu stated. Yaya hugged her from behind.
"We'll make your first Thanksgiving the best, then!" She stated happily. Amu smiled.
"Alright." She agreed.
"But first, I have to run to the bakery and take a shift. The manager needs help baking and selling pies. There's a lot of demand for them right now." Ikuto explained as he grabbed a coat and the car keys. Amu also grabbed a coat and Rima grabbed one as well.
"We're going too. It's boring just standing here." Rima stated as she left the house. They arrived at the small bakery in a few minutes to find a long line of people that led out the door. The three pushed past the people and ran behind the counter, grabbing the aprons and starting to take care of work. Two hours passed until the bakery cleared out and the only people left were the four workers.
"Wow that was hard work." Amu stated as she wiped the sweat from her brow. The other's nodded in agreement.
"Honey, I'm going to step out for a second to make a phone call. You guys can lock up." The manager said as she made her way outside.
"Okay!" They chimed and began cleaning up. The entrance to the bakery suddenly opened, letting a cold gust of air in.
"Sorry we're closed." Ikuto said. He peered over the counter to see a red-headed girl with cakey makeup and glaring green eyes.
"Saaya." Rima hissed. Amu's eyes narrowed as she cleaned the display.
"What do you want?" Ikuto asked, beginning to get protective of Amu.
"Just came to check on my Ikuto." Saaya explained as she smiled. Amu huffed and made her way around the counter and began to stack chairs.
"I have a girlfriend, Saaya, back off it's never going to happen." Ikuto stated coldly. Saaya then ran to Amu and slammed her against the wall.
"What makes you think you're good enough for my Ikuto? You're pathetic ugly trash!" She screeched as she slammed Amu into the wall over and over. Amu began to see spots in her vision as her head hit the wall. Ikuto ran to the pair and ripped Saaya off of Amu, throwing her to the floor and holding his pinkette.
"Bitch I swear if you don't leave right now I will shove this broom up your ass. But I doubt that'll hurt. You must be wide open from all the guys you've taken in there." Rima hissed. Saaya was left without a retort, and she got up and left in a huff. Amu held her head and sighed.
"I'll never be left alone." She said sadly as she stood up. Ikuto kissed her forehead softly and the three locked up the bakery.
"Pass the bread, please." Utau requested as she adjusted herself in her seat. The kids and Marci were all gathered at the table, eating happily and talking with one another. Nagihiko and Marci had prepared a huge meal for everyone, and they were all having a great time.
"The school break is ending soon." Kukai announced sadly. The kids all sighed heavily at the thought of returning to school.
"But guess what's coming up." Nagihiko said.
"Ikuto's birthday!" Yaya exclaimed happily. Ikuto sighed.
"I'll be eighteen guys, meaning I won't live here anymore." He explained. Yaya frowned.
"That's right. You'll be leaving us." Utau said sadly.
"Then after him it's me." Kukai stated as he wrapped his arm around his girlfriend.
"Well, let's not focus on what's to come later. Let's focus on the now. Tadase, pass the stuffing." Marci requested.
"Marci, there is no stuffing." He retorted.
"Oh. I'm going to go get some then." She said as she got up.
"I'll go as well." Rima offered, but Marci shook her head.
"I'll only be a few minutes. Enjoy the food, I'll be back. Maybe I'll bring some ice cream." She stated, and then she was out the door. The group carried on eating and chatting. Minutes passed. Hours passed. Eventually they cleaned up and worriedly went to bed after making phone calls to Marci's phone, which they discovered was off.
Marci never did return that night.
