A strong feeling of relief washed over Gibbs. Ziver was awake the doctors had told him that she would probably never wake up. He had come painfully close to having to bury another of his children. The preliminary report he had heard from maintenance guy at the cemetery was that Tony's grave was destroyed. Of course he was still waiting to hear back from somebody from the headstone company if they could repair it or not. He hated to think about it but when he thought he was going to lose both Ziver and Tony's grave. His plan was to get a double stone for Tony and Ziva. Now that didn't matter Ziver was awake and would hopefully continue living until long after he died. An hour had passed since his girl had woken up. She was now sitting on the edge of her hospital bed holding her newborn son and for the first time in forty-eight hours he believed that she would be OK.

"How you feeling?" Gibbs asked.

"Sore" Ziva replied.

"That's to be expected after a c-section and hysterectomy." Gibbs replied.

"I guess I don't have anymore kids in my future." Ziva sighed.

"They only took the uterus. You still have your ovaries and fallopian tubes. Which means you still have eggs. So a surrogate is possible." Gibbs explained.

"If I have any more kids I think I will adopt. I am just glad that Tony's baby was born strong and healthy." Ziva explained.

"I am glad you will both be OK." Gibbs replied.

"Would you and Jane have raised our baby if I hadn't of survived?" Ziva questioned.

"You and I both know that we would have." Gibbs replied.

"My baby is lucky to have you as a grandpa." Ziva replied.

"I am lucky to have him as a grandson. So what's his name?" Gibbs asked.

"Anthony Jackson Jethro David-DiNozzo" Ziva replied.

"It's perfect." Gibbs replied.

"I was going to name him Anthony Jethro but after Jack died I wanted to honor him." Ziva explained.

"Well I love it and am honored and I know my dad would feel the same way." Gibbs replied.

"I am sorry that I had to miss Jack's funeral." Ziva apologized.

"He would have understood. He was very worried about you. We all were." Gibbs replied.

"Why has everything been so hard lately?" Ziva questioned.

"I don't know Ziver but I wish I could make it easier for you." Gibbs replied.

"You can." Ziva replied.

"How?" Gibbs questioned.

"Help me raise my baby boy. You and everybody else. I need help." Ziva replied.

"You didn't even have to ask." Gibbs assured.

"You guys are too good to me." Ziva replied.

"It's what family does for each other." Gibbs replied leaning in to kiss Ziva on the forehead.

Gibbs found Jane waiting for him in the waiting room on the pediatric floor. It drove him crazy that his son had to spend another four days in the hospital. He took some comfort in the fact that the boy had come through the surgery extremely well. JL was recovering and Ziva was awake the fear and pain he felt two-days earlier was mostly gone. Except for his concerns about Tony's grave that is. Those concerns wouldn't go away until the stone was either repaired or replaced. He shook away the bad thoughts and went back to the positive ones about JL and Ziver. As he made his way to Jane's side. Taking the seat beside her on the little couch.

"How is Ziva doing?" Jane asked.

"She's awake." Gibbs replied.

"She is?" Jane asked.

"Yeah about two hours ago." Gibbs replied.

"That's wonderful." Jane replied.

"It is I had almost given up." Gibbs explained.

"Well I am glad you didn't ." Jane replied.

"So am I Jane. So am I." Gibbs replied.

"How is she feeling?" Jane asked.

"Sore" Gibbs replied.

"Understandable." Jane commented.

"Hopefully she will heal up quick." Gibbs replied.

"What about the baby?" Jane asked.

"He is doing great." Gibbs assured.

"Does he have a name?" Jane questioned.

"Anthony Jackson Jethro David-DiNozzo." Gibbs replied smiling.

"I love it." Jane replied.

"Me too." Gibbs replied.

"He is a beautiful baby." Jane commented.

"I know he is. Speaking of beautiful baby. How is JL doing?" Gibbs asked.

"He is doing great." Jane replied.

"I feel bad leaving him so much today." Gibbs replied.

"Ziver needed you." Jane assured.

"I am glad you understand." Gibbs replied gratefully.

"Do you want to stay here tonight or should I?" Jane asked.

"I will." Gibbs replied.

"OK but I want you to actually sleep tonight." Jane explained,.

"I will." Gibbs assured.

"Promise?" Jane questioned.

"Cross my heart." Gibbs replied.

"OK well call me if you need anything. I will be here first thing in the morning to take over so you can go to the store." Jane explained.

"Deal" Gibbs replied.

Ziva cradled her newborn son in her arms. She had just fed him herself for the first time in his life and now he was sound asleep in her arms. Gibbs was right he did look just like Tony. She couldn't wait to see him grow into a strong and healthy man. Who would look just like his father. She just hoped that he would find a good woman who would make him happy for his whole life and that he would get more time than his father had. Forty-one years was not enough for somebody like Tony. Somebody like him should live to be an old man and die peacefully in his sleep. Not lose a painful battle to lung-cancer. Why did he have to die such a horrible death? So young before he even got to hold his son and namesake.

"Your father was a beautiful and wonderful man. It kills me that you will never get to know him but he did love you very much. Always remember that." Ziva told her new baby.

"Aheh Aheh" Baby Tony coughed.

"That's a funny noise." Ziva commented.

"Aheh Aheh Aheh" Tony coughed before Ziva could do anything else his skin was starting to turn blue and his coughs were turning into gasps.

A/N: Baby Tony is just like his dad isn't he? Hopefully he's as lucky as he is. New chapter will be up soon. Please review and thanks for reading.
