Hey everyone! It's been a while. I'm really sorry for the wait but I didn't have a lot of spare time to work on this. I'm still in the middle of Finals week and choir just ended (too many rehearsals, too long). On another note, I'm happy I'm able to upload this for you all.

I feel as though I'm having a little fun with torturing Canada. No one seems to remember him that often, but in spite of it all, Canada continues to keep going! XD

It makes you wonder how long he has been ignored. :(

Also, thank you for the reviews! And thank you ToastandOut! It was your review that got me determined to finish this chapter and update today. I felt as though a month was probably too long for you guys. I know I'd get impatient. So, I apologize.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything. Except for any OCs that you may come across in this story.

Chapter 31: Canada? Is that you? Wait, WHAT DID YOU SAY?!

Police Chief Saguro was worried. It had been at least four hours since the terrorist group Ranmyaku announced their control over one of the most prestigious high schools in Japan. The police chief himself hadn't gotten word of the hostage situation until he spotted it on the news. Apparently Ranmyaku had decided to broadcast what they had done over every television screen in Japan. Probably just to gloat.

Now, he and practically his whole police force were out along the school gates of Ouran, ducking behind their police cruisers in case of a gun fight.

Saguro hated the situation he was in at the moment. Students were in danger and he couldn't do anything. He hoped Ranmyaku hadn't harmed any of them, though he doubted that was the case. The terrorist group had men all around the perimeter of Ouran Academy's High School. Every time the police force fired upon them, they'd fire right back and because they hid behind the bright pink, towering gates of Ouran, they had an easy advantage over them.

Just a few minutes prior, Saguro had his men cease fire. They were wasting bullets after all. If anyone wanted to keep the students of Ouran from getting hurt, they had to wait and give the terrorist group what they wanted. But … What did they want? Saguro questioned himself. Ranmyaku had yet to tell anyone what their demands were.

Maybe they're after those government officials that supposedly were having a meeting at Ouran. But then, it shouldn't take too long to capture these officials right? Four hours should have been enough time to carry out their plan, Saguro deducted. So why hasn't Ranmyaku tried to escape yet?

"Chief!" called the sergeant next to him. "What should we do now? We've been holding fire for quite some time and-"

"I know," nodded Saguro. "It's getting a little unbearable just sitting here and doing nothing. But Sergeant, there really isn't much we can do at this point. When I come up with something, I will notify you immediately. Is that understood?" he asked in an unsure tone.

The sergeant nodded slowly, a little restless due to the situation. Saguro couldn't blame him. The police force, at this moment, were helpless and it felt terrible. Not only that, but the students being held hostage weren't just any students. They were the children of the elite. They were important people. Their parents could have his head if he didn't save them. He didn't doubt the power of the rich one bit.

Just as Saguro thought this, he heard a gasp come from the sergeant next to him.

"S-Sir," began the sergeant. The man stared straight ahead and pointed. As Saguro followed his finger, the sound of a gunshot reached his ears and he watched as one of the terrorist men hunched on Ouran's pink, gate walls, slumped over and fell to the ground. The man landed face first into the cement just a few feet in front of a police cruiser. The terrorist man who had been beside him, readied his own gun but was too slow. Once again, another one fell to the ground either dead or unconscious.

Saguro blinked in surprise. What in the world …

He couldn't see what was happening beyond the walls and gate of Ouran but he knew the terrorists stationed there were frantic. As if to prove that Saguro was right, suddenly more than a hundred bullets flew through the air inside the compound. Slowly, the gunshots ceased and were replaced with the sound of men falling or crying out.

The police officers, newscasters, and reporters all stared a head with shock.

Saguro and his men, hefted their guns up in a ready position. It seemed as though minutes had passed before suddenly the gates of Ouran started to slowly open. Everyone grew tense.

Saguro trained his gun at the gate, watching and waiting. Just then, six figures began to approach them. There were two blonde men, two blonde females, and … and whatever that other person was. As Saguro inspected the newcomers his eyes wandered over to the person leaning on the tallest man's shoulder. Right away he knew exactly who it was. There was no mistaking it … "Chairman Suoh?!"

Immediately the media tried to storm him. However, a few police officers blocked their path. They shouted their questions at the pale Chairman but in return got no answer. Saguro had to admit, he wanted to know exactly what happened as well but he knew not to pry too much until it was necessary.

The Chairman looked up and gave a tiny smile to the people around him. His face still looked awfully pale and his face was slightly bruised. The man he was leaning on immediately handed the Chairman off to a sergeant.

"Get him a stretcher. They beat him up a little," the man ordered.

Saguro watched the newcomers with a calculating look. "Who are you people? How did you guys manage to get the Chairman out?" he asked through all the commotion.

The tall blonde spoke first. "My name is Lars. I am the government official from the Netherlands and these are my colleagues," he explained pointing to the countries beside him.

"Were you the ones who took down the men surrounding the gates?"

Lars nodded but glanced towards the other male next to him. "He did most of the work though." Switzerland showed his sniper gun to the Chief to give evidence of his claim.

Saguro's eyes widened. How could these government officials pull off a stunt like that alone?! That's not important now though, he told himself. "What's the situation inside?"

The older female stepped forward. "The students of Ouran were all being held hostage. More of our colleagues are still inside trying to liberate them at the moment. Most of the students are safe, though. Also, a few of the representatives have taken up fighting with the terrorists."

"They're fighting?" Saguro questioned. "But that's insane! They need back up! If one of you die there will be some global conflict!"

Vash scoffed. "Most likely. But the fact is, none of them will die."

Saguro just stared at the man in disbelief. What did he even mean by that?!

Lars smirked. "For now, we need to help the students escape before they can be caught again. The whole entire perimeter is terrorist free so you can enter wherever. The real battle is taking place inside the school."

Saguro hesitantly nodded. "R-Right. Us policemen will get on that. Is it possible to contact any of the other representatives that are still inside?"

The Dutch man nodded. "Of course there is."

For the past hour it had been practically non-stop fighting. Stop a group of terrorists, keep going, stop another group of terrorists, and then keep going again.

Vietnam was still panting a little harshly, but found the need to worry about the others around her first. "Is everyone alright?!"

Kasanoda squatted slightly and his head drooped as he tried to catch his breath. "Oh, I'm doing fine. Just dandy!" he said somewhat sarcastically.

Vietnam didn't take much offense to it and looked at her siblings. "We're all fine," spoke China on behalf of the other nations. The other yakuza students either nodded or were too out of breath to respond. Vietnam smiled ever so slightly before saying, "I'm glad everyone is doing okay. Kasanoda, can you think of any other classrooms down this hallway?"

Kasanoda shook his head. "No, not really. I think we cleared them all."

Vietnam nodded. "Alright, then let's-"

"W-WAIT!"

The nations, hosts, and delinquents all froze. Each of their eyes glanced back and forth. "Who said that?" questioned Vietnam.

"I-I did …" a voice gasped. It was obviously that of Canada. But as always, no one seemed to realize it.

"Wait …" Turkey began, his eyes staring straight ahead in disbelief. "You mean the BEAR?!"

South Korea laughed obnoxiously once everyone's eyes settled on the polar bear floating in front of them. "Talking polar bears originated in Korea daze~!"

"Wow Takashi. A talking polar bear!" exclaimed Honey sempai.

The Canadian nation sighed. "… I feel as though people do this to me on purpose."

"H-hey, do we kill it boss," questioned a confused punk.

Canada's eyes bulged out of their sockets. "Eek! You can't kill Kumachima!"

"Why would you ask such a thing?!" another punk screeched. "That's animal cruelty!"

"I-I know it's just …" the teenager gulped and backed away slowly. "… Look at its eyes," he mumbled, staring deep into Kumajiro's twinkling eyes.

"I-It does look kind of evil …"

"Do you think it's one of Nekozawa's?"

"You dope, why would Nekozawa own a polar bear?"

"And why bring it to school?"

"Y-You never know. Remember last month when he brought those cats to class the day the teacher forced him to attend."

"Oh yeah, and they scratched up Tamaki Suoh's face pretty bad too."

Kasanoda blinked, ignoring the delinquents in the background. "Wait a second … I think I see some sort of … species … behind the polar bear."

"I'M SOME KIND OF SPECIES NOW?!" Canada shouted, outraged.

"… Canada, aru, is that you?" China suddenly asked.

Canada's gaze landed on China. He hoped to confirm that the Chinese nation was actually speaking to him specifically.

"Well, is it aru? Or are you America?"

"H-how …" Canada sniffed. "How did you notice me?"

Taiwan giggled. "Canada, do you realize that America doesn't get offended nearly as much as you do?"

Matthew blinked at her and then at China. "… Hmm … I never thought about that."

"W-Wait," began Kasanoda. "Who's THAT guy?!"

"AHHH! HOW'D HE GET THERE?!"

The nations all deadpanned at the students of Ouran. Sure it must have surprised them, but did they have to be so loud?

"Who are you?" Honey asked, innocently.

The question only seemed to irk Canada even more. It was bad enough that he had to hear his own pet say it with the same exact voice. However, Matthew didn't hold it against the boy, because he sincerely didn't know better. "Um … I'm Matthew Williams, representative of Canada."

"Where's that?"

"Its north of the United States."

"Oh! So it's America's hat!"

Canada frowned. "No, America is Canada's boxers."

"But that wouldn't make sense because Mexico is already America's di-"

"Eat," ordered Mori, plopping a piece of candy into Honey's mouth, preventing the innocent third year from finishing his sentence as Turkey and South Korea began laughing quite loudly in the background.

"Aiyah, young people these days are such a pain," he muttered. "Now, C-Cama … C-caas …"

"Canane," said Turkey.

South Korea frowned. "But I thought his name was Caramel."

"Seriously?"

"Maybe it's Casanoda," Kasanoda grunted, causing Taiwan to giggle.

Matthew deadpanned at his companions. "Its. Canada."

"Right … Canada. Now, tell us what you wanted," China demanded swiftly.

Matthew nodded his head, a serious look suddenly flashing across his face. "You all need to hear this. It's really important. Our lives are in even more danger than we first thought." Everyone's attention instantly was directed at him. "It turns out that the terrorist group Ranmyaku did in fact plant bombs throughout the school. I defused a bomb already," he explained, reaching into his back pocket with one hand and pulled out a now useless explosive.

"My friend Kiku IS in danger!" cried Turkey, gritting his teeth. "I will save him before that jerk Greece steps in!" he declared, causing Taiwan and China to shush him.

After an awkward silence, Canada cleared his throat and continued. "After beating the people who planted it unconscious I slapped one terrorist awake and demanded answers. It took a while but the guy finally spilled the maple syrup."

"… Maple syrup …?" Kasanoda murmured.

"Just go along with it," Vietnam whispered back.

"So, how many bombs are we dealing with?" Taiwan asked.

Canada sighed. "The number is not too bad. We're looking for four."

"Four? Do you have any clue on where we could find them?" questioned Vietnam.

The Canadian nodded. "Yeah, it might take a while. It may be best if we all split up though."

"Yes, that would be best," nodded Vietnam. "But the students aren't going in a group without at least one nation with them," she told him.

"Sure, I would like that also," Canada said.

China groaned. "Aren't I lucky I didn't bring Hong Kong along …"

South Korea chuckled. "But you still have me, daze! Besides aniki, what's wrong with a few little explosions anyway~?!"

Yao shook his head. "Everything. Hong would immediately try to set them off not even caring about the consequences."

Taiwan nodded her head in agreement. "That's true …"

Kasanoda and the other punks looked on with confusion. "Um … isn't Hong Kong a city … in China …?" Kasanoda asked.

The nations all stiffened. "You are mistaken!" China immediately shouted.

" …"

"…"

"…?"

"I'm a Barbie Girl, in a Barbie world, life in plastic, its fantastic~! You can brush my hair! Undress me everyw-"

"GAH!" Matthew screamed. He quickly groped his phone out of his pocket and growled, "ALFRED CHANGED MY RINGTONE AGAIN!"

Everyone in the background burst into laughter.

Matthew cheeks were now bright pink as he answered the phone, stuttering at every word. "H-Hello? O-Oh its y-you N-Netherlands."

Vietnam stopped her giggling and studied Matthew as his expression changed into a serious one. After a few minutes, Canada hung up and everyone eased their laughter. The Canadian paused, before saying, "Um, everyone, it turns out Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the rest of their team took down the terrorists surrounding the school's perimeter so now we're able to escort them out of here safely."

"Yeah~!" exclaimed Honey as he hugged Usa-chan tightly.

"Also," Canada continued, "they found the school's chairman, Chairman Suoh and gave him to the police so they could look after him. He seemed injured and they found him in a closet, his mouth and wrists taped together."

"Wait, Tamaki Suoh's dad, right?" Kasanoda questioned. "He's alright though … right?"

"Yeah," Canada nodded. "So now, we have two missions, defuse each of the four bombs and escort the students outside the gates of Ouran." He looked back at the students. "Are you all still in?"

Kasanoda grinned as he and the others shared looks. "Yeah, you bet!"

Takashi nodded as Honey grinned. "Of course~! We want to do whatever we can to save our school!"

Canada smiled. "Alright, then we better get a plan ready."

"Of course," said Vietnam. "I'll be separating each and every one of you into groups." As she said this, Taiwan leaned over to Canada, "Since when have you had the Netherlands' number?"

Canada shrugged. "World War 2," he told her. "Their prince was born in Canada during that time and we sort of made a connection."

"Wow, really?"

Over by Honey and Mori, Kasanoda grinned. Things are starting to look up, knowing that the others can escape and all … But … His eyes wandered over to the nation representatives. They keep calling each other different countries. It's so weird? What do they mean when they do that? Kasanoda shook his head. It doesn't matter right now. Ouran's safety comes first.

Oh man, I love Canada. As well as half the Hetalia cast. On another note, when I took my history final and got to the Cold War questions, I could only think of Ivan and Alfred. In a glaring contest. With poor Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba as well as many others, in the middle of them.

Its hard to go to history class without thinking of Hetalia. And when I start giggling, thinking of the nations all in a fist fight and acting like children, instead of WW2 leaders and soldiers, my classmates look at me like I'm an alien. My history teacher probably already knows what I think about, considering I showed him the War of Austrian Succession, Hetalia style. Hehe!

Sorry for rambling on guys! O.O

On another note, I'll hopefully update this quicker than last time. Oh! And thanks for the reviews! :)
