Legends 28
"Hehe, isn't this a fun game?" a flash of pink went past hazel eyes. Movement of his body was restricted due to the rainbow coloured ribbons that tightened with each movement. He could here that battle going on behind him out of view but the fact the he couldn't see why how partner was screaming was the difficulty. Though the real problem was the fact that the next god of this army was a quick ,little, pink ninja in a frilly dress.
Yumi is how she introduced herself. The little girl with black hair that faded into a hot pink was tied into two curled pigtails. Her feet were adored with black Mary Janes and white stockings. Her pink dress was frilled and princess styled with a large black bow tied below her petit chest. Her eyes were large compared to most in a pinkish red colour.
Another yelp of pain from Misty, and he was here tied to a damn tree. He had tried cutting the ribbon, though it seemed indestructible. So here he'd been for probably ten minutes struggling only causing the ribbon to tighten further. "Come on brain think!" Gary shouted to himself hitting the back of his head on the tree bark. The roughness of the nature behind his body reminded him that they had lost Leaf somewhere in the process of running from Yumi's initial attack. "God damn it! I'm useless just standing here!" frustration was present in his voice. His body beginning to freeze over in anger.
The air chilled freezing what it touched, the ribbon that held him froze within seconds shattered as he struggled to move yet again. Upon release he fell onto his knees, letting his body collide with frozen earth. After a moment of letting himself adjust to his freedom, Gary rose to his feet and went to where Misty fought alone against their enemy. With each step the ground beneath him crystalized as the temperature changed drastically. He shifted the raised collar of his long white jacket, the icy blue edge trim shimmering in the sunlight as he did so.
He right hand shit out in a flash. The particles in the air began to freeze into a long sword crystal blue in colour. With the sword in hand the snow white sheath was next to form on his back; though it would likely be unused for the time being.
Landing not far in front of him, the pigtails calmed as Yumi focused her sights on Misty. She had not yet noticed his escape from the bounds she tied him with. Misty noticed Gary walk with his sword spinning around in hand, casually walking towards the battle. Though something was off, his eyes looked as though they were clouded by frost and the air got colder with every step he got closer. He was looking for blood.
Yumi took the distraction as a chance to strike yet again. She shot he hand forward, a dark ribbon stained with red near the sharply pointed edge. Misty notes the attack coming at her, quick to react her mallet formed in her hand changing its shape to a circle that froze over. The ribbon struck shattering the ice but was redirected only grazing Misty's arm.
As the crimson fluid began to run down her arm, Misty raised the water formed mallet ready to strike. "Slice!" with the arm slowly being drenched in red she shot an attack of sharp shaped arc of water towards the Lolita. Dodging quickly as another crimson ribbon was shot her way. The red head began to run at the young looking girl to get a close range attack but just as she was about the launch another water slice she came to an abrupt stop. Red liquid splashing onto her skin.
Ice stained with red, frosted earth looked to bleed. That weapon. Gary's weapon shoved through the girl's core. The ground beneath them was hard as a rock despite the amount of water it had been drenched with. The sword pulled back, dropping the body to the ground lifeless.
He was stained, not only by the blood that now coated his hands and jacket. The guilt that even Misty could feel. It was in his eyes, the frost that once clouded his vision had thawed revealing the tears that now streamed down his face. Though not a sound was heard, he screamed internally for someone, anyone to her his pleas for help. To tell him that it was okay. That is was alright to take the young girl's life away.
Misty brought him close, arms wrapped around his blood stained jacket. The sword was dropped, she could here it break as it hit the ground, the will of is user slowly diminishing away. His hands were wet, sticky and staining her skin, but she couldn't care. Gary's icy shell, surrounding his heart, shattering into pieces before her. She couldn't care that young girl's body laid limp, and that they were standing in thickening blood. All she cared that her friend was safe.
Thr sobbing from the auburn haired boy slowed as Musty rubbed her hand in a soothing motion along his back, the same way a mother soothes her child after he had scrapped his knee. His voice was weak as he tried to speak through the gasps for air. "She…..they…they know… our lives…our families…..sh" his tears grew strong again, though he continued to try to explain what Yumi's dying words to him were. "She killed them…..my parents…she made me see it just now…..Daisy…she she'll hate me..."
"We'll get in contact with Dawn to let the other know what we learned." Misty pulled herself out of the embrace they shared. He hands now on his shoulders looking at him with kind eyes. Gary looked at as he tried to calk back down again, her eyes, she had a stream of water running down her right cheek. The water glistened with the sun light, then another stream on her left side now as well. She was crying as well, the water coming from her teal eyes, it looked peaceful but filled with anger all at once. Her crying face, it was a waterfall, a waterfall just for him. "Your sister, she wont hate you, she has an endless amount of love for you. Hell she is probably worried sick about you."
Wiping his tears, Gary began to try and compose himself. "I killed someone, a girl that looks like fifteen…she already hates me….this just adds to reasons why…."
"She can know what happened to your parents, you avenged them…and if she still doesn't want to talk, ill be your sister. I think that would work, though if that happens you'd be dealing with three other sisters as well…so just try and talk to her, I'll help when the time comes." A small smile began appearing on the young man's face, like a ray of sun in the middle of thr thunder storm.
Far off in the trees, the long haired brunette leaned up against the rough bark. The ground beneath her was frozen, the shattered glass like ribbon layer around the tree. She watched the sight in front of her, the boys heart had melted away into a stream that was holding him together. A hand went over her heart suddenly, "why, why are you hurting?" her voice feint, but to herself. "Damn it Leaf, thus isn't time for more heartache. I can save it for after we win."

"I told you to let him go!" The female voice screamed at the two in front of her. Dawn Was currently attempting to stop the fight between Paul and Ash. After establishing some information on Misty and Gary the. Finding out that May and Drew were fine a loud clashing was heard before a landslide of rocks appeared in front of the trio. The had been lucky enough to hear the clattering as it began to fall and Paul had managed to pull her away in time as she was talking with May at the time.
Since then they had wandered the region trying to reach another city, though they didn't even know their location at this point. Dawn had volunteered to go fly around a nit but both males were against it as she had used so much energy healing lately and that she should rest.
The current moment though, Dawn was using energy just to keep Paul form murdering Ash for something he said. Their earlier conversation while she had been healing May apparently had Ash thinking things and said things would cause Paul to freeze up. Though heaven forbid the would tell her what it was; which just caused her more frustration.
Once Dawn had convinced Paul to set the raven haired male back down on the ground. They had decided to rest up on some armour rock they had spotted not too long before. "Hey Leaf, can you here me?" attempting to get in contact with the one person that she hadn't spoken to that day. Knowing that she had been with Gary and Misty that morning though they lost track of her last she checked.
"Hey, ya I'm here, Gary and Misty won against the forth god…..she wont be a threat any more. I wouldn't suggest getting their attention right now though"
"Oh cool, how'd they manage to keep her down? And might I ask why?"
"Well unlike we had hoped to go for this…..we are truly in a war of bloodshed and death"
It's a short chapter but I feel it would be best left here. Focus mainly on the idea that the Souls didn't want to have to kill but now realize that they do.
I could still use one more OC if anyone has one to share.
