28; It's You

As the girls left the woods, Henley pulled out her cell phone, sending Isaac a short text, simply saying 'we need to talk'.

He never responded to her first text, not her second one either, but by the thirteenth one, he finally wrote back, agreeing to meet with her. She asked him to meet her at their cabin and after twenty, long, excruciating minutes, he finally wrote back and said he would be there after he was done at the cemetery which gave her a couple of hours.

With the first step of her plan finished, now she had to get everything else ready. She might be overdoing it, but figured it was time to go big or go home. She was going to put it all out on the table and hope for the best.

After leaving her friends, she went to the local retail store and grabbed all the battery operated candles she could find, as well as, a couple of air fresheners, table cloth and a simple pair of sheets.

With bags in hand, she walked into the cabin and smiled when she saw it wasn't as dirty as last time. At some point Isaac had went back to it and cleaned it up, there was now no traces of dust or spiderwebs in sight.

For the next several minutes, she set out all the candles, illuminating the room in a soft glow. She set out the air fresheners, hoping to cover up some of the moldy scent in the old cabin, then placed the new, clean, sheets on the old cot against the wall.

She walked over to the other side of the room where an old table sat, then placed the table cloth over it. She placed her hands on her hips and glanced around the room, feeling like it needed a little more. If she had more time she would hang twinkling lights, but the candles would have to do. She did find a slightly faded vase in a corner of the room and placed it on the table

Now she just needed food and planned to grab a bouquet of flowers from the local gas station near her house. She checked the time and saw there was enough time to run home and shower, which after setting up the cabin she desperately needed.

She rushed home and jumped into the shower, then changed into a white strapless dress, with black chiffon at the bust and a black band at the bottom. After applying makeup and fixing her hair, she saw she had a text from Isaac, telling her he was on his way to the cabin.

She told him to meet her outside and not to go in as she rushed to her car and left her house. She stopped by a small pizza eatery by her house, grabbing a large hamburger and pineapple pizza for them to share. It wasn't the most romantic meal, but it was quick, which worked for her, since she didn't want to keep him waiting for long.

She placed the pizza in the backseat, then drove across the street to a gas station. After parking the car, she ran inside to grab a couple of drinks and flowers. She had a bag in one hand with the drinks and a bouquet of flowers in the other hand as she went to walk out the door.

She glanced over at the colorful bouquet and smiled, she knew she was headed toward corny, but she didn't just want to tell him how she felt, she wanted to show him as well.

Hearing the door open, she raised her head and went to step aside for the person to enter the store until she realized who it was. Her mouth dropped open and the flowers fell out of her hand and onto the floor. Standing right in front of her was Peter with Scott's mother, Melissa, and it was clear to see the two were on a date.

"Are you okay?" Melissa questioned the teenager in front of her.

"I-I... yeah." She stuttered as Peter shot her a smirk before walking over to the cash register to pay for gas. "You're Scott's mom, right?"

"I am, yes." Melissa said with a smile. "Are you a friend of Scott's?" She questioned as she tilted her head to the side not recognizing the girl.

"Sorta... a little, maybe." Henley said unsure how to answer. "I'm best friends with Allison, his girlfriend or I mean, ex-girlfriend... whatever they are. I'm Henley."

"It's nice to meet you, Henley."

"You too." She mumbled as her brain tried to work out a plan to save her. She couldn't let the older woman leave with Peter and be murdered.

"Well, we should get going." Melissa said, when she felt Peter come up behind her and lay a hand on the small of her back.

"Uh, wait, um..." Henley said as she quickly jumped in front of her to keep her from walking away. "You work at the hospital, right?"

"Right. I'm a nurse there."

"Great!" Henley exclaimed as she clapped her hands once. "Because I got this-this problem. I'm... I have a headache. This horrible, horrible headache that just keeps popping up." She cut her eyes at Peter for a moment, before looking back at the older woman. "It's a persistent one, one that won't go away no matter what I say... I mean, no matter what I do. How do I get rid of it?"

"It could be a stress induced headache." Melissa guessed. "Has school or your life been stressful lately?"

"Yes!" Henley called out. "It's been stressed, so so stressed. You know I think... maybe-maybe, I just need to talk it out. I should talk about it, can we talk about it? I think if we went somewhere, like now, and talked about it, that would help out a lot."

Melissa raised her eyebrows at the high strung girl as her mouth opened and closed a few times, unsure what to say back. Before she could, Peter spoke up, giving her a knowing smile as he said,"Or maybe you just need to rest. You know, recharge."

"I think that is your best option." Melissa said. "Go home, take a relaxing bath and if you need it, take an aspirin, then get some sleep. You would be amazed what a good night's sleep could do for you."

"Yeah... but..." Henley tried to say as the couple walked past her. She stood frozen for a moment, trying to come up with a plan B.

She rushed out the door as Peter pulled away from the store. She stood still for a moment, realizing she needed help with this.

She ran to her car, grabbing her cell phone and tried to call Scott. She was too impatient to wait for him to answer after a couple of rings and ended the call. She dialed Stiles' number next, who answered on the first ring.

"Peter... Peter and Scott's mom. Peter and Scott's mom, Stiles!" She called out as soon as he answered the phone.

"Trust me, we are well aware of this." Stiles said as he drove down the road looking for them. "Where did you see them?"

She quickly told him about seeing them at the store and gave him the address. Realizing he wasn't that far away from her, he headed for the store and pulled into the parking lot. She snapped her head to the side, seeing his jeep slam on brakes beside her car.

He leaned over to push the passenger side door open and called out,"Get in!"

Henley grabbed her cell phone and purse, then without thinking much about it, exited her car and jumped into the jeep. She barely shut the door before he peeled out of the parking lot and back onto the road.

Stiles glanced over at her for a moment, seeing for the first time what she was wearing. He did a double take then looked back toward the road. Out of the corner of her eye, she had seen him looking at her, causing her to ask him what he was looking at.

"You... You uh, you look-"

"Over dressed for a high speed chase?" She finished for him.

"Right." He said with a laugh. He looked over at her again, before looking back at the road as he questioned,"Big night?"

"I thought it would be." She said with a sigh. "Now I'm not so sure." She softly added as she turned her head to look out the window, her eyes scanning the traffic, looking for Peter's car.

"I'm sorry." Stiles said sincerely. "I know you want to stay out of things."

"It's okay." Henley said with a shrug. "Normally I would, but whatever he has planned for Scott's mom, it can't be good and she doesn't deserve that. We have to save her."

"Batman and Black Canary." He said with a grin as he nervously tapped his fingers against the steering wheel.

"No... No, don't start that." She playfully warned as she turned to look at him, pointing a finger at him.

The two turned their attention to the road while he asked her if she saw the car yet. She pointed to a side road, telling him to turn down it, she was feeling drawn in that area.

Her eyes scanned side to side as she shook her head, thinking out loud that they couldn't have gotten far.

Stiles blew out a breath and added,"Hopefully we come across them soon. The longer she is with him..."

His voice trailed off, but she nodded her head, knowing what he was going to say. They both knew what he was capable of, which is what she said to him.

"Yeah and I don't think he's done anytime soon." He said. "I was talking to my dad earlier, after plying him with alcohol- which I'm probably going to hell for, but he told me that all the murders so far are connected."

"To the Hale fire." She finished for him.

"Yeah, how did you-"

"I had a little talk with Peter this morning."

"Wait-What? Are you two connected again?" Stiles questioned with wide eyes.

"No, but he wants to be." Henley said back. "He wants to use me to be more powerful."

"Wha- Henley, what the hell are you that you make werewolves, an alpha werewolf, more powerful?"

She let out a small groan, knowing she said too much. "There's more important things to think about right now, like we need to find them!" She gestured toward the windshield as she told him to pay attention.

Stiles shook his head at her poor attempt at changing the subject, but he didn't push her on it because he knew she was right, the most important thing right now was finding Melissa. He leaned forward, checking out the cars around them, then exclaimed,"Wait! I see them! They stopped up ahead."

"Please tell me you have a plan." Henley said nervously as she looked over at him for a moment, then back over at the parked car they were getting closer too.

"Yes..." He said, causing her to shot him a look, knowing he was lying. "No... I'm gonna wing it."

"Wing it?" She asked nervously, her eyes on the parked car. "Stiles, what are you going to do?"

"Hang on." He said instead of answering her.

"Hang on?" She questioned as she snapped her head to look at him again. "Stiles-"

"Put on your seat belt." He demanded.

"Put on my- Stiles, what the hell are you going to do?" She called out as she reached back to grab the seat belt and snapped it on like he said.

Instead of answering her, he kept his foot on the gas, hitting the back of Peter's car, not enough to hurt them or Melissa, but enough to damage the car and ruin their date.

Henley gasped as the seat belt caught her, then felt herself being slammed back against the seat. She turned her head to the side, her breathing labored as she snapped,"Are you crazy?"

"I had to wing it." Stiles explained. He slipped off his seat belt, turning toward her as he asked her if she was okay.

She nodded her head, then turned to look straight ahead and saw Melissa step out of the car looking pissed. She said his name and nodded toward the older woman, he looked in the direction she was and felt his eyes widen.

"We are not okay. We are so not okay." He mumbled as he reached out to grab the door handle.

"What do you mean we?" She questioned as she took off her seat belt. "You're the one who hit the car." She hissed as the two exited the car right as Melissa started yelling at them.

"Oh, are you kidding me? Stiles!" The older woman called out. She caught sight of his accomplice and lowered her eyebrows in confusion when she recognized her as the girl from the store earlier. "Henley, right?"

The brunette nodded her head while Stiles tried to play dumb and acted like he just noticed it was her.

"Mrs. McCall?"

"Yes!" Melissa called out.

"Wow, this is- this is just crazy." He said, dramatically.

"Right, so crazy!" Henley added. "Just a crazy, crazy coincidence. I mean, I just saw you minutes ago and now here we are!"

Melissa let out a sarcastic laugh at the teenagers antics. Henley noticed Peter turning away from them and moving his lips, but she couldn't read what he was saying, she thought she saw him mouth Scott's name though, making her wonder if he was somehow speaking to the teen wolf.

"I mean- I do not know what happened. You guys just came out of nowhere." Stiles lamely explained.

"Came out of nowhere!" Melissa called out. "We were parked on the side of the road, Stiles."

"How crazy is that?" Stiles questioned as he let out a nervous laugh. "I mean, we should probably call the cops, you know, do like an accident report thing."

"Yeah we could call my dad." Henley suggested. She turned to gestured toward Stiles as she added,"Or your dad. Just someone in a uniform will do."

"I don't think that's necessary." Peter said, turning toward them to join the conversation.

"I dunno, I think we should." Henley argued. She pointed toward her head and added,"I have a killer headache."

"I thought you had a headache before?" Peter questioned as he flashed an amused smile her way.

"I did..." She said, narrowing her eyes at him. "And right now, it's worse."

"Yeah, and I think I'm feeling a little whiplash." Stiles added as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Whiplash? You hit us!" Melissa exclaimed.

"I don't know- there's something definitely wrong with my neck." He added.

"There is something definitely wrong with him." Henley said, pointing a finger at him to back him up.

"I won't argue with that." Melissa said sarcastically as she folded her arms across her chest. She had known the teenager all his life, these little antics were the norm for him. He was unpredictable and had a habit of ruining things; just like this date.

•••

In the end, a concern citizen saw the fender bender and called the police. The small group stood around a cop as they each told their side of the story. Everything was chalked up to an accident, Peter even graciously declined exchanging insurances, causing Henley to roll her eyes.

Close to an hour later, the cop took Melissa home while Stiles drove Henley back to her car. He thanked her for her help, then once she was safe inside her car, he gave her a wave before he pulled out of the parking lot to head home, trying to figure out how he was going to explain to his dad about the small wreck.

Hearing her phone go off, she grabbed her cell phone out of her purse and glanced at the new text, it was from Isaac and he was not happy with her.

Seeing how much time has passed since they were suppose to meet, she swore out loud, then quickly started the car and pulled out of the parking lot, heading for the cabin. She parked her car as close as she could, then jumped out and ran toward it, meeting up with Isaac as he began to walk away from the cabin.

"Isaac, stop! Please wait!" Henley begged as she came to a stop in front of him.

"Wait? Henley, I've been waiting!" Isaac exclaimed. "I don't know what kind of game you're playing-"

"I'm not playing any games, Isaac." She interrupted. "I wanted to be here. I am here now."

"Yeah, and just like last night, you're too late." He pointed out as he went to walk around her.

"Isaac, please, just stop." She stated as she grabbed his arm and stopped him. "I feel horrible for missing your game last night and I'm trying to make up for that."

"Is that what all the candles inside are for?"

"You went inside!" She exclaimed. "I told you to wait for me out here!" She had wanted all of that to be a surprise.

He shot her a look and said,"Seriously? You're over an hour late, yet you're yelling at me for going inside?"

"I didn't plan to be late tonight, but something came up-"

"Let me guess..." He began to say with a sigh. He folded his arms over his chest and added,"It had to do with Stiles."

"Yes, but no, Isaac-"

"I don't want to hear it. Henley, I don't want to hear it." He interrupted. He shook his head and blew out a breath as he continued,"I can't do this. I can't do the back and forth anymore. I can't keep getting my hopes up with you. I can't."

"Isaac, what-"

"I'm making a decision. I'm putting an end to all the games. We're just friends, okay?" He said, his heart breaking as he spoke. "Nothing more, nothing less."

"No..." She breathed out as tears filled her eyes. This was not how she thought the night was going to go.

"Now you can do whatever. I'll just be your best friend Isaac and you can- you can be with Stiles or whatever..." He said, his voice trailing off as he walked past her. All he wanted to do was go home and try to get through this heart ache, if it was even possible.

"Stiles isn't who I want to be with, you idiot! It's you!" Henley stated, taking him by surprise. He turned to face her, wondering if he actually heard her right. Then as if knowing he needed to hear it again, she took a step toward him as she softly said,"Isaac, it's you, it has always been you."

A smile appeared on his face at her words, he had been dreaming for years to hear those words come out of her mouth. He saw her open her mouth to say something else, but before she could, he shook his head as he laid a hand on the back of her neck, pulling her toward him before capturing her lips and shutting her up mid-word.

She grinned against his lips and wrapped her arms around his neck, her fingers going into his hair and feeling his silky curls wrap around her fingers. She pecked her lips against his a few times, then rested her forehead against his to catch her breath.

Pulling back to look at him, she laid a hand on the side of his face, softly caressing his cheek for a moment before dropping her hand. "As much as I love kissing you, we do need to talk. There are some things I need to tell you, actually a lot of things, and some of it might-"

"Might what?" He interrupted. "Might make me stop caring about you? Change my feelings for you?"

"Maybe. I don't know." She said with a shrug, hoping that wouldn't happen, but there was a lot of heavy stuff she needed to be honest about.

He held her face in his hands as he looked at her closely. He ran a thumb over her bottom lip and shook his head, then softly said,"Not possible. I know all I need to know about you, Meddy. I've known you my whole life and there is nothing that you can say that will change the way I see you or change the way I feel about you."

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." She quietly said, laying a hand on top of his. She removed his hand from her face and blew out a nervous breath, before adding,"But, I guess we're going to find out."

Without another word, she began to lead him toward the cabin, trying to figure out the best way to tell him everything without sending him screaming for the hills. She felt her hands shake, then felt him intertwine their fingers, he hoped the action would help calm her.

As the two walked into the cabin, Isaac looked around, seeing all the decorating she had done. Earlier when he arrived, he saw a flickering glow and went inside, curious what was causing it. He glanced around for a minute, then went back outside, but now he was seeing everything as a whole and realized how intimate it all seemed.

After looking at the room, he cut his eyes at her, taking in her outfit, the white dress hugged her in all the right places. It wasn't the type of dress you wore to school or with someone you viewed as just a friend, it was a date type dress. It was starting to click in his head that this wasn't just two friends hanging out, this was more. She was laying it all on the line and being honest with him, and he was going to do the same.

"The place looks great." He commented, referring to the room.

"It was supposed to be a surprise." She said. She shot him a joking smile as she added,"But someone ruined that surprise."

He chuckled at her comment, then moved his eyes over her body, from her head to her toes, before saying,"The room isn't the only thing looking good tonight. You look amazing, Meddy."

"Thank you." She said with a smile. "There's pizza in the car, if you're hungry-"

"I am." He interrupted. He shook his head, his eyes catching hers as he added,"But it's not pizza I'm hungry for."

Henley felt a tingle down her spine and a fluttering in her stomach at the look he was giving her. He did look like he wanted to devour her. He grabbed her other hand, lacing their fingers together like their other hand was, then leaned forward and softly kissed her lips.

She let out a chuckle, before pulling back a little, and whispering,"Keep it in your pants, Lahey."

"Hey... you're the one trying to seduce me here." He joked.

She let out a laugh at his comment, then playfully pushed him back, causing him to land on the cot. She placed her hands on her hips as she raised her eyebrows at him and joked back,"As if I have to try that hard."

"You really don't." He said. "All you have to do is stand in front of me, kinda like you are now, and I'm ready to go."

She breathed out a chuckle, feeling a little shy, and placed her hands over her face and shook her head. He laughed at her antics, then reached out to grab her arm, pulling her toward the cot to sit beside him as he asked her why she was suddenly feeling bashful.

"This..." Henley began to say as she gestured between them. "You and me... the flirty banter, it's all new and I-I-"

"Don't like it?" Isaac questioned, hoping that wasn't the case, but if it did make her uncomfortable he would stop it. It would be hard not to flirt with her, but he could do it... he hoped.

"No, I like it." She quickly said, not wanting him to get the wrong idea. She grabbed one of his hands, wrapping both of her hands around it as she continued,"Like I said, it's just new. We've never talked to each other like this before and I don't know- I guess it just all feels like a dream. I mean, for so long, you've just been my best friend Isaac, but a part of me always wanted more, and now here we are."

"I know what you mean." He said with a nod. "You've been my dream girl for as long as I could remember. It's always been you, Meddy."

She smiled at his comment, then brought their joined hands up to her mouth, kissing the back of his hand. She lowered his hand, then asked,"Why didn't you ever say anything?"

"Why didn't you?" He asked back with raised eyebrows, causing her to laugh, realizing he had a point. She was always scared to say anything to him in the past, scared of losing him. Then her worst nightmare happened, she did lose him, for two long years. Once they began to work things out, then she was scared of speaking about her feelings, not wanting to risk losing him a second time.

"All of this..." She began to say as she gestured around the room. "Is my way of finally saying something, finally making a move. I was kinda scared if I just asked you out on a date, you would say no, so I figured this way, you wouldn't have any choice."

"So you're forcing me to date you?" He joked as he turned his head to look at her, a laugh escaping his lips.

"Pretty much." She said, laughing with him.

"You know, I'm no dating expert or anything, but I think first rule of a date is probably being on time." He teased as he shot her a look.

"I know, I'm sorry." She said, leaning forward to rest her head on his shoulder for a moment. She thought back to the reason she was late, she was trying to save Melissa from Peter. She pulled back to look at him as she continued,"That goes along with what I have to tell you."

"So tell me."

"I don't even know where to start."

"Start at the beginning."

"I-I don't know." She mumbled as she stood up from the cot.

"You don't know what?" He asked confused.

"I don't know how you are going to take it." She said as she began to pace back and forth in front of him.

"It's crazy, like really out there crazy, I mean, if I didn't know the things I know or see the things I have seen, I wouldn't believe it! And I don't know if I'm ready... I don't know if I am ready for you to look at me like I've lost my mind. The way my parents looked when I first told them and the way my father still looks at me. The way people at school look at me, and I know I'm definitely not ready to lose you."

She came to a stop in front of him and began to play with her fingers nervously as she continued to ramble,"I just got you back, we just started something, and I'm not ready to lose that. Isaac, I can't-"

"Hey..." He interrupted as he stood up. He laid his hands on either side of her face, forcing her to look at him as he said,"Whatever you have to tell me, I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here, Meddy, and as much as you don't want to lose me, I don't want to lose you either, but I gotta be honest... you're scaring me a little here, so just take a deep breath and start from the beginning."

Henley nodded her head as she did like he said and took a deep breath through her nose, then slowly blew it out of her mouth. She locked eyes with him as she quietly asked,"Do you believe in werewolves?"

"What?" He asked as he took a small step back. Out of all the things that could have come out of her mouth, he didn't expect that.

"Werewolves. Do you believe in them?" She repeated as he sat back down on the cot in thought. Feeling like she had already freaked him out, she figured it was best to get it all over with, like pulling a band-aid. She opened her mouth as everything came tumbling out, everything that has been happening the last few weeks, she left nothing out.

She told him about Scott, explained the few times she got pulled into one of his and Stiles schemes, which explained why sometimes he saw her talking to Stiles privately. She told him about Allison and her family, and how she was worried somehow they knew what she was and how that scared her. She told him about the alpha, which brought her to her biggest secret, she told him what she was.

When she was done, she finally turned her head to look at him, seeing the blank look on his face as he took everything in. She lowered her eyebrows in confusion as she softly said,"You think I'm crazy, don't you? You think I have went completely insane."

"No, no, I just- it's a lot to wrap my head around." He said honestly. He turned his head, seeing the desperate look in her eyes as she wondered what his reaction would be. Did he believe her or would he push her away?

Putting her mind at ease, he reached out to grab her hand and said,"You had me at werewolves, then lost me around fórsa and stored energy."

"I'm still not sure if I completely understand what I am. I'm sure there is a lot I still have to learn, I just don't want to talk to my mom about it right now." She said, still feeling pissed that her mother lied to her all her life and made her feel like she was crazy. "But, you do believe in werewolves? I mean, that part doesn't freak you out? You believe me?"

"Yeah, I mean, I never really knew for sure if they did exist, but I have looked them up before." He said. Seeing the questions in her eyes, he explained,"After you got lost in the woods years ago and saw those eyes and a woman turning into a wolf, I looked up a few things, trying to figure out what it was. I knew it was driving you crazy and I just wanted to find out what it all meant, I wanted to help you. I was never really sure what it was, then you stopped bringing it up and we drifted apart and I didn't really think about it much anymore."

"But then that day at the mall when Logan said he saw red eyes it reminded me of all of that, so I started researching more. I read about werewolves once and briefly wonder if they could be real, but thought that was too crazy to even consider."

"Apparently it's not too crazy." She stated.

"Right." He said, breathing out a chuckle. He ran a hand through his hair, he couldn't believe something he read once, something he thought only existed in horror movies and nightmares was actually real.

Shaking his head for a moment, then getting back on topic. "But then when I found out about your sleepwalking and feeling tired all the time, I tried to find a connect with that and mysterious eyes, but never found anything."

"Yeah, I never knew what all of that had to do with werewolves, until Mom finally told me truth."

"So, if a werewolf connects with you... it takes away all your energy?" He questioned.

"Yeah, but they are really only suppose to take a little at a time, just the amount they need in that moment, and I'll build up more energy for next time." She explained. "But there are some, like Peter- the alpha, who becomes greedy and takes all the energy, which is what drains me and causes me to pass out."

"Then while you're passed out, you build up more energy until you wake up, then you're okay, right?"

"Yeah, but..."

"But what?" He questioned when she paused.

She blew out a breath, trying to find her voice as she quietly said,"If I'm drained too many times back to back... it can kill me."

"What-No! That-That can't be right." He said, his voice cracking with emotion at the thought of losing her that way.

"Unfortunately it is. It's why fórsas are practically extinct." She looked down at her hands, which were rested in her lap as she continued,"If you think about it, it does make sense. I mean, even rechargeable batteries stop charging after a while."

"Hey..." He softly said, grabbing her chin and forcing her to look at him. "That's not going to happen to you. No matter what, I'm not losing you, Meddy."

A soft smile appeared on her face as she leaned forward to rest her forehead against his. Regardless of what did or didn't happen, it just felt good to have someone on her side, to not be so alone in all of this. For so long she had kept him in the dark, but now she had someone to confide in and share her fears with.

She knew Peter wanted to use her again and she had no doubt he was going to keep coming for her, and that thought terrified her. She didn't want to be connected to a murderous alpha again.

Isaac laid a hand on the back of her head and intertwined his fingers in her hair as he repeated his words from before, his voice barely above a whisper,"I'm not losing you, Meddy." His lips brushed against her as he breathed out,"Never again."

No other words needed to be said between the two as their lips connected for a heated kiss. He kept a hand on the back of her head as he laid her back, guiding her toward the mattress, then stretched out beside her. His other hand softly caressed the side of her face, then he began to move it down her neck and over her chest before going down further to rest it on her stomach.

He remembered times before when he went too far too fast and upset her because of her encounters with Alex. This time he wanted to take it slow, let her set the pace and make sure she was comfortable and felt safe with him.

As hard as it was, for the next several minutes, all he did was kiss her, he never once moved his hand, which had began to frustrate her. As much as she loved his lips against hers, she was aching to feel his hands running all over her body. She needed to feel his warm hands touching her in places no one was ever really allowed to touch before.

When Isaac began to kiss across her jaw then down the side of her neck, she rolled her head to the side, giving him better access, then laid her hand on top of his, which was still resting on her lower stomach. She gripped his hand, then slowly began to move it further down causing him to raise his eyebrows in surprise.

She slipped his hand under her skirt as he pulled back to look at her, making sure this was what she wanted. She bit her bottom lip and gave him a short nod, before pulling his face toward her to capture his lips. As the kiss began to heat up, he lightly ran his fingertips across her outer thigh, causing her to release a small moan, which encouraged him to continue caressing her.

What started out as a pleasurable make-out session, quickly took a turn for the worst, when Alex flashed in her mind. She let out a small whimper and snapped her eyes open, relaxing when she realized it was Isaac above her. She closed her eyes, melting into his kiss and letting out a moan as he slide his hand over to her inner thigh, one of his digits grazing her soft, cotton, panties.

When another Alex memory hit her, she turned her head to the side and squeezed her eyes closed, feeling Isaac's lips attack the side of her neck, unaware of the scene flashing in her mind.

She remembered on one of their first dates, Alex had rested a hand on her leg. It had started above her knee, then little by little had crept up until he slipped his hand under her skirt. She had quickly grabbed his hand and jumped in surprise when one of his fingers had touched her for a quick second. He had apologized and swore he didn't mean to do it, yet over the course of their relationship, there were plenty of times he had tried it again until she had stopped him.

Feeling her squirming underneath him, Isaac pulled back to look at her, seeing how tightly her eyes were shut and how labored her breathing was. He removed his hand from under her skirt and lightly touched the side of her face as he breathed out her name, getting her attention. He touched her face again and asked her if she was okay.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay." She said, trying to catch her breath. "I just, I-... you didn't have to stop. I'm okay, it's just-"

"Alex." He finished for her, seeing she was having a difficult time speaking.

She nodded her head, her face falling as she said,"But I don't- I don't want him to ruin this. I don't want him to cross my mind. He can't win. I can't let him win, Isaac."

"You won't." He said, lightly ran his thumb over her swollen bottom lip. "We won't."

"I want this. Isaac, I want you..." She softly admitted. "But it's like, as soon as we get going, I close my eyes and he pops up."

"Then don't close your eyes." He suggested.

"What?"

He leaned down to brush his lips against her, then pulled back to look at her, catching her eyes as he whispered,"Keep your eyes on me, Meddy." He kissed her again, then looked at her as he continued,"I'm here. He's not. I'm not going to disappear."

The two kissed a few more times, until he rolled away from her to lay on his back. He reached out to grab one of her hands and lightly tugged it toward him. Realizing what he wanted, she sat up on her knees and threw a leg over him to straddle him.

He rested a hand on her hip and flashed her a smile as he pointed at her then pointed at his eyes, reminding her to keep her eyes on him. She lightly chuckled and nodded her head in understanding.

Now in total control, Henley laid her hands on top of his, removing them from her hips and laid them on the bed above his head. She laced their fingers together then leaned down to press her lips against his for a gentle kiss. She heard him let out a low groan and felt how badly her actions affected him when she rolled her hips a couple of times.

She had never wanted someone as much as she wanted him right now, which is what she mumbled against his lips, before attacking his lips again.

"You sure?" He whispered, his lips inches from hers. He had dreamed of the day he would lose his virginity to her, but he had to make sure this was what she really wanted.

Instead of answering him, she sat up and kept her eyes on him as she reached back to grip the zipper on her dress. As she lowered the zipper, he sat up to slip his hands under her skirt and began to raise the dress up over her head. He dropped the dress on to the floor, his eyes scanning over the light color panties she was wearing and felt his throat go dry when he saw her bare chest, realizing she wasn't wearing a bra.

He leaned forward to press his lips against her bare shoulder as she reached down to grab the bottom of his t-shirt. He pulled back long enough for her to remove his shirt, then he began to leave light kisses across her shoulder, tasting her skin. He laid a hand on the small of her back, then slowly raised it up to he ran his hand all over her bare back, not being able to stop touching her.

With both of their chest bare, he wrapped her arms around her, pulling her close to him. The two stared at each other for a moment, their chest flushed together, until he reached up to brush a lock of hair from her face. "Henley, are you really, really sure-"

She let out a small chuckle, interrupting him as she said,"Isaac, I'm sure." She ran a finger over his bottom lip, her eyes dropping down to them as she quietly added,"There's not much I am sure about lately, but when it comes to this, when it comes to you... I'm sure."

He nodded his head, feeling his heart swell at her words. He grabbed her legs, wrapping them around him, before he leaned forward to lay her back on the mattress. He hovered over her for a moment, then leaned down to press his lips against her.

She smiled against his lips, for once when she closed her eyes all she saw was Isaac. Because of this night, because of all the love and tenderness he showed her, he was able to take away the bad memories and replace it with nothing but good.

A/N; Woo finally! You have no idea how long I have waited to write this scene, haha.

Question; What song would you all imagine playing while that scene happen? The song 'Incomplete' by James Bay was playing while I wrote the scene and I felt like it fit pretty well, but I was curious what song went through all of your minds.

Thank you to everyone reading and/or adding the story. Also big thanks to Mrs. IsaacLahey14, sarah0406, lilnightmare17, RHatch89, SquidaQdaloo, xxxRena, MsRose91 and C. B. Weasley for reviewing.
