This is a chapter I wrote without the help of a coauthor. I would like any coauthor of mine reading this to know maybe help from you is what made this story exciting. Well now I'll just write a page or two on a booklet each day and post it online so my older stories will finally get finished. I hope this chapter doesn't look too silly in your eyes. Please read and review.

Alfie without a shirt on to allow his muscles to glisten in the moonlight was practicing his two sword style. When he was a member of Luffy's crew the sword style completely taboo to use was the style he wanted to learn the most; with two pirates who can use three swords their swordplay would be unstoppable. But two swords and one sword was all he was told to learn.
' These people need to see you as a captain. Odaga is good for first mate but your choices should be swift like mine and Zoro's sword swings.'
In Alfie's mind he was swinging at Malcolm. Malcolm was the most vile man he's ever met and that earns him another chance against the Eternal Pirates.
First Alfie parried his left sword against a light pink blade with a toy black dragon on the hilt. This Malcolm was hunting for Alfie's heart. He twirled his head and licked his teeth with his tongue.
" Your crew scooped up what passes as their captain, a weakling."
Even in Alfie's mind this was a tough fight. Malcolm tried scratching Alfie while they were swashbuckling. Alfie tried to sever that arm so Malcolm would be down one limb, only Malcolm's arm changed into a wolf that gnawed on Alfie's sword. Alfie panicked with the wolf. He could use his second sword, but he would have no defense against Malcolm. His imaginary training left him in a scenario he couldn't win in.
" Alfie, stop training at once!"
Alfie couldn't tell who shouted at him but he was snapped back into reality. What reality brought him however was a familiar face that shouldn't be on his ship.
Wrapped in red blankets and looking like he was watching paint dry was the captain of the Strawhat Pirates and formerly Alfie...Monkey D. Luffy.
" Luffy?"
Alfie was shaking in surprise seeing Luffy. All this shaking led to him dropping his swords.
" Alfie where are the rest of your crew?" Luffy asked his former nakama.
" S-Sleeping capt...Luffy." It was from being very tired that Alfie was having a hard time replying.
" I want you to listen to me Alfie because it has to go through your ears before it can go through your crew's ears. I have been separated from Nami and now I cannot reunite with all seven of my other nakama."
That was terrible news. Luffy was strong but without his crew he couldn't sail a ship or navigate his way to any remote island. This called for his crew's help.
" The reason I lost my crew was a witch found a way to steal them all inside a book. I managed to steal from her that very book. What I can't do is release them yet."
" Why not Luffy?" Alfie felt no more tired so he could talk now without being slow on one word.
" The spell that was placed on them can only be broken by someone who doesn't rely on a Devil Fruit for powers. The words are a kind and normal captain must recite the words to someone who wants to read the book but can't."
Alfie opened to the page. His mind first felt blank before he opened the book. Miraculously it had a bridge with prison bars blocking the entrance—Alfie didn't understand the bridge but the bars could mean entrapped or trapped inside.
" My name and citation I invoke the Sunsada Trial."
Alfie read the words in the book as clear as his voice could read it. After reading it he waited for a sign everyone trapped in the book and yes everyone he counted as a friend who sailed with him on the Thousand Sunny...he wanted to see them free from the clutches of the book.
What happened was dead silence and a good three minutes wasted from Alfie's life.
" Luffy..."
Suddenly Alfie heard something loud make a loud thump in the air. It was a loud sound that made Alfie reach for his swords in defense, but Luffy's now long right arm snatched the swords off the ground.
" You actually did it Alfie. You finished a spell designed to kill the person who reads from it. Hehe...hehe...Hahahaha!"
Before Alfie could ask Luffy what madness he was going on about the rubbery captain jumped as high as the masts halfway and backflipped his way on a boat. He was using one of the lifeboats to escape.
" Luffy don't leave! You need to tell me why your acting this crazy, Luffy!"
Luffy wasn't alone on that lifeboat. There was a woman standing in it while Luffy used an oar to sail away. She wore a violet dress, had a green amulet on her neck, hair was long strands of orange and blue, and her eyes were crimson.
" Luffy has opened his heart to killing marines, pirates, and even harmless villagers including the ones who raised him," she said. " My name is Gillivray. My sisters and I love working with your captain. Survive long enough pirate captain and maybe you can live with us."
Alfie shook with anger. This witch and how she turned Luffy into this slave for her and her sisters...it all motivated Alfie to go after her and end her life; seeing her die might save the life of the Luffy he knew.
With a sound similar to a cannonball fired from a castle a spherical ball of fire descended faster than Alfie could blink. It was aimed at his rear side. It burst near the helm and quickly fire started spreading to the ship. Alfie coughed from the smoke oscillating out the fire like crimson bulging in a vampire's eyes or an electric battery in a machine. What mattered more to him was his nakama and how they must all be fast asleep—that could give the fire time to trap them.
Alfie ran to save them but not very fast as an unexpected surprise waited for him—a horn.
" Dinnachu Head Charge!"
Without swords Alfie could only somersault at the same time a man with long and dirty black hair shoulder checked almost into Alfie. A piece of metal was sticking out his shoulder but on contact it got stuck and he ripped it off.
" Glasses." He was wearing glasses he pushed back closer to his eyes. " Better."
