So this is a bit of a poo chapter, but I needed to write this to get to the last episode of season 4 without losing a big chunk. So I created this chapter, which seems to only last a few days and I know it seems longer in the season but that's because of the stories for other characters. I had a writers block writing this chapter but I wanted it out of the way before I started Season 4's finale chapter, so here it is! Keep yer eyes skinned for the next chapter tonight!

Callie turned to the forest and locked eyes with Michonne, nodding her head towards it as a sign they should leave. She could see more walkers walking over to the prison and knew that every minute that passed made their time window to leave the grounds slimmer and slimmer. Michonne nodded back, catching on to Callie's reasons, and the two headed for the forest quietly. They skimmed past the upturned bus and snuck past the walkers into the treeline, where they both looked at one another and collided in an embrace. "Did you see Zephy? And Dixie? Carl and Rick, they lost the baby... I didn't see where they went, did you see them? I don't know where they headed, we should try and find out... I hope she isn't gone, maybe she's still there?" The two womens questions and worries became one muddled conversation as they both spewed their worries out to each other.

"We should get moving" the two said together, looking darkly into each others eyes. They both looked at the others weapons, hands poised on the blades, before looking back towards the prison in hopes someone they knew was still there. Callie stood next to Michonne for a few minutes, watching the walkers stumble towards the fire and rubble that was the prison. The two walked forward, hands on their weapons, eyes still stuck on the ruin before them. They strode towards the prison, taking out the walkers noticing them with ease, precision and anger. Callie followed Michonne behind the wooden spikes and watched as the woman waited for two walkers to trap themselves, before cutting off the arms and jaws of both walkers.

Callie whistled to attract the attention of another two, and followed what her friend had done, hacking away at the arms and jaws with the biggest knives she had, giving Michonne a small smile of appreciation when her Katana swung through the air to help dismember her second walker. She grabbed rope from the winch on the fence beside her, and tied it round their necks, leaving enough for her to hold on to and pull them along with. She walked along next to her friend in silence, stopping and feeling her heart drop as they came across the head of Hershel, tuned and growling softly at them. She turned her head and closed her eyes in prayer as Michonne drove her sword through the head, ending the growls. She sighed and pulled at the rope, dragging her walkers behind her and towards the forest.

They walked for a few hours, none of them saying a word to each other. Callie sighed and looked around for a sign of someone living, even if it was someone she didn't know. Callie walked past trees and kept her eyes on the floor, her walkers trailing behind her, before she spoke up. "You know, they've more than likely headed for a small town, or a village... Somewhere with houses you know? They wouldn't just set up out here in the woods... They're smarter than that, they would head for houses, somewhere safe where they could lock themselves in and keep away from walkers" she said, eyes still on the ground beneath her, dodging trees. "I think we should head there too, find somewhere to rest" she continued, kicking the dirt. "Michonne?" she asked, looking up.

Her heart sank as she looked into the empty forest around her, the only company being the two walkers behind her. "Michonne?" she called slightly louder, worry filling her voice. A small whimper escaped her mouth and she looked wildly around for her friend. "Shit..." she whispered to herself, her heart racing. She steadied herself against a tree as the truth dawned on her - she was lost, with no one around her. Callie sat on the floor and gave herself a minute to worry and compose herself, trying to come up with a plan. "Okay... Find an old car. That'll keep me sheltered tonight... Find a house tomorrow morning, get some food... And a bag, grab myself some stuff to keep. Then find my family" she said to herself in a demanding tone.

"Okay..." she whispered, and hauled herself up, flicking the rope and walking off with her walkers. "Road, road, road" she muttered to herself, as she walked through the forest and hopefully towards a road. She nearly jumped in glee as she saw an opening to a country road, and carefully checked the path before moving out of the treeline and towards the nearest car. She checked the inside, before tying her walkers to the handle and clambering in, cuddling up on the seat and falling into a restless sleep. When she woke, everything was silent. She stretched out in the seat and her hand hit something on the back seat, setting chills up her spine. She turned to look, knife in hand, and let out a slow breath when she realised it was a box.

"I need to calm down" she muttered to herself, opening the box and rootling around its contents. She added the few cans of food she found to her satchel and quietly opened the car door, sliding out and grabbing the rope holding her two walkers. She walked down the road in silence, eyes never leaving the ground as she looked desperately for any signs of Michonne or the others from the prison. The daylight started to fade quickly from around her, and she sighed, knowing she needed to get to safety for the night. She walked into the forest, not too far from the road so she could still see where she was meant to be heading.

She wrapped herself tighter in her clothes and sat down, back against a tree, her walkers tied to the branch so they would mask her still. She leant her head back and listened to the calm and silence around her, her body not wanting to sleep at all. Her energy had built itself up and she sighed to herself, standing up and walking a few steps into the forest, satchel swinging by her thigh. She frowned as her eye caught something unusual, and she quietly moved through the trees towards the silver metal shining in the moonlight. "What the?" she muttered, and stepped out on to a railroad. She smiled and looked around, remembering the way the track used to go. "Wow..." she whispered, walking on the edge of the tracks like a little girl.

Her eyes stopped wandering as she came across a sign, and she scampered over to look at it. It was difficult to make out in the moonlight, but she stared at it long enough for it to swarm in to view. The sign read 'Everyone who arrives, survives' with a star in the centre of the tracks reading 'Terminus'. Callie knew everyone would go there, she knew it. A fire sparked inside her body and she smiled, heading down the tracks in the dark towards this new place. Her feet dragged along the stones between the slats and her body started to falter, so she sat down in the treeline for a while, her eyes closing as she rested her head back against a tree.

When she woke, it was light and the sun burned her eyes. "Ow..." she muttered, bringing a hand to the back of her neck as a nerve tweaked from the awkward position it had been in. She hauled herself up to a standing position and stretched out, looking down the railway before setting off towards Terminus again. She stumbled a few times, her legs feeling weak with the lack of sugar in her body. "I gotta rest" she said to herself, taking her satchel off her shoulder and resting her head in her hands on the side of the tracks. "I know they'll be there, I know it" she said, trying to give herself reassurance for the decisions she had made. "Callie? Callie!" she heard someone call, and she looked up from behind her hands. Carl, Rick and Michonne walked towards her, down the railroad. She was found.
