Hey everyone,
So this is going to be the last chapter of my favorite book in the HP series and after this we are moving onto one of the two books I could care less about. I already explained you in last chapter why I think GoF and HBP are books that can easily be skipped bar one vital event each, so I won't repeat myself and bore you lot.
Let's get to it,

Chapter 28
A Liquid Prophesy
3rd of November 1993
Great Hall, Hogwarts
Albus' POV
"We're only just finishing the first book and already so much has changed. Severus will probably slowly start being a more fair teacher, Voldemort has more than likely lost his most loyal fund provider and several people he believed out of his way are still alive and ready to take on both him and that awful Pettigrew as well."
I can't help but think as I look upon my beloved school, now filled with both my trusted staff, my sometimes not so sweet students, several hard-working members of the Ministry and even members of my family and their own. And it's my family that I love the most, especially with how far and wide it has expended so quickly.
Where just yesterday I thought it was just me and my great-nephew, do I know have my nephew back as well as two more great-nephews, my nephew having a husband and that husband having a brother who is also married and actually has two sons of his own, making our family having expended from 2 to 10 members.
And four of those members are practically brothers in all but blood with 14 others, making my family actually rival with the Weasleys, which has also expanded with two members, making it so that their family is now one member larger than my own – the married in members as well as cousins, aunts and uncles of House Weasley not included.
"Albus, enough family thoughts. It's time to get back to reading." Minerva then tells me and I send her a smile that is tinged with gleeful guilt as I move from where I am gazing out over the entire Great Hall to where the book is waiting for me and I open it on the first page of the last chapter, instantly drawing a silence all around.
"Even with all these changes, somethings will always stay the same." I think to myself with a renewed sense of guilty glee as I know that, even if I will always try not to succumb to my own fame, this is something I will always thank my incredible title and reputation for and then I clear my throat to keep from snickering and start to read.
Owl Post Again
"Harry!" Hermione …"let's go…"
"Is that even possible?" Jeffrey asks and I smile at him as I say: "There is of course the chance that they might run into a hurdle or two such as Cornelius and Severus, but I have full confidence in your brother and Mss. Granger, Mr. Potter." And the boy practically shines at me calling him by his last name as I read on.
They slipped … saved him…"
"Had the interview been about my first Quidditch match, I would have agreed with you, Minister, but in this case, I do hope you understand my disagreement here." And while I can see Severus look a mix of shocked and slightly disgruntled, does Cornelius himself indeed nod in understanding with my grandson as I read on.
Harry clenched … Good luck."
"And everything has come full circle. Merlin, this feels so strange. I know we're a chapter further, but it feels as if we're at the start of last chapter or something." Ron mutters and he turns to Hermione as he asks: "How on earth do you manage that?" And the girl turns red at the hidden praise, making me smile as I read on.
Dumbledore backed … patients now?"
"I truly apologize for that, Poppy, though I do hope you understand why I did this, especially considering what we now know of my nephew and his family." I ask the woman in question and she tuts at me and says: "Just make sure they have an adult helping them from now on." At which I nod in relief and read on.
She was … gets out –"
Here I see Regulus wince and he says: "I can only imagine how furious you are going to be, love. I just hope this won't be a repeat of back before my own graduation." And the shudder that runs through both his as well as the bodies of Frank and Alice makes Severus and me share a deeply worried glance before I focus back on reading.
"HE DIDN'T … burst open.
"Albus, I thought you had locked the door." Lucius then asks and I answer: "I did, however I am by the Hogwarts charter forbidden from using any locking charms that my staff is unable to break, especially on areas such as common rooms and the Hospital Wing due to the Heads having their rights to check on their students."
At this the man nods, mollified and Regulus sighs as he says: "I hate this. You and James buried the hatchet at the end of your OWLs and have been best friends ever since. You were like brothers. You even asked him to be your Best Man at our bonding. To see all of that undone like this." And the man sighs again as I read on.
Fudge, Snape … them further."
"Albus, that was uncalled for!" James shocks me as he growls and he says: "It's obvious you only told some of the teachers about Hermione and her Time-Turner, so to hint at it in such a way someone in a state of rage like Severus would never be able to pick up on; that's the same kind of baiting I swore never to do again after fifth."
And while Harry and his friends seem shocked to hear that the man would bait others like that in his youth, do I look at the text once more, before a stab of guilt hits me as I realize that the man is right and I hear Severus mutter: "I never thought I'd see the day." At which Regulus and James send him a playful smile as I continue reading.
Snape stood … you, Dumbledore."
"Considering that we're still affected by the MMB, I think it's safe to say that we're all a bit unhinged. Especially if you take into account just how many lies are created out of our false memories." Luna then says and this makes all of us, especially the adults, look quite uncomfortable with giving the girl right as I continue reading.
"Oh, he's … school entrance…"
"NO DRAGONS!" Harry, Ron and Hermione shout in horrified fear and everyone looks at them shocked as Harry says: "Trust me, unless Charlie is willing to come work here, we will have no one able to control them. No Hagrid, you don't count." And this actually shocks the half-giant, yet I calmly smile as Sirius asks:
"Do I even want to know?" Yet as one Harry and Hermione turn to McGonagall and Harry says: "Well Professor, I do believe you are the best choice to explain this. Seeing it cost us so many points." And the woman actually whitens as she whispers: "It was – it was actually – true?" Yet I know this is not the time and so I read on.
"Hagrid would … more chocolate.
"Harry!" Hermione snaps at him, but Harry retorts: "Hey, I've been the one to recap the whole thing twice in the last two years! Don't blame me for finally taking this chance. I hated having to do it both times before now.""You hated it?" Ron asks and Harry mutters: "I – may have left a thing or two out for your own good."
"Like what?" The two chorus in shock and Harry asks: "Would you really mind if I mention those when we are a little more – private?" And instantly he looks at Ginny, who turns white as she must realize why Harry had left things out in the first place, yet this still makes me worry for Harry's last two adventures as I read on.
When Harry … last night…
This alone makes James smile at his son in loving pride and Harry shocks us as he actually pulls the picture that was taken from the file during the Patronus chapter from his pocket and gives it to his mother as he says: "This is what it apparently looks like." And James gushes over the picture with pride as I read on.
A shadow … now, o' course."
"SEVERUS TOBIAS SNAPE! HOW COULD YOU!" Regulus shouts in fury and he goes on: "That was because of your lost Order of Merlin, wasn't it? Merlin, I HATE that blasted MMB! The man it has turned you in, I – I just don't recognize you anymore." And this actually seems to hurt Severus as Regulus turns away from him.
I then see Jeremy and Jason share a look and Jeremy moves over to hug his mother while Jason sends his father a comforting look, at which Severus smiles at him and actually pulls the boy close against his side, Jason instantly wrapping his arms around his father in a comforting, supportive manner, making me read on with a smile.
"He's packing … at breakfast."
At this, while Severus has now started to run a comforting hand across his son's back, does he gaze at the man in shock and Lily slaps him over the back of his head as she says: "And you always said I need to stop seeing the best in people when they don't deserve it. You are such a hypocrite." At which I read on, feeling elated.
"You're not … children, Harry.
"Dad, If any idiotic adult ever thinks they can scare you out of doing something you're so obviously genius at." Jack and John chorus and then Eddy and Edward chorus: "They will have us, the Squad and the Gang to deal with." And I can easily see that many of the Squad and Gang's parents agree with this, making me read on with pride.
And after … happen again."
"That was because of a stupid prophesy and because a need for justice and revenge made you and Professor Snape forget your duty to yourself and your health. And seeing the shocking discovery, anyone would have made that mistake." Edena snaps at the man, who smiles at her in his usual tired and accepting way.
This makes me sigh as I already know that, at the end of the year, Remus will probably still resign regardless of how we already fixed the problem that his student and my grandson would face and then Harry says: "I'm just glad that that prophesy isn't valid in this timeline." Yet then we all get shocked when something happens.
Irma and Irina gasp before water from several jugs across the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw Tables starts to surround them each and lift them above each of the two tables, their wavy hair blowing around their heads thanks to the swirling water and their crystal blue eyes shining with power unlike any I have ever seen as they chorus:
Years of Darkness, Years of Light
With friends returned, the future of kids will be bright
Scarred by Death, weighed down by fame,
Many of them suffer under the wrong family name
Yet while Power and Might fight for the title of Dark One
The Title Dark Lord belongs to Mind alone
And while the Shadows evolve to Death
Mind will be the first to draw his last breath
With friends by his side, Death will bring light
With family behind him, he will show his true might
And once Power has come and gone
All levels of the child's life will truly be one
And with that do the two get moved back to their seats, Rosaline and Rosemary instantly rushing to sit by their sides and hugging them close, while my staff and I share a shocked look and I feel a slight hint of relief when I see that Irma Prince has a quill and roll of parchment in front of her, the woman nodding to confirm my belief.
"But, I thought they said that they weren't Seers. How could they make a prophesy like that?" Hermione asks and again Irma, who looks groggy and as if she just woke from an hour long nap, mutters: "The Water flows, even where others cannot always see. Also, what prophesy?" And Irina nods in agreement at the end.
Yet instantly I interfere and say: "A prophesy that Madam Pince has already written down and of which I will discern who it actually implies, so we can go and gather its orb from the Hall of Prophesies at earliest convenience." Yet at this Irma shakes her head and, to my shock, asks: "Harry, can I have the file back?"
And the boy looks at this shocked before pulling his book bag up from where it was on the floor next to him and when the eldest of the Lovegood girls has it back, she rummages through it, picks up a small paper and says: "Don't waste a year guarding when those you trust can be in the know of the secret. It ruined my fifth and wasted this file."
And instantly my eyes turn to Sirius in devastation, my mind whirling over how my knowledge of the prophesy could lead to his death, only to realize that it's not my knowledge, but rather Voldemort's desire to have that same knowledge and I turn back to the girl as I say: "I promise." Before I focus back on my reading.
"You're the … for it."
"Good grief, Remus, did you really have to do that?" Minerva then groans and instantly the man smirks and retorts: "That depends, Minerva. Would you rather Harry have it or, say, Fred and George?" Yet to this Minerva groans: "Considering his parentage, I don't see the difference." At which I laugh and read on.
Harry took … the castle."
"I still can't believe Lupin managed to keep this secret from us throughout an entire book." Fred then says and George goes on: "I can't believe we've been playing alongside a Marauder's son for three years and didn't even know it." And then Harry asks: "And the fact that you now share a school with several Marauder kids?"
And while I instantly notice that my staff is turning white as they must have just realized the same thing, seeing the Gang and their ages, do the twins chorus: "Dream come true." Yet I also notice them sending a strange and confused look at Jack and Eddy at which Jack raises his eyebrow at them yet keeps quiet and so I read on.
There was … as possible.
"Moony wanted to stay with his cub, didn't he?" Sirius asks the man and Remus answers: "Considering that I believed Harry to be my only pack cub, I have no doubt that that is exactly why I was so adamant on leaving; the idea that my cub had been there the previous night." And the man shudders as I continue reading.
"Good-bye, then … got away."
"And right now he has a whole new prophesy describing how dark and dangerous he actually is." Harry suddenly mutters and I ask: "How can you be sure of that?" And the boy answers: "Pettigrew was the Caster of the Magical Mind Block and that, therefore, makes his the Mind the prophesy kept talking about."
This shocks me and Harry sighs as he says: "Profe-grandpa, I'm pretty sure I already have most of that prophesy figured out. Mind means Pettigrew, Power means Voldemort and the Shadow that will evolve into Death means me." And while this makes many of those around him look at the boy in shock, do I read on, feeling frazzled.
"Didn't make … pay raise…"
"What was the first one about?" Irma asks and Severus and I share a horrified look as I say: "That prophesy is best not discussed here, Mss. Lovegood. However, James, you know what must be done, yes?" And my nephew nods, his own face proving he too remembers what I told him of this prophesy and I sigh before reading on.
"But –" Harry … comes back!"
"That is utter bull plop!" Edena and Iris shout at the boy and Harry smirks and rubs the back of his neck as Irma says: "You were not the one who decided to flee and you will not be the one who will decide to even think of doing that. Don't let those Muggles win." And this reminder makes me sigh before I read on.
"It does … Harry Potter."
Yet here Harry frowns and says: "But – that only counts for the books, not for now." Yet at this Rosaline says: "No, but where the life debt counts for the books, your Elemental abilities count for here and both will give us the advantage we need." And while the words to survive go unsaid, do I still silently hear them as I read on.
"I don't … Pettigrew's life."
"I was. It was horrid, but it helped me survive." Irma then reads and she says: "The page was marked and everything. Harry from the future really has prepared for everything. He even says right here that we need to remember this once we get to the latter half of the last book." At which quite a few students groan as I read on.
Harry couldn't … mother's eyes."
"Hold on a second, that one doesn't even make sense. How on earth do I look like Aunt Lily and not like dad?" Harry asks and Narcissa says: "I know for a fact that the other kids all changed their looks thanks to their upraising, but – I can only imagine that yours are due to some kind of Glamour spell or something similar."
At this Harry looks thoughtful and then takes a deep breath before he gets off his seat and moves over to the closest end of the table, where the shadow reaches all the way to the set of steps of the Head Table Stage. There the boy turns back to the table and moves his hands to have palms down as he closes his eyes in focus.
Everyone looks at the boy, some of us confused, others curious and even a few of them excited at what Harry will be doing with his shadow magic this time, yet we all get shocked beyond words when the boy actually drops into the shadow he stands on and vanishes completely as if the floor literally swallowed him up.
"HARRY!" His parents shout as they jump up in fright, but then their other kids tug at their robes and Jeffrey says: "The other side. This is something Harry does whenever he gets to spend long periods of time with us because Aunt Rosie won't let him wear rags when he does." And James and Sirius turn to the other side in relief.
I myself feel amazed that my grandson has this ability, yet then get shocked when, as I actually sense some kind of power moving through the hall, I also sense it grasping at the leftover bits of cleaning magic left behind by the House Elves and gathering these bits to its source, which makes me realize what my grandson is doing.
"He's using the House Elf magic, empowered by his own Shadow Elemental abilities, to break through the Glamours." And with that do I turn to the other side of the table with a great sense of curious interest in how my grandson will look once he has been cleansed of this magic. And when Harry comes back up, my eyes widen.
An aristocratic face, grey eyes that have several specks of hazel brown in them to make them look darker, long black hair that hangs down to the boy's shoulder pads and looks messy up top, yet sleek further down, high cheekbones, a pouty upper lip and thin under lip and an athletic build from the shoulders down.
Al in all Harry looks to have lost every last bit of the effects of his previous upraising and now his looks prove his actual parentage beyond a shadow of a doubt as he now seems to have acquired every last bit of physical attribution that made both his parents such high sought after boyfriend material when they were his age.
The boy takes a deep breath and asks: "Did I change much?" Only for everyone to get shocked as his tone has turned much deeper and lower than before, which I can only assume is thanks to his Shadow Elemental Ability, yet others don't seem to care for this as his parents smile and his mum says: "You look brilliant, kiddo."
And the young man smiles at his mum as he moves back to their seats, his sleek legs making his step look much more sophisticated and students keeping their shocked and appreciative gazes on him as he walks, even if that's now because of his looks instead of his fame and yet the boy seems to ignore this as he sits down and I read on.
Harry shook … last night."
"And from now on, the Marauders will forever ride to protect all those close to them, both those taken and presumed death and those suffering from those presumptions." James tells his son as he pulls the boy close and I smile as I see even Severus nod in sheer determination along with all other Marauders, old and new, as I continue reading.
It took … from me.
"We didn't keep it quiet from you, Albus. We reported it to you the minute we were sure all of us were proficient in the full transformation and you ensured that we all had our forms registered with the Ministry, yet we did it privately with the promise that we would make the registration public once the war had finally ended.
Just a shame we never got that chance." James sighs at the end at which Jessie gives him a warm hug as Tonks says: "I'll make sure to go do that for you when we break for lunch, James. Don't worry about it." And the man smiles at his cousin twice removed by bond while Amelia sends the young lady a proud smile and I read on.
And then … a gamekeeper.
"Which is completely stupid seeing as how you baited the poor thing, ignored teacher's instructions and slandered a matron's reputation just to get your way." Elena tells her younger brother coldly and the boy glares at her, yet reels back when he sees her send a raised eyebrow look at his legs, which makes me read on confused.
Percy Weasley … girlfriend, Penelope.
"Really now, Mr. Weasley?" Amelia then asks the boy with a skeptical voice and the boy turns red as she continues: "Well, I would love to hear these so-called proposals about a boy who, if I have to go by what Arthur has told me, is better off in an office job instead of an Auror position." And Percy coughs in shame as I read on.
Though the … worse spirits.
"You just don't know how to appreciate the better things in life, do you?" Sirius asks and Harry sighs as he says: "Seeing as how, to me, most of what happens at Hogwarts is part of the better things in my life, I have good reason to dread the summer hols whenever they start approaching." And this makes his dad look concerned as he asks:
"Does this have anything to do with the fact that I caught you outside in the middle of the night back last summer?" And this instantly causes the shadows all around the hall to swivel and tremble in rage and Harry growls: "She had no right. I thought dad and aunt Lily were heroes. She had no right." And he continues growling after this.
This makes me turn to Cornelius and ask: "Did you hear anything of what Mss. Dursley thought was Harry's reason for doing what he did?" But the man shakes his head and says: "My Obliviators just told me that she had been blabbering self-arrogant nonsense and that they Obliviated her just to get rid of her faster."
This really worries me and then Elisa coldly asks: "She insulted Aunt Lily and Uncle James, didn't she?" And when Harry nods, does Irma shock me as she pushes a bowl of water towards Harry and says: "Release." And the boy allows her to clasp his hands above the bowl, her little fingers touching the water.
And the water glows along with the interlinked hands before a voice sounds from the bowl and the voice says: "It all comes down to blood … Bad blood will out … your sister was a bad egg … ran off with a wastrel and … a no-account, good-for-nothing, lazy scrounger … get themselves killed in a car crash (drunk, I expect) …"
Yet here the voice stops and by now eyes all over the hall are wide and Sirius mutters: "Good Merlin, she sounds like mum." And while Regulus cringes at this, does he still nod in agreement while Severus groans and I know he is hating himself for having, at one point in time, agreed with the woman on James' account.
Then Harry turns to us at the Head Table and says: "Now tell me I shouldn't have blown her up like I did." Yet none of us say this as I think: "You went easy on that horrid woman, really." And I have no doubt that people like Pomona, Amelia, Filius, Hagrid and Minerva are probably thinking the same thing before I return to the book.
He certainly … the Dursleys.
"No kidding. I swear, I should have remembered last summer and pulled you onto Buckbeak to take you with me." Sirius says with a heavy sigh of resignation, but I shake my head and say: "You couldn't, Sirius, Harry needed to return to the Hospital Wing. Had he not used the Time-Turner, that would not have been needed."
At this Sirius sighs and then I see James looking from his beloved mate to his middle son and then to me and he mutters: "Extreme Emergency." And I nod, part of me yet again hating how, for whatever strange reason, the magic of our line didn't consider Voldemort targeting Harry as an extreme emergency and I read on.
For maybe … father back.
"If only you knew the truth." Sirius then jokes, but the Squad all turn serious and forlorn and Jeremy says: "No. Harry did find out the truth before he send us here, it was the whole reason he put so much importance behind the file, but reading it when he did practically broke him. It really is only better he never knew the full truth."
"Was – was it that bad?" James asks, his voice desperate for the eldest of the Squad to tell him things weren't as bad as his tone suggest, but Jeremy sighs and says: "I'll be honest, Uncle James. You and the others were still captives, Aunt Alice and Frank still insane and – Uncle Sirius, Remus, Severus and Xeno were all murdered."
At this everyone sitting around those in the Squad gasp in shock and while I had been standing at the Owl Stand while reading, do I now grab the book and rush for my family, coming to sit beside Jessie and reaching past him to wrap my arms around his father in horrid fear as I have really grown to see Sirius as my own as well.
Harry and Jessie have done the same and the kids of those stated to have been murdered have all gone to do the same, Jeremy hugging Regulus, John and Edward hugging Remus, Irina and Luna seeking comfort with Irma and, for some interesting reason, Rosie looking as if she wants to join Jeremy into hugging Severus close.
Like this we all stay seated for the longest time, those who are not hugging the ones stated to have died seeking comfort with those just as close with these poor souls and the rest of the castle remaining quiet in respect for us and our need to seek comfort with each other before Isaac takes the book from me and softly continues reading.
And while … on purpose.
At this Severus sends the boy a glare, yet it is in no way as heated and filled with hatred as it once was and I know that this has somewhat to do with the knowledge that he actually died in the past of his eldest son, though I am quite sure that the sight of how horrible his family feels over this also plays a part in it and I listen to Isaac read.
Snape's behavior … Harry's throat.
"Severus, you haven't felt like that since the Halloween of your Fourth year and back then you swore you would always do your best never to feel like that again. How on earth could one teenager make you feel like that again?" Regulus asks and his partner sighs as he says: "Blame the MMB memories." But Reg shakes his head and says:
"No, this has a deeper meaning. Sev, look at me." And instantly Severus and I know what the man is referring to as Severus seems to hesitate before he locks gazes with his partner and for the longest time do the two of them just keep gazing at each other before Regulus blinks and gasps, breaking eye contact as he says:
"That lowlife piece of dung beetle. He tweaked the MMB in such a way that those with Occlumency shields would experience increased emotions if it concerns anyone who is at the center of the MMB spellwork. And because Siri and Harry are at that very center, Sev's dark emotions and memories are increased even further than normal."
"So having my Occlumency shields actually makes it so that I will keep treating them this horribly, even if I am now starting to remember the things you and the others are telling me? Does that mean I will heal off the MMB if I just drop the shields?" But Regulus shakes his head, his face a mask of deep concern and he says:
"Pettigrew prepared for that as well. Drop your shields – and you end up in the same state as Frank and Alice were in before they remembered having Rosaline and Rosemary." And this makes Severus blanch as well as he asks: "What can I do?" Yet Regulus doesn't seem to have an answer as he hums and then Harry asks:
"What if, for each memory that Uncle Reg and the others help you regain, you allow a small bit of your shields to come down. Would that help?" And Regulus' eyes widen as he says: "It just might. The returned memories might just serve as replacement for the shields going down little by little." At which Isaac reads on proudly.
Percy had … the rest.
"Don't worry, kiddo. You will never have to fear going back to that bint and her family ever again. Though our new plans do come with a very small hurdle in the road, so to say." James tells his son and when Harry looks at him, he says: "Uncle Al and I think it might be best, for Siri and for Jeffrey, that we move to our EE-home."
"EE? As in Exceeds Expectations?" Hermione asks, but I shake my head and say: "As in Extreme Emergency. It's our last resort safety house where we can practically build a new life and, if taking enough friends with us, even a whole new community if we so desired and it is also completely self-proficient and economically stable.
In fact, most of the ingredients that the Hogwarts House Elves use in their meals actually come from the EE-home. The hurdle, however, is that the house itself is so well protected that practically every form of communication, floo, owl, etc., is either completely cut off or so heavily protected it borders on restricting."
This shocks most of those around us and Harry asks: "So, if we were to – to go there, it – it would feel like when Dobby was trying to intercept my mail?" Yet then Jeremy says: "It would have, if it weren't for the fact that this house sounds like the perfect location for our families to heal from their MMB and captivity traumas."
At this his father glares at him, yet Jeremy glares back and says: "Dad, just don't. Your whole life has been turned upside down and we both know you can best heal from that somewhere you can chose between being alone and being with those who care for you and the EE-House sounds like that is exactly what you need."
At this Severus glares at him just a little longer and asks: "How exactly did you get to know me this well this quick?" And instantly Jeremy starts smirking and says: "I have been a leader to this gang for the better part of two decades and I am your son, you know." Which earns him a proud smirk from his father as Isaac reads on.
As the … schedule again."
Here Minerva sighs and says: "Now there is a decision I should have made for you much sooner in the year. Mss. Granger, I know we're only two months in, but I do want to apologize for how blind my book-self has been all book." At which Hermione nods at her favorite teacher and I smile at my beloved colleague as Isaac reads on.
"I still … ignored her.
"Wow, that sounds dangerous." Rosemary suddenly says and when we look at her, she says: "I mean the fact that it's just the three of you. Ron and Hermione so obviously have very, very different interests and whatnot and Harry being the only one to link them together as friends. Wow, that just can't be healthy."
"And why not?" Hermione suddenly snarls at which Rosemary shrugs and says: "Just that, if you two really argue as much as I've heard you guys do, it will probably result in you using Harry as a scapegoat to vent your anger, just because you want to argue, but don't want to break up as friends. See what I mean with unhealthy?"
At this the girl looks uncertain and shares a worried look with Ron before Harry says: "First off, I think the reading of all chapters between the Gryffindor-Ravenclaw Quidditch match and the Cat, Rat and Dog chapter proves that we work together just fine, regardless of our differences. Second off, what are you guys, chopped liver?"
And this makes Rosemary actually look shocked before she starts giggling and says: "Point taken, Harry. Sorry about that, Hermione." Yet while the brunette shakes her head at the Forest Elemental, do I share a worried look with Isaac before the both of us turn our gazes at both the book in his hands, the other books and then back as he reads on.
"It's the Quidditch World Cup this summer!
And instantly the boy has to stop as cheers of excitement sound from all around and Tonks shouts: "Yes! So those negotiations are going to succeed. This is beyond awesome! Hey boss, can I be part of the security detail?" And Amelia laughs: "If you can prove yourself worthy." At which the Auror squeals excitedly as Isaac reads on.
How about … Aunt Marge…"
"Oh-ho-ho-ho, you went easy on them, pup. Especially seeing all that that wrench said about my Jamie. Oh, she is so going to pay." Sirius snarls and Harry snickers: "I can't wait to see it. Petunia being visited by a mass-murderer and several people she believed to have died years ago." And instantly Collin asks:
"Professor McGonagall, permission to leave the castle grounds when the dead go visit the living?" And Harry seems to understand why he asks as he instantly turns to the woman and begs: "Oh please, Professor. Please, please, please, please, please, pretty, pretty please with catnip, tuna and a dead rat on top?"
And my favorite colleague groans as everyone laughs at how Harry begs her and asks: "Mr. Potter, how on earth could you even ask me a question in such a way?" At which Harry shrugs and says: "Simple, I'll send Hedwig. She might not get the right rat, but she can get all the rest." At which Minerva smirks and says:
"Mr. Creevey, you are forbidden from leaving the castle, until Mr. Potter comes true on his promise." And instantly Collin turns to Harry, who shouts: "Hedwig!" And to Minerva's amazement does the owl fly through the owl entrance in the ceiling and while Harry gives her his orders and the owl flies off, does Isaac read on, snickering.
Feeling considerably … turned up…
"Sirius, what did you do?" Remus asks and instantly Sirius asks: "How did you know it was me?" And the werewolf answers: "Because right now, in the book, you are the one thing that makes Harry happier than anything else, that's how." And while this makes the ex-convict beam with exhilaration, does Isaac read on.
"Harry," said … harm's way.
"Hermione, you really need to start teaching Crookshanks the difference between wildlife and domesticated pets. Though hunting a former pet of mine, I really hope you will train him to hunt that thing down and kill it – if it's in its rat form of course." Ron rants in the end and his friends laugh at his goofiness as Isaac reads on.
Harry picked … be lifted.
"A noble purpose, Sirius, but you really could have realized that I would have ensured their removal right after your most recent escape." I tell the man, who shrugs and says: "I can only assume that I was remembering the other attacks and didn't want to take any risks." At which I cringe and nod in understanding as Isaac reads on.
There is … affectionate way.
"And it really isn't right of you to sound so smug when your belief in that fact made you go behind your friend's back." Rosaline adds and Hermione looks down as she says: "I only want Harry safe." And Rosaline softly says: "And you should have trusted that Harry wanted the same." At which the girl nods as her brother reads on.
– Crookshanks took … on weekends.
"Ah yes, that reminds me." Sirius says and he pulls several small bits of parchment out of his own bag and writes all kinds of things down on both bits before handing one to Jeffrey and one to Harry, both of them eagerly snatching the bits of parchments out of his hands, reading it and then screaming gratitude as they hug him.
The other parents then all start smiling at each other and they all start doing the same, yet because of Irma, do I look at Filius who nods and asks Irma Prince for some parchment and the woman smiles as she helps her colleague help the sister of one of his own Ravens and while Isaac smiles at his own parents, does he then read on.
"That'll be … a rat.
"Sirius, you can't!" Molly shrieks in shock, yet Sirius smirks and says: "When it comes to the book, I doubt Ron will ever tell you where that little thing came from. As for in here, try and stop me." And while the woman sends him a furious glare, telling him not to even try, does he then ask: "Wouldn't you do the same for Harry?"
And instantly I know this is one battle Sirius has won as the woman looks startled before pouting and then Jeffrey asks: "Hey, since when is your pride more important than what your friends can do to help you raise your kids?" And I smirk at him as I can tell he carefully worded his question to keep Molly from objecting.
And while the woman seems to desire to do so, does she then falter and look at Arthur, who has a hesitant, guilty look in his eyes and then Lily seals the deal as she says: "Hey, we can always set up a contract to decide how much which friend can help you if you want." And the Weasley elders nod at this as Isaac reads on.
Ron's eyes … the last.
"Harry dear, you forgot to tell him that Sirius was actually innocent." Molly then tells the boy, only for her twin sons to tut and for Fred to say: "Mum, mum, sweet, ignorant mum." And George goes on: "That was exactly the point." And the woman looks cross at this as Harry asks: "Speaking of which, who is my godfather anyway?"
And Regulus answers: "Your dad felt I would be able to do more good for you as godfather than as an uncle, though I still don't get why and named Lily your godmother." At this Harry looks at his father, but Sirius shrugs and says: "I must have had my reasons, but I can't remember them. Though I do agree with the notion, for some reason."
And Harry smiles as Isaac says: "And that ends this book." And with a sigh of relief does he close the book and lie it on the table in front of him as he says: "Wow, and then to think that Harry from the future called this his calmest year yet. I am so glad he never told us what he went through and that he told us to go down under when he did."
And while I cringe at yet another reminder that there is a war on the horizon and that the books will only get worse as we move up in the numbers, do I still nod along with many others, the students now moving to sit together with friends and curious muttering over what the other books could contain starting to fill the hall.
Hey everyone,
WOW! This chapter took a life of its own. Harry has broken his Glamour, the prophesy was revealed, a few more hidden memories were brought up and Jeremy declared that the whole Gang, the Squad and their families are to join the Potter-Blacks when they move into the Extreme Emergency home.
However, next chapter, there will only be a small interception between the two books as there will be a duel between Sirius, Remus and James against Lucius, Severus and the cocky Auror from the earlier chapter, though I personally think I will only write this duel in summary form as I still suck at writing such battles.
Anyway, enjoy,
