Ghirahim shifted his gaze back to the thin stony path in front of himself. "Careful," Rahzel said straightening the slightly unbalanced demon lord.
"I'm fine," Ghirahim said avoiding the view. He was slightly dizzy and was having trouble putting one foot in front of the other. His legs were shaking at the thought of how far a fall would be.
"You're scared of heights, Ghira?" Rahzel whispered with a giggle.
Ghirahim didn't answer, but gave the woman a glare that said that it was to never be mentioned. "Hey, look at this," Link called. The hero was standing in front of a large skeleton. The demon lord walked behind the Hylian as he inspected the skeleton. "I think this might be the thunder dragon," Link said.
"I didn't do it," Ghirahim answered the accusing looks that Rahzel and Link gave him. "Where is the Triforce piece?" the demon lord asked looking for the gold triangle as far as his eyes could see. The master sword glowed blue and Fi flipped out of the sword.
"I can douse for the piece," Fi offered. "I detect it within the Lanaryu providence."
" Thank you, Fi. That would be very helpful," Link nodded with a smile to the sword spirit. The sword spirit retreated back to the blade. Link unsheathed his sword; its blade majestically reflected the sunlight. Overshadowing the sun, the blade softly emitted a blue light. The hero followed the directions that the blade gave; watching the brightening and dimming of the light. Ghirahim followed the hero as Rahzel slightly limped behind him.
"You can stay here, I'll get the piece," Link said turning to the pair. "You are slowing me down."
Ghirahim narrowed his eyes at the tone that the hero spoke to him. The arrogant little brat thought he could speak to him in that manner. "Fine, go ahead, we'll catch up in a few minutes," Rahzel said interrupting the demon lord's violent response. Link nodded and took off searching for the Triforce piece.
"Why are you letting him out of our sight?" Ghirahim growled turning to Rahzel. His anger now directed to her.
The woman sighed , lowering herself to the ground. "For one, I'm still exhausted from our battle with the fire dragon.," she said closing her eyes.
Ghirahim remained standing watching as the hero entered a cavern on the far end of the gorge. He looked down at the woman who seemed to just to be enjoying the sunlight. She was humming contently to herself. This soft sound echoed throughout the empty cavern. A metallic sound soon overcame Rahzel's humming. Both turned to the source of the sound. Rahzel rolled to the side while Ghirahim jumped out of the path of a mining cart. The cart stopped at the center of the gorge.
"Sorry about that. I didn't know you were on the track," Link apologized.
Ghirahim was about to attack the Hylian and accuse him of purposely trying to kill both of them. Rahzel held her arm out to stop the demon lord's advance. Rahzel muttered to her companion, "Calm down, Ghira. There was no harm done." Ghirahim narrowed his brown eyes when a squawk interrupted the tense atmosphere.
All three looked up to the sky to see a falcon dive from the sky. Ghirahim held out his arm and the bird-of-prey landed on his outstretched arm. "There's a note tied to his leg," Rahzel said reaching out to the bird. The raptor snapped at her fingers.
Ghirahim gently reached out and removed the note. The bird remained on the noble's arm and cocked its head.. The demon lord unfurled the letter. It was hastily written in Vladimir's hand writing. "What does it say?" Rahzel asked all seriousness entering her tone.
"My lord, Demise has found Barteaux . He intends to bring down the island that Barteaux lived on," Ghirahim read. He looked to Rahzel to see her reaction.
"Where's Midna?" Rahzel asked concern evident in her voice.
"Midna's smart. She wouldn't have been caught so easily." Ghirahim answered and turning to offer his aid to Rahzel. The woman pushed herself to her feet easily enough. "Do you know the island that Vlad is speaking about?"
"Yes, we have no time to lose. He intends to bring down the knight academy and all who live on it," Link answered quickly fear peppering his voice.
"May I send a message?" Rahzel asked.
Ghirahim nodded handing the woman the parchment and snapping his fingers so a quill appeared. Rahzel took both items and frantically wrote a message on the parchment. She furled up the paper and handed it to Ghirahim. "Who do you intend to get it?" Ghirahim asked.
"Groose, the one with the hair that you disliked," Rahzel explained as the noble tied the note to the raptor.
"What did you intend to tell him?" Ghirahim asked suspiciously.
"What do you think? I'm telling him what is going to happen. We don't have enough supporters to save all the Hylians ourselves. We need the Sheikah's help."
Ghirahim sighed but sent the bird on its flight. "Then let's revive the Thunder dragon and get the last piece."

Vladimir hung against his restraints watching the demon king traced the edge of a knife with his hands. The bird-like demon tried to avoid looking at the unmoving body of Barteaux, but he couldn't help but noticed how one of the demon's batlike wings laid on the ground at his feet. Nor could he ignore the heavy copper scent that clung to his nose. "I know what you were planning," the demon king's voice boomed pointing with the knife to the corpse behind him. "I honestly expected more from these two, but alas a new order must be made." Vlad narrowed his eyes as the king pointed to the disembodied heads of both Lady Tifunee and Lord Darhel.
"So you murdered the rulers of the other shadow realms," Vlad voiced, " Did you think that the people would bend to your will?" Demise narrowed his eyes. "They fear and hate you. You would never have their loyalty." Demise growled and pulled the bird-demon's head back.
The demon king slipped the cool metal of the knife into Vladimir's mouth. The metal met the sides of his mouth slicing through the flesh slightly before the king removed the weapon. Vladimir spat out the blood that accumulated into his mouth. He would have said that the little wounds that the king gave him was nothing, but the advisor knew better than to taunt the king.
A snap echoed through the small room of tortures. Vladimir clenched his fists as the whip met his back. His face distorted slightly at the pain sending a fiery pain at the wounds at the edges of his mouth. The wounds widened filling his mouth with blood. The advisor spit the blood and closed his eyes. His fear was immense and well as his pain, he told his lord that he would serve him till the end and he would not betray his lord.

Link grabbed the final piece of the Triforce. The power held within the small metal triangle buzzed under its cool surface. "Link," Rahzel's voice called out. Link looked up from the relic to see Rahzel with her arms crossed, "Demise is planning to bring down the knight academy. We need to hurry. Make your wish."
Link pulled out the other pieces and watched as they arranged themselves and they stuck together. He looked from the relic in his hand back to Rahzel. It was tempting to wish the pair in front of him dead, but they were insignificant compared to the massive evil that was his real target. Link closed his eyes and prayed to the three goddesses that Demise could be stopped. A bright flash of light filled his vision even with his eyes closed and the weight in his hands disappeared. The hero opened his eyes to see his empty hands. He thanked the thunder dragon and left leaving both Rahzel and Ghirahim behind.

Groose pulled out the arrows from the target. He tugged on them forcefully until they slipped out. A loud squawk sounded loudly. Groose looked up at the sound and could see a bird circling ahead. The bird dove and Groose rolled to the side sure that the bird was a demon coming to kill him. The bird didn't attack him but landed on the target. It squawked again and Groose noticed that it had a piece of paper tied to its leg. The red-head approached the bird cautiously and pulled off the note. The handwriting was simple, but the message was hard to swallow. Groose dropped the note and ran to the village center to gather the Sheikah warriors to prepare for battle.

Rahzel unsheathed her blade and readied herself to end the dragon's life. The large beast rumbled turning his ancient eyes to her. "You intend to kill me," he stated.
"It is what it necessary," Rahzel answered the ill dragon.
His clear eyelid slid over his eyes. "And why do you believe that is?" he asked.
"You threatened return of his people to the surface," Rahzel answered readying her blade.
The dragon grinned, "I have no issue with the Urlali. As far as I'm concern, Lord Ghirahim could receive his birthright. No beings live here; they would be welcomed company."
Rahzel placed the tip of her sword on the dragon's forehead, "I thought all you dragons hated them."
"Not at all, dearie. I agree with you. What Hylia did was unjust," the dragon rumbled.
"But she was the one who appointed you," Rahzel interrupted suspiciously. The dragon closed his large eyes and reopened them giving the albino a long-suffering look. The albino stared into the wise eyes and could feel her own gaze softening. Rahzel lowered her sword and softly said, "You really mean what you say." Rahzel lowered her gaze feeling guilty that she threatened the majestic creature. "I should thank you for bestowing the triforce piece to us," Rahzel sheathed her blade. She lowered herself to the dragon's head. "I'll be back to heal you," she whispered before getting to her feet. She turned to Ghirahim before leaving the dieing dragon.
The demon lord lowered his head slightly before following the woman. She could hear his footsteps falling onto the sand as he reached her side. They didn't say a word to each other as they met up with Link. The hero nodded his head before leading the way to where the knight academy would fall.

Gabriella crouched in the underbrush that surrounded the clearing that Vladimir had written about in the message he sent her. She could hear the shuffling of the allies that the bird demon had managed to gather. She turned to them and held a single finger to her lips. The motley group nodded and stopped their movement. The she-demon could do nothing but bow her head. This group were not warriors. A part of her told her to run and abandon this insane idea, but her sense of duty held her back. The maid strained her eyes to see the demon king enter the clearing. The demon stopped in his tracks causing Gabriella to follow his gaze.
On the other side of the clearing, Ghirahim and Rahzel stood alongside the hero each looking ready to battle. Gabriella smiled as the first ray of hope appeared.

Groose knelt in the branches high in the trees. His Sheikah friend was in the next tree over. The Skyloftian looked up in the sky to see the dark clouds gathering. Groose looked down back to the demon king and the others. They hadn't moved yet, but stood unmoving. Groose nervously fingered the arrows in his quiver.

Link tightened his grip on the master sword. The hero shifted his weight and Rahzel shot forward. Link could do nothing as he watched the woman stop with a shower of sparks bursting from the colliding swords. The hero could hear Ghirahim curse. "What are you waiting for, hero?" the demon lord said snidely, "The sky is falling."
A/N: I know some of you are worried about Gabriella and Vlad. Maybe if I get some feedback they would live... or maybe not.
