DISCLAIMER: Inuyasha and its' characters are not mine.
A/N: I honestly don't have a good excuse for this ridiculous amount of time between updates. However, I took a soul sucking corporate job and just lost all zest for life and writing. I'm in a different career now, but I am not making promises this time because obviously I am terrible at it. But here's a chapter?
Kagome's mind was racing.
Me? He wants me?
While Kagome knew that he was curious about her, understood her many differences from the people of this time. That why he undoubtedly put that rune stone in her bag, to make sure she was not a threat. It is, after all, normal to be wary of the unknown so she simply let it be. He would see in time that she was trustworthy.
She did not doubt what Inuyasha had told her. While her hanyou would omit things, he would never outright lie to her. But this-this- was unexpected. While she harbored attraction for Sesshoumaru, it was always held tightly in the back of her mind. She was well aware of the daiyoukai's contempt for those weaker than he himself was.
When? Why?
One thing was for sure, she was not ready to return to the group. She would be a liability with the chaos in her mind, and frankly, she wasn't sure that she could look at Sesshoumaru without blushing.
Kagome tugged gently on Inuyasha's forelock, "Can you take me to the well?"
The hanyou only sighed and changed direction.
