(Silver P.O.V)

I woke up, blasting out of my bed and under the bed frame. I curled up under there and began to pant, completely afraid about what had just happened. I closed my eyes as years fell onto the floor under the bed.

I now heard the door open and I went silent, curling up into a smaller ball.

"Kid? Kid where are ya?" Blitz's voice came as he walked around the room. He walked up to the side of the bed and curiously looked under it. My hood was up and my back was faced towards him. "Hey kid, you alright?"

No response.

"Kid you gonna come out?"

Still no response. Blitz got back up and left the room for a minute, then a minute later several pairs of footsteps were heard down the hall. But only one managed to make it in the room. I could see who it was but all of a sudden I was lightly dragged out from under the bed. I covered my head with my hands as a light hand shook my side.

"Hey, you okay?" Hero's voice came. I quietly turned over to look at him, and I sat up as I wiped my tears with my sleeve. He quietly hugged me as I continued to sniffle. "What happened?"

"I-I-" I tried to talk, "I had this dream a-and I-I, S-Sapphire was-was there and-"

Hero gave a solemn nod, "I understand, you don't have to explain further." I quietly nodded and sniffed again. He stood up and brought me out into the hallway and began to walk down past the kitchen. Topaz and Blitz quietly followed behind. "We might have to start earlier than we thought."

"Not already!" Topaz exclaimed. "This is going too fast!"

"I know," Hero nodded. "I just need to keep training for now, make sure she's ready."

They nodded and split off from us.

"Your close," Hero nodded. "Draw it back a bit further, it won't break."

I began to pull the string back a bit further on the bow,

"Okay, release now." Hero nodded. I release the string and the bow flew to the target, just missing the center.

"Ugh, dang.." I sighed. He came over and gave me a light pat on the back,

"It's nothing to worry about, you're still just starting. But I think you're okay with that. Now lets go back to swords, we need to make sure you're ready for any weapon you get," Hero nodded.

"But what about those gloves and suit thing I have?" I asked.

"Two gems fused to make you. You'll obviously have side weapons, and you've already found your two," Hero explained.

"Um, okay." I responded with a nod.

"You gotta keep your stance wider," Hero lightly grabbed my elbow and moved my leg. "If you want to defend and hit your enemy's weak spot you need to have a wide stance."

"Right, right?" I nodded, gripping the sword in my hand.

"Be careful with your thrusts too, it can leave a weak spot for you. If you ever have two of these you need to make sure each of them have an even weight and they have some sort of..." He paused. "Beat or Harmony."

"Balanced, right?" I asked. Hero gave a smile and nodded, walking across from me, putting his sword against mine.

"Left foot, right foot," He spoke, "Remember that motion, you're already getting it, how about a little faster? Backwards."

I did like he said, glancing back a few times.

"Eyes on your opponent, looking back is causing you a disadvantage," Hero spoke up, forcing me to look right at him.

Faster. Faster it went.

At one point if there was a small slip up and it would be all over. Back and forth, up and down. It was all hard to process for a beginner, our swords kept meeting at the same spot.

Finally, from that one position they slipped, mine on his chest and his on mine. I huffed, heavily breathing.

"Good." Was all he said. I fell to the sand and just sat there. "Tired?"

"Mhm."
