A/N: To the guest reviewer who left reviews recently. I have this to say, thank you very much. They were incredibly appreciated. :-) Now, to respond to some of your comments. First off, about Revan's last name... I'll be honest, I have no clue what the Clan Bloodraven is. Regarding the Sith Code, I always thought that was something that Revan made up after falling to the Dark Side.

The I Rise, You Fall line was actually me quoting Optimus Prime as I often do. For example, when Revan fights Nicole and the others, her, "You'll never stop at one, I'll take you all on!" line was a direct quote of Optimus's line in the Forest Battle before he started beating all three of the cons at once.

As for Venerus not standing a chance against Revan... I'm not going to spoil things that I have planned for later, but let me just say, you haven't seen everything that Venerus can do. He's got a few tricks up his sleeve.

As for the game's not being canon, I was talking about how Disney has said that the only parts of Star Wars that are still canon are the six movies that have already come out. Again, thank you very much for reviewing.

Revan looked around at the large, uneven mountain path they had left the shuttle at, and said, "This is where you lost contact with your team?"
"Yes. We haven't been able to send any search and rescue team in until now because the mandalorians were swarming this place." Carth replied. "What are the chances that they are still alive?"
"Next to none." Revan said, closing her eyes, and feeling the Force around her. "There was a battle here." she added, after a moment.

"How recently?"
"I can't say for sure. But if I had to hazard a guess, I would say that it was around the time the team cut all contact. Many lives were lost in this area."

"How can you tell?"

"Because," Meetra said, "we can sense what happened here. When a battle happens, it can often leave an imprint in the Force around that place. In some of the locations of the large battles from the war with Exar Kun, the Force still hasn't returned to normal."

Carth nodded, while Alek squatted down to examine some tracks. After a while he said, "These tracks are headed up the mountain. Some of the ground looks like it's been dry for a little bit less time than the rest. As if some blood or sweat hit it."

Revan looked at it, and said, "Nicely done. I wouldn't have had you down as a tracker, Baldy."
"It was one of the skills my parents taught me before I was taken in by the Jedi." he replied.

Bastila said, "Do you think it was the Republic troops we're looking for?"
"No. The boot patterns are mandalorian." Alek said, "But they could have been carrying some of the soldiers away. That could be the source of this less dry ground."

"Or it could have been some rain." Carth said. "Do we have anything concrete about who these tracks belong to?"

"No." Alek said, "To both of the things you said. The moister areas are too small and infrequent to have been rain. Even the lightest drizzle would have been more consistent."
"Well great." Selena said. "So what do we do? Bring out the hounds to smell the tracks like it's the olden times?"
"No." Revan said, laughing slightly, "We follow them as far as they go. It's the only hint we have as to what could have happened to the people we're looking for."

"Gotcha. So, lead the way, Baldy." Selena said.

"But don't lead us off the edge of a cliff." Meetra added, "I'm gonna be pissed if you do that."
"That won't happen." he replied, as he started to walk off in one direction.

Bastila said, "Do you think he was serious when he said he'd had time to clear his head?"
"I didn't sense any deception in his words, so I'm going to have to assume that he was telling the truth. If it turns out he managed to trick me, and isn't... well let's just say that it will be a very bad day for him."

"You really need to stop threatening people, Rev." Bastila said.
"I am not going to do anything to him. The Council would." Revan replied. "I get where he was coming from. There's a lot of anger when you learn someone has murdered your parents.'
"For some people." Bastila said.
Revan shook her head, and said, "Bas, you shouldn't be so angry with your mother for sending you to the Jedi. There could have been a lot of things that you either weren't told or didn't notice because you were so young."

"You don't know my mother." Bastila said, her voice turning harsh.

"I may not know her, but I have difficulty believing that any mother would give away her child out of some sort of hatred. I have a hard time imagining anyone doing that to their children."
"Because you haven't met her." Bastila said.

Revan sighed, and said, "Bas, even if your mother is like that, it doesn't do you any good to hold onto an old hatred. I know it's a broken record, but that's the kind of thing that can lead to you falling to the dark side. To make so that instead of drawing from either only the light side, or drawing from both, and being enslaved by the dark."

"I know... it's just hard."
"If doing the right thing were always easy, there wouldn't be any conflict." Revan said, as Alek stopped.

He said, "The trail gets a bit muddied here. The group split up into two paths."

Revan was silent, then said, "Do you know anything that would say which path has our people?"
"There's nothing to say for sure. It could be either one."

"Or it could be a trap." Carth said. "The mountain starts to get covered in trees around here. Providing plenty of shade for their cloaking tech."
"A valid point." Revan said, as she scanned the area with the Force. "If there's a trap, I can't sense it. And, I can't think of any disruptor technology that would affect my Force senses."

"Who knows what these mandalorians have."
"It could be a powerful Force user creating small isolated disruptions, gently pushing your senses away from the mandalorians." Meetra suggested, "If there are any mandalorians down either path."

As if to prove that there were mandalorians in there, five blaster rounds flew from the trees. Four missed their mark, but one hit Bastila in the upper thigh, making her fall to the ground. Seeing this, Revan turned to the forest and growled, "I'll kill them all." before sprinting towards it, twin blades already in her blades and ignited before the others could react. As she charged more blaster rounds flew from the forest, all focused on the charging Jedi.

She deflected every shot that came her way, and when she reached the edge of the trees, she bounced off of an invisible barrier. A moment later she had recovered, and instead of walking away from the barrier, took in an enormous amount of Force energy, and pulled everything on the other side towards her.

And, a moment later, fifteen mandalorian warriors flew out of the barrier. They seemed shocked for a moment, as Revan charged one, and severed his head before he could react. She was about to turn and strike another when Alek jumped on him, and broke his neck.

The Knight nodded at the Padawan and said, "The one in red is mine."

"Got it." Alek replied, as he drew his lightsaber, and deflected a strike from a mandalorian in blue armor.

Meanwhile, Meetra ran over to Bastila, and said, "How're you doing?"
"It hurts." Bastila said, pointing at the wound. "I don't think I can stand up."

"I'd advise against it." Meetra said, turning to look at the battle. Revan had just stabbed one mandalorian on her violet lightsaber, and cut one to her left in half with the blue. "Looks like Revan and Baldy are putting up a good distraction. None of those mandalorians are even checking this way." Meetra said, as her hand hovered above the hole in Bastila's leg, a faint blue glow beneath it, as she mended the skin and muscle that had been damaged.

-=0=-

Carth stood there, stunned at the two Jedi who had charged a group of mandalorians who had started firing from concealed positions. He watched in awe as the two deflected any attack the mandalorians would throw their way. It looked like they knew exactly where the mandalorians were going to attack an instant before they struck.

As Revan deflected an attack headed towards Alek, she kicked a mandalorian in the stomach, sending the attack he had been aiming at her off course, and causing him to stab one of his comrades in the side.

Then, as a mandalorian pulled out a heavy repeating blaster, and was about to open fire, the female Jedi threw her sapphire blade at him. It flew through the air, and imbedded itself in the man's skull.

Carth stood completely still as he watched the Jedi battle. Alek would jump over a mandalorian wearing red armor, pushing the man down with his hand which wasn't holding a lightsaber to stab another soldier behind him.

Then, the red one was the last mandalorian standing. And, as Revan approached him, the look in her eyes one of pure hatred, he started to back away, but found his escape route blocked by Alek, who just looked curious.

He attacked the Jedi, but found himself pulled towards Revan by some unseen Force ability. He turned around, to see a furious Jedi Knight looking him right in the eye. She then kicked him to the ground, and placed her violet blade to his neck.

-=0=-

Revan glared at the man on the ground before her. She said, "You shot the one person who matters more to me than anything else. The only person in the galaxy who I would sooner kill myself than even risk hurting. The only person who when I see her get even the slightest scrape because of someone else, I have to resist the urge to slam them into the ground. You put a hole in her leg. So, let me just tell you this. You are going to die a very slow and very painful death. I'd appreciate it if you kept your screams to a minimum."

"Your Order forbids such actions."
"This isn't me being a Jedi. This is me being someone who just saw the person they love severely injured. There will be no mercy for you." Revan said, as she severed both of the man's arms in one deft movement.

He glared at her, as if daring her to go further, and she struck again. This time severing both of his feet. Then, she moved her blade slowly up his side, melting his armor slowly. Then, she stabbed him in the chest.

He laughed at her, and said, "That is the best you Jedi can do? This is a walk in the park compared to my first day of training."
Revan glared at him, and stabbed him again, this time lower. He continued to laugh and said, "What do you want? To hear that you're causing me the worst pain I've ever felt?"
"I don't want to hear anything. I just want to see you die."
"Or do you want to hear that I'm sorry I hurt your girlfriend?"
"She's not my girlfriend." Revan replied, as she stabbed him yet again.

"The only thing I regret about shooting her is that it didn't end her life."

As the words left his mouth, Revan severed his head with both her violet blade and the sapphire one she had previously recovered. Then, as life left his body, she continued to butcher his corpse. Her blades moving so quickly that it didn't even cauterize the wounds, and blood began to flow profusely.

As she struck him, her weapons a blue and purple blur, Alek stepped away, horror clear in his eyes.

-=0=-

Carth's jaw dropped, as Revan began to just cut the corpse of the mandalorian into progressively smaller pieces. He turned to Meetra and said, "Is she always like this?"
"No. Even when someone's putting Bastila in danger she doesn't do this. He must have said something that really sent her over the edge." Meetra said, as she finished healing Bastila's leg.

Bastila said, "She's really upset. Just before Rev cut off his head, she did something that seemed to make her snap. Through the bond I felt her just lose control. Before there were a plethora of feelings and emotions. Now... all that's left is anger and fear."

"If she's that unstable, we can't have her working with us. She might attack our own people just as soon as she would attack the enemy."

"She's protective of Bastila." Meetra said. "I'm pretty sure that she'd do anything to protect her. She may see this as necessary."

"She's getting covered in that guy's blood. Lightsabers are supposed to cauterize instantly, right?"
"It takes a small fraction of a second, yes. But, if she's moving the blade fast enough, the guy would still bleed."
"Is it safe for me to stand?" Bastila asked.

"Yeah, you should be fine." Meetra said, "I healed the wound so you shouldn't even scar."

"Good." Bastila said pulling herself back onto her feet, "We need to pull Revan away from him. Otherwise we're going to have a very big mess."

"I think either way we're going to have an enormous mess." Meetra said, looking at the area around Revan.

"We'll have an even larger one." Bastila said, starting to walk towards Revan.

"Be careful, Bastila. Don't want to get caught in the crossfire of one of Revan's sabers." Meetra said.

"We'll be fine."

"We?"
"Do you want to have to explain to the Council why Revan atomized a mandalorian soldier?" Bastila asked.

"Not really."
"Then you're going to help me get her away from what little remains of him."

"Alright." Meetra said.

-=0=-
Revan continued to cut at the man, but as she cut him continually smaller, her strikes began to miss. Then, just as she raised her blades again, her movements slowing down, she felt two hands on each of her arms, and she was pulled away from the man's corpse.

Where once had been a mandalorian soldier in full battle armor, now there was an enormous pool of blood and a large number of blue and red scraps floating in it. Revan looked at it, and a second later a massive bolt of lightning fell from the clear sky, and vaporized what little remained of the mandalorian.

She let out a sigh of exhaustion, as she heard Bastila say, "Rev, what's wrong?"
And Meetra add, "You're acting way more psychotic than usual."

The Knight sighed, and said, "It's nothing."
"You just vaporized a guy, Rev. That isn't nothing."

"He deserved it." Revan growled.
"What did he say that terrified you so much?" Bastila asked.

"Nothing." Revan lied, "Can you two let me go, you don't have to get that bastard's blood on your hands."

"Maybe you should have let your lightsabers cauterize the wounds, instead of moving them through his limbs so quickly that he still bled." Meetra suggested, a smirk on her face.

Revan said, "Wasn't really my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh or even two-hundred fifty-seventh thought."

"You weren't really thinking, Rev. Just, cutting him up." Bastila said

"He needed to die. There needed to be nothing left of him." the Knight replied.

"Why? Just because he shot me in the leg?"
"Because... he missed his target. He was aiming for a fatal shot."
"We're fighting a war, Revan. It wasn't personal."

"I know that. But, that doesn't change the fact that he wanted to kill Bastila. The last bitch who wanted to before him used to be my best friend and I still killed her."

Carth then said, "You are completely insane."
Revan looked at him, and said, "Maybe."

"You don't have any issue with the fact that you just completely ruined any chance you have of actually joining this war?"
"I don't see how my actions would affect that."

"You showed that you are not mentally stable. You cut that mandalorian up so fine that most people would have thought you were making a really red soup."
"He wanted to kill one of the people who I care about the most. And, in case you didn't know, most of the time when someone with a Force Bond suddenly loses their bondmate, they die too. The mental shock of such an intimate bond being severed suddenly just fries their brain."
"Still, you could have just killed him. You didn't have to butcher his corpse."
"Onasi, what would you do if someone told you that he wanted to murder one of your best friends?"

"I'd be angry, but I wouldn't let it control me. And, you're a Jedi. You aren't supposed to feel anything."
"The insistence on feeling nothing and ignoring any kind of romantic relationship will either be removed or cause the fall of the Jedi Order. I don't make a policy of following rules that are idiotic."

"You don't see any issue with what you did?" Carth asked, looking at the blood-soaked warrior.

"I got myself a bit dirty." Revan said, looking down at her robes. "Is there a lake around here I can use to get all this blood off?"
"You don't see any issue with losing control?"
"I probably shouldn't have. But, that doesn't change what has already happened. I butchered that guy, there's no point in dwelling on it."

"Doesn't that make you vulnerable to falling to the dark side? If you can't keep control of your emotions?"

"It was a momentary lapse brought about by the fact that someone I love," Revan said, quickly adding, "like a sister, being threatened."

"Wow..." Meetra, Alek, and Selena said, with Meetra saying, "She's not going to be able to avoid letting the truth slip before Bastila's eighteen."

Revan glared at them, and said, "We can argue about this later. First we need to find a body of water and the missing team."
"The map says there's a river about a third of a klick west of here."
"Sounds good."
"But, the water's moving way too fast." Carth said, "You'll be pulled under."

"No I won't." Revan said, "You saw what I did to those mandalorians,, do you really think some water can beat me?"
"When it's moving this fast, yes." Carth replied.

Revan laughed, and said, "Please. I'll jump in, get the blood off, and jump out. It'll only take like ten seconds."
"How are you going to jump off water?"

"I'll figure that one out when we get there."

"Tremaine, are you secretly suicidal?"
"No, my suicidal tendencies are anything but secret. Didn't you hear about how I was going to space myself shortly before Taris?"
"No."

"Well, I was about to make the jump out the airlock when I was interrupted." Revan said, "And, I'll be fine. This won't be the first time I've done something stupid and been fine."
"Do you even know how to swim?"
"I'm a Jedi. If you can't swim, you can't become a Padawan. It's one of the skills they teach the younglings so that they can handle most situations they'll encounter as Jedi."

Carth sighed, and said, "If you die on my watch, I am going to be in massive trouble."
"Rev will be fine." Meetra said, "If rapids could have taken her out, I'm pretty sure she'd be dead by now."

"This way." Revan said, heading west.

Bastila walked over to Revan and asked, "Rev, promise me you'll never do what you did to that mandalorian again. To anyone."
Revan looked her in the eye, and said, "I won't do it again."
"Good." Bastila said. "Who knows what you could catch from doing it."
"Yeah, I didn't think about that. I'll have to have a doctor check up on me. Make sure I'm fine."
Meetra laughed, and said, "So, when do you think they'll announce the engagement?"
Bastila slapped the older woman and said, "You are making erroneous assumptions."
"Ouch. Revan, quit controlling Bastila."
"I didn't do anything." Revan replied, as she stepped around a tree, to see the river. "Excellent. I'll be back in a second."

"Be careful." Carth said.

"I'll be fine." The Knight replied, as she dove into the river. A few seconds, and a hundred feet, later, Revan jumped out of the water, and landed on a small patch of grass. She nodded at the others, as she walked towards them.
"So, do we have anything that might indicate where the others are?"
"I'm guessing on the other side of that barrier you bounced off of." Selena said.

"We'll have to find a way through it then." Meetra said.
"Piece of cake." Alek said. "We take our sabers to it, and cut a hole in it."

"It isn't that simple." Revan replied, walking towards the barrier. When she hit it again, she said, "We might be able to use the Force to create a distortion in the field that we can get through."
"Do you have any idea how to do that?" Bastila asked, her voice skeptical.

"Give me a minute, and I'll figure it out." Revan said, examining the air in front of her. After a while she said, "Okay, I can't get anything about the structure of the energy field. So, our only option is to blow this up."

"With what explosives?" Carth asked.

"Bastila, Meetra, and I can take care of it." Revan said, "You know what to do."

"What about me?" Alek asked.
"You don't know this technique. And, I don't want Vrook to cut my head off."
"You did beat him." Alek pointed out.

"There's a little thing called the element of surprise. If he had that, I wouldn't even stand a chance." Revan said. "Anyways, let's put a big ass hole in this fucking barrier. Baldy, do what you can to tell if we're doing anything to it."
"Will do." he replied.

"What about us?" Selena asked, pointing at herself and Carth.

"Stand back." Revan said.

"What am I supposed to be doing?" Bastila asked.

"Do you remember the technique I showed you in the crystal cave on Dantooine when we were dealing with the terentatek?"
"Yes."

"Well, use that." Revan replied, "Make it as big and potent as you can without wearing yourself out."

"Got it." the Padawan said.

A few minutes later, Revan, Meetra, and Bastila threw the Force Bombs into the barrier. As they detonated, releasing an enormous amount of energy, a hole appeared in the forest, as it shimmered for a moment, then Revan said, "I can make out the composition a bit now. We may not have put a hole in it, but we did something just as good."

"Do you know how to open it up?" Carth asked.

"It'll be the easiest thing I've done on this planet." Revan said, reaching out with the Force. A few seconds later, a shockwave shot out from the forest, knocking the group over. "The barrier is down." Revan said, walking forward. "Keep your eyes sharp. We don't know what we're going to face in here."

"We know how to do our jobs." Carth said.

"You can never be too cautious." Revan replied.

"I suppose so."

-=0=-

"Mandalore our security systems on one of our forward outposts in Republic space has recovered some interesting data." a mandalorian said.

"What?" the leader of the mandalorians asked.

"The Jedi who dual wields lightsabers, the one who managed to save the Republic fleet over Cathar, has been caught on video. We cannot make out her face, there is too much blood obscuring it."

Mandalore looked at it, and saw Revan butchering a mandalorian. "What caused her to lose control like this?"
"This soldier fired on another Jedi, Mandalore." the ensign said, highlighting an image of Bastila.

"I see. Now we have a face to go with the name. Have that Jedi captured. With her as a prisoner, the only threat to our cause will be removed."
"As you command, Mandalore. I will make this woman our number one target for capture."

"Make it so." he said. "And find a clear image of this Revan's face."
"Of course, Mandalore."

-=0=-

Revan stared at the corpses of the Republic soldiers, and said, "We know what happened to your team. We have to finish their mission."

"They were a recon team." Carth said.

"There is a mandalorian facility in this area. If we destroy it, it will weaken their efforts in this region. It will put the hole in the mandalorian defenses that this team was looking for when they died. We can either act now, or let their sacrifices be in vain."
"We're a search and rescue unit."

"We found who we were searching for. Now the mission parameters have changed. This isn't a search and rescue mission anymore. Now, it is search and destroy."

"We have orders, we follow those in the military."
Revan looked him in the eye, and said, "I get that you have an issue with me because of what I did. You think that I'm a loose cannon who will put the unit in unnecessary danger. But, that is the opposite of the truth. No matter where I lead you, so long as I am present it is the safest place in the galaxy."
"You're arrogant and have no respect for the chain of command."
"Maybe I'd have more respect for it if your precious chain of command hadn't deigned my homeworld unimportant. If it had decided that maybe there should be some soldiers protecting my home. So that in the event of a raid it wouldn't be a massacre.

"Maybe, Onasi, if your people had given two shits about mine, we wouldn't be in this situation. Maybe if they had actually cared, they would have kept the mandalorians from getting to the point where they are an actual threat."
"We wouldn't be in this situation if the Jedi Order hadn't decided to stay out of the war."

"I'm not the Jedi Order." Revan said.

"You say that you're going to have to wait at least ten months to join the war effort in full."
"Because I have to prove to the rest of the Order that I do not care more about revenge against the mandalorians for what the Republic let them do to my family. The Dark Lord of the Sith cared more about the people of Deralia than the Republic."
"Revan!" Meetra said, "You don't fucking mean that."
"At least he helped some of us." the Knight growled.

"Yeah, and the one he saved tried to kill you, and she was going to kill Bastila. Or have you forgotten that?"
"I haven't." Revan sighed.

"You need to relax, Revan." Meetra said, her voice soft, "You still haven't fully recovered from what happened. You're on the edge, and are starting to lose your balance."
Revan took a deep breath, and said, "You're right. Carth, I apologize for the harshness of my words. It was not as if you were the one to give the orders that led to the fall of Deralia."

"Maybe you need to get your head on straight before you consider doing any search and destroy operations."

"I'll be fine. Combat focuses me."

"I don't know..." he said.

"Rev will be fine." Bastila said. "She's just stressed, that's all."

"Are you sure?"
"Yes." the Padawan replied.

Revan chuckled, as she thought, 'What I'm feeling for you is what's stressing me out the most. Force, why couldn't you have been almost an adult the first day we met, so that this wouldn't be so complicated.'

"What's so funny?" Carth asked.

"Nothing, you would understand."
"Do you Jedi have a class about talking cryptically?"
"No." Revan said, walking down the path, "It's just something that we learn from dealing with the Jedi Masters who won't give you a straight answer ever."

"Great." Carth said, "That sounds like a vicious cycle."
"It is." Revan said, as they continued to walk through the forest. Then, the Knight said, "You've got to be kidding me. Really, mandalorians? Twenty-eight turrets?"
"What?" Carth said, reaching for his pistols.

Revan caught his arms, and asked, "Do you want to get us all killed? Any aggressive movements and those turrets will come online and open fire."

"They're already online. We just aren't having them fire because we have orders." a mandalorian said.

"And what would those orders be?"

"That we take your comrades prisoner."
"You mean you were ordered to take Bastila prisoner because Mandalore believed what Richard said about me wanting to sleep with her."
"That would be correct." the mandalorian said.

"There is no way that I am going to let you do that. I would sooner sacrifice myself than let anyone hurt her. If you try to take Bas from me, I will kill you."
"And our turrets will kill you." the man replied. "And we promise you that Shan will be treated well until you have done what we want you to. Then, she will be returned to you."

"Yeah right. You think I don't know how you mandalorian animals work? You're slavers, you'd sell her on Nar Shaddaa in less than a minute if you had her. And, I'm not going to let you do that."
"Mandalorians do not support slavery. The first Mandalore was a slave before he killed those who believed they could own him. It is a fundamental part of our beliefs that slavery is unacceptable."
"Do you expect me to believe that?"
"If any of us were involved in slavery and it was discovered they would be exiled. We do not believe in it."

"What about Marthan? I know for a fact that he sold at least one person into slavery on Nar Shaddaa. That he led raids on several worlds."
"There are many Marthan Ordo's. We can never know who that is specifically."

"That's fantastic." Revan growled, "So, why don't you turn off those turrets and drop any weapons you may have on you before we destroy you and the turrets?"
"How?"
"You may have heard how Jedi have abilities. Some of those abilities include really powerful electromagnetic pulses that can penetrate any shielding yet devised by science." Revan said, as she clenched her fists.

"Do you really expect me to believe that?"
"Skeptical? Fair enough." Revan said, as she raised her arms, and released her fists. Then, dozens of beams of energy flew from the center, and when a beam connected with a turret, an explosion followed. "Now your turrets are out of the equation. Surrender, mandalorian."
"Never. I will fight you with dignity and if I am victorious I will earn the honor of having defeated the greatest warrior the Republic has to offer." The mandalorian, said, drawing his lightsaber.

Revan laughed, and said, "I won't even need to draw my weapons to kill you. With the Force I could just crush your medulla oblongata. Or, if I felt like being more cruel I could let you live as a brain dead vegetable for the rest of your life. If I felt like it I could crush your heart without it even really trying.
"Or, I could go the more traditional Sith route, and just choke you to death. With my mind."

"Do your worst?"
"Do you really want to be turned into a huge ass pot of mandalorian soup?" Revan asked, cracking her neck. "Because I'd rather not have to deal with washing off your blood too."

"You are really psychotic for a Jedi."
"I just really don't like you mandalorians. And, the choice is yours, do you surrender, or do you die?"
"I'd sooner die than give in to you." the man replied.

"Fine." Revan said, and an instant later the mandalorian fell dead to the ground.

"So, did we find the mandalorian base?" Carth asked.

"Of course." Revan said, pointing at the ground. "It's beneath the surface. A natural defense against our firepower."
"So, how do we take care of it?"
"We don't." The Knight sighed, "From what I've been able to gather, it's a massive facility. Miles in every direction. It'll take a larger attack force than us to clear it out."
"Great..." Carth said. "So, what do we do now?"
"We head back to the fleet and report to Admiral Karath." Revan said.

"Got it." he said.

Then, Bastila said, "Rev, we're really heading back to the fleet?"
"Yeah. Nothing more we can do at the moment." the Knight replied. "Why? Is something wrong with that?"
"I just thought you'd want to make sure that this is the best move to make." Bastila said.

"It is. There's too much territory for us to handle. And it looks like the mandalorians now want to capture you. So you're taking the first ship back to Coruscant."
"Revan, I can take care of myself."
"I know that. But... I'll just sleep better knowing for sure that you're safe."
"Ah yes, because I'll be safer on Coruscant where there could be any number of mandalorian agents than here where you are close enough that if anything does happen you could be able to get to me in a few minutes." The Padawan said.

"From Coruscant you can go back to Dantooine where you'll be safe."

"What if Venerus's people come after me to get to you because of the bond?"
"I have a feeling that he won't be a problem." Revan said, "I think that whoever Kreia would go to for help is the only person in the galaxy that Venerus is afraid of."

"Rev, I've already spent most of my life running away from danger because no one has believed that I could take care of myself. You were the first person to ever show any kind of confidence in me. And now, you're saying that you don't trust me enough to not get captured by the mandalorians."

"It's not that I don't trust you. It's that I worry that if you are captured, I won't be able to keep myself from doing things so horrible that you'd never want to see again."
"Do you really think that you could do anything worse than what you did to that mandalorian just an hour or two ago? That hasn't made me run away. And, that won't be an issue. They won't capture me. I'm skilled enough to take care of myself."
"Even the most skilled can get unlucky." Revan replied.
"Do you really want me to leave?"
"I want you to be safe." Revan replied.

"Do you think that I'll even be able to sleep knowing that at any moment you could die and the severing of the bond could kill me?"
"It'll only be a few days." Revan said.

"Revan..." Bastila sighed, "I'll be fine. You, Meetra, Alek, and Selena will have my back."
"What if that's not enough?" Revan asked, her voice shaky.

"It will be enough. Why are you so spooked that I'm going to get captured?"
"Because I would never be able to forgive myself if I knew that I didn't do everything in my power to keep you safe. If I ever thought that my actions hurt you... I don't even know what I would do."
"Just kiss already." Carth sighed, "You two couldn't be more obvious."

"The reason you are seeing hints of romantic desires between Bastila and myself is that there is a psychic bond between us. It makes us close, but it is merely a friendly relationship. At most it would be familial."

"Right." Carth said, "Shouldn't we be leaving now?"
"Yes." Revan said, before turning to Bastila and saying, "It isn't that I don't think you can't handle yourself, Bas. I just don't want to take the risk that you'll get unlucky."
"I get that. But, Rev, I'll be fine."

"Please don't argue this with me, Bastila. I'm just trying to do what is best for you."
The Padawan sighed, and said, "Alright."
"Thank you." Revan said, "And, it will only be for a few days."
"Okay." Bastila said, as the shuttle from the fleet landed, and the team got into it.

A/N: And so the chapter ends. Thank you very much for reading the latest chapter. If you enjoyed it please leave a review/follow/favorite. All three are greatly appreciated. Also, I'm still hammering out some kinks I'm having with the game because my pc is... not the greatest, but I'm strongly considering doing an event-thing where I play Titanfall with reviewers on pc. (I'm usually pretty good at the game. Albeit sometimes I have bad days.) So, that would be a fun way to hang out with you guys. If you review. And, also you'll have to have Titanfall on PC, obviously. I'll work out a concrete date on it when the time comes. But, with luck I'll have it set up so that within a week or two of this chapter going up. But, I won't make any promises other than that it will be done before Titanfall 2 comes out, it will be on PC, and that it will be a fun time to hang out.

So, thanks for reading, and please leave a review. Even if you don't have Titanfall on PC, you'll still get some cool stuff that I'm still ironing out the details of at the moment. But, they'll be cool/fun. :-)
