Peace Fighter Extension Pack: Leviathan of the Haro.
Part One: Buried Past

It's been five weeks since Princess Luna escaped Equestria in the massive spaceship MY HEAVEN, abandoning all who live upon the surface of this planet to a cold death when the sun dies out in four years.

My army, the Peace Fighters, has been hard at work at constructing our own spaceship to chase after the faux-Goddess of the night, but it hasn't gone as quickly as I'd like. Each day we spend struggling to understand the technology left behind the Princesses is a day Luna spends flying as far away from Equestria as she can.

Speaking of this technology, it is like nothing I've ever seen before. It was buried deep beneath Canterlot Mountain, hidden deep within the gem caves. Emblazoned upon the crates and boxes down here is the symbol of seven stars arranged in a circle, with a symbol in the center of a gun in the middle, an art-pen on the left, and a beaker on the right. It eerily resembles the peace sign, but our archeologists insist that it is meant to signify unity of seven nations under the protection of law, the culture of art, and the advancement of science.

Wherever this stuff came from, it wasn't made from any species of this earth...

Standing upon the balcony at the top of Canterlot Tower Captain Shining Armor looked down upon the streets of the royal city, watching the citizens below nervously and quickly go about their business. It had been over a month since the climactic battle against the Princesses and the citizens of the newly-christened Nation of the Free Equestrians still had not yet gotten used to rule under their new management.

Celestia had ingrained in their brains so heavily that the Peace Fighters were trying to destroy their fair way of life. They were so blinded by her lies that when the light shone upon them they instinctively shielded their eyes...

The change to the new rule had not gone seamlessly; there had been countless brawls and attacks between citizens and Peace Fighter soldiers in the past month, especially against Feline Peace Fighters.

They'll all come around eventually.

Turning back and walking inside the palace Shining Armor left his room to find Lieutenant Strong Spear running down the hall towards him, the white of the peace sign on her freshly-polished chest-piece shining brilliantly in the artificial light. The mare slowed down as she approached the Peace Fighter leader, sounding just faintly out of breath.

"Captain, come quick! The archeologists have discovered something in the caves that you're gonna want to see!" Strong declared, beckoning for the stallion to follow.

"Is it dangerous?" Shining inquired, knowing all too well there might be violent unknowns lurking down in those caves.

"Not at all! Come quickly!" Strong Spear insisted, turning away and running back the way she came as Captain Armor followed, the two making their way down through the palace. "What they found down there could help us build our own space-faring vessel much quicker!"

"Could it, now? I sure hope the archeologists are right" Shining Armor responded.

Heading down the grand staircase the two passed through the ballroom and into the employee back halls, finding an elevator in the kitchen labelled 'ROYAL USE ONLY'. Entering the lift the duo waited the ride out until it stopped at the bottom level, where the opening cavern to the gem caves awaited. Stepping out into the caves Shining followed Strong as she led him to the appropriate cave where several archeologist ponies waited, all crowded around a small box.

"What do we have here?" Shining Armor declared as he neared the eggheads, who all stepped away from the open box to allow their new leader access. Inside the ancient box was a number of loose papers and bundled documents, seemingly centuries old. A layer of dust had been blown off the top sheets, and one archeologist pointed enthusiastically to the 16th paragraph, fourth sentence down, the words typed there forcing one of Shining's eyebrows to raise in suspicion.

'Leviathan of the Haro'

"But that's nothing but a legend" Shining exclaimed, already doubting his own words before they even left his mouth. Nopony would go through the trouble of hiding away documents about a creature if it didn't exist.

"But sir, these are official royal documents that were typed up and sealed away centuries ago. They bear official seals of the Royal Sisters, and even their signatures! This document is authentic!" the lead archeologist announced.

Taking a closer look at the document Shining began to read it aloud.

"'With the aforementioned events in mind I, the Royal Sister Celestia, have determined that the Leviathan of the Haro is too dangerous to let live, but too difficult to kill with our own available technology and armament. I have since ensured that he will be sealed away in the depths of the Everfree Forest until such a time as we can eliminate him.'"

"Goddess, they couldn't even kill this thing? That either makes it the biggest badass this side of Equestria, or makes Celestia the biggest weakling" Strong Spear commented.

"There's an addendum here, hoofwritten by Celestia herself and attached on a separate sheet of paper... 'I will never forgive the Leviathan for what it did to Luna, but then again I would've never forgiven it for following me all the way to my new planet and fighting us. When Luna returns I will have to either explain it to her as gently as possible or keep it a secret from her forever, but I have decided to let the Leviathan of the Haro live. This is not for any of the aforementioned reasons, but rather for personal ones. The Leviathan maybe be my worst enemy, and did something so unspeakable to Luna, but in a strange way...I respect him. He fought with courage and honor, and a tenacity that shows he would gladly give his life for the good of the Empire. I hope my own integrity at keeping him alive does not return to haunt me.'

'-Princess Celestia.'

Rifling through the box Shining noticed several papers were missing, and could not find any other reference to what the Leviathan did to Luna or Celestia. There was one small note crumpled on the side, which had barely anything written on it.

To: Her Royal Majesty Princess Celestia
From: Captain Mighty Blast
Subject: URGENT

The Leviathan is still alive.

"I want to find this 'Leviathan of the Haro', and soon" Shining declared.
