So I've been on holiday for a week and I've managed to go and get burnt pretty badly in some places, but oh well. Hope you like this chapter. Not sure when the next one will be up but I have another weeks holiday so it might be this time next week.

Once the two of them had gotten home Jack had that Sam lay down on the sofa right away, she was still looking very pale after puking earlier. And no matter how much Sam tried to assure him that she was ok he wasn't having any of it and kept insisting that she sat down while and he got her a drink.

She'd given up, knowing that she wasn't going to win this one, and had lain out on the sofa while Jack went and got her a glass of water. When he came back into the room he handed her the glass then lifted her legs and sat down, putting her legs on top of his when he was done.

"So," he began, "Do you fancy doing anything else today?"

"How does vegging out on the sofa sound?" Sam asked in a quiet voice.

"Well that was something I'd never thought I'd hear you say," Jack teased, "But I think that it sounds like a brilliant idea."

Sam smiled at him. "So do you fancy watching a movie?" Jack then asked his wife, absentmindedly drawing shapes on her legs.

"Yeah," Sam replied, "That sounds like a pretty good idea to me."

"What do you fancy?" Jack asked, getting up and heading over to their film selection.

"I'm not bothered," Sam answered, "In all honesty there's a pretty good chance that I'll just fall asleep anyway, I really am tired."

"Ok then," Jack replied before he browsed the films for a moment. "In that case how about we go with this?" he said as he chose a film and put it in.

He didn't show Sam what it was though so she just watched the screen to see what was going to play. When she saw what it was she smiled and then laughed. "I can't say I'm surprised," she stated.

Jack came back over to the sofa and sat down, putting Sam's legs back over his and starting to stroke them lightly again. Sam smiled at him and then the two of them turned their attentions to the screen.

Sam did fall asleep about twenty minutes in, lulled by the low volume of the TV and Jack's gentle hands on her legs. When she woke up she found that the film had finished and that Jack was just staring at her fondly, continuing to stroke her legs as he did so.

"Hey there sleepy head," he greeted quietly, "Sleep well?"

Sam sat up and stretched a little before she nodded. "I did," she answered, "I take it I missed the movie then."

Jack smiled at her and then the two of them feel into a comfortable silence. That silence was broken though when Sam's stomach growled.

Jack looked at her with a smirk and asked, "Is someone hungry?"

"A little yeah," Sam answered, "I guess the fact that I puked up most of lunch has left my stomach a little empty."

"I'm sorry Sam," Jack said leaning across and kissing her forehead and then nose, "I hope this doesn't last long."

"Me too," Sam said, "Because if this carries on for the whole nine months I think it's going to be hell."

"What do you want to eat?" Jack asked as he got up.

Sam made to get up too but Jack shook his head. "You stay here and I'll go and grab you something, then we can eat and watched another film or something."

Sam nodded and stayed on the sofa, although now she was sat up rather than lying down.

"I'd love a sandwich," she said.

"One sandwich coming up," Jack said with a smile, "And I'll make sure that it's something simple don't worry."

Sam smiled back at him and as he headed into the kitchen she grabbed the remote from where Jack had left it and begun to search through the channels for something to watch. She settled on the middle of a documentary questioning whether or not aliens did exist, and if they'd been coming to earth. She wanted something light to watch and it was always fun to see just how wrong people got it.

She'd zoned out by the time Jack came back into the room, carrying a tray which held two plates with sandwiches on, and two more glasses of water.

"Enjoying yourself?" he asked Sam as he put the tray on the coffee table.

"Mmm," Sam replied, blinking a few times before focusing on Jack, "Oh I just wanted something funny to watch and this fit the bill."

Jack smiled at her and then handed her a plate. "Do you want to finish this or shall I put another movie on?"

"Another film," Sam replied before taking a bite out of her sandwich.

Jack nodded and took the remote back off her before he put another movie in.

"What we watching this time?" Sam asked after she swallowed her food and had a drink of water.

"Just wait and see," Jack replied as he sat beside her and picked up his table.

Sam rolled her eyes but then smiled when she saw what it was. "Good choice," she muttered as she carried on eating.

Jack smiled at her and started eating too. The two of them then carried on eating in silence, watching the film. Once they had both finished eating Sam lay down again, still feeling tired, but this time she rested her head on Jack's legs.

He ran his fingers through her hair and drew circles on her skin. Sam sighed and snuggled closer to Jack.

"I love you Sam," Jack whispered as he leant down and kissed the corner of Sam's mouth.

"I love you too," Sam replied, shifting her head so that she was looking up at Jack.

"So," Jack said, "When shall we start thinking about names for our twin surprise?"

Sam was silent for a moment as she thought over Jack's words before she sighed a little. "I know you think I'm being silly but can we wait until after the first trimester?" she asked, "I don't want to have names if we do loose them."

"Ok Sam," Jack accepted, "And I really don't think you're being stupid, I think you're just being a worried mom and I'm not going to go against that, you know yourself better than I do."

Sam smiled at him. "Sometimes I'm not so sure about that," she said, "Sometimes it feels like you know me better than anyone else, myself included."

Jack leant down again and captured her lips in a proper kiss. "I know that you're probably going to want to wait until after the first trimester to do anything but maybe we should make a list of what needs to be done before the babies are born."

"That sounds like a good idea," Sam accepted, "But nothing more than the list until after the first trimester ok."

"Of course," Jack accepted as he kissed her again, "Do you want to start it now?"

Sam sat up and nodded. "I don't see why not," she said.

Sam then grabbed the notepad that was on the table and the pen that was beside it. "So," she began, "What first?"

"Names," Jack answered, "That's got to be the first thing." Sam nodded and wrote it on the top of the piece of paper. "A nursery," Jack then said, "We can change one of the rooms into that between us I'm sure." Sam nodded again. "Godfathers and god mothers?" Jack said his tone more of a question now.

"Yeah," Sam said, "That will need to be sorted eventually. What else?"

"Um," Jack said, "Clothes and baby stuff," he suggested, "But that can wait until a lot closer to the time."

Sam nodded. "We're going to have to make everything unisex Jack," she said, "Since I really do want the sex of the babies to be a surprise."

Jack nodded, "That sounds like a good idea to me, although I'm sure Daniel will give us a lecture on how pink used to be a boys colour and all that."

Sam blinked a few times. "Well it seems like you don't need him to tell him that," she teased, "Looks like you already know."

"Well you pick up things here and there," Jack replied with a smile.

Sam smiled back. "Can you think of anything else for the list?" she asked.

Jack thought for a moment before shaking his head, "I can't for the moment no. You?"

Sam also thought before shaking her head, "I've got nothing."

"Never thought I'd hear you say that," Jack teased as he took the notepad from her and put it on the table, leaving the pen on top.

Sam just stuck her tongue out at him before lying back down, putting her head on his lap. "I think I'll rewind," Jack mussed, "We've missed most of it."

"Mmmm," Sam hummed in response as she closed her eyes, feeling Jack starting to stroke her head once again.
