The next few days Minerva kept to herself, she would not read or write any letters to anyone. She was so lost and confused that she was even dodging Severus when she seen him coming towards her. The thing that she hated the most was the fact that she was shutting everyone out, but they all seemed to think that it was fine to chance her brother never knowing her.
One evening a few days before the first tasks, she woke up out of her sleep in a sweat. She ran out of their sleeping corridors and she ran, and ran, and ran. Her face was wet with tears, she seen Harry die in her dream. As she ran she tripped over a root in the ground, the school and the lake were out of sight but she did not care. She laid there on the ground for a moment until she felt a warm but rough hand touch her shoulder. She looked up and she seen a man, his hair was red and was tied back into a low pony. His face was freckled and he had been weather beaten from some sort of outdoor work. "My dear, are you okay? Why are you so far away from the school?"
Minerva was lost in this grown man's eyes, there was something about him that she was drawn to. "I..um...I needed air. That is all." She gave him a small grin.
He helped her up off the ground. "I am Charlie, Charlie Weasley. You are?" He sat down on a rock behind her.
She turned to face him. "I am Minerva P... Lupin, I am here with Beauxbaton Academy. You go to school here at Hogwarts?" She sat beside him.
He chuckled at her. "Once upon a time I did, but I have been out of school for a couple years now. Will not disclose how long but long enough to wish I was back here."

She laughed at him. "You could pass as a student." She seen his arm, it was badly burned. "You were around a dragon, did you get that looked at?"
He looked at her shocked that she knew what the burn was. "How did you know that this was a burn from a dragon?"
"I read books, and I am fascinated with them. I believe that they are misunderstood, and they deserve a lot more respect then our kind give them."
He nodded. "Yes, I think the same thing." He kept looking at her there was something about her and he could not put his finger on what it was.
"So now for the other part of my question. Have you got it checked?" She gently took his arm, and she shook her head. "Obviously not, this is an untreated burn." She pulled her wand out of her robes.
He was taken back by her knowledge. "Wow, you are very intelligent for being a student." He seen her pull her wand, he pulled back a bit. "What are you doing?"
She smiled and took his arm back in her hands. "I am going to help you, I know how to deal with this. Severus taught me some spells for dragon burns and such." She looked him deep in his eyes. "Do you trust me?"
He looked back into hers, and he did. "Yes, I trust you. Do what you think you need to do." He took a deep breath and hoped that his feeling on this did not deceive him.
Minerva smiled and she began to chant spells and within minutes the stinging of the burn was gone, she had him bandaged up. She let his arm down gently and gave him an 'I told you so' grin.
He laughed at her. "Well young lady you are going to make a great wife one day. There will be one lucky man out there to have you."
She shook her head. "No one will have me..." She sighed and got up off the rock, looking up at the light sky.
Charlie seen the look in her eyes, there was something really weighing on her mind. Asking her was out of line, so he came up with a better idea. "Minerva." He took her hand. "Come with me." He led her a bit further from the school.
She followed behind him, he had her hand pulling her along. "Where are you taking me?" She was curious.
He looked back and smiled at her as they came to a large camp looking area. " You will see, come on." He showed his badge to the man at the gate.
She walked in and froze where she stood. "Charlie, these are dragons. Why are they on the grounds here at Hogwarts?" She was so amazed with them.
"That is something I am not allowed to share with you." He smiled and pulled her closer to them. "They are sleeping at the moment but keep your wand drawn just in case."
She nodded and walked with him. "This is the Swedish Short-Snout, wow she is beautiful." Her face was lit up.
He stood by her and watched her expression, he loved that he could make her smile like that. "Yes, she is one of my favorite."
She looked over to the next one. "Is that a Horntail?" She grabbed his hand and ran past the Chinese Fireball and Common Green Welsh.
"Yes, she is out most complicated. She gave me the burn, a hot head this one is."
She nodded. "I thought that was what the burn was but I was not too sure. I did not think that any one had them in captivity like this." She got a bit closer to her.
Charlie walked up behind her. "She is something else, want to..."
"Minerva." A male voice came from behind them.
She jumped when she heard the voice, she turned and faced the headmaster of Hogwarts. "Sir, hello.."
"Why are you here this late in the evening? It is not safe to wonder the grounds when you are not familiar with them." He looked at her over his half mooned spectacles.
She nodded. "Yes sir, I am sorry. I just had a nightmare about... um that does not matter I should have stayed with my classmates."
He nodded. "Indeed you should have, I am sure that if Madame Maxime wakes and you are not there she will not be too impressed with that."
"No sir, she would be really mad. I would probably be sent back to school." She sighed.
"I will not tell her, if you head back now. Mr. Weasley can you take her back?" He smiled at him.
"Yes, of course headmaster." He looked at the man.
"Call me Albus, you are not a student here anymore no need to call me headmaster." He chuckled and walked into the tent of the head trainer.
Minerva sighed a big sigh of relief. "I thought for sure I was done for."
He smiled at her. "Well we should be getting you back, do not want to be sent back before the first task."
She nodded and her face went dead. "The Dragons, no..." She looked at the horntail then back at Charlie, her face went pale.
"Minerva, what is it? You look like you have just seen a ghost." He was a bit concerned.
"The first tasks, it is the Dragons..." She shook her head. "No, it can't be that is silly." She looked at him. "Right, foolish thought?"
Charlie shook his head at her. "I wish I could say that is was foolish, but it is the truth Minerva. The champions have to escape the Dragons in the first task."
She looked away from him and she shook her head.
He touched her shoulder. "You close with the champion from your school?"
She was lost in her thoughts. "Um, yeah you can say that."
"You must not tell her, Fleur can not have an advantage on the others." He turned her to look at him.
"Fleur? What about her?" She asked as she came out of her thoughts.
He looked at her confused. "Dragons, the first task, she can not know what it is."
"Oh yeah right. I promise she will not hear it from me. We are not on speaking terms at the moment anyway." She sighed.
He nodded at her and they headed back to the carriage, he looked at her. "Minerva, I know you from somewhere. Have we met before."
She shook her head. "No, I do think we have. I would remember a face like yours." She smirked.
He blushed a bit a her. "That is a great point, I would remember you as well." He thought for a minute. "Harry, that is who I see. Your eyes, they are just like his, are you two related?"
She was taken back by his remarks. "Um...no, I have never met him. Only see him in passing..." She looked away from him. How did he put two and two together with only their eyes.
The walk back she was quiet, she had no idea what to say to him. He knew that he had hit something close to her because she was not talking to him, but what was it. He walked her to the carriage. "Here." He handed her a bracelet.
She looked at it. "What is it?"
"I gave all my siblings one of these. It is enchanted, all you have to do is say Charlie I need to talk. I wear these there is one color for each sibling and now one for you." He had quite a few on his arm. "Minerva if you ever need to talk to anyone, think of me." He smiled at her.
She nodded at him. "Thank you, I should get back. I do not want to get into too much trouble."
"Okay, see you around." He waved at her and headed back to camp.
Minerva walked into the carriage and quietly walked back to her bed. She laid there and she looked at the bracelet, what was this feeling that she had towards him. Something that she had never felt before for someone. She smiled as she slid the bracelet on her wrist. "Mrs. Charlie Weasley." She laughed as she turned around and dozed off.
