White Queen
The White Queen was born from bloodshed, death and tragedy.
The war spiraled out of control, taking the world along with it and even the Lady's secure little paradise fell, though she, herself, had been touched by it long before, looked at it out of her own violation and her sight had been set on it long before she moved.
Her father's death, out of the two of them, was the seemingly more important priority, but it turns out to be fake for the White Queen was more than just a figure head.
The more darkness piled up behind her, the brighter she shone.
She is a symbol of peace and hope, of all that is good with humanity. But it is not all she is. Her words sway people to her side. It is her actions that keep them there.
She does not only speak pretty words, but she follows them through. In person and in the first lines of offense.
The irony of it all is apparent to the observant spectator's eye.
On the battlefield and in war the White Queen has more power than any other time. The battlefield is a place where words out to have no weight, yet hers do.
A battlefield is a place where her life is as fragile as anyone else, it is a place where she, as a person, has the least power and needs to be protected and where despite it all she not only survives but with the angels and knights gathering around her, she is the most authoritative figure in the world.
It is at her word that they fight, under her name that they unite and it makes her most the dangerous.
And just as her servants actions reflect back at her, her presence is extended to them. They are seen and it is known that it is her, standing behind them.
The White Queen has many hands; spinning faithful servants from traitors, deserters and cowards.
Or so it is though…
No one seems capable of seeing the truth of give and take.
