Inside Airachnid's memories.
The shot echoed through the alleyway. However Airachnid didn't hear it. She couldn't.
She watched as a spray of energon went through the air, some of it landing on her.
But…that was weird. Downpipe fell, yes….but he wasn't shot.
Airachnid looked up at the mech in front of her, and the mechs next to her.
They were looking at someone.
"Hey!" Someone shouted. "Leave her alone!"
She turned to the source of the voice and….. The first thing she saw were those optics.
Piercing blue optics.
She noticed his blaster had recently been fired. She also saw the blue flames on his arms.
It was him.
"Now why did you do that?" Said the mech in front of Airachnid. "We were having fun." He said with an amused tone of voice, like he didn't feel his injured servo that Airachnid's savior shot.
"Who do you think you are?" Asked the white and blue mech with an angry tone of voice.
"My name is Overrev and as I told you. We were just having fun with…" SMACK "…. This glitch."
Said Overrev as he kicked Airachnid close to where her spider arm was ripped out of, letting out a yelp of pain as her vision began to darken.
"AND AS I TOLD YOU!" Shouted the white and blue mech. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" He activated his other blaster and aimed it toward Overrev's helm.
"Calm down handsome." Overrev said in a soothing seductive tone. "Or else I'll have to rip out your spark before having my way with you. Oh….where are my manners?" He suddenly said. "Before we all have our way with you and frag your lifeless frame." He said with a small moan at the end. The other mechs behind him looking at the frame of the blue and white mech with lust filled optics.
Airachnid hung her helm and quietly sobbed as she looked at the frame of downpipe in front of her. Her vision darkening because of energon loss.
Her optics than turned black as she slouched over to her right and laid on the cold ground.
Back in the Autobot base.
Silence.
Pure silence.
Nobody had said anything since Airachnid had first been attacked.
The screen went dark as Airachnid passed out.
Jack stared at the screen with a disbelieving and disturbed look on his faceplates.
Ratchet solemnly looked over at Airachnid with sad dim optics.
Bumblebee was the same. Bulkhead was trying to comfort Miko and Raf as they held each other in silence.
Optimus's helm was lowered, his optics were closed.
He heard a noise and noticed Arcee walking to the other side of the room. He looked over to her as she stood still with her back facing everyone.
Jack noticed her as well and watched her from the corner of his optic before moving over to her.
"Are you okay Arcee?" Asked Jack in almost a whisper.
Arcee looked at Jack with wide optics.
"Y-You have his voice." She whispered.
Jack's faceplates darkened in sadness.
"T-That was Tailgate." She clutched her helm. "You have his voice."
"Yeah." Whispered Jack. "I guess I do. At least he did when he was younger."
"You guess you do?" Asked Arcee. "That's all you have to say to that? Are you kidding me?"
"I don't know why this is Arcee. Even when I died and spoke to Tailgate in the well of the Allsparks, he didn't know. It just happed."
Jack then looked at Airachnid. "But for now we have to be here for her when she wakes up." He then looked back at Arcee.
"Please Arcee. I know you two don't get along for obvious reasons…" He then pointed at the static filled screen. "…But I think now you know why she's like this."
Arcee looked at the screen, than at Airachnid.
She sighed and looked back up at Jack.
He stared right back down at her. "Please Arcee. Just give her a chance when this is all over."
Arcee averted her optics from Jack's gaze and mumbled.
"Fine."
Jack smiled and hugged Arcee. "Thank you Arcee."
Arcee blinked before blushing.
Outside Airachnid's memories.
The blue and white mech stood aiming his blasters at the threats in front of him. He felt deeply disturbed with what Overrev had just said.
"You sick Fraggers!" Yelled the mech.
"Oh please." Said Overrev as he waved his servo in a dismissive manner towards the mech in front of him. "Everybody has a hobby." He chuckled.
The blue and white mech's optic twitched.
Overrev then glanced down at Airachnid's frame and placed his servos on his hips.
"Oh…..huh…I guess she passed out." He grinned. "Or she's probably offline."
He then chuckled and began to look up at the blue and white mech.
"Energon loss will do tha-"
Suddenly Overrev was sent flying through the air by a punch from the blue and white mech.
He crashed through Airachnid's small shack and through the wall of the building.
The other mechs leaped at the blue and white mech with their weapons activated.
Two of them attacked him from the front while the other three got ready to strike when they see an opening.
'Okay Tailgate.' Thought the blue and white mech as he blocked the attacks. 'These guys don't look too tough, their fighting style looks erratic, doesn't look like they were trained.'
Tailgate kicked one mech in the abdomen, which caused the mech to bend over in pain. His helm in the perfect position for one of Tailgate's punches.
The mech flew right into the other mechs.
Another mech charged at Tailgate before being shot right between the optics.
'Four to go.'
Another mech swung his blade towards Tailgate's helm.
Tailgate dodged the attack and shot another mech in the neck that was about to tackle him from behind. The mech fell and grasped his neck as he choked to offlinement.
'Three'
Tailgate then stared down the remaining mech, who was trembling slightly with wide optics as he looked at his offlined companions.
The mech looked back up at Tailgate before feeling something around his chest area.
He looked down and saw a blade poking out of his spark chamber.
Tailgate's optics widened. He almost didn't see Overrev as he plunged his blade into his comrade.
'W-what's up with this mech?' Thought Tailgate, disturbed.
Overrevv nuzzled the dying mech's neck with a small loving smile.
"Why did you hesitate?" Whispered Overrev as he licked and nibbled the mech's neck.
Overrev swiftly removed his blade from the mech's spark chamber.
Tailgate watched with trembling optics as the mech fell to one knee and clutched his wound.
Overrev changed his blade into a blaster and shot the mech in the back of the helm. Much of the gore landing on Overrev.
"I don't like people who hesitate." He said.
Tailgate quickly glanced at Airachnid's frame.
'Scrap! If she doesn't get any medical attention soon…..' Thought Tailgate as he looked back up at Overrev, who was now licking the spattered energon from his servos.
Tailgate looked on with disgust but kept his weapon ready.
Overrev noticed Tailgate's expression. "Aww…. Don't be like that. Energon is Energon. Who cares where it comes from?" He said with a grin and another dismissive wave.
"Shut up." Said Tailgate.
"Don't…" Said Overrev with a dark tone as he raised his index digit. "…tell me what to do."
"SHUT…." Tailgate leaped at Overrev, blade extended, hoping to end this quickly. "…UP!"
Maethelvin - Delight
Overrev side stepped and dodged Tailgate's blade before punching him in the gut. Sending him towards the ally wall. Making a sizable crater as he impacted against it.
Tailgate quickly jumped back onto his pedes and lunged at Overrev, his right servo into a blade.
Overrev began to dodge the attack when Tailgate quickly placed his right pede in front of him and twisted his entire frame around Overrev until his left servo collided with Overrev's helm. Sending him through the wall into the building, in some sort of dingy bar.
The mechs in femms in the establishment were shocked and confused when the maroon mech crashed through the wall. Voices were heard everywhere.
Overrev quickly got up and charged his blasters in rage. His optic was cracked and leaking energon from where Tailgate had hit him. His faceplates in a twisted fury.
"Now…" he said in a calm voice. "…that wasn't very nice."
Overrev stepped outside and…..
'….Where is he?'
Tailgate was gone.
Overrev looked over at Airac-
'…No.' He whispered.
Airachnid and Downpipe were gone as well.
Only the offlined frames of his previous companions were left.
Overrev began trembling slightly before shaking completely.
He clutched his helm as he began to laugh.
Louder and louder.
The mechs and femmes behinds him who were watching the whole ordeal slowly stepped back from him.
Overrev suddenly froze.
He flung his servos outward and hit the wall on either side of him with a snarl.
…
Tailgate was making his way up to the surface of Iacon with Airachnid and downpipe in each of his servos.
He then felt the ground tremble before a snarl filled the air.
'Oh no…' Thought Tailgate through clenched denta.
'Now he's absolutely livid.'
